Matt was very happy to help and gave excellent customer service. All three working today were hilarious and definitely need a pay rise. Very organised, very clean, very tolerant. 1/5 reviews done for the day for Matt, good luck on the other 4🤣

Usually there is always good service but today I got served by a guy in bread didn't catch the name, he was very rude and I asked for my 25% off reward because it was the last day to use it which he did not add and said it cannot be changed.I took a frappe with cream absolutely horrible ( did not add cream on top which I asked for as well and it was more of a cold coffee than a frappe.)

Matt & Harry were polite, accommodating & when I said one of the specials was overpoweringly sweet, they replaced it without issue. I've drank endless coffees & their service was totally on point.

The food is usal Costa standard. Good friendly and attentive staff.

the iced americano was okay. But i wondered why Coldbrew wasn't available, alot of better alternatives out there.

Thee driver was three streets away from where I live waiting without any intention of moving even though I was giving him directions through the phone. I ended up going there myself to get my order.

Went in once, expensive and no atmosphere. Try 2 doors up at Melanie,s a good atmosphere, friendly staff and great home cooked food, at reasonable prices. Loved the homemade quiche

I've visited for several weeks now around 9am at the beginning of the week and although it's never that busy at that time, when the two 'lads' are serving, they are really slow to acknowledge you and appear pretty lethargic and fairly unwelcoming to the point that I was seconds away from walking out of the store on my last visit. There is no shortage of other establishments nearby so they need to up their game smartly. The coffee is the usual standard and hot which it should be. The place is spacious and has a few nooks you can hide yourself out of view. A variety of different seating from hard to soft chairs is available but the overall atmosphere is not great.

A spacious Costas lots of room around the tables. If you are concerned about social distancing or want to get a buggy or wheelchair next to a table I would recommend this one. Large windows offer a great location for people spotting too!

So following multiple price rises in one year and increasing the number of beans you need to earn for a free coffee, they have now removed the breakfast deal! Moreover you only get three sausages rather than four so shrinkflation too! This is not a go at the staff here, they are wonderful, but I am almost at the point of giving up on Costa completely.

Ordered two wraps, didn’t request that they would be cooked but were. Never had this issue when ordering wraps before and as a result it was inedible.

Asked for tea without milk and tea with milk was sent I’m actually lactose intolerant

Didn’t have some of the bits left, called me for a replacement, didn’t tell me what they had in so had to guess. then after that painful interaction didn’t bother to send the other items I asked for as a replacement 👍🏻

It's Costa... So what can I say other than that the space has SO much more potential were it an independent. However, it's now my favourite place as it opens early and I can rely on Harry (or other staff, who are also lovely) to give me a warm welcome and a great flat white, and, if you bring your own mug, at a very reasonable price. Unlike other Costa or other major chain branches I have been to (Café Nero, Pret etc) Harry is also very passionate and knowledgeable about coffee which makes this branch worth a visit even if it is Costa!

After ordering from a costa across the road it took 2 1/2 hours to come and ended up with everything that should’ve been cold was hot and everything that should’ve been was hot was cold, I re-ordered from Southsea it took 20 minutes it came perfectly and I will only ever use this Costa again!

Decent Costa branch in Southsea. I don't usually go into Costa as I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I attended a few times last week while I stayed with a friend nearby. The service was quick and the shop is fairly clean and welcoming. Problem is its a little hit and miss in terms of the quality of what you get. The few times I came in recently, I found out the quality depends on what staff member is working, which is frustrating because of cource you're paying the same price each time. A male employee made my friend a decent Frappé, then the next time we came in, a different employee made a watered down cup of nothing. Bit of training is needed here and there it seems.

Staff are all very friendly , dosent matter who is on shift. Fast service never waiting in line too long or for your drink. Hard working team.

Its a Costa Coffee exactly what you would expect.

Typical Costa. Nice seats though and it’s big and airy inside. Nice to spend a few hours there doing some work. The staff are quite slow, but during busy periods they will offer to bring your order to you. Toilets were clean and they had Costa typical range of products.

Thank you for my order the tea and cake was so needed since I've been so poorly, Costa drinks always hit the spot thank you :) also the delivery guy was so welcoming and friendly I would've given him a tip he was a lovely guy I didn't have the money on me, thank you once again.. highly recommended.

It took over 45 minutes to arrive and I ended up paying near £20 for two muffins and two cold cups of coffee. Angry is not the word. Do not order in the morning.

I’ve never made more orders to anywhere over costa Southsea, almost perfect everytime.

Very hit and miss here on the quality of coffee you get served. I always have a Flat White, yet 60% of the time at this shop I get served a very poor milky coffee instead, today being no exception. Please ensure staff are aware of what each coffee type should be served like...the Costa Machine in the Tesco store along the road can be used as a working example as its Flat White is correct 100% of the time!

It's Costa! Generally good, fast service, nice staff, but the Wifi connection is pretty awful if such a thing is important to you.

I rarely get a straw at costa even tho I order a drink that needs a straw and comes in a plastic cup, I do not own straws

This lovely spacious coffee shop is severely let down by the lack of staff. Tables left uncleaned and don’t even get me started on the toilets. I don’t think they’ve been done for quite a while today. There’s enough people out there looking for work, you need more help !!

As always over priced. Try the cafe next door. Much better and food is made on site not like Costa.

Very late and very cold. No contact from anyone. Very poor service. Driver assigned, we waited 1hour for delivery. Drinks cold with no extras that you should get. they have clearly been sat a while and no one has had the sense to remake or follow up on why the order is still sat there an hour after being made. Very poor service all round. Just eat driver didn’t care ‘not my problem’

Luke warm coffee and wrong cake sent, very dissappointing. It's ok to be able to get the item refunded but you should also refund the delivery charge too

Not happy at all. I’ve had to order another costa from a different place and it come within 20mins after waiting over a hour and trying to get my refund as I had to order again from costa in a different area. Absolutely shocking service. I even tried calling but got no answer.

Carrying coffees on your back riding a bicycle can only lead to one problem ... 3 coffees completely emptied out into his bag. Great!!!!

My only complaint is that the green tea ordered had no tea bag in, so, effectively was hot water! Everything else was fab and I understand this was a large order, it was on time and there was no problem with the delivery at all! Unfortunately the order was for volunteers at a charity netball tournament so the lack of tea bag didn’t go down too well!
