A great breakfast especially for the price. The usual cooked breakfast options as well as unlimited cereal, toast, tea, coffee and juices. It tends to get busier after 8:30am so sometimes you have to wait for some of the cooked breakfast items as they try to keep up with demand. This was during the weekend so it might not be the same during weekdays. Staff were friendly. A good breakfast experience all round.

If only there was an option to give a zero, not much choice, fish is built up to look big with too much batter, very bland and tasteless, salad was missing three ingredients! The waiter says that they are out of a lot of food choices,( even though we had the first evening sitting). If only I would have read the previous reviews!! We would have and should have gone to the pub next door, certainly poor management...a few years back this premier Inn restaurant was very good, now a new building and very low standards of food, leaving here feeling as though I have just wasted £80.00. please note the first picture below on the left is what I got, the picture on the right is of what is advertised.!! You decide!! I think that poor cheap quality products are being served... actually do feel sorry for the servers who have the difficult job of giving this food to paying customers.

We were impressed by the clean lines and spaciousness of the Thyme restaurant. All the staff wore face coverings and were friendly and efficient and the service was great!. The menu is fairly basic as one would expect but there was a good choice of main meals. Unusually for me, I opted for the double cheeseburger and was pleasantly surprised as to how tasty it was! It was washed down with a glass of very decent Malbec. Eating at Thyme was a much more pleasant dining experience than the rough and tumble of Redwood Farm next door! All I would recommend is having a good real ale on offer at the bar. Well done all!

The worst restaurant, hardly anything on the menu, service dreadful and food quality is terrible. Appreciate the COVID challenges but there is no excuse for poor quality food and long delays.

My wife and I joined her sister and brother-in-law (who were staying at the Premier Inn) for an evening meal. This was our first "get together" for some time as we live so far apart. An accessible table had been booked so my wife could remain in her wheelchair. We were shown to a benched table in a booth and had to be offered an alternative table. We were asked to order our drinks the minute we sat down, so we asked the waitress to come back. We waited about 10 minutes before she returned and then a further 10 or 15 minutes for the four drinks to arrive. The order contained a Diet Coke and a normal Coke, but the waitress did not know which was which, so we had to sample them to be sure. We were then told which main meals were not available, which was disappointing. Having placed our orders, we waited. And waited. And waited. The two meals for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law arrived with the news that my wife's meal was not available as the kitchen did not have one of the ingredients, but my meal would arrive soon. A free drink was offered to my wife as a goodwill gesture. She politely declined. My brother-in-law asked for tartare sauce; 10 minutes later, he asked again, only to be told that they did not have any. To avoid their meals going any colder whilst my wife and I were waiting, we encouraged them to start eating. They had all but finished their meals by the time mine arrived. How it took so long to produce a burger alongside two other meals I have no idea. I was a good half way through my meal, which wasn't exceptionally hot, when my wife's finally arrived. The other two meals had long since been finished. We asked to see the restaurant manager who, to his credit, came to our table and offered his full apologies. He agreed to a discount on the meals plus free coffees and even they took over 10 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was not overly busy, there were many empty tables, and there appeared to be more than enough staff to cope, so the delays were inexplicable. One of the diners at the table next to us had ordered a side dish to go with his meal. It never arrived and he had to ask them cancel the order. What started out as a long awaited meal together turned into a fragmented evening with us all eating at different times with the waiting staff not being fully aware that some items were not available until the last minute. I would hope that the restaurant manager, his waiting staff and chefs will learn from this experience, but we will not be visiting again.

I ate in the restaurant with some colleagues while staying at the hotel and we had a good meal. Even though there is a decent amount of place to eat close by we choose to eat here as we had all traveled quiet far and just wanted to relax. The food was actually really tasty and had flavour. The menu is varied and has good selection of dishes. The staff were good and really friendly. I would eat here again.

I don’t often give a 2 rating but multiple things let this place down. I don’t expect to hear all about the waiting staff personal life in middle of the restaurant. The salad that was ordered was delivered incorrectly so that was sent back. The egg was rock solid and the same dish served in a different branch the night before was so different in quality, quantity and presentation Raised it all with premier inn who said take it up with duty manager. After 11 hours of driving the last thing I wanted to do was have to prolong sleep by talking to a person. Safe to say this branch of premier inn is now not on my list of ones to use in the future. Shame as the guy at check in was really friendly and helpful.

Stopped here for Breakfast with my son - we are usually a fan of the Premier Inn Breakfast - however prices have been creeping up lately - the value has gone! (found that with their room prices too so have stopped staying in them). Not made to feel very welcome, cars parked lining all the roads, then greeted with a near empty car park. The reason was down to the new signs charging for parking. You either have to pay £3 on your phone or in reception at the hotel. I would have thought this charge would be removed from bill, but no it is a separate payment. Ordered poached eggs on arrival - they didn't turn up at all. Coffee machine was out of milk and there was no bread for toast - had to ask for both to be rectified. When leaving and wanting to pay, there was no one around at all. Loads of people waiting in reception too but just no staff. Ended up leaving cash on the table and leaving. Really not impressed overall. I won't be stopping here again.

Recently joined a friend who was staying at the Premier Inn on a flying visit to Bristol. I had suggested one of the many nearby restaurants but my friend was tight on time so we opted to dine at this one at the hotel. Sadly it was not a good choice to make. Service was incredibly slow and when the food did eventually arrive it had definitely not been worth the wait.

I had breakfast here every morning during my stay because of the convenience. The food was good although very typical for a chain hotel. The attention from the staff was really nice, they were very helpful and friendly. It did seem as they were always understaffed so if you did not have breakfast included in your hotel stay then you'd have to wait for someone at the bar to pay the bill and that could take up to 15 minutes. While great for breakfast the restaurant was not open at any other time for us to eat.

Like every Thyme restaurant and those similar attached to budget chain hotels, the food is basic, but at least you know what you're going to get. Very family friendly, providing a varied menu that should be suitable for all. Sometimes we found the food poor quality (meat especially) or cold. We reached the conclusion that Thyme is significantly better for breakfast than for other meals.Service is friendly & efficient.

We ate here whilst staying in the attached Premier Inn, having breakfast here two mornings and an evening meal on the first night of our stay.Breakfast was the Premier Inn all you can eat affair, with enough variety to satisfy everyone; fully cooked English (with individually cooked vegetarian options available), omelettes by order, a variety of breads, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, juices, fruits - everything! The staff are wonderful, always happy and smiling. The evening food selection is good, anyone used to a TableTable or Brewers Fayre will be familiar with the menu - the only difference being that the prices are jacked up a little compared to those venues. Portion sizes are good and the food is tasty though. Drinks prices at the bar are a bit pricey - a bottle of beer, a small glass of wine and two lemonades came to nearly £14.If you're staying in the attached Premier Inn, you may as well eat here to be honest. It's cosy and saves you a walk to the pub next door, the Harvester 10 minutes away, or The Venue 15-20 minutes away - particularly at this time of year when it's freezing outside!

Had to request waitress to come over to take order...Our side order for the main courses came as a starter, we did not request any starters and then waited 25 minutes for our actual mains... It was quite obvious the kitchen were getting all starters out to each tables before attempting any mains, we were first seated and waited 40 minutes for our food without being advised of any delay or offered any apology. We then had to request our condiments after we had received the food. When i told the waitress it was a shame they didn't communicate with us about the delays, she replied by saying "well the kitchen didn't tell me either".It took us 1hr and 25 mins for two adult mains and desserts, and one child main and dessert from originally placing our order...Not very practical with a two year old child.

On Sunday evening we enjoyed a quiet and pleasant meal in the in-house restaurant of the Cribbs Causeway Premier Inn. The meals we had were of good quality and well presented. It was table service and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The costs of the main courses we chose were quite high for fairly basic fare, but the ambience here was worth the extra pennies. Recommended.

Bristol is one of my absolute favourite places, it's lively and booming. It offers a lot to a visitor including a great range of places to shop till you drop, amazing food restaurants and lots of local attractions! :) Cribbs is one for the money, it has everything you'd ever need and more it's packed with restaurants as well as floors of shops, layout is bloody lovely and it's so good. My advice save some pennies as it offers shops and shops of offers too and most had a sale :) we ate out on the top floor at the nandos and it was beautiful, best one yet. Really think it's a good place overall and one for any couple or family to walk around, stop off and eat too as all the restaurants are lovely and there's something for everyone, lovely staff too. Will be returning

Used this restaurant which is located in the Premier Inn, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol a few of times while staying there. The first visit went very well. After being shown to a table, my waiter introduced himself and was very attentive. As the dish I chose wasn't available, the waiter gave me more time to choose another. I ended up mixing and matching 2 starters to make one meal, which turned out to be very tasty (Tempura Prawns with green bean, potato, egg and rocket salad). On the second night I ordered a soup & dessert. However, the soup was watery and bland. The dessert, Apple Crumble was warm at the edges and cold in the middle. Custard wasn't too hot either. I know I could have complained, but that evening waiting staff seemed rather busy and didn't even ask whether everything was ok, and I'd waited 20 minutes for my dessert to arrive so just needed to eat!My final meal there turned out not so good either. I ordered Sirloin Steak, rare and it eventually came it was medium cooked. When approached by a waitress (Sophie) who asked if all ok, offered to get me another one which I turned down as I'd waited long enough for it in the first place. In conclusion I expected more than 1 out of 3 meals to be good. Not what I expected for a leading hotel chain.

Had the festive menu, after a very long wait, thought because the food was preordered we wouldn't have to wait so long. Wish the sprouts were cooked longer, and potatoes with the sea bass weren't cooked. Was compensated for this though. Enjoyed the puds.

Visited here for dinner on 11/09 during a walking holiday. Nice decor and welcoming staff. I had a pint of Gem, and was able to use (their only) beer jug! Wine list was good and the pinot blush was approved by my partner. Starter portions were good, the pork bites were very nice as was the Bruschetta, then I had the burger and she had the Gnocchi. Both were good sized portions and very tasty! It was so friendly we popped back for a pint the following lunchtime and were recognised as soon as we walked in!
