Really lovely place that is surprisingly bigger on the inside than it looks. The food was really good and easy to order via the website that was scanned on the menu.

Rustic restaurant with a diverse selection. Nice, helpful service. Unfortunately the table stuck quite nicely, otherwise recommended. Lounge burgers and halloumi burgers were very tasty and fries were crispy and good.

A really relaxed atmosphere for either just having a drink or enjoying lovely food. Prices average for cornwall around £15 but really lovely food. Also dog friendly

Such a nice little place. Food is amazing. Had yhe bang bang chicken. Would highly recommend. There is also a lot of games. So put down your phones, talk or play games.

Above all, it's great that there are so many vegetarian dishes.

Popped in for food when passing and ordered the tapas. Food was amazing and well presented. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were going to stay for cocktails but someone's dog kept barking so made a hasty exit to somewhere a bit quieter.

We often go in the Longe establishments.. We expected a wait for food as it was super busy... However, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious and piping hot. Service was great also and the atmosphere was great as it was full of people enjoying their time in newquay.

Went for my brothers birthday and was met with a stressed staff even though it was fairly quiet. When we stated an allergy was in our group the man left to get someone and ended up coming back and getting someone else to do the order as the supervisor didn’t want to come down. The order process was anything but painful, they were out of caramel syrup and oreo milkshakes as well as brown bread and they did apologise but it felt like everything we were trying to order there was an issue!! When the food arrived one of our groups food took an extra 10 mins and there was no apologies at all. Also my friend ordered the salad with avocado on the side and when it came with avocado inside, the lady who served us said “well they left the avocado in there hope that’s okay” when she should of just taken it back to fix it before even coming to the table !! The food was okay, I ordered the breakfast and asked for runny eggs, she said it’s automatically runny and when it came it was hard. They took 20 minutes to do a check back and at that point, 2 had finished their meals and we couldn’t really complain as the food was already mainly done.. also they didn’t even clear our plates even though we had it all stacked at the end, it was only as we were getting ready to leave they collected, the lady who was assisting us all lunch kept seeing it and making no effort to clean. Kinda expect better from concho, the staff were all nice and apologetic but didn’t really seem to care enough to offer us any compensation or even a smile..

We stopped here during a leisurely walk through the town. The minute we entered we were met with hostility. One of the waitresses came over to us straight away. We requested a table for 7. At this moment another lady joined her and overtook the conversation and just shut down any option of trying to find us a table. We offered to split our group into a 4 and a 3, and whilst the first lady looked like she was trying to accommodate us, the blonde one just told us point blank...NO! There were plenty of tables available. We strongly believe we were treated this way due to the colour of our skin! Having read through the some of the other reviews on this page, this is noted by another person who visited here. I am British Asian and my husband is white. I can honestly say that I have not experienced such blatant racism in all my life. To the owners of Concho, is this the image you want to portray? The lady with blonde hair and glasses in her late 40s early 50s who met us is representing your business. Sadly for you, all this has done is lost you business and damaged your reputation. Would not return and allow my children to be subject to this kind of hate.

Went inside with my family for lunch. There was 7 of us. Was met immediately with we have no tables available when it was clear they had. We said we can split 4 and 3, and was told no room. Another lady came and just blatantly told us no room no space. Very rude. My wife and family are British born Asians. I am white. We were met with a wall of negativity in this place, like we were alien. My kids were shocked and do not need to grow up in a world where they are met with such distane. Disgraceful behaviour. We went on to find Paulines Creamery a few hundred yards further down the same street. This place was full, but the workers explained to us the waiting time and were extremely accommodating for a group our size, and colour! HAD A LOVELY MEAL staff were amazing.

NB ensure you match the preferred clientele as we were turned away purely for the colour of our skin! Racist and rude! Plenty of tables were available but we were told point blank that there was nothing they could do. We had 4 children with us. Absolutely shocking behaviour especially from the lady with the bifocal glasses and blonde hair! Owners need to recognise that this is what your staff are portraying! Have a word!

No one bothered to tell us there was an hour wait on food, until we chased it 40 minutes later. Really poor.

Every time we drop into Newquay we stop by for food and drinks. Staff are always cooler than a fridge full of Fonzies in many ways and the food is the quality you'd expect from the chain. No faults from me.

Relaxing and cosy atmosphere. Various food and drinks options. Vegan, Gluten free etc. Brunch, sandwiches, Lunch, Burgers, Tapas, cakes,puddings, coffee, drinks, alcoholic as well as alcohol free, vegan juices etc.

Lovely, delicious food and drinks!! Service fast and polite and atmosphere very calming and relaxing. Definitely recommend dinning here. Very reasonable prices too xx

Terrible breakfast, took 45mins, kept taking our food to other tables... tasted cheap and pre made... avoid !!!!

Been here twice now once other day with family and we all enjoyed the food which was beautiful but the atmosphere and how comfortable the whole dining experience is. Today I had a meal with my partner and we again was blown away with the food which was absolutely stunning 100% would visit again

Relaxed nice atmosphere, not too loud, creative and delicious food and friendly service. I'm not a fan of the online order and pay system but that's not important.

This was our first visit and it lived up to The Lounges usual standard. Great food, friendly service and beautiful views sat outside. We will definitely be back

Used this as a late night coffee bar and it was great. Used the online ordering service.whoch worked brilliantly. One thing to note is that the toilets are a magical mystery tour up two flights of stairs! This place has a really great feel with absolutely loads of places to sit - bar stools to arm chairs.

Excellent service, food, and drink. Space out the back is a hidden sun trap. Highly recommend it.

With the Lounge you know what you are getting! Reliable for variety of food, quality and atmosphere. The breakfast I had this evening was huge!

Absolutely love this place, called in a couple of times for morning coffee while we stayed in Newquay, ordered the coffee at the bar, they brought it in the upstairs lounge area where there was an outside garden, was lovely and we ate tapas one night and was delicious. Great atmosphere and wonderful, helpful staff, will definitely come back.

Great efficient and friendly service, affordable prices and fab location in the centre of town. Delicious and vast array of food choices for all. Board games and colouring for kids available. Plenty of seating both inside and outside.

In total we were here twice. Both times we were very satisfied. Something else.

Awesome place with lots of delicious things. Shrimp, patatas bravas and quesadilla are great. Everything there was delicious and I will definitely go back when I'm in Cornwall.

We always call in here when we are in Newquay. Comfortable place with comfy seating. Dog friendly. Staff friendly and attentive. We didn't eat on this occasion, but we have eaten here many times and the food is good.

The food was very tasty and a large range of options so perfect for almost everybody. Wouldn't recommend bang bang chicken as it is slightly bland but all other food very flavourful. The staff were polite and food arrived at a good speed. Relatively cheaply priced and deals on Monday's with free deserts or drinks when you order mains and burgers. Part of a chain and has many locations across the country.

Nice relaxed vibe, stopped in for a beer to get out of the sodding rain 🤣🤣 Good selection of beer with my choice being a Hofmeister (didn't think it still existed), staff were pleasant

Affordable and many good and healthier options on the menu. Went here 3 times during our week long stay. Would recommend! Some dishes were a bit on the smaller side so if you want to make sure to get full take at least one tapas or side dish + a main course.

We went to the concho lounge after spending time at Newquay Pride. We ordered from the bar, where the very helpful server (sorry, I didn't get her name) helped me choose a lager, as I'd never heard of any of them on tap. Our drinks were brought to the table where our food order was taken. One friend chose the burger and the other, vegetarian tapas. My wife and I chose 6 tapas to share. Our order was brought out by Sophie, a very helpful and friendly server. (She is a great asset to the serving team). The tapas choices were delicious, our friends also said their food was very tasty. We will certainly recommend this place to our friends. We shall definitely return.

Food was amazing with so much choice. A few board games on the go too which kept the kids entertained

Nice outside seating area up the stairs, access through the Concho lounge main entrance. Serves great cocktails and serves vegan dishes. We had lovely Bacon & Egg Breakfast Muffin and coffees.

Welcomed by happy faces. Kiran, Mitchell, chloe and Sophie are very good at their jobs nothing is to much trouble for they are always really helpful and will go above and beyond to help you.

poor service, long wait on food, rude staff. I would not return. No staff came to apologise about our 1 hour wait for food

Been coming to Newquay for years and this was the first time I had ever been in here and now it's my 3rd lol great place to have dinner or just a cosy coffee from the rain

We were in Newquay last year and had lunch at this place, so decided to return as we liked the excellent varied menu. It didn’t disappoint - my partner had Macaroni Cheese and I had the Aubergine on flatbread. Both dishes were really really tasty, service was quick and the chap behind the bar, Cameron was welcoming and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the place has a nice vibe. Would definately recommend and we will definately visit again.

The best spot for breakfast! The only place that knows how to follow simple direction like how you want your egg, and they get it right every. Time.! Love love love. Definitely the best spot for a good breakfast!!!!!🍳

Food was brilliant, service not as good, they took our order at our table but after that I had to order desserts and more drinks at the bar and pay the full amount there and then so obviously they didn't get a tip.

Great lounge experience as always. But like always in all the venues chips & side of broccoli cold. Shame cos the chef works hard, prob just left on the pass getting cold. Poor lighting

We stopped here for lunch this week and we're very impressed by the food. It was quiet when we visited and there was plenty of seating, the staff seemed very nice and were helpful and quick to serve and the food was really lovely and we all really enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend the brisket chilli which was amazing. It's also family friendly and provides a separate kids menu.

What a special place this is. I had no idea about the chain, but reading the menu, we decided to give it a try. It was quiz night, so we entered it. Came last! Never mind, it was great fun. The quizmaster was first rate. So warm, charming and chatty. She was as good as a bar staff member, as she was running the quiz. The service was utterly first rate. Despite their young age, all of the staff we meet during our three visits, were some of the best I have ever seen. Friendly and highly skilled. If I ever ran a bar, I would want these guys working for me. Keira, the manager, is lovely. She is as good as her staff and happily accommodated a special menu request I had. The food is really good and the menu offers choices not usually seen in many pubs and restaurants. My wife and I were so impressed that we looked up a Lounge bar near us in Kenilworth. We will be visiting that established for sure. Thanks again for a wonderful three nights. You really are the best.

What a lovely find. I generally steer clear of chain pubs but we found ourselves hunting somewhere out on a wet bank holiday so ended up drifting in. The menu was one of the most varied I’ve seen in a chain, and had the best selection of veggie/vegan dishes I’ve found in a while. I had the bang bang cauliflower noodles and it was delicious. Tapas was all well presented and well portioned. We had extra fries, with garlic and Parmesan and these were the only disappointment as they didn’t really pack any punch. Four of us ate for less than £80, which for Cornwall is pretty reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful and decor interesting. We will definitely visit again.

When we entered we were told there was no room with no attempt for find us somewhere to sit! We found our own table. Service via a downloaded app was exceptionally slow and when the food arrived it was cold

Bank holiday weekend in Newquay. Fancy pants overpriced menus overbooked etc etc. Concho lounge may be a chain, but if you want 8 guests fed and watered with zero drama, zero wait time, zero admin and most of all, smiley hospitality staff, this is the place. Also the breakfasts are unreal.

Tried veggie breakfast everywhere in the Newquay area for years and this is the best. The large veggie is pretty large and really tasty. Worth a visit.

Came here for an 18th birthday party meal.. ..there was a LOT of us and I was so impressed with the service.....the guy delivering our food was amazing. The ladies on the bar were so lovely and helpful when we wanted to order more food. They couldn't do enough to make us have an enjoyable evening....food was really delicious and fresh too. Would recommend.

Really impressed. Weather certainly help but the outside terrace (out the back away from the high street) is a great spot in the sun and out the breeze. Service via a QR code on the table was super speedy. Food was excellent - great selection for all including a kids menu. Would highly recommended.

Pop in whenever I fancy a bite in Newquay. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Good food. Recommend sitting upstairs as it's a lighter and less busy space.

Always excellent food and atmosphere here - cant go wrong with anything you order. We have eaten at a few places in this area and always return here. It can get very busy but they do an excellent job at making it all work. The staff are fantastic.

Popped in today,6 of us. Waited ages for our food, and what a disappointment 😞 I had a fish finger sandwich, which was like eating rubber,everyone else had burgers,tuna melts etc. We will never visit there again,the place looks lovely, but the food is definitely not!

Concho is a nice meeting place but the music can be a bit on the loud side making social conversations difficult. Apart from that, we enjoy the food and drinks

We visited on a Sunday. The Beef Brisket Chilli was amazing. When we arrived, a young lady welcomed us and showed us to a quiet table at the back of the lounge. The meals came out after around 5 minutes. The bar had a great range of drinks. There was a Salsa class being held upstairs and the music was a nice addition to a latin american meal.

Such a lovely spot and our server Josey was amazing. Wonderful service and vibes. Had lunch the day after as well, new favourite to go place.

Was absolutely disappointed with my breakfast which was served. I was hoping for a nice breakfast for my birthday. It came out and it was like it was sat there for a week before it was served to me. Not happy at all. The food was disgusting.
