Costa Coffee in Cheshire West and Chester

Loved my visit to Costa frodsham, lovely food and coffee, lovely staff. Worth a visit if yr in the area

Dirty. Tables rarely cleared. Litter and food waste on the floor. Drinks served in plastic cups. Too expensive not to be in pot cups. Staff either grossly overworked or lazy ?

Friendly and efficient this morning. Good coffee. Actually a 👍 place to sit and watch the world go by!

A special mention to the 2 girls working this morning who, despite being far too busy for 2 people, still provided friendly service with a smile whilst attempting to serve, make drinks, heat food, clear tables for a full cafe and wash up!!

Dirty! Filthy seats that I didn't want to have to sit on. The upholstery on the seats was filthy the last time I went into this costa a few years ago & they look like they haven't been cleaned since. Very expensive for a couple of toasties and a coffee.

Nice stop off when on a ride from Chester. Refuelled with a Bakewell tart and a coffee. Both deeeelish. Nice outside, roadside seating when the weather's decent

Great place, where I use things every day. But the staff here are not friendly, frustration appeared on their faces when I asked for food or drinks. Don't come here when you're not having fun

Nice, friendly staff who are there to help and make you feel welcomed.

Nowhere near as good as the one in Shopping City Runcorn.That has a lovely friendly bubbly atmosphere as Staff are so welcoming .No longer any m and s food available in Frodsham.There is in Runcorn which is a huge advantage.Not really an enjoyable experience whereas Runcorn one is great.

It is very relaxing and an ambulant temperature 🌡 😌

Coffee at the end of the day with a friend. Not too busy and a lovely way to end the day.

Efficient friendly staff, comfortable sofa to lounge on, air conditioning, pleasant atmosphere, clean environment. Good selection of hit and cold beverages available. I had a Berry infusion which was very tasty, Some seating outside which is very close to the road so not ideal for small children or pets without a leash unless they are very obedient. Parking available at eddisbury Square but this has a time limit with expensive parking fine if you go over your limit so make sure you checked your parking time correctly. Snacks available, though more vegan options should be made available as this is extremely limited. Two toilets available with good visibility from seating areas, this is a bonus to keep an eye on children practicing their independence while parents can keep a constant eye on them. WiFi available. A pleasant place to have a cuppa and a natter with friends and family while watching the world go by.

I hadn’t been to Costa coffee Frodsham for a while, When I called in for a coffee last week it was like I had never been away, I felt safe, welcome and comfortable. All staffs are happy and offer great customer service with a smile and of course make a lovely cup of coffee 😊 It was also really lovely seeing people meet up in groups or families and enjoying a catch up or some good conversation. Great community atmosphere 🙏

Love this costa coffee in Frodsham .The staff are friendly and a nice clean place.

Went about an hour before closing and there wasn’t much selection it seemed as it they had just put all the cakes away which I understand they need to do but there was like an hour left so to me just not worth it.

We visit here on a Sunday morning as there are no viable options at that time of the morning. We always get the impression that a good deep clean of the establishment would do it the world of good. We are in just after it opens so it is not like the crumbs down the back of the seats have just got there.

Great local pub with a good selection of Ale's. A number of tables spread out in 4 area's. Food not always available in the evening. Great staff!

Busy as town light switch on! Would have preferred mugs and glasses but understand it was easier to use disposable cups.

I enjoyed a nice huge coffee and delicious cake while making use of the free Internet access to catch up with some work.

Usual Costa experience, good staff nice coffee and a teacake. Sat in the morning sun on the pavement outside. Lovely.

We were going to sit outside but it started to rain I ordered our drinks and went to join my partner we were having a chat and drip drip we were sitting under the air conditioning and it started to leak I told 2 members of staff not helpful about it we just moved had our drinks and left

No tables were sanitised after customers left. So much for careing for your customers!

Would have got 5 stars but staff were a little short (not in height) might have been tired as towards end of day.

A bit dowdy, but otherwise on par regarding service and price with other costs. Parking in local area is not too good.

If this is the one in Frodsham was comfortable and the coffee was great.

If you like Costa, you know what you are getting. I prefer it over other chains personally and this Costa is a good example of a well run franchise from what I can see. The products are up to scratch and the service is friendly and helpful.

A Sunday morning and very busy but 4 memebers of staff were doing a brilliant job. Extremely well mannered and well presented and friendly. Very efficient. Place was cosy and clean and tidy including the toilets. I have a problem in all coffee shops etc where parents bring in young children who cant behave or cry continually. Surely we go to these places to relax not listen to kids. I am old but am sick of it and it seems others think similarly not just the old !! Food and drink as per the norm for Costa.

Pleasant staff, free parking and plenty of seating. They welcome walkers which not all in the area seem too.

While waiting to meet friends we decided to have a wander around and drop into Costa for a quick coffee and I'm pleased we did. Nice clean surroundings, good selection of snacks. Staff need to be a little more pleasant (try smiling occasionally) but the coffee is what makes it.

Handy when your train is delayed! Great hot chocolate, if a bit pricey. Good value toast for breakfast.

Standard Costa place, no drive thru.. Parking behind the shop or further up the road on Eddisbury Square. Staff here are quick and its friendly. Theres always a lot of mums in with babys around the couches at the back of the shop. Toilets are clean.

One of my fave local cafe's. Can sit in nice chilled surroundings inside or if weather is dry sit outside and watch the town folk go about their business while you enjoy a lovely coffee and maybe a bite to eat.

Nipped in with a friend to have a coffee, the coffee and cake were nice but the place looked like it needed a good clean the table was dirty wouldn't go in again if I'm honest.

Visited for the 1st time on a Friday morning and was very impressed. A lovely spacious seating area and lovely friendly staff and delicious drinks. I was even cheeky enough to get a sample of chocolate shortbread.

When u drive round the country its always good to see a Costa. On Sunday Frodsham town centre was mainly closed apart from this coffee shop. It was almost like it had turned into a community centre, the place full of people with children drawing and playing. Plenty of tables and chairs to relax at and enjoy the lovely coffees on offer. It's always a bit pricey but it's lovely to visit now and again.

We visited on a Sunday the shop was very busy we ordered 4x drinks one being a milky coffee... Only to be served the fullest cup of Americano with no milk so had to ask! A running club shortly came in after us making the 2 toilets available busy for customers already inside.

Ok but their machine didn't like my Amex card using Google pay, every other shop likes it ok

Not cheap, but its a Costa. And i like Costa.

To be fair this seems more generic to Costa as a whole than this particular branch so feels a bit unfair to complain. However the Christmas drinks disappoint me every year. The flavours always sound and look great. Tried the Praline and cream latte with soya milk, but with the cream topping still (I just try to reduce dairy where possible). It tasted barely any different to a normal latte - just a lot more expensive! It was OK to drink, but wasn't what I hoped for. Seems like false advertising cashing in on Christmas - I won't be doing it again. It was busy continually but the staff were friendly, quick and attentive to my order - soya praline and cream latte, but with the cream topping (I'm just keen to reduce dairy intake). The place itself was clean with a nice vibe. The cake selection was good as always but didn't have any today. Will stick to a regular order maybe.

Called here a few months ago and the place was a mess food on the floor and tables full with empty cups etc. Visited today and a completely different whether they have new staff I don't know but would recommend on today's visit. Their coffee is good and they have nice seating outside.

I only quikylee stoped to get a coffee before getting the train and the service was very fast I was out within 2 mins and the staffe were bissy but polight the only thing I would say was the tolets were out of order exeped for that amazing!!!!

Poor customer service, trays dirty, cutlery stained.

At the time that I went (10 a.m. on a Wednesday) it was very crowded and noisy with groups of mothers with young children, blocking most of the shop with buggys/ prams/ bags/ etc. Not Costa's fault but it made the visit unpleasant for anyone else.

Sitting outside in the sunshine 🌞 stopped off for coffee and a hot almond croissant 🥐. Nice helpful staff, free Wi-fi.

The best Costa around, the staff are really friendly and lovely and always make you feel welcome. Drinks are made well and seating is plentiful.

Manageress was awful ! Would be better suited as a prison warden.. Manageress was taking orders with suppressed attitude that showed, poor young girl alone completing the orders was being put under loads of pressure, in an almost bullying manner ! Felt so sorry for the poor pass . Shame on you Manageress who is also in that position to mentor theses youngsters.
