Country Kitchen Cafe in Bassetlaw

Brunch with family. We walked up from Trentfield Farm campsite Lovely breakfasts. Really helpful and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Found this place on a biker page, and was ruding back to Essex from Cumbria. 14 bikes rolled up and this place didn't bat an eye. A lovely welcome, set up the conservatory, food was served quickly, including stuff not actually on the menu (ploughmans) and was good standard. The Waitress was top notch, smiley and helpful. A great place to stop.

A clean simple cafe that serves home made food. £10.00 for a large breakfast that came with toast. It is a simple nice unfussy place to eat.

Absolutely lovely cafe for either breakfast or lunch.Cant say enough about this place.The staff are all so friendly and helpful , the food is gorgeous and this all adds up to a very satisfiying and pleasant experience.Thankyou Country kitchen!!

What's not to like, evening meal in the pub attached the night before then stumbled across this little gem while out walking the hound to blow the cobwebs off. The breakfast was perfect, it was also massive, the sausages were lovely. The staff were so nice too. The Cafe and the Ferryboat made our break! We will be back!

So we go here often. This time wasn’t as good as the others. Food was beautiful as always but there were only 2 types of cakes, a scone or something else for dessert. We only go for the choice of cake so we’re gutted. Also you can’t give a mixer as a drink and charge full price. 200ml isn’t a drink, it didn’t even fill the teeny glass we got. Go back to cans

Wonderful staff with a sense of humour, excellent choice of food at realistic prices, fast service and cakes to die for, all home made. We try and call in once a week and always look forward to it, looking forward to a Christmas meal in December.

We didn't realise this gem of a cafe was so close to where we live. Tucked away round the back its clean tidy and has wheelchair/pushchair access to the converted trailer. Outside are park benches and parasols. Inside the cakes look great snd taste even better! Will be back to try their breakfast out sometime. 5*

I had been fancying some cake, so my bro did a quick search online and found this place. Images looked great, so we whacked the destination into the satnav, jumped on the motorbikes n head off. Staff were really polite and friendly and the cake was divine! It's the small touches they do which makes them special. Added this place to the satnav with a little cake icon so when I'm passing I know where to call in for a rest stop. Hope to revisit again soon and sample everything on the menu lol.

Fantastic food, loved the bacon butty and cake. Good value too. Excellent and well worth a visit. All members of the group very happy.

Visited back in October, we sat in their outdoor tent, the breakfast was excellent. All quality products and cooked perfectly, we will certainly be back for that. The service was great and all COVID secure, if you blinked you would miss this brilliant little place, give it a try.

Brilliant service, everyone is always happy and smiling! The food is great, good selection and the homemade cakes are amazing!

Been to this place a few times and I couldn’t find any fault at all...the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is amazing...definitely recommend

Can’t fault a single thing. Food is beautiful and homemade. The best chips around, amazing cakes and yummy meals on the specials menu. The staff are wonderful and polite. So heartwarming. 10/10 recommend. I just wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

We visited on whilst camping at Trentfield farm this week. I have to say the quiche was beautiful, the COVID secure measures in place were great too. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. A definite next time we’re in the area.
