Costa Coffee in Bolton

This is a great branch of Costa they make great coffee the staff are very friendly and the place is always clean.

Worst toastie I have ever had. Only toasted on one side Complained to Staff told oven does only toast one side.

Without doubt the consistently worst Costa i have used. Cappachino with no froth and served too hit to drink. Definitely NOT BRAND STANDARD. Usually use the Costa in Next store at Middlebrooke which is EXCELLENT

Absolutely love this place. My wife and I are in there most days. Excellent atmosphere and service and above all a great friendly team of staff who make the effort to chat to you the more they see you. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Bolton market place costa coffee very bad customer service. One lady is very racist she behaves badly with asian customer.we are regular costa lover but very disappointed this time😡

We used the drive-thru service and the service was less that ideal. It took some time for them to take my order. We ordered pastries and they got the order wrong and gave us plain croissants. We were already on the motorway when we realised which was frustrating. This also means I was overcharged for my order. The attention to customers needs improving.

And some of the tables were messy.... no wonder It’s a busy coffee shop!! The staff today were all over it, the girls were claimed tables as required with a smile in their face and the two baristas today were bang on their game! Clean, speedy and tasty!

A great place to meet up with friends for a coffee and a chat Great range of cakes and large range of hot drinks. Love the millionaire shortbread. Friendly staff.

In here now (sunday) and not sure whats going wrong with costa. Just been served by the most miserable girl in a turquoise top (no name badge) who is slobbing round making drinks. Very unprofessional....no apology for long wait. Come on costa sort youself out

I have just been and had THE best Millionaire’s Shortbread I’ve ever had! You must try! 100% recommended! Fast, friendly service too :)

Arrived early in Bolton, so thought i'd treat myself to a coffee. Coffee shop was closed, but the friendly barista didn't mind me walking thru the drive-thru. Polite, quick friendly service. Cheaper than having the coffee to sit down. Large free car park. Easy access.

Regular visitor to this Costa which is always busy, can't fault the coffee or service but the place is looking a little tired. The only fault is that it can take a while before tables are cleared.

not any more. The tables are rarely cleared promptly and yesterday the outside seating area was seriously uninviting...litter on the ground, a large and overflowing bin and, as ever, all the tables strewn with used crockery etc. Shame, it was a nice sunny day and the place should have been looking attractive enough to encourage punters in. I drew it to the attention of a staff member and she did make an attempt to clear the tables but there's a problem if your customers have to tell you. Maybe the cafe is under staffed, something's not right. We'll be going elsewhere next time.

差不多每天都會見到 costa, 尤其是長途車 service 站都一定有. 咖啡質素穩定, 夠咖啡味. 價錢平星巴克少少. 不過他們沒有什麼 seasonal 特別飲品. 食品方面選擇不多, 都是 muffin, croissant 之類.

Popped here last Friday at lunch time to pick up some coffees and lunch for myself and some colleagues. It was very busy but we got our order and returned to work. Sadly the coffees weren’t up to their usual standard. We phoned the store to let them know and spoke to Steph, who we presume is the manager. She was very apologetic and offered to replace the order. Unfortunately we weren’t able to come out of work again and so suggested that we get the replacements today. We phoned the order through this morning and at lunchtime went to collect. Not only did she replace the coffees and toasties but also gave us cakes,she was very apologetic about our visit last week. This time the order was perfect and we all had a very enjoyable lunch! Have to say that the customer service was excellent and the store managed to turn a disappointing experience into a very positive one.

I walked into this shop and was completely ignored by the 2 members of staff until the manger came out and told them to serve me, Then I was asked 3 time more time what I wanted. Then as I was sat down a third member of staff who appeared from nowhere decided to prat around rather than clean the floor as requested by the manager, she asked him if he had done it and he said yes , when clearly you could see all the mess on the floor. So unprofessional and as a customer I should not be witness to all this poor workmanship.

Popped in for a coffee and quick sandwich. Service was speedy with lots of staff to serve. Tables cleaned and both food and coffee tasty. Only downside - decidedly smelly loos!!

My wife and I went for a quick brew at this store on the way home yesterday and I was quite amazed what I witnessed.A couple of places up from me in the queue was a couple of Indian ladies who were, I guess, in their mid 30's. Whilst I was watching and listening they were polite, quiet and were simply waiting for their drinks. Although nothing was specifically said to these two ladies the body language and lack of communication by the person serving was amazingly rude and unprofessional. I asked the lady working on the coffee machine what this mans name was and she would only gave me his Christian name as Sam. To be honest she looked as embarrassed as me.I intend to write to their head office with more details about my concerns but in the meantime be mindful of customer sevice levels i this store.

I have been coming to this store for the last year. It's always very busy because of its proximity to the colleges and university. The service is always friendly and helpful with the staff taking time to acknowledge regular customers. Drinks and snacks are always hot and the cakes moist and fresh. Even at busy times the tables are cleared quickly and kept clean. There is free parking for up to three hours. Allover a good advert for the chain of coffee shops.

Queued for 10 minutes only for cashier to ignore me and serve the person behind me... So rude will never go back and has put me Costa Coffee.... Avoided Costa now and go to other coffee shops...

In the heart of Bolton Town Centre, right in the middle of a retail park sits this cosy little Costa Coffee. It's set in the typical Costa fashion with ample parking outside and an indoor and outdoor seating area. This place is idea if you just want somewhere to go for a relaxing coffee admist a hectic day shopping! The Q's are usually minimal and the staff are consistent, friendly and welcoming when it comes to your order. 100% would visit again.

I would normally let this bad service go if it wasn't for the rude cashier.I had to queue quite a long time. I was asked three times by three different people what I wanted. When I finally got to the till to pay (I ended my call from my daughter) and the cashier said under her breath 'mobile phones are a nuisance'. I must agree they can be a nuisance but it's also a nuisance when you've been queuing for over 10 minutes and there's no service with a smile or an apology for the long wait!
