Costa Coffee in Calderdale

Visited Costa Coffee Halifax branch. The staff was friendly and generous. Enjoyed the creamy latte.

This was terrible I am so disappointed they didn’t have the right size, they were slow, it was disgusting, they put no sprinkles on! Never again.

Cake was lovely! Hot chocolate was lukewarm but wasn’t really a massive issue still nice!

Hi lunch time Today Visited this caffe and found the staff amazing friendly and professional , clean tables and great food too . Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Missing half the order and the food that did arrive was cold. Absolute joke.

Food bag was clearly opened before it arrived at us and the food was missing.

Came here with my eldest son owen and my youngest son Jack I had a honeycomb latte and a lemon muffin we will be here again soon, had a ginger bread latte.

no creamy mac n cheese ordered 2 wat i don't understand is if u haven't got any den y is it not showin unavailable on da just eat app honestly disappointin was looking forward 2 it as well & now i got 2 claim a refund doubt i will get my money back

Went here with my mum today to have a coffee and cake we were absolutely disgusted starting with the swarm of flies around the cakes and collecting on the roof to the coffee machine which appeared to be collecting chunks of dirt, rust and god knows what else down to the lack of staff no wonder it was so dirty the staff must be so overwhelmed with the customers queuing out the door they don’t have time to wipe things down let alone get everyone served in good time really disappointed as we usually go into brighouse and really enjoy ourselves.

Disappointing customer service. Self superior staff. Will not be returning. Lots of other more friendly places for coffee in Halifax. Lucy's Little Bakehouse, Piece Hall, The Hatch to name a few

Later than expected but still fresh and hot. Wouldn’t put me off ordering again.

I was not happy when I got my mango berry bubble tea because it tasted like nothing and none of them popping pearls And the actual tea tested like really diluted juice and when I asked for them to put more popping pills in, they said no we’ve already done two scoops

Blueberry bubble frappe is sooo good!

food came late i ordered at 12:00 i got it at 1:20 and its was cold

cracking food and great drinks love these frappes that contain them bubbles in them really sweet and tasty

Incredible staff, feel very comfortable in there, because its a pleasant atmosphere. My order is always a frappé and its always amazing. I highly recommend 👌

CREAMY MAC & CHEESE WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SHAME DA KIDS PIZZA HAS DISAPPEARED FROM DA MENU IT WAS A RATHER LOVELY PIZZA.I DIDN'T LIKE DA CARAMELISED RED ONION & MATURE CHEDDAR PIZZETA TRIED IT NOT 2 MY LIKING IF ONLY IT WERE A DIFFERENT FLAVOUR SUCH AS TUNA OR CHEESE AND TOMATO.OVERALL WHENEVER I ORDER FROM COSTA IT IS QUICK.NO ITEMS R EVER MISSING 4 ME.AND THEY HAV AN EXTENSIVE RANGE OF SWEET GOODIES LIKE MUFFINS,CROISSANTS AND CAKES.

Lady who works there called Kim is very rude, cleanliness of the shop however has overall improved

Usually there is a queue in this place and I find that I wait longer to be served compared to other Costa outlets. I'm also finding the prices in all Costa outlets to be excessive.

Food and drink took 2 hours to come and was cold.. I'm a regular customer so would have been better you'd declined me if you were too busy rather than leave me waiting and dissapointed with cold food.

Nice atmosphere but always takes too long to be served. Much prefer Brighouse as better service and friendly staff.

Latte never arrives hot enough to drink Should be hot when being made by Costa disappointed 😞 They should start to prepare the drinks when driver gets to restaurant has there clearly not that needs improving

Items missing from my order, hot chocolate was Cold (rest of the drinks were hot) and was only half full in the cup. And then the driver got lost finding my address which is very easy to find!

Food freezing thrown away, coffee freezing thrown away - horrendous service will never go to Costa again

The chairs are grotty, warn and don't look clean. There were tables with no chairs and no extra on other tables. When buying an overpriced coffee you should get a nice environment to drink it in.

Lovely seasonal sticky toffee latte and great breakfast wrap, great way to start the weekend.

The food took over an hour when estimated delivery was 20-40 mins. When it arrived it was cold, as was coffee

Shabby shop exspenive cup of warm milk

Was an hour and 15 mins late and food was freezing cold

All I could tast was stuffing abit pork don’t no if there was smoked cheese in delivery man was lovely on time toastie not as great as advertised

Only sent one drink from the order and driver just left the bag on the doorstep dripping coffee with a fully spilled coffee cup inside

Left on my door step. Pricked up the bag and it was that wet it split and coffees went everywhere. Also took 1hr to get to me

Excellent grub!!!the best thing that I like from Costa has got to b the creamy mac and cheese now I have tried it elsewhere a few times and hated it costa makes it the best that pizza was delicious and the cakes wow mind blowing so so soft jus how I like them to b and I think having a photo/picture rite next to the item name is rather helpful u can then jus look at it and go yeah I like da look of that or nah thats not 4 me

Missing all my items / Wrong Order

Missing one of two wraps ordered and bubble frap missing bubbles

Was due to be delivered at 8:05-8:25 on ordering, I received the text to say it was on its way at 9:20 and unfortunately 3 out 4 people waiting for drinks had left for work by this time

They restaurant called me saying they have turned the oven off as they close in 10mins so won’t be able to make the order and I should cancel it. It wasn’t showing the option to cancel order as the restaurant had by accident accepted the order and called me after saying they can’t make it.

No sausage sandwiches waited a hour a half

Wrong food sent and its not the first time keep happening no longer will be ordering from Costa

Didn’t deliver the British pork sausage bap or the ham and cheese toastie, says on the receipt that they tried to ring which they didn’t do we got no call at all so are missing £8 worth of food with no possible way to have got a substitute, bang out of order.

Delivery guy brilliant went out of his way to deliver

Food was cold and barely any of the just cooked bacon. No extra shot as paid for. Second order this week from here and second issue. Never used to have an issue

Paid for a large coffee and got a normal small one absolute rip off

Order was about half correct. 2 sandwiches wrong, 2 drinks missing, 1 drink received I didn’t order. Cakes were fine though.

Bag was wet and everything fell out as driver got it out of the car !!! He was apologetic and coffee was refunded by Immediately , thank you for refund

Order couldn’t be accepted by Costa, they advised me to get a refund through just eat but no option for refund.

I went with my mum and I must say that although I've never been I must come again! The food was spectacular and there was a lot of choices for drinks to fit everyone's taste.The staff are great and the environment is just perfect I will come again!

Ordered 4 hot chocolates and paid over a fiver for each with cream, flake and marshmallows. Literally got 2 single marshmallows and a flake to share between us all. So upset as I work for the NHS and me and my colleagues were so excited for a midweek treat

Word of advance. Dont put chocolate on top of hot drinks....they melt....which is what happened when arrived.

Tried to go online app to contact Costa coffee until last part which is date of time you putting complaint in .then tells you you are not doing it right ..I know the date it's the day before my birthday ..ffs ...absolute waste of time and space .trying to cancel a £3 too good to go order is like mission impossible ...absolute joke of a system ...

Sandwiches were cold when arrived. The cheese and tomato toastie is actually cheese and tomato paste which isn't mentioned on the menu.

It was really good I enjoyed it a lot and the meal was so good and fresh wow

I ordered cream and it didn't come with cream, non dairy milk doesn't necessarily mean I'm dairy free.

Lliving in Halifax I used to visit this Costa Coffee regularly but the standard of customer service at the moment is in dire need of improvement. On my last but one visit I was left waiting to be served being totally ignored by the staff who were chatting amongst themselves, in the end I just walked out. On my very last visit one day last week I ordered a tea and was given what I believe was a latte, when I pointed out that I don't drink coffee and therefore would never order one, the server tutted and very reluctantly replaced the latte. There was no offer to refund the difference in price between the tea and the coffee, but I would have been quite happy with a simple apology, however that was not forthcoming from the rude and unfriendly member of staff who served me. In future I will be visiting one of the many other local cafes where the staff apprecciate customers rather than treating them as a nuisance,

Asked for no cream on both, and both had cream.

The delivery driver didn't even deliver to my address delivered to the wrong street and the poor person who lived at that address had to bring it to me it's absolutely disgusting lazy driver!

Asked for a Cappuccino and was given a Latte then told to move away from the counter whilst they serve other customers, in the end just took the drink as was kept waiting, staff rude and will not visit again

It was lovely and relaxing. I had an M&S vegan salad and a vegan brownie and flat white coffee with soya. Expensive but yummy. I will go again for a treat .
