Jagy tonight was brilliant, asked him to make me a strawberry lemonade and made it perfect! He made it so sweet and it had so much flavor, he even told me to try It and let him know if he needs to add more! Brilliant guy really friendly and smiley !

Always clean and tidy. All the staff at Costa always have a smile and a warm welcome, no matter how busy they are.

some guy with black hair didnt bring me the right drink so i asked for his manger he was really nice and understanding about the situation and the issues that i faced in this costa. i would again like to thank the young man for understanding my problems and being ever so nice to me in times of crisis.

Poor food and service in that there were no ceramic cups available for coffee or tea. The reply was “they weren’t doing them” I would willingly wash cups myself to have a proper cup for my beverage it’s the reason. Go to Costa can get a paper cup at Greg’s

I would give 0 star if I could. Barista has very bad attitude. Forgot to make our son’s drink then made a wrong size drink then made another one which was wrong one then eventually made a right drink but boiling hot even after we mentioned it was for our toddler! Didn’t even apologise for all his nonsense. He seemed very annoyed.

Note that the franchisee here, MOTO, not only charges more than a typical Costa on the high street (as might be expected) but ALSO doesn't give or accept Costa rewards – a case of shareholders of a foreign company benefitting at the expense of British consumers once again!! Staff pleasant, but eating area rather drab.

Pleasant server but the Barrista was not up to scratch. When they pulled the shot half missed the cup so it was weak and watery. Truly awful coffee, there is a Costa express machine in WH Smith which will be consistent at least.

As a speciality coffee shop owner i usually avoid Costa... but after a long day i needed caffeine so took a chance... luckily the friendly service from barista Ellie convinced me to try the coffee here. To my pleasant surprise barista Krystella made the best coffee ive had from a costa ever, and even with lovely latte art! 5* all the way 🤜

Staff friendly enough but work with no purpose, recieved hot sandwiches and waited over 10 mins for coffee.Accept that it is a busy time but all young staff, chatting amongst themselves and don't seem to work as a team..

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just up to the usual Costa standard. Plenty of seating, both inside and outside if you want to get away from your car.

I was already in the car when I found out wrong coffee was given, so couldn’t return. Contacted costa customer services to be told a generic “sorry”. When a take out coffee is £3.90, I genuinely think it should be right. Surely it’s not that difficult!

Busy but not overly so, staff appeared in a panic, no sign of supervision. One female member of staff was very sharp with a customer, but was at fault for the error. Seemed to be run by stroppy school children. No cups and saucers, only paper cups, staff stated the dish washer wasn't working but seemed to be couldn't be bothered to collect used crockery due to the slight rush. Plus of course the very high prices. I do visit a lot of Costas. This was not a good visit.

I'm at Costa at Blyth service station on A 1,it clean and spacious, coffee hot and freshly made, love little cat and dog ginger biscuits. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Seats comfy. Children's area.

Just left Costa Coffee at Blyth they seemed to be short staffed my coffee is cold in fact if it wasn't for the big queue I would have taken it back expensive rubbish today usually its OK but awful this trip.

Small services with a Burger King and Costa coffee amongst other facilities. Food was average chain stuff at inflated motorway prices. Toilets were quite smelly,especially the cubicles.

Stopped for a break on journey home. Always have loved a Costa but this one was diabolical! Took them 15 minutes to put our order on till as they kept messing up and then 4 attempts to get our drinks right. 2 were still wrong so just made the comment - can’t wait to get back to our local one! Coffees and chocolates were warm rather than hot and tasteless Staff definitely need retraining in customer service and barista skills Next time will plod on to the next services

Friendly staff serving the big standard coffee that very few continentals enjoy.

Coffee average, area dirty, generally at this service station, toilets dirty, staff not really understanding covid hygiene measures. Wouldn't stop off here again unless absolutely necessary.

Awful coffee. I love costa coffee but this was bitter with no steamed milk - not a Costa latte!!!!!!

They do not always give out the right orders and leave customers confused and broken hearted. It's a common mistake that nows appears to be a foolish decision because its happen more than once

Great facilities only downside is if you stay more than 2 hours its £15 for parking

Visited for a quick stop on the way north. Service was quick, tea ok. Large sitting area with natural light was good, however rather dated and not that clean. Toilet area very dirty. Overall let down by the poor facilities which are below par for motorway services.

Horrible girl with a massive attitude which is unusual for Costa coffee. She was rude, attitude and unhelpful. You ask for a coffee with 1 extra shot and she just confuses ur and starts saying about 3 shots!. Clearly expects customers to know how much coffee is in a coffee and likes to think she is above customers. Snatched cards and then left receipt near the inside of the counter without saying anything. When asked she simply pointed and walked away. Never come across a Costa employee such as her. Even other customers looked horrified by her attitude. She could have quite easily took the order as a coffee with an extra shot, all other staff across the country have no issue with this and understand it and dont start asking if you want 3 shots and how 2 plus 1 makes 3 (yes she actually said that!). Disgusting service.

Our chilled coffee drinks were fine and we got a shady table outside on a sunny day. However, the next morning the Pain Au Chocolate Twists we ordered next morning with our coffees were so dry and we concluded they’d perhaps been sitting around a long time before our purchase. A shame as it had lots of space including outdoors to recommend it.

Services were extremely busy,long queues but soon got served.good tasting coffee & chai tea took the drinks out to the car,carpark was very busy never seen a service area so busy.queues in the loos.lots of places for eatting & drinking here

The coffee was a reliably good, Costa standard. The service was slow, indifferent. No greeting or hello, no smiles, I have a slightly quirky order and I was treated like it was annoying rather than being asked for details. The lass serving wasn't in uniform and there was an open packet of the sweets by the till. Felt unwelcome

Right where shall I start! Love the Costa always great service!! Everyone seems happy, but when i went to use the toilets the RUDEST Cleaning Lady her name is Adele, I have never came across a more rude person, she told me to shut up talking and move as I was trying to wash my hands and talking to my friend, as I was walking out she said Thank F**k for that, i went back and asked her if she had a problem with me, she said "don't like BLACKS" and walks off into a staff area!! This is WHY I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO MOTO THEY ARE RACIST!!!!!

Getting a coffee here when using the nearby Travelodge is ideal. A very quick service and nice to take to our room.

Only 1 Costa instead of 2 but seating area in the services is tired and needs returning especially when Starbucks opens across the road

This is a very busy service station and hence a very busy Costa. And yet, they managed to have all tables clear and provide efficient service with a smile. As an extra point, I heard a member of staff asking somebody if they wanted meat and veg toasties cooked separate. Considering how busy they were, this was professional. I'm not vegetarian and the customer in question clearly wasn't bothered either, but still good to hear.Nice hot skinny flat white as well. Thank you.

Black forest hot chocolate I got today. The staff didn't even tell me they run out of milk. Not happy with it at all!

Polite staff constantly busy as you would be at a service stop. Two counters, one for take away and one for sit in. It is a busy place and only needs a coach to arrive and you have a big line waiting but the staff managed very well and got the job done. The sit in area was clean and tables cleared quickly. No issues getting a seat. As for coffee, well it's a Costa you can't go wrong

Stopped off for sandwich coffee and cake no variety of sandwiches empty shelves when asked was any in back was rudely spoken too and told a blaitent no we quickly got coffee and hot choc which we were charged more than on the board price list all in all would not go back there even if desperate terrible service and attitudes

Popped in to freshen up after driving 150 miles very nicely laid out site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good cup of Cappuccino will definitely use again

Blyth services in Nottinghamshire is small and compact.it doesn't house too many options,however Costa Coffee is one of them.Somehow,all in all it just doesn't give you that true Costa Coffee feel......try and hang on until you reach a Costa Coffee shop!

This is the worst coffee i have ever tasted; no flavour at all - tasteless, lukewarm Cappuccino. Very disappointing and disgusting prices. NEVER AGAIN.

Very poor quality flat white and cortado it is really annoying having to pay extortionate price for coffee when the barista standard is so poor

Stopped for coffee and hot chocolate for kids on way back home after a day out. Ordered two small hot chocolates with marshmallows and cream for kids and a flat white for me. All were at best luke warm. Kids had glugged down their chocolate in seconds saying it was cold but still quite nice. My flat white was so awful I had to take it back to complain. It was taken back grudgingly and a replacement was quite literally pushed at me. The replacement was OK but not on a par with what I'd expect from Costa. No real excuses as they had plenty of staff and the place wasn't busy. Won't be visiting this service area again in a hurry.

Visited here around 1015. Took fully 10 minutes for an Americano to go to be produced by two staff working really in effectually in tandem. When you want to grab a coffee and go you want slick, efficient service. This was not it. Won't use this service again.

I wouldn’t normally leave a review on something such as a coffee shop but honestly sort it out, having arrived at the services there was 4 people in the que and the time it took not only to actually be served but then waiting for our drinks having been served was rediculous! I had an iced Americano with no milk, that’s literally coffee and cold water and it took 15 minutes with 3 members of staff! I thought to myself maybe the first 4 people might have ordered a few drinks this being the reason it took so long to be served but when it was just our drinks we were waiting for it became obvious the staff didn’t care at all! Waiting in total 25 minutes from point of being served to receiving drinks is a joke even more so that out of the TWO drinks we ordered one was wrong, I just smiled and said everything was fine because I really couldn’t be bothered to wait for them to fix the issue another 25 minutes later.

Plenty of seating, pleasant staff, fairly clean, though wasn’t too busy! Told my partner black coffee accidentally but they were fine about giving us a little bit of milk.

Popped in for a flat white coffee which was okay, while getting food at BK,service was okay, staff were friendly. The tables in the main seating areas were a bit of a mess but who is responsible for them?

No tables cleaned and a there was staff from the other shops cleaning up!! Slow service, the staff didn’t know what they were doing!

We passed through Blyth Services on an incredibly busy afternoon and decided to get a couple of Billionaires Lattes for the road. Even though the staff were working their socks off they still found time to smile and be kind. And the coffee were delicious.

Good coffee and enjoyed our bacon sandwich. Staff on duty very helpful and chatty. Not busy so no waiting . Nice and clean .

We stopped here with friends and we were all shocked at the state of the coffee shop. There were several empty tables but the mess on every one was disgusting. Customers were clearing tables on to empty ones nearby so the crockery etc., was piling up. The floor was dirty with slices of tomato, lettuce and bread and one table had tomato sauce smeared all over it. There was no one clearing the mess. I have never visited such an unkempt coffee shop.

We thought we would give this Costa another chance. There is a kiosk adjacent to a main servery both appear to be totally undermanned . This is a very busy service area but that fact seems to have passed management by. Waiting up to 15 mins for a coffee is unacceptable but this is a monopoly situation. Costa coffee is good but service must also be good.

None of the tables had been cleared or wiped. Mess everywhere. Food on the floor. Noisy music. Otherwise it's Costa Coffee.

Stopped for services & decided on a coffee to keep us going. Very welcoming barista who made the best flat white & hot chocolate to wash down our mini shortcakes. We sat in an empty seating area & felt recharged for our journey. Thank you for the service with a smile!

Enjoyed tea and toasted sandwiches- there is no menu nor food cooked to order other than at breakfast time until 11am

Friendly and very helpful staff let down by total lack of gluten free food, other than a brownie. Luckerly we had some gluten free bread in the car which the costa staff agreed to toast a couple of slices....for which we were very grateful. Come on Costa....please make provision for those customers who suffer with coeliac!

Stopped at Blyth Moto Costa Coffee shop. Latte and cappuccino both so weak, probably ¼ of shot of coffee and mostly milk and froth - worst and weakest coffee we have had in years. Then about 15 tables vacant, but only 3 had been cleared.And when tables were cleared, the noise was so loud, it prohibited any attempt to converse.

We called in on bank holiday monday ,the services were heaving even queuing for the mens toilet. Costa coffee appeared to have the monopoly of food and drink so limited in what you could buy. Tables were in desperate need of cleaning. Not a great experience.
