Rude rude rude and very aggressive attitude towards customers

Lovely staff but unfortunately I’ve been noticing many costas at the minute have the same issue, they don’t cover the food meaning flies are crawling all over pastries and cakes.

Costa’s are all the same in terms of how the coffee tastes and this one is no different. The reason I’m leaving a review is because this is the 3rd time I’ve been on this branch and been treated disrespectfully from the same member of stuff who probably doesn’t really want to work there but they shouldn’t take it out on paying customers.

The barristas are friendly and pleasant.. Unfortunately the tuna melt toast has a terrible taste, and is very overpriced for that low level.

Great staff here and the Muslim lady was brilliant, friendly and super helpful.

Went to get coffee today at 16:45 shop closes at 17:00 as stated on their own Easter opening hours on the door and they said they wouldn't serve.

They are super friendly. Pro active offer a great service and always happy coming here on my own to study. They are always connecting with people to encourage them to come in for a coffee and sharing info about new arrivals on the menu. They are always happy and cheerful. They really deserve to be on top ££ pay and any establishment would be lucky to have them. In a day and age where service is sub standard these gents stand out. Watch out Costa Cookham there are lots of eateries in Cookham who could snap them up.

Some staffs are friendly but others are not… today the female staffs did not ask me the size of coffee/if I would like chocolate for my cappuccino. Maybe because I’m an East Asian or they were too busy for cleaning but it made me sad 😔

I felt so sorry for the staff today, clearly very short of people. They were very pushed to clear tables and serve at the same time. Please Head Office help them out, they were still smiling as always . I just didn't appreciate the narky customers at the till giving them comments.

Nice coffee and a good choice of sandwiches, paninis and cakes. We often 'eat in' as I have the baby with me, but its often super crammed downstairs! Not sure why upstairs isn't open more often as this would make this place so much better!! Staff always very friendly. Just open the upstairs please!!!

Went back to Costa Maidenhead after 2 years. I thought maybe the atmosphere has changed. While most Costa coffee’s has better atmosphere after few changes inside the Maidenhead one is still the same for few years now! The smell inside still the same !! My daughter had a chocolate babychino which it was cold and when asked the lady she said we don’t serve it hot , yes but can’t be too hot but I can’t be cold either. I’m sure she didn’t make it fresh but poured the left over! Then she just warmed a bit and my daughter didn’t drink it because it wasn’t nice. She always has chocolate babychino in other places but never complained. We both had tomato and mozzarella panini and that either wasn’t warm enough ( never happened before in other places ) but we just ate it like that . Latte and Cortado was nice though. I wouldn’t go back anymore to be honest!!

Nice coffee with ver6 good service and food

Stopped at this Costa café after a long walk from Maidenhead and wish we hadn’t. The gentleman serving was impatient at explaining something to an elderly couple. When was our turn my husband asked if they had cakes (normally he would have a carrot cake with his coffee at another Costa café) the guy rudely replied” this what we have, no other cakes” it was the manner he answered and like I said he was impatient and rude the couple before us. The lady maki g the coffees were lovely and very polite maybe the guy should have some lessons with her. Needless, to say we won’t be back to this Costa coffee anymore.

The girls work so hard here to serve you your food and coffees. Always busy here that’s how good it is!

All the staff greet you with a smile ☺ certainly makes you feel wanted...and my single shot cortado is just sublime.... What more could any man want x tried the blueberry frappe today for a change as it's was a warm day...... ♥ Another little gem in the making 10/10 x

Costa latte and hot chocolate was brilliant and chocolate muffins gorgeous.

Lack of space but upstairs seating not opened. Pleasant barista. Grubby tables.

Upstairs still seems to be closed, so was very busy downstairs and not possible to find an electrical socket. Other than that, all good with professional and friendly staff.

I walked in with my 5 year old to be welcomed by a woman name Melissa swearing in polish whilst mopping the floor! (yes i can understand Polish!) I ignored this and proceeded to pick up a few panini's and make my way to the counter to be served by an extremely rude Katalina. I placed the panini's on the counter to be warmed up and recieved a phone call from my wife requesting I buy a few hot chocolates. Whilst on the phone my 5yr old asked Katalina if they had her favourite mint choc chip drink to which she very rudely ignored my child and just pointed at the menu!! Whilst on the phone, Katalina instead of warming my panini's up has proceeded to just stand there and say to her colleague how she thought Im rude as Im on the phone and that she doesn't want to serve me! My phone call lasted all of 30 secs!! Once off the phone i questioned her as to why she doesn't wish to serve me and why she ignored my child's question, to which I was just given a load of attitude and told I was being abusive. I maintained a professional stature throughout this conversation but was horrified at the behaviour and disgusting attitude!! One of the responses I got from one of the three girls at the counter was "you just don't know what triggers people off". I mean what on earth is going on with the staff here...I am not there to trigger anyone but just wanted to get my family a bite to eat and drink. I will never return to this store again!! Absolutely horrified at how these members of staff are let loose on a shop floor!! To top it off they got the drinks order wrong even after I confirmed at the end what drinks I had requested!

What can I say about this place!! costa coffee is costa coffee. It's their service, which makes it stand out from others. Kasia the Manager is very welcoming personality! Bailey is always nice !!! VANESSA-Gabi and kasia they always spot on for customer service they deserve 6 stars if I could rate it more well-done guys🙂.

Coffee not great here. I had a drink in and Coffee was watery and had a bitter aftertaste. Worst croissant I've ever had.

The treatment was very bad, they were very unpleasant, I asked for take in, and they gave me take away. When I told them that it was take in, they answered me very unpleasantly. I'm not coming back any more.

Not great. The coffee was cold. The cake I ordered was dry. Nobody was out clearing tables. Customers were doing it themselves. Expensive compared to other coffee shops. Won’t be back there I’m afraid

It's a nice cafe in Maidenhead. Quite a lot of breakfast options to choose from. Service is good, price is affordable. Their lattes are very nice

Best place for a coffee on the run !

Oh such incredibly slow service 🙄. Staff r very nice but nowhere near enough of them. The queue was almost out of the door. Every time it seems the same & just as bad at the Bishop's Centre Costa.

I must give five stars to this coffee shop! There are several points for the customer service and the staffs were performing extremely well. The service was fast and staffs were polite, the floors and tables were cleaned as soon as the customers left the tables, the place was kept immaculately clean and so were the toilets!

Had a very pleasant visit today staff were very helpful and friendly.

I ordered my drink and asked for no cream the lady went and gave me cream and I asked her if she could make me another she said ok she then went and made my drink and when I received it the drink was half full and there was a massive chunk of ice which filled most of the cup. I am completely outraged by this and quite honestly this is the worst Costa I have been to. Please sort this out because it is not ok. I did take a picture of the ice so I do have proof.

Doesn't appear Covid secure at all! Didn't take care with cross contamination and gave me dairy milk when I specified coconut milk. Disappointed.

I love Costa coffee on the high street, whenever I step in I get a lovely greeting from the staff ! My favourite place , great coffee great service at all times. It’s clean and the tables are sanitised super quickly. Very fast service ! As I go so often I get recognised and it does make my day !! Thank you 🙏

Costa is Costa, not many tables in this one and a bit dark inside, but ok and friendly staff.

The only Costa in the town centre. Nice, but frequently has long queues and it's not always possible to find a free table, made worse by social distancing. They need a bigger premises and, with all the empty units on the high street, some of which are already outfitted for a coffee shop, I don't know why they don't make the move.

Can sit down to have a drink either inside or out. Upstairs is closed due to you know what. Only downside was the internet connection did not work with my laptop. I had hoped to get some internet time.

The service was slow and they took ages to adapt to the growing queue for coffee and food. The layout of the food/coffee prep area wasn't right. I don't want to go there again. Youre just left hanging. Staff were polite but not personable, unless you were a friend.

Ordered with uber DB492, ordered a pork and apple sausage roll and got a sausage in a roll, ordered a smoothie energise and got a small kids smoothie, not ordering again from them

Based on the app, website and Google opening times we arrived at 6 45 am to have a coffee to be told to come back later. The response from the guys inside made us feel stupid as if how do you not know. Update your website and app before just assuming.

16:30 PM. Me and my girlfriend entered the Maidenhead High Street shop and were having a look on the menu boards, trying to decide what to get. A young lady (Vanessa) comes down the counter and with a disgusted look on her face asked us “So what’s it going to be?” , only 30 seconds after we walked in. I then asked her whether we can have a bit of time to look at the cold drinks and decide and she walked off right after, having to wait for another minute for someone else to come at the counter and attempt to serve. Extremely disappointing experience and seems like you need to know in advance what’s available in order to be served, and being rushed simply put us off and walked away. Terrible management for allowing such customer service to be in place

Nice coffee and good selection of refreshments, you can sit indoors or outdoors, staff are polite and helpful.

Costa lot. Haha. Everything you'd expect, a bit more expensive than last year. Personally, I'm more about the indies, but I guess there's nothing wrong with a Costa that a few tax dollars into the local economy wouldn't fix.

I go into Costa regularly. Wherever I happen to be. Today for the first time I visited the Costa in Cookham. What a great couple of guys work here. Abraham & Joaao. Shame all Costa staff aren't so cheerful & customer friendly

Very good but l don't always get my points added to my card,l rang the Costa points line and they added 100 points to my total even though l think l have lost at least 1000 points through no fault of mine, very tight, just be aware

its a good costa. In my opinion the best coffee shop in the high street. the coffee is good and you know what you are getting. I often prefer srarbucks but the one in maidenhead is a bit too open-plan! friendly staff, good surroundings, good coffee = all good :-)

Very nice relaxing atmosphere but like most places you have to pay for that with extortionate food prices .but you don't have to eat just chill and people watch.

Came in with my 2 year old daughter while having a nice paddy. Staff absolutely faultless. Friendly and assisted me with my tray to the table as I had a buggy and my daughter. Special thanks to Denisha.

Always a nice friendly welcome and the staff always remember the regulars and remember your order every time. Always clean and tidy inside and lots of seating.

This is one of the tastiest coffees in town - usually plenty of space too. Relaxed atmosphere and busy. Sometimes let down by mistakes in order, e.g. temperature too cold; depends on which staff are serving. Favourable prices compared to competition.

Camped here while we were waiting for our mum to get home from work because we'd just come back from holiday and none of us remembered our house keys. Over the 5 hour wait free WiFi and the rare charging spot sustained us along with close access to tescos where I bought a meal deal, yet wasn't allowed to eat other none costa coffee products in Costa coffee much to my bewilderment. I purchased a raspberry muffin with white chocolate chips which was nicest for the sauce inside. Overall alright but wouldn't go there out of my own freewill apart from in a situation like this.

Possibly the worst Costa I've visited. Out of two drinks a latte that was Luke warm and a mocha that was bitter. How you can make a mocha bitter, given the sweetness of the chocolate is a special skill. Shame as drinks used to be good here,
