pizza bases were very doghy, not what we would expect from pizza express.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful Manager who remembered us from a previous visit. The pizzas were delicious having been cooked to perfection and were served in a polite and friendly way. This Pizza Express has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that is down to the professionalism of all the staff. We will certainly return soon.

It was totally the wrong order. We ordered 3 pizzas and instead we got cabonara pasta and peperonata pasta.

Pizza express is always my go to when I go back to England and it never disappoints! Amazing pizza and great service, although it's quite expensive but I still love it.

Pizza was not cut at all lol and my drink was missing . Payed £2.60 and when trying to call 6 times there was no answer

really let down. pay for extra toppings on a creater your own pizza. mainly just cheese 4 anchovies on pizza. 5 tiny bits of pepperoni and some ham. cost £23 ridiculous

Pizza was tasty, hot and very much enjoyed. Child's drink carton had expanded and tasted horrible, surprised the restaurant included it, as was obviously not right.

A lovely meal with my son and his friend. The server was lovely and friendly and the food was fabulous. The boys had piccolo pizza deal - dough balls and margarita pizza. I had the pollo pesto pasta- a huge bowl or tastey pasta. Lots of lovely chicken pieces. A lovely meal all round.

Pasta was undercooked, tasteless and cold. Delivery driver was rude. Apparently he’s tried to call me and it wouldn’t connect so he had a go at me and practically threw the bag of cold food at me. I’m only in town for work so if he had struggled to find the address I doubt I could have helped him. Either way, unprofessional.

Very friendly staff, great service and prefer this pizza express for atmosphere. However the Romana Spicy Guiseppe had hardly any base sauce or cheese on it so in the end it felt like I was eating an extremely thin wrap and had to get something to eat when I got home. I’m not sure if this is because it’s a romana but a bit deceptive. Dough balls, great as always.

One of the over hyped average pizza venture. Everytime when we order the same thing it tastes different every time. So much overhyped overpriced pizza. Just worst. Even if we pay for a garlic spread they are giving you some cheap butter.dont know what these guys are doing.

Unfortunately the food was very cold on arrival, and the dough balls were burnt. We had to reheat the pizzas.

Very good service by Beth who served us very quickly and was very nice to us and our kids. The food came very fast and was delicious made by the amazing Laura.

Ordered nearly £70 worth of food and it turned up 20 minutes later stone cold and two of the pizzas still had raw dough. Doughballs were burnt and cold. The pollo was a joke and looked like it was somebody’s leftovers. Will never be getting food here again and when you try to contact them about it they completely ignore you

Staff on the whole, very friendly and helpful. Small mix up with kids food but was very swiftly rectified and didn’t impact our visit. Only really mentioning as a positive because it was dealt with so promptly that my 8yo didn’t even notice. Food was also extremely tasty. Our waitress was really lovely and efficient and great at building a rapport even with the kids. Handled my kids menu adjustments and wife’s gluten allergy with easy, confidence and understanding. Really nice visit, thank you!

Food was ice cold, looked like it had been sat on the side for a while

Pizza is VERY dry. I can’t see any sauce on it. Had to get the ketchup out. Also ‘romana’ was supposed to be ‘thinner and crisper’. It was definitely thinner but had no crispy aspect at all. The supposedly hot green peppers tasted like pieces of dried up cabbage and looked like it. Disappointed considering the top level price.

In need of some renovation. Our server was excellent and kind but the decor is tired, the tables weathered and the chairs worn. Food was ok.

Always a family favourite. Service is good and staff are always helpful. The food is great here too. Having been to other branches this is our favourite. Close to a carpark. Would definitely recommend this branch of pizza express.

Having gone to two pubs, neither of which were serving food, we were running out of options. Fortunately we bowled into Pizza Express. And it was a great night. Prompt and polite service, lovely setting, great wine (Argentine Malbec) and the food was great. High quality and good-size serves. Big thankyou to our waitress Jasmine. She looked after us really well. We'll be back.

We love pizza express. The late delivery meant the pizza was cold - on the hottest day of the year! It was much later than 5 minutes late but the app won’t let me move the time

I went into this establishment not expecting much but was appalled to discover that the standards of food had slipped so far and the price mark had jumped so high - it was absolutely bonkers. If you want a great pizza, do not go here, if you want great wine, do not go here, if you want soggy calamari, go here. That is all folks.

The staff and food were quite excellent. The premises themselves must be due refurbishment in side and out. A deepclean, and fresh coat of paint would not go amiss.

My husband and I visited here yesterday we had visited a couple of months ago and were disappointed with the bad service so we thought we would give them another try. Megan our waitress was excellent she gave us her undivided attention and made sure I was looked after because of a food allergy I had. Our drinks were quickly brought to us and our food too the food was hot and very tasty the chef even changed what I ordered to cater for my allergy. When I thanked Megan and asked her name she informed me that this was only her second shift I said to my husband she has been trained well and had taken to it like a duck to water. We shall be returning she is an asset to Pizza Express a big thank you to one and all.

I simply love this place for their most caring and ever smiling staff. They greet you very warm and take care of you till you leave. Extraordinary temperament with very friendly gestures. Food is great and seating arrangements are cozy n comfy ..I would love to go again n again ..

I placed the order shortly after 17:30 to be delivered by 18:45 which should have given the restaurant enough notice to ensure it arrived on time and hot - it actually arrived 19:45 and the food was only lukewarm, the pizza's were also not cut properly into slices as we expected - overall it was pretty much the worst experience we've ever had with Just Eat which was extremely disappointing as we love Pizza Express pizza's.

My husband and I went here recently it wasn’t busy as there were only 3 other tables inside which had people at plus 3 tables outside. We were shown to our table and given menus. We waited at least 15 to 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks we finally placed our drinks order and also our food order. By the time we received our first course there were only 2 tables left with customers including ours then once we had our main course we were the only ones left. We waited quite sometime for our plates to be removed then my husband asked for the desert menu. Once he ordered it he waited and waited it was becoming busier by then but there were plenty of staff all in all the service was bad considering that they weren’t busy we have visited here quite a few times and have never had bad service before. On a positive note we enjoyed our meals the pizza I chose was the best pizza I have had it was delicious. Come on Pizza Express you can do better.

I really love this restaurant and order the pasta alot. Had my normal pasta but via delivery and when you pay £14 for a dish that you know is of ample amount in the restaurant but turns up not even full in a foil carton, it's very disappointing! A few mouthfuls and it was gone.

Wasn't happy with meal. It was completely different to last time I'm guessing different chef. The egg came boiled and cut in chunks on pizza not like normal u have egg in middle. Was not tasty and I got extra thin base rather than base I ordered. Not happy

Booked a table for 4 friends . One person had a voucher so we went for the 2 course option Dough balls tasty starter . Pizzas came enormous but delicious ! One person was GF which was well catered for The issue was paying using the voucher only worked for 1 so we all downloaded the app but then bill couldn’t be amended not that the manager tried very hard This could really effect people if they don’t end up paying what they expect the bill to be

Lovely meal shame most of the team serving went on break leaving 1 poor waitress serving the whole busy restaurant and we waited an age to get dessert. Shame it spoilt a beautiful meal as my kids were getting very frustrated!

Visited today with my wife and son for a little early lunch, the staff where fantastic, positive young front of house with a smile, food was faultless, for a chain I was very impressed, and they dealt with a troublesome (bloody vile) customer calmly and smoothly, well done ladies, we will see you again soon! What a disgrace. Ordered 2 pizzas. The Pandana was so thin you could actually see through it!! I think they forgot to put goats cheese on it as it was just spinach and large chunky slices of red onion. Totally lost any finess and just tasted of onion and spinach. So disappointed. The margarita was just as bad being virtually see through. I have never had a pizza so so thin in my life but they have really scrimped in the toppings. It was liked they just smear the lightest touch of tomato on them and a slight sprinkle of cheese. With dough balls that were under cooked it was a total waste of nearly £35.... whilst I hate to give a bad review I felt I had to be honest. Do not do takeaway as you don’t realise there is a problem till you are home and by then you are no going back to complain. I would have complained about whole meal if I had been in restaurant. No wonder it was empty at 8.30pm on a Saturday night. Shame on you cutting corners pizza express.

We had our sons 7th birthday party here last week and it was brilliant. We would definitely recommend.

My husband called to book a table for two half an hour earlier - everthing fine. When we reached there the local was half empty and still the waitress wanted to give us a table for two where the space was minimal and there was a group of ladies celebrating something. When my husband as for an other table we had to wait to get the approval. We order passionfruit still lemonade - the glasses were filled with ice up to the top and the actual drink was less than a half of glass. Bare in mine outside were below 0 degrees. Our mistake that we forgot to say no ice. The food - we were not impressed at all. My husband pizza wasn't what he expected and the taste could be way better and his pasta were delicious but some of them were burnt and you can actually see it in the pictures attached. Also my pizza was supposed to be with mushrooms, ham and olives, however I had just one olive on each slide of pizza I counted 7 in total. About the staff - they were friendly and caring with probably the regular costumers, but we were treated distant and cold. Overall, we were both disappointed with this restaurant. I personally don't recomand it and I also believe that two stars are too much I would say 1.5 and my husband would rated at 1.

Perfect place for family dinner

Food was lovely but there was a mix up somewhere and we waited an hour between starter and main (we also waited 25 mins for the starter) but they did give us a free beer. Our main server was lovely and couldn't be more apologetic but I think it may have been the kitchen? Not sure.

Driver was lovely, gave me a ring as he was approaching which was appreciated!

The woman who served us was so lovely. Very helpful and friendly and pointed us toward the app, so we saved a lot on our meal. Pizza was delicious, Calamari very tasty and a really good glass of red. Will definitely use this restaurant more often.

Absolutely wonderful waitress yesterday evening very attentive knowledgeable and friendly

We have been going here for the last 14 years on Christmas Eve. We save up our Tesco club card points all year. We are a family of 7 so can't afford a meal often. We have never been disappointed so we decided to visit again on July 17th. It was the best ever! Beautifully clean, fantastic service and such delicious food. Cannot wait for Christmas Eve again. Only improvement would be to be able to book our favourite table upstairs instead of the window table downstairs. Great vegan food.

The lady that served us (jasmine)was very attentive and helpful and helped with our special requests and dealt with our send backs well was just let down by the so called chef. The food was not up to the usual standard that we have enjoyed here before , Both pizzas we ordered was undercooked with dough undercooked and the “crispy “ base far from crispy I hate to ever mention or play this card but I’ve been a chef for 19 years and a head chef for many of those and in places that have served pizzas but i know it just wasn’t right both times at all food wise the nearly £7 dough balls were just microwaved with some cheese on , calamari was under fried pizzas as I said were undercooked and my sons cesar salad was just bulked up with bruised roquet. Not to get to much change from £100 for 3 of us (did have some overpriced drinks) you expect it to be much better , again jasmine was great and seemed to just accept that a complaint was coming as another table complained it shouldn’t be like that we need to make sure the foh staff are not in the firing line with issues that are not there fault that’s why I didn’t complain as much as I possibly should of. Sorry for the rant

I've been to two different pizza express restaurants now and there basically the same the staff are very friendly and professional, I always have my own pizza made just how I like it, and at both restaurants it's always what I've ordered, ok sometimes the toppings are abit more or less than last time but that's what I like about my own made up pizza I go for the margarita with what ever base and then bbq sauce with added ham ,peppers,red onion, pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese, you should really try it every time it comes out to my table I get people including the staff saying how lovely it looks and smells, so please if you do take the plunge and try put a like on this page so I know what people think, I highly recommend eating in any pizza express restaurants

Went here as a large group. We were well catered for and had our own dining space upstairs. Staff were friendly and efficient.

A little on the expensive side for pizza but the food is well worth the cost, this is the best place to go for pizza in Ashford.

We eat here every couple of months and we’re never disappointed with the food and service. The prices have increased a bit, but that’s the same everywhere. Food is always fresh and very tasty. They also have a good app for rewards each time you visit. This restaurant is based in Ashford town, not the one at the outlet. I much prefer this location as it’s quieter and friendlier.

Very friendly staff, put up with our toddlerist showing much patience. Food the usual for Pizza Express, done well. Service fast and friendly. Couple of outside tables on quiet street if it's a nice evening.
