Great venue but quite noisy. Good food.

2nd time we have been here for drinks. Will try lunch next time. This place has real atmosphere and as the name suggests it’s real cosy. Comfortable chairs good views, friendly staff attentive but not over bearing. Great cocktails and a good menu

A fantastic evening at Cosyclub, Chester tonight. Lovely food and wonderful service. It was my son's 13th birthday and our waiter, Chris was fantastic. Read the room and marked it subtlety! The birthday brownie was delicious and a lovely touch. Thanks Chris!

1st visit to this carvery a bit disappointed the staff looked a little bit flustered as if they were doing some body else's job and uncomfortable doing it and just had enough food to serve wanted beef but not available had to have Turkey ☹

The risotto is delicious, it's the second time I've been and I intend to go again.

We went to celebrate a very personal result yesterday 14th March. We would definitely recommend here. All The Staff are lovely. We are 68 and 70 and they talked to us just like friends. We had A Chicken salad and a Halumi salad (I'm not a lover of mustard or honey but the ingredients sounded so nice I gave it a try). Absolutely gorgeous so tasty.. Definatly recommend. I will definitely have again . Then apple tart and Chocolate cheesecake. (Never mind the calories ). . The taste is delicious. Th background music is perfect not too loud. And the time inbetween meals just right. Your not rushed at all. A very big warm hearted thank you to Chris whose kindness made this a very memorable day.

Located in the city centre a very relaxing pub for a pint after a day of walking. Staff very chatty, beer refreshing but not that cheap, deco is stylish.

Three of us and two dogs, lovely environment and decor, but it was " dead" on a Sunday night. Also : no service" as we were sitting in the dog corner, which was a bit strange. But will deffo go again.

Classic Cosy Club decor in this city centre bar and great value cocktails with their Teatime Tipple offer. We visited on a Monday and Tuesday evening and the cocktails were excellent. The duty manager on the Tuesday was very friendly and engaging, even offering to exchange one of my wife's drinks when she found it wasn't to her taste, Can't complain at that service! We can't comment on the food as we were concentrating on the drinks! A very nice spot for a decent drink, near the cathedral

I’ve been lots and will continue to go, but the service it’s so hit and miss. You don’t know what you will get.

My Husband and I had a lovely meal 9th Feb. The staff are so obliging and helpful, so much so, I am treating our two daughters tonight 13th Feb before we go to the Story House.

Nice atmosphere great service and good food.

I go to cosy clubs all over and usually have a great service but Chester isn't it. The woman at the bar and staff didn't smile or seem friendly at all. It was very quiet when we went not even a quarter full of people. It's supposed to be table service but she ignored us and we had to go the bar twice to order our drinks and food. No complimentary water offered. No smiles. Not the best atmosphere. For the price you'd expect at least some table service and not made to feel stupid when ordering.

It's a lively place. We only called in here for a drink. It's a little odd with a sort of lounge as you enter, but everything else is upstairs. Didn't try the food, but I noticed the limitless prosecco was very popular. There's not a great beer choice, but I suppose it's more like a wine bar.

We usually go for breakfast, but this time it was a preshow meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, great food and helpful staff. Definitely will be going back.

Went for drinks but it seems to be more of a food place

6 of us caught up for food and drinks, and unfortunately we barely hear each other. It was extremely loud in Cosy Club. Also, our food and drinks took an age to arrive. My main was really poor - risotto. Very watery, wouldn’t recommend. Also, due to items not being available on the menu, vegetarian choices were limited. Overall, disappointing.

A lovely place to visit and great attention to allergies. My coeliac dining companion was well looked after with the best gluten free awareness we have experienced anywhere we have ever eaten.

I am a Cosy Club fan. Today the Manager was on a loud conference call in the corner of the restaurant (earphones?) Great place otherwise. Brilliant in fact. Avoid Monday mornings unless you want to listen in.

Warming up our morning with a breakfast cuddle at the Cozy Club! A vegan breakie cozied up with the traditional. Breakfast perfection in the coziest corner! Absolutely delicious! The mushrooms were so tasty. Service brilliant. Thank you. ❤️

We spent NYE here while visiting Chester. What an amazing experience! Prior to traveling to the UK, I reached out to the restaurant regarding my daughters dietary restrictions. Even though it was a Pre Fixe menu, they were very accommodating and allowed her to select dishes from their regular menu. I emailed her requests. I did inform them that my husband was also gluten free. But since their NYE menu already contained plenty of options, he didn't need to order something different. When we arrived, the host mentioned the special meal right away and acknowledged my husband's Gluten Intolerance. When we were seated the server also commented on the GF needs at our table. As it turned out, my daughter wasn't able to join us due to illness. So they applied the amount I prepaid for her meal to our bar tab. So that worked out perfectly! The food was phenomenal! We enjoyed everything from the canapés to the dessert. It was probably the best meal of our entire 12 day trip to the UK. And our server was wonderful as well. I really can't say enough about the Cosy Club in Chester. Their service and food are top notch!

Only called for drinks, Very nice pub

Brilliant service from our server Chris, we both had steaks and no complaints were tender and sauce was excellent. We then had a brownie which was amazing - bill wasn’t to expensive for what we got - Will definitely be coming again!

They fitted us at the very last minute for a table of 10 after another restaurant let us down. The food was good and so was service even though they were busy.

Visited here twice over the last couple of months. Can rate it as OK. Cocktail selection is really good but service is confusing. The first visit I went to the bar and was told to go and sit and someone would take my order. That's great, but the second time we waited at the table for a long time and eventually flagged a waiter who told us to go to the bar....while they took orders from a table next to us. Confusing and staff a little sniffy about it!

Slow food service but worth the wait as it was delicious. Crowded and noisy but could attribute it to season. Clean and tidy, attentive staff. Well worth a visit.

Booked a table from 6pm and stayed until quite late with 7 work friends. Decor is eclectic creating a stylish look and a warm atmosphere. The staff were excellent - all of them; they were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. All of us enjoyed our food; absolutely no moans! My broccoli starter was delicious as was my main course vegetable wellington (the roast parsnips and carrots were great and the tiny roasted sprouts were amazing). I paid just under £25 for the two courses and it was well worth the money. (There were cheaper options). It’s the nicest vegetarian meal I’ve had in a very long time. Well done Cosy Club; we’ll be back.

Came on a Friday evening, 2 weeks before Christmas. It was busy but service was excellent. The food was delicious and the cherry bakewell cocktail to die for!

Quiet Sunday night in there. Lovely cocktails 🍸

The bar and restaurant is well styled and certainly lives up to its name! After a day wandering round the shops and Christmas market, we were fortunate enough to get a walk in booking. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The lady who served us once seated, made us feel welcome and comfortable, even with our noisy 6 month old, who is perhaps not their usual Friday night clientele! Drinks and food were all served quickly. I enjoyed the hearty Christmas pie, whilst my wife had the Spanish chicken which she said had a nice kick to it! A lovely meal and great service in a venue with a smart but relaxed feel. We’ll definitely be looking out for the other Cosy Clubs when on our travels.

Super nice venue for our family drinks. It was cozy, as is the name, and the staff were friendly. I’ve been a few times and it can get very loud when it’s busy, but that’s the same everywhere really.

First & last time we will visit the Cosy Club in Chester. The food was very disappointing with inedible vegetables that were rock hard. The portion size was half a plate empty, so don’t go there expecting to walk out full as you definitely won’t!

Shocking Staff, guy on the desk as you go in said just go up if only drinking and looked annoyed. Goodness knows why it's called cosy, more like frosty!!

Stayed in Chester visiting the Christmas Market and came across Cosy Club, Looked very appealing from outside so enticed us in. It was very busy but very spacious, we were showed to our table immediately. The atmosphere and decor was definitely COSY! The member of staff (Chris) was very attentive and friendly, Very good at hos job. We decided on the small plates to share, Chris recommended the Pork belly bites (They did not disappoint)😋 We chose 6 small plates... Pork Belly Bites Beef Croquettes Garlic Prawns Crayfish Roll Fried Halloumi Roast Baby Potatoes Plenty between the 2 of us and each plate was Hot, cooked well, looked great and very tasty.😋 Side plates were provided without asking, we were asked if we were enjoying our food and when finished plates were cleared and desserts offered. CHRIS is definitely an asset to Cosy Club 👌 We couldn't leave without having a dessert, so decided to share a Chocolate mousse, DELISH!! Was sorry I said I'd share 🤣 Our bill came to £65 including drinks and was worth every penny, We'll definitely be returning when we're next in Chester and will be checking out the one in Liverpool to see if it lives up to Chester's standards 🤞 Thankyou Cosy Club for a great meal and COSY surroundings AND Thankyou Chris for great service 👌

If you are looking for a restaurant where you can have a giggle with friends after a day at the Christmas markets then this ISNT place for you! We arrived,ordered drinks and waited patiently for about 15 mins for the drinks to come. No one came to take out food order during this time either. The place was near empty as it was a Sunday evening. Next minute the waiter came over asking us to keep the noise down as 3 tables had complained. We politely asked the only 3 tables in the restaurant and not one said they had complained and looked rather puzzled when we asked them. We found the waiter to be very condescending and rude. We were having a giggle doing absolutely no harm after a great festive day on the markets. Of course this ruined the evening for a short time but thankfully managed to get in a fabulous alternative restaurant who were more than accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. Cosy club could learn a thing or two from their customer service. Won’t be going back I’m afraid.

This was our first visit to the Cosy Club in Chester and we were not disappointed! We had breakfast which was really flavoursome, some lovely unusual choices on the menu. The service was excellent too, we will definitely be back!

Enjoyable food and good service

Came for brunch for my birthday yesterday and had a lovely time. Although the rostis have changed and are tiny now, and the gluten free bread isn’t as good as it was when I went to Cosy Club in Bath, the wonderful service from Olivia and Paige more than made up for it. Even when it got really quite busy they were very efficient, friendly and super helpful. I’m only leaving a review as I feel they both deserved a mention.

The Cosy Club is a great place to relax with a drink after a busy day of shopping in Chester. The food was excellent too. I recommend the prawns for starter and the seabass for main - both delicious 😋

Originally just called in for a drink with our little dog but ended up having a sandwich each . The staff are excellent ,I'm cealic & I fancied a sandwich , my husband asked if they could do a sandwich for me & the staff were so helpful . I had a tasty grilled chicken sandwich & chips . We loved the atmosphere & decor here . We will definitely be back

We were on a visit to Chester and decided on a late lunch at the Cosy. So glad we did. Friendly welcome on arrival from Chris (our superb waiter), he made time to ask how our day had been and had a little chat about the places we’d visited. Some people are made for a career in hospitality, they have a knack of knowing just when things are needed and our drinks, order and meal were timed perfectly. The food was delicious as were the cocktails. We were able to take advantage of the cocktail offer. We were given some suggestions of what we might like to try. All in all a great evening in a very friendly setting, thank you Chris!

Amazing amazing food, which was a nice surprise given the service, really nice venue with lots of cool vibe stuff... Service was the slowest I have had in a long time at every stage of the meal. Even when we did get served it was in zombie mode, staff vibe was we are knackered and overworked and this place sucks to work felt sorry for them because no one should feel that way about work.

The staff at Chester use a very simple model they serve excellent food which has a great selection for vegetarians and together with this they give excellent service. They are efficient but make time for each person. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very busy and noisy. Inital service was quite quick food was delicious. Service after main course was poor. We waited a long time 30 minutes+ for someone to clear the table and we weren't offered a sweet - just asked if we wanted the bill! We waited 20 minutes and still no bill. We had to ask someone else for the bill as we had to be out to get our seats at a concert.

Excellent food and atmosphere everytime we go there. The staff is so super friendly, we feel like home! There was only one incident last time, where we were waiting for an extra portion of fries, and we had to go remind another waiter, as ours finished his shift mid serving. He wasn't happy and a bit short with us, BUT this was just one incident. We all have weird days! We are 100% going back next time in Chester, as always!

A unique eclectic restaurant with fascinating decor, very flavourful dishes, the breakfasts are delicious, great views above the street, great service too, a must visit.

4 the place was lovely cosy as designed beautiful, but 1 for the lady behind the bar was so unapproachable and miserable and very unhelpful. When corrected on the drinks I ordered give me the filthiest look I’ve ever had in my life.

Visited with friends, the food was great quality and reasonable prices for an upmarket restaurant. Lovely service from an assistant who went expertly through the drinks menu, making recommendations to one of my friends on cocktails. Also expert advice about food choices, didn't feel rushed.

Came for bottomless brunch for my sister’s 30th birthday. Service was impeccable, staff were so attentive. It was great to be offered drinks efficiently rather than having to wait. Have been on several other bottomless brunches before but this one was by far the best!...

It's a lovely place but I feel its better for hot and cold drinks. Meals always take very long to come out. We waited an hour for our meal today. Very pleasant staff. Did not really enjoy the meal . I think we were far to hungry to enjoy it. The staff were kind enough to allow us a 25% discount off our meal due to the extended wait. That was kind but I have been several times now and the wait time for meals are very long. We will be back but hopefully the food wait time improves

We only recently discovered this brilliant place. We had a special meal there after a civil partnership in the family, and were treated so well, with complimentary prosecco when we arrived. The decor is beautiful, William Morris inspired. Great view of the street below. Top marks for accessibility, with a lift up to the restaurant for those who can't manage the stairs, a nice accessible toilet. But best of all was the service. The staff are fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt but we never felt rushed. We were there from 11am until 5.30 pm. Who could ask for more?
