Costa in Wychavon

I wish I could rate it zero. 5 staff and no service that was of any use. Over 10 minutes waiting and still didn’t get to give my order. Gave up as they were faffing about and there was nobody working at serving coffee. I will not be stopping there again. I don’t mind waiting for coffee to be made, but this was beyond a joke. I will get a drink elsewhere. If at the services I suggest using McDonald’s

Just called in for a quick coffee at the drive through and was greeted by the most prettiest and smiley girl … so pleasant left me driving away smiling !

A lovely man served me within minutes. People clearing their tables and disposing waste . Absolutely brilliant..much better than my Costa in Soeke Liverpool. Full marks!

Awful. Extremely slow service. Coffee was undrinkable, we threw it away. Truly disgusting. Burnt filth. Also, I had my own reusable cup - but no discount was offered unlike the more famous coffee outlet. Costa Coffee is always hit & miss, this is the final nail in the coffin. Never again.

Hard working efficient staff coping well. Nice coffee too. Why do I have to write more when I have said all that it needs?

I have visited Costa twice in the last 2 weeks. I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. It was busy yesterday and there were 3 staff behind the counter with 1 serving. The other 2 were not proactive and did not seem to be bothered by the queue of people waiting. Customer service was shocking.

Costa always maintain a high standard and have kept open during this COVID-19 pandemic. Good quality and efficient.

Visited on a bust day at the services full of people who are too ignorant to social distance, staff were slow to serve but the coffees were the normal standard for Costa.

we called in here for our dinner stop when we where on our way to Torquay there are lots of choice for a coffee and a meal

Made use of the other motorway service facilities, then came here for a drink. Two young male staff members were polite and welcoming. Coffee and the other drinks were up to the usual good standards of Costa which I enjoy. Restaurant was clean and tidy.

06:00. Hungry. Want a coffee. Only choice on Southbound was Costa. Ten quid for a coffee and sausage baps. So hot I couldn’t eat them. Dreadful food and coffee but friendly service. I vow every time that I won’t visit Costa again. Terrible.

We usually are greeted at most costas with a friendly face, this barrister wasn’t that friendly , tried to rush the order when the restaurant wasn’t busy, didn’t give time to think about the order so felt very rushed, left the customer feeling disgruntled! Think she needs training in people skills !

We had breakfast here. The cappuccinos were hot and perfect with chocolate sprinkles. We had a cheese and ham toastie and a breakfast wrap. All very pleasant as it was quiet at 8:30 in the morning. There is plenty of comfortable seating overlooking the grassy grounds.

Strensham northbound. Bruno pulled the best shot and did the best art ever! Very special for us seeing as where we live abroad there are no coffee shops!

I called here in late February and wanted a quick coffee and sausage sandwich. I ordered and then waited and waited. The poor guy working the coffee machine couldn’t keep up and didn’t speak English. The girl who took my order over heated the sandwich to the pint that it was not edible. Just a joke and I wonder why people still patronise Costa because quite honestly it is total rubbish. They do not deserve business and should be ashamed. Avoid!

Popped in here en route to Devon. Nice decaf coffee for me. Latte for Mum. Service really friendly and chatty. All arrived v efficiently. Successfully resisted the chocolate tiffin (which is one of my favourites). Job done.

Expensive chicken fahita wrap, tasty enough and the person serving was efficient and pleasant. Came in a cardboard sleeve and was piping hot. I didn't eat in but they had plenty of seating with good easy access for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

We just had a horrible trip to this Costa. The place was over run with flies, including all over the food. I’m not squeamish, but please do avoid at the moment.

Quick stop off to refresh and picked up take-out coffee and tea. Standard Costa Coffee offerings, no issues but is what it is.

Simple request - medium decaf black americano - so far so good - second request - may I have all four shots - once the dear girl understood what I was asking the answer was you get three shots if you want the fourth one you will have to pay for it!

Called into to grab a hot chocolate on a long long journey to Swansea

Stopped of on our way up north and grabbed2 cups of coffee. Server was friendly and we were not there long.

Wide range of coffees although most are rather strong. Latte is good but more varieties of mild coffee is needed. Prices are too high.

Very weak watery latte. You expect much better from a big brand name. Have been to a Costa before but cannot remember it being as bad as this.

Tiny services by modern standard with a few small cafes. Costa one of them. A bit small and crowded for me.

The main Costa servery has been closed and the smaller one nearer the doors expanded. This means that much of the seating is opposite the door - which hardly ever closes. Result - cold and uncomfortable place for a coffee.

Pleasant people serving, plenty of choice but pricey. To be expected when you're a captive audience. Nevertheless a welcome break. Most importantly clean, which can also be said for the toilets.

Motorway prices need addressing. Sort it. Why should you decide to rip customers off on a motorway. A coffee is a coffee anywhere.

Nothing to get excited about, just your average motorway Costa, busy staff, tired, Hun drum, if you like the coffee then go. I like.

Stopped here christmas eve around 17.45 .staff need a lesson in customer service. Very rude .not a great experience if I'm honest .Costa management you need to re train some of your staff sure you can trace which staff you had working .VERY RUDE .

Services smelling strongly of chinese food - a bit gut-churning at 10.30 in the morning. Costa staff monosyllabic! I guess others have said they were smily and friendly - not today! Miserable lot on shift today.Tables not kept clear, although no queue at the counter.The worst almond croissant I've had in a very long time! So Dry, in fact I left most of it! The coffee at Costa has definitely gone down hill - I drink Americano and so the flavour is really important! Felt I wasted my time and money here in Strensham today.

Stuck at the services for a while and looked in on the coffee shop for a few minutes. Quite busy and the usual coffee.

Good hot tasty coffee served quickly. Friendly service from the staff and everything clean and tidy.

Strensham services has a if Costa, but they often seem busy with long queues. The service seems quick though, so don't be intimidated by the queue if you're looking for a highly overpriced coffee. There's also and other Costa on the left as you walk in to the services, but it never seems to be open.

Drinks resembled dish water didn't get asked what type of milk we wanted/how much, coffee looked and tasted the worse, and we had to throw them away, sandwiches were ok, gluten free cake tastes like pure sugar I will not be back to these services. A waste of 15 quid.

Stopped by for a quick break on a 300 mile trip...There are few options here but Costa is always a good one..wrong Costa is good just not here...its rubbish. 6pm on a Saturday...ordered and paid for strawberries and cream cooler.....then got told there was no ice left (after paying) and was offered a hot chocolate....shocking service and doesn't deserve to be called Costa...take note and read your reviews...

Quickly greeted, staff smiles and a good cup of coffee cemented my positive view of this Costa outlet.

We used Costa for a toasties and coffee at Strensham South Services We had been disappointed when stopped in January and used another outlet but Costa was great and very reasonable Great team effort Thanks Dickie ;-)

Despite being extremely busy, the service was good and the offer of a bottle of water for £1 with any hot drink is good value. The coffee was good and no issues.

Just visited this Costa and paid the normal amount expected for drinks. I was very disdained to be told that we cannot use our Costa card to collect / use points as it is only a "barista Roadchef". When you are loyal to Costa you expected loyalty back. All said and done it was ok.

This is a very busy Costa in a services that is not large enough to cater for the crowds that stop here. It is very popular for the coach tours as the driver, driving time is up around here. On the day we stopped here there were seven coaches in, the Costa staff were very efficient in dealing with the volume but there was a lack of seating which meant that you were virtually moving into a seat as the previous people were leaving.

Myself and a friend stopped here en route to the Cotswolds during a half-term weekday. Premises also contains WH Smith, Cotton Traders, Fone Bitz and food outlets (including a McDonalds). Toilets. Adjacent petrol station.Pros:-Clean premises. -Efficient service. I had an Americano. A friend had a latte. -We sat on tub chairs at the front of the premises. Cons:-Open plan design of building causes excessive noise. No background music, but intermittent voice adverts add to the clutter. However, this is not the fault of CC.

The coffee here is good but often not hot, its a very busy area and the water in the machines may not get up to full temperature. Food is expensive here and choice limited. When you have to have a motorway break its just one of those places you have to stop at.

We love Costa coffee, and have visited numerous branches across the UK. Returning from Gloucester at the weekend, we stopped off at Strensham services for a coffee, as we had seen the Costa logo from the M5.We both had lattes, and they were excellent. It is an irritant of mine that often coffee from the big chains is not hot enough, but this one was really hot, making it last that bit longer. The service was very friendly and prompt. We also shared an excellent slice of Costa carrot cake.Highly recommended, and a very good branch of the Costa empire, with plenty of seating.

Costa coffee outlets are much the same in terms of drinks and food but as you would expect (unfortunately) very pricey when you visit an outlet at a motorway services. I bought a coffee and sandwich airside at Manchester Airport and, the following day, exactly the same coffee and sandwich at Costa Strensham - the motorway services was £2 more expensive (almost 40% more)! How can this be jusified?

Filthy tables and no one. And no on cleaning up , place is full and every table is full of rubbish not coming here again. Where's the staff?

Traveling round you can always get a good cup of coffee at Costa. Coffee delicious and well made and food is tasty and attractively presented but Pricey. But still as good quality as other Costas, good place for stop! nice service

I like this Costa. Service is good, the seating area is clean and you do not have to queue for long.

Usual nice coffee but when the staff are rowing about the speed of service (takeaway side) to the point where one staff member is banging his head on the counter and you have problems. Costa need to sort this - it's a big problem.

On a 365 mile journey we stopped for a coffee, Costa being our preferred choice. Costa management please note my descriptives. Staff are overwhelmed, under resourced, untrained, not engaged, uncommunicative and unconcerned. National football team flags painted on the faces of the staff does not make up for long grumbling queues of tired, thirsty potential customers. Perhaps Costa is getting just too big to reach out and keep food retailing standards as they should be? They get an extra star from me for the coffee which was good when it finally hit my insides.

Lukewarm tiny 'macchiato' served by pretentious staff discussing something not in English which I find incredibly rude considering this is England. I'll stick to independents and other astrologicaly named coffee shops from now on!

Nevertheless, quantity isn't necessarily quality. Although in this case it was. Excellent coffee and very tasty snacks. Reasonably priced considering it's on a motorway services. And they pay UK tax. What more could one want!

Their coffee is exceptional.. a little bit dearer than others [ 2pounds forty five for a latte ] but worth it, cause it is large and the staff are very professional and helpful. Of course the unlimited free wifi is a great bonus for travelers and others, and is easy to connect. The Costas that we are referring to is in Ross on Wye, but I suspect that they would all be of the same standard.
