Fui hoy jueves 30 / 01 / 2025 por la mañana a The Costa Caffe abajo Westquay, Southampton, Reino Unido. Tenía un capuchino mediano y una oferta de sándwich de jamón y queso a £ 5. 99 . Lamentablemente poco después de tenerlos tuve que ir al baño con diarrea severa, no lo haga lo que había en el café, nunca tuve un problema de estómago tan malo, dolor en mi vida. Tuve que correr dos veces a los baños públicos (NO baños públicos en Southampton), así que ten en cuenta que podría pasarle a cualquiera como me pasó a MÍ.

Después de 25 minutos de colas y una actitud desagradable de la trabajadora haciendo café no volveremos, una recomendación a los demás es evitar como la plaga. Ambos trabajadores se veían bien sobrecargados de trabajo

Estuvimos con mi marido solamente unas pocas horas en la ciudad ya que llegamos en un crucero. Caminamos muchísimo. Decidimos entrar al centro comercial West Quay para recorrerlo y luego hicimos una parada en este lugar que se encuentra en el piso superior. Pedimos café que acompañamos con algo dulce. Buenos precios y atención amable.

Stopped for a take out coffee during a travel break. Around 1pm the cafe was fairly quiet - no wait time for the coffee. Staff were friendly & efficient, coffee was decent.

Had a tasty snack and a nice coffee at Costas. Service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. Good selection of food and beverages and plenty of seating. It is not luxurious but an excellent place for a quick bite.

Been here quite a few times with no complaints. My last visit I literally felt like I was being told off by a young female worker, with a queue of people behind me I was made to feel like an idiot. Great service, NOT.

Rude and unfriendly staff. I tried to order a pumpkin latte and to be honest, I couldn't read the menu, the screen was moving quickly so I ordered what was the autumnal favourite without realising that they didn't do pumpkin latte at costa. Anyway, the tall male worker, instead of being kind and saying they didn't do that one, instead he said "This isn't starbucks." Just rude and blunt. Way to make a customer feel absolutely stupid. I know it's a Costa and it is the worst Costa I've ever been to. I went there happy and smiley as I always do. Its tiring being a customer trying to be nice to workers when they don't even smile back. If you want to be treated like an idiot, go here. An absolutely miserable place.

7-8 High StreetThis costa is dirty and disgusting. Every table was dirty and most full of empty trays and cups whilst the 2 staff stood around chatting to each other. Had to ask them to clean a table so I could sit at one with my 7 month old baby. Highchairs were gross, the straps have clearly never been cleaned and were just covered in gunk. This place needs a massive deep clean

108-110 Obelisk Road Obelisk Hotel, Southampton SO19 9DP EnglandWent recently as a guest at a kids' 13th birthday party. Had an awful experience. The bar staff were extremely rude, bar one lady. Paid for the hire of the hall, the landlady complained to us about the music not being to her taste and she didn't want to listen to it all night so she went to our dj and complained about it requesting older music at a children's part. Also the host paid a member of staff for the night to be our side of the bar for the night to serve adults drinks, but there was hardly anyone there so they had to go around to the otherside where everyone else was not the private part that was hired and staff paid for. There was a two situations at the party which was sorted instantly when was told, then for the landlady to be going around telling adult guests about the issues for them to deal with it which is not the guest responsibility. Also, a huge amount was paid for a buffet for the party, and for what was paid for the food, it was poor quality, was cheap, and not thought about at all. Kids were being moaned at by 2 of the staff for anything that they had done. They were also accusing and telling guests that they thought 12 year olds were doing drugs in the toilet as more than one child went into the toilet at one time. How the host was treated and spoke to, very patronising and belittling, they couldn't enjoy the night as the staff was constantly on their back about any minor thing. Very poor experience and wouldn't recommend it to anyone again. The amount they're charging for private hire is disgusting the quality and rudeness you receive, host, and guests.
