The staff here are so lovely! Immediately on arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming, after eating they allowed me to sit and wait in here as I was anxious about going to a doctor’s appointment. Food was delightful as always!

Just ordered my coffee to be delivered as I have a newborn and alone. Thought I'd try your golden caramel latte. It arrived SCOLDING HOT! Don't you know the temperature parameters you're meant to steam coffee at ? Neros don't deliver it to me scolding, burnt milk because they're worried its going to arrive not hot enough. No, they're always the perfect temperature, about 80°C. I also had to add my OWN coffee and sugar to it since I could taste no flavour. What a waste of my time and money. Get baristas that know what they're doing. I'm sure you have stacks of CVs. !!

The costa coffee is my favourite high street coffee brand hence I am biased in saying that the coffee flavour is as you expect from the costa. It is a very busy branch and the so-called Barista are not well trained here. They can also train their staff better to avoid cross-contamination of food such as vegetarian food not being touched by the equipment used for meat containing food.

Um why does this only have three stars it’s so good! Great drinks and good food, it is a bit expensive but it’s good quality. You also get free muffins after 7pm so yeah! Go to Costa! Aesthetic goals!

This is situated in an ideal location, but staff slopping milk and water all over the trays, dirty cups and a seeming lack of interest means it not the relaxing sanctuary it could be. Shame - if the staff demonstrated a little more care it would be so much better.

Coffee and cake with a friend. There always seems to be a long queue mid morning, but suppose everyone wants to visit at this time. Tables need clearing a bit quicker but like I say it was a busy period.

This outlet (as well as others) no longer supplies napkins unless customers specifically requests them. They used to available on the service units, alongside sugar, etc. When questioned as to why they no longer on the units the ‘Barista’ (what an irritating term) advised that it because it was saving the environment! Customers were taking too many. What a lot of guff. Saving the environment would be better served if Costa did not offer carry out packaging, cups, straws, boxes, etc. Apart from the obvious use of napkins, they are needed to place under the coffee cup, on the saucer, to stop the spillage from dripping of the bottom of the cup. Also for wiping down untidy table tops.Get real Costa, put the napkins back on the service units. It saves the customers, you know those people that you serve, the hassle of going back to the TIL to request napkins. The counter service on this occasion was glib and dismissive to napkin enquiry, but maybe that was due to being involved in important banter with other ‘Baristas’

There is always a warm welcome here; the staff work well as a team. Sometimes the tables have not been cleared of the debris from the last occupant, but this is more a symptom of a busy, popular coffee shop than institutional neglect. Inside, the seating ranges from low, comfortable armchairs and settees, through "standard" tables and chairs to high chairs facing the long worktop which stretches alongside the window and is a perfect place to perch with a laptop. The Blue Line number 1 bus service stops 40yds south of here, alongside Barclays Bank and outside the Co-Op. The Fryern car park is alongside, with an extension out the back, which leads ito the Co-Op car park; rarely will you fail to find somewhere to park.

I found Lisa to be extremely rude like giving me the vibe as to why am I bothering her to get a drink the girl clearly don’t give one about the store and wants out as soon as possible and making out drinks are not available so she does not want to make dirty store premier coffee that has the franchise needs sacking off with costa as they not fit to run shops everyone in these shops seem nasty etc

This is a welcome addition to Chandlers Ford. I now call it the Hub of our area. It had a lot of stick when it opened causing a local charity coffee shop to close, they had pressure from the stairway bakery but has come out in front, even with Waitrose 200 yards away with free coffee. It is great to see the kids from Thornden School making use of it. Well done. Mike

After visiting this one many times since it opened, it's declined rapidly. Flies swarm round the uncovered cakes (some of which had been attempted to be covered with cling film), the staff (particularly the manager at the time) were rude and disinterested, showing each other videos through headphones behind the counter. Tables never cleared quickly leaving little seating and the floor is filthy with crumbs and napkins. Avoid this place and visit Bayleaves or Marshalls down the road, even ASDAs cafe 5mins away is preferable to this one.

I love Costa- however this store is not up to scratch in my opinion. There is always a queue, the tables are dirty, the fridge is often not stocked. Last week there were fruit flies all over the cakes/pastries. The staff had put cling film over them but it still put me off. The staff are not as friendly or efficient as at other stores plus they do not look smart/clean like staff at other stores. Highly disappointing - I will be avoiding from now on.

I come here quite a bit with my husband. Today the visit was spoilt by 6 noisy teenagers in one corner (who had purchased nothing in Costa by the way) making a mess with straws and napkins and eating their own crisps. Can't believe they weren't told to leave although they were told to be quiet by staff. Which they took no notice of...

As usual, had to wait painfully in a queue until my turn. Not usually a problem but each individual order seemed to have to been completed until mine could be taken.

Don't go to Costa (or another coffee shop) very often as think they are slightly overpriced. This Costa is always busy from opening to closing. Like many coffee chains that open others have closed (charity coffee shop and Stairwell).

Reasonably frequent visits here and yet to see the place quiet. Standard, decent sized Costa with young, friendly staff. If you like Costa, you will like this one.

What can I say every time I see a Costa coffee shop I have to stop and have one, without a doubt the best coffee and they have a new blend which I highly recommend. If you like good coffee in all its forms with a good selection of snacks and pasties then try a Costa shop, and if you subscibe to the loyalty scheme then point rapidly mount up.

This Costa is nicely situated close to local Doctor Surgeries, Waitrose, WH Smith/PO, Coop, Boots and numerous other shops and banks in the Eastleigh Borough Market Town of Chandlers Ford. It is very popular although we usually visit early Saturday mornings before a Waitrose shop.

I ordered my delivery through uber and I've left them 1 star too, whoever packed my food put a hot drink half full not even full and a panini in with cakes so they melted they should have been separated not in together and the panini and drink were stone cold i ended up putting them in the bin due to uber being very late between uber and costa I had to bin half the order as the panini was stale and the drink was pathetic for a medium drink only half full won't be using uber again or going to this costa what a disappointment for the fees you pay

My husband and I booked for lunch, he had The Home run burger and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and I had the crispy chicken sandwich and apple and berry crumble for dessert. The girls behind the bar were well presented, friendly and cheerful. We ordered our drinks and food together, it arrived in no time at all, it was plated nicely and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chips and onion rings were hot and crispy, not greasy at all. The desserts were also piping hot, and totally scrumptious. Sheila was our server today, she so warm and welcoming, really friendly but also professional in her approach. A credit to the company. We can’t wait to return.
