Called in to break up a long journey just for a drink. Greeted on entry by a very bright and friendly lady who seemed genuinely pleased to see us, as if she knew us although she doesn’t. I thought the place looked nearly empty, but we were shown to the last two remaining seats, it was really busy. We weren’t hungry unfortunately as the breakfast the guy next to us was eating looked amazing. Still, we did manage a bacon baguette which we shared as we had eaten a substantial breakfast a short while ago. The baguette was warm with a good helping of bacon. I noticed they had won several silver awards for their home made marmalade. I was so disappointed to learn they had sold all their stock but if we’re passing again, I’ll be sure to call in. All the staff are friendly and it’s a really pleasant stop off.

Was pleasantly surprised to find the cafe, pleasant enough surroundings although a little quiet background music would help to soften the atmosphere. Ordered tea and coffee, cake and scone. Our order was taken quickly. Long wait for drinks to arrive although others who arrived after us had received their food. Had to go and ask where cakes were to be told scone was in the oven. Eventually arrived, still frozen, returned not much of an apology, cake was a little dry, especially being told produce made fresh every day ! By this time we had nearly finished our drinks. On payment no apology, no offer of free drink, very disappointed, not sure we saw prices for drinks and cake, nearly £13 for scone and butter, no cream or jam. Sadly, won’t be returning.

This was the first time I had visited this establishment and on my friend’s recommendation we decided to eat at Cafe Craycombe. There was a distinct English charm about the place the staff were very attentive and we were seated very quickly, I had the full English breakfast which was perfect served with whole grain bread in all a very satisfactory experience, I will definitely be visiting Cafe Craycombe again.

We were on our way home from a week in N Wales, saw a small sign by the side of the road. A welcome sight as we were in need of a stop! Myself and my sister visited on my recommendation as I had been last year a few times with my husband. How disappointed was I. We waited to be seated and they cleaned the table whilst we were waiting to sit down. We waited a good 5 minutes for them to take our order. We ordered a coffee and walnut cake and coffee for two the price in the board was £2.80, for the cake. After a good ten minutes or more the coffee and cake arrived. The cake was rather dry which was not the best the coffee was acceptable. After arriving home my sister looked at the receipt after thinking it was rather expensive for what we had. We were charged £3.30 for each slice and £3.90 for the each coffee. We don’t know how much the coffee was advertised at but was over charged for the cake.

The first time we visited we was on our way to Wales and stopped for coffee and cake, it was a lovely hot day and we were able to sit outside. We brought some sausages in the adjoining farm shop and went on our way. The sausages were gorgeous! Literally the nicest we have ever had so on the way back we tried to find the place to buy more but took a wrong turn and missed it. 18 months later we are still talking about the sausages so early one Saturday I looked the place up on Google and we drove 50 miles from Leicester to get there in time for breakfast and to buy some more sausages! We weren't disappointed, the breakfast was lovely, we sat inside as it was now winter and it was warm and cosy with lovely decor. My husband told the lady how far we had come and she was amazed and happy, all the staff are lovely. We brought more sausages and they were again lovely. Came here with my teenage daughter and my friend. Light, airy and very clean, we sat near the door. The menu is quite good, but nothing is marked as either vegetarian, gluten free or vegan, or with those options available. There is a specials board also. The waitress was friendly and clearly happy in her work. Daughter ordered tuna and cucumber sandwich, my friend had the foccacia, and I went for the soup.Everything is made fresh, and daughter was happy with her plate of sandwiches, which came with a few dressed salad leaves and some crisps. My friends board had the foccacia piled with roasted peppers, mozzerella, and pesto, a side salad, and some olives. My soup was pea and spinach, and came with chunks of bread and butter. Daughter loved her sandwich, and ate it all. My friend really enjoyed her platter and said it was quite delicious. My soup was great, but the bowl was quite small I thought, for the price of nearly five pounds. This is why I have given four, not five stars, also, because the sandwiches were pricey, too. I must be getting old if £11 seems too much for a sandwich and a small bowl of soup! Shame though, as it was a lovely place to stop.

And the accompanying bread was fresh and tasty too. There is a short menu; other than the three specials the only other hot food was baked potatoes. But there was a long list of baguettes and fillings, and there are cakes. The carpark is unsurfaced and would challenge disabled or elderly, but they can be dropped off right by the door which is opposite the car park. The servers are friendly and knowledgable. We've just returned from a 3 day break in the Cotswolds, based in beautiful Broadway, and we stumbled across this cafe on our way there whilst looking for a place to get lunch. The cafe doesn't look especially attractive from the outside but internally this beamed barn is a very pleasant space which also has dining facilities on a courtyard at the rear to be enjoyed when the weather is fine. The menu contains the usual sandwich/salad/jacket potato light lunch selection but it was the Day's Specials selection which, for me, lifted this cafe's offerings above others we visited. My husband enjoyed an obviously home-made - thick, tasty & nourishing - broccoli & blue cheese soup & I had the beautifully cooked & presented pan fried salmon on locally grown asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Everything was piping hot. Service was friendly & effective. There is a neighbouring deli selling local produce & a few other businesses clustered around. The cafe's toilets are clean & modern. Plenty of parking just yards away from the front door. Very happy to recommend on the basis of our experience.

We stopped here for the 2nd year running on our way up to the NEC. Lovely place to take a break, have coffee and cake and a quick look round the little shops in the courtyard. Lots of cakes to choose from and friendly staff.

Lovely tea at the cafe and some tasty cakes on offer which can't fail to tempt! Delighted to find some antique shops round the other side and I bought a beautiful pair of regency gilt mirrors from Manormonkeys. What a lovely relaxing spot to potter - I'll be back for lunch next time and maybe more shopping too!

We have visited Café Craycombe on a number of occasions and enjoyed a good cup of coffee with a light meal; all of which have been excellent. Today I had a full English breakfast. Two good sized rashers of dry cured bacon, a thick sausage, tomato, beans, a superb large flat mushroom and two of the tastiest eggs I have eaten in years. I can honestly say that this is the best cooked breakfast I have ever bought! Well done Café Craycombe. Good locally sourced food simply cooked to perfection.

Great coffee and refreshments in a refurbished barn. There is a small menu that changes daily. They also have a special oven for jacket potatoes which are consistently good, with a choice of fillings. The cafe also has an attached deli selling local produce. The cooked breakfasts served till 11.30am are superb. Service is good, but it is a popular venue and next to the Vale Golf Club, so there are times when it's busy. Worth the wait for a table though.

Arrived at restaurant 12-30 on saturday 14/11/15 for lunch,we have had many pleasant meals here in the past-but not today. found a table and sat at it,were studying the menu when the waitress comes along and says 'sorry but this table is reserved' i said there is not a reserve sign here, she says no i am just putting one on now,on asking if there was another table available was told NO there wasn't on saying to the waitress did she think this was good customer service she replied WE ARE BUSY,clearly they don't care about customers,as long as they are busy. we left never to return. We always go to farm shop and buy things there as well, not today.I must say i have never been treated so badly. They couldn't even be bothered to send a manager to speak to us,they sent a young waitress.Doesn't even deserve one star.Hope you have better service.!!!!!

We stopped here on a lovely sunny Sunday morning, and sat outside at the back in a courtyard to enjoy our coffee. This is now a perfect stopping place on the Evesham to Worcester road. The present owners have made great efforts to inprove this in the last few years, and it is now a lovely cafe with a deli/produce shop attached.

A great place for a leisurely, quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients. Coffee is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the attached deli is worth a visit. Lunches are also excellent. My wife and I have never been disappointed by food or service. Well worth a visit!

Probably the best pea and ham broth I've ever eaten. Truly delicious. Great to see the signature marmalade bread and butter pudding back. The quality of food and service never fails to please. A delightful cafe and a firm favourite.

Purely be chance we spotted Craycombe from the road on the way to Broadway. What a little gem of a place! Lovely warm welcome, spotlessly clean, and oh probably the best breakfast I have ever had ( and that's saying something) Cooked to perfection with hot fresh toast and tea- we couldn't want for more. We will definitely be making a return trip, even though it's a good hour drive for us- absolutely first rate in every way.

Popped in mid morning for a great coffee, and had some brunch. The toast with mushrooms were divine ! My partners bacon egg roll was first class. Very friendly bunch of ladies, and we left very happy bunnies. Popped into the deli attached, which is small and a bit pricey, but with a few nice unusual tasty things to buy.

Greeted well and the food was good, we all had the goulash ....very tasty .....it has to be said that we lacked for nothing in the good service they provided for a host of either cyclists dropping in for a quick bite, or us, for a nice meal. Shut that door cyclists ! It can get a bit drafty but we knew that and we knew to put on a jumper. Lovely barn and thanks for a lovely meal. Also enjoyed looking at the other places on site with good quality restored furniture etc.

The person manning the entrance insisted we wear bands on wrists (plasticised, non-recyclable) which indicated payment of the garden entrance fee which would allow seating in the garden area. Having reserved a table inside, sunny weather tempted us into the garden. No tables were reserved in the garden area. Staff stated they were unable to move an umbrella to provide shade over a table large enough to accommodate the 5 of us. This request was made by 2 very elderly members of the group. We moved to the reserved table inside the tearoom which allowed dogs at tables. Our expectation of a healthy lunch with salads gathered from the wonderful kitchen garden was dashed. Salad leaves came from plastic bags, quiches were supermarket produced and almost nothing locally sourced. Mediocre, bought-in food assembled on site. When asking for water at the table, a glass urn was pointed out to us. “Glasses” were the single use plastic type. 2 of the party, sitting at opposite ends of the table, ordered the same type of tea. One pot between the 2 was provided. When the meals arrived, the waitress stood at the end of the table, announced the contents of the plates and expected to pass them to the person seated next to her for distribution down the table. A second waitress attempted a similar act with the cutlery (wrapped in a serviette) but then did walk around the table and put it in the appropriate place. The attitude of the supervisory staff was high handed. The younger members, although pleasant, were clearly untrained. Although something of a fuss was made about the displaying of the entrance wrist bands if the garden area of the tearoom was to be used, (can only be clearly displayed on a handbag strap or wrist), several customers not displaying bands were seated in the lovely sunny garden. The gardens were simply beautiful.

Early evening meal with 4 friends . We opted for the 2 courses for £10 deal! We tried the 3 options available and each were lovely. Well cooked and presented. Huge choice of dessert - all delicious. Service was friendly and warm - even though as the only person working, she had a lot on her plate! With drinks - it cost £16 per person. The main menu was also good value. A couple of us would have preferred to see a couple of salad option on the menu so that’s what would have made it 5* However absolutely worth a visit.
