Costa Coffee in Ashford

Where do I begin with this one? I no longer frequent this Costa branch. Instead, I have started buying my coffee from The Coffee Shed at Coachworks, which is just a two-minute walk away. The coffee there is cheaper, quicker, and of better quality. The staff at this Costa are generally uninspiring, possibly because they are understaffed. When they do have enough staff, one seems to wander around aimlessly, looking for paperwork to do. The opening hours appear to change continuously. The coffee quality is inconsistent, and the food shelves seem to be perpetually understocked. Overall, I used to be a daily customer, but now I don’t visit at all. It’s simply not worth spending my money here anymore.

I often get a drink here before I get my train. The staff are always so so lovely and kind Drinks and food are always amazing

Don't buy the overpriced coffee here, instead walk a few minutes across the road to ‘The Coffee Shed’ (type into Google Maps or Apple Maps for directions, it's very nearby). Save yourself some money!

This Costa is beside the ticket hall of Ashford International Station, outside the ticket barrier. There is some seating here, with a view of some portakabins outside. Note that there are two other coffee outlets in the station inside the ticket barrier, on platforms 1-2 and 5-6.

This gets busy at peak times but the staff are always very friendly and efficient

Ordered 2x Tropical Mango Bubble Frappé for delivery and this is what was made and delivered. No straws included. I don’t know what these are, they’re definitely not what I ordered. For safety sake we didn’t bother drinking it. Absolutely appalling! They went down the drain.

Ordered 4 coffees. From ordering to waiting for the drinks seemed to take a long time. Other customers who ordered well after us getting served first. No other customers seemed to know which drink was theirs, we all just had to guess. Our group were given the completely wrong order. Had to eventually rush for our train so couldn’t wait for the correct drinks. Absolute chaos, no management, no organisation.

Pretty rubbish at getting the orders right. Ordered a delivery order comprising of 1 x Red Summer Berries (wasn't on delivery), 1 x Hot Chocolate with Caramel Syrup (no Syrup) and 1 x Skinny Latte (this had the Syrup in which I hate). I do appreciate the alternatives they sent us in relation to the food but it would have been nice to have the right drinks. I have tried calling them on two different numbers but one doesn't get answered and the other is constantly engaged.

They have teamed up with the train station to offer the nation's favourite coffee shop, locally to where ever you maybe standing. I recommend you pop in before your train journey as sometimes train journeys can be boring so why not having something exciting to keep you engaged. There baristas are waiting to handcraft your favourite coffee for you and serve it with some of our delicious food. Just in time for your train departure. That’s surely how i experienced it on journey last week

Lazy staff ,dirty tables and good coffee it's 11am

Very poor service coffee rubbish. Again it's cold, If I wanted a cold coffee then I would ask for one.

Costa Pronto? Define pronto. Not the liveliest of staff this morning 🙄

Lovely coffee and a well presented store. Looks like it can get quite busy but the staff managed it well.

Door has been broken for 3 months and still no sign of repair

Was my first visit in Ashford, was a rainy cold afternoon at the end of Spring and i dropped in Costa looking for a lovely cup of hot drink. There where 2 lovely girls behind the counter and 4-5 customers. Although was 20 minutes to the closure, they welcomed me and served with care and kindness ( it doesn't happen often... unfortunately). The hot chocolate was perfect. The toilet was sparkly. Every thing tidy and clean with care. They also help me to find a charger for my phone. Well done girls! If I will drop in Asford again, I know already where to go for a lovely hot chocolate and nice atmosphere.

Sticky tables. Fruit flies in warm weather

Needs to open much earlier to catch the early commuters. Some of the staff are not the most friendliest and lack customer service skills. Better than the stations own brand but Starbucks beat both

Coffee is nice as you expect from the brand. The barista maestro, is bit arrogant, not the best customer service.

This is a very busy Costa expect a wait but the coffee is definately worth he wait. There is seating as part of the station which can be cold... or hot depending on the month.
