Caffe Nero in Bolton

Nice atmosphere and service. I got the frappe mocha to go with cream on top. It tasted great. Would recommend and go again.

The flavor is rich and bold, but not bitter at all.

The coffee was as expected Nero quality. The pastry was good. But tables were not cleared after customers left so I wasn't able to sit at some places. Toilets were acceptable but not as good as Costa nor the nearby marketplace. Choices of cakes are better than the local coffee shop down near the town hall square.

Waiting in the queue for ages while both staff was in deep conversation? Everyone in the queue was noticing and commenting. The girl server looked like she'd rather be anywhere else than here(doing her job) customer service skills = zero Not 1 table clean or wiped? Chairs and floor full of crumbs? I would also like to add how heavy the doors are to enter, I've helped 2 couples trying to get in with their walkers etc....a person in a wheelchair would NOT BE ABLE too enter this coffee shop.....how disgraceful for 2024..... I WONT be returning here..... Shame on the overpriced Caffe Nero management 😭😭😭🦽🦽🩼🩼

I ordered a tuna panini via Uber eats. They were out of tuna paninis and without ringing me or contacting me they substituted it with a ham panini. Consuming pig is against my religion, therefore I’m sure you can understand my anger and frustration when I opened the bag and saw what was inside. Very unprofessional. Thankfully Uber gave me a refund. Please be a little more careful in the future.

It is very dirty, the tables have become dirty and sticky, the floors are very dirty, in short, it is a hotbed of germs.

I am a regular customer at the Bolton Cafe Nero branch, the coffee is great but what really brings me back are the staff. They are brilliant. The always have a smile, give speedy service and offer me babyccinos for my children. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Friendly student type dude made good coffee. Came in on a super hot day, air-conditioning in the cafe did not disappoint. Sat wide legged to air my balls out and drink my coffee. Cooled down as I watched the humans walk past the big clear windows. They were sweaty. I was not. Would recommend.

Milkshake that contains less milk than water which is mostly ice, yuk it was horrible and how do you suck ice up thru a paper straw and all for £4.05, a homeless man came in and they gave him water with ice in it for free, credit to them for that but I won’t be going back for what he had for free with a pinch of flavouring and milk in it for an eye watering price, I expect a milkshake to be milk!

One of the few neros that I have been too that I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in The atmosphere was brilliant it was clean and tidy and the coffee was great 👍

I visited caffe Nero for the first time and staff Cassie was lovely💫 her attitude, energy was amazing✨️ I would definitely visit again. Thanks Cassie for the memorable experience of my first visit at Caffe Nero🙏

Arrived at the place with high expectations and they were very well met and even exceeded. The salted caramel brownie hot chocolate is a MUST HAVE. yum. Friendly staff and very quick service.

The location is good. Prices are reasonable. However inside of the shop is a little bit messy. Not too much clean. Tablets were dirty as well. Staff is polite but they seem tired maybe exhausted.

Only one Neros in Bolton and unfortunately it's this place. Great to sit outside on a sunny day but not pleasant inside. It looks tired and dirty. On the whole the staff are excellent and try to make the best of the place. Why not open a nice new one in the Market Place? Bolton can accommodate two Neros.

Lovely coffee, £2..95 a small cup, bit dear, but if its a treat, it's worth it. Nice ambiance inside, also has outdoor seating.

What is happening here? Went last week only to find a notice on the door stating 'take away only". Went again today same notice on door. Not good enough, why? When I went in last week another time it was not takeaway only the soap dispenser in the toilet was hanging off the wall and unusable and there was no toilet paper. Another time lately there were no cups and saucers only paper cups. It is a shame

All the girls who work there are fantastic, friendly and very welcoming.

Need more staff got order wrong

I visited cafe Nero and an the staff was Unprofessional staff that works as a trainee and her nails were all dark and dirty! I ordered a cappuccino and the way they gave it to me was just not right. Awful service also ordered a sandwich that gave me food poisoning as it may have not been fresh. The service should be clean and neat not trashy.

We visit each time we're there. Great coffee.

Good coffee, great service and even gluten free dessert choices

Very nice food, a seasonal turkey and cranberry lattice pasty and a large latte. The shop is on the corner across the road from McDonald's in the town centre. The food was fresh and hot 🔥 and the coffee ☕ was fantastic, freshly ground. Staff where very helpful with my wife as she was on a mobility scooter opening the doors for her. Good selection of drinks and food. Very clean and a cosy place for a chat and relax 😌.

Been going here for years when ever I go Bolton on my own. It's a lovely little quite spot to go when you fancy some you time.

Went to caff'e Nero today as I have many times when I visit bolton, but to my horror they have decided to make all the outside area none smoking!!! I think this is very unfair to the smoking loyal customer card holders who like everyone else just wants to sit outside and have a coffee and a smoke, I feel very disappointed with caff'e Nero as I was forced to go elsewhere and the loyalty card is now useless as I will not be returning to a place that as no thought for it's loyal customers, it just seems so contradictory that you can stand outside with a cigarette but you can't sit at the table with a coffee and cigarette (baffling).

Dead centre of Bolton (because Bolton is pretty much dead at the minute). An oasis of life in a desperate town centre. Friendly staff, usual array of cafe nero goodies, indoor and outdoor seating. Can't fault the place for speed, quality and price.

I called at this coffee shop today 3 people sitting out side asked the member of staff female long lashes and long hair.we politely asked her for a chair.How absolutely rude she was she replied in a high tone people are supposed to be socially distancing and said we could not sit together.She was like a ticking bomb.We did not stay to have a relaxing coffee to be treated in that disgusting manner.

Town center walk with Great coffee shop. Lovely staff that make fantastic coffee and a range of food available to go with it. Outdoor seating available for the warmer weather. Brilliant place to people watch and just get to chill out. Bathroom available at the back of the store. O2 priority deal is one good reason for buy one get one deal. Staff is friendly and helpful. Chocolate croissant and brownies are fresh.

I'm a massive coffee fan! With the o2 priority app a caramel latte only cost me 50p. The portion isn't to large so it won't stop me from having another coffee and small enough to wet my beak!

Lovely caramel latte and the wait time was short. Little else to say apart from Carmen needs a raise for working alone so hard, whilst trying to manage idiots who can't observe social distancing and door signs . . .

Lone staff member was tending the café. She was very polite but because of a delivery there was no visible staff for a couple of minutes. From a safety standpoint, there should always be at least 2 staff members. Drinks were average but overpriced. Some of the fixtures/fittings are looking a bit tired.

Sent ham and mozzeralla panini instead of tomato and mozzeralla to a Muslim. At what point would you think it's ok to change an order! Waste of money

The coffee was great as usual but the place was freezing. The door open and the air conditioning blowing cold. When we said we were cold the lovely barista did turn off the aircon but it was still very cold. Not enjoyable to have to keep your coat on while drinking your coffee.

I come hear every weekend and the ladies that work there are wonderful and so polite and welcoming.

Café Nero is generally always a great location, great coffee and pastries etc. This Bolton Nero is especially great. Really great ladies, smiling, kind, professional!! And working so hard, two ladies....never stopped moving, we were in there almost two hours!!! Hopefully their bosses appreciate these great ladies!!! Cafe Nero are lucky to have them. Great place. Highly recommended!

Sausage roll served up cold in parts/luke warm in others, twice. Must train staff how to use reheating appliances and to check temperature of meat being served.

Nice little place. Lots of regular faces. Plenty of cakes to choose from to go with a wide choice of coffees.

Hot chocolate tasted bitter and not very hot. Was a complete let down, they definitely do a better take away hot chocolate then a sit in one. Wont make the mistake again by sitting inside.
