amazing vibe lovely food and great service especially from the male worker with dashing curtains and a slightly camp stride, and also its cool they incorporate bring your kid to work day aswell because she was really nice aswell, think the name was killie i believe.

Called in on a Wednesday afternoon, we were greeted straightaway with options of where to sit and how to order. Good choice of food and drinks. Quirky decor. Good atmosphere. We went for tapas, the food was good and good value.

Lovely place to eat and drink with a good atmosphere, been here a few times now, always a friendly welcome. Great food and service. We like the rustic feel to the place.

Cam was the best ever, he was so accommodating and did his best to make sure we had the best time. Will definitely be back!!!

I have to admit this place was not our first choice on a short stay visit to Newquay. We had decided to go to a pub close by who advised us we would not need to book in order to eat later that day.....on arrival it was busy, but also extremely loud due to a bingo night, so we voted with our feet, on walking past, my wife suggested having a look. We walked in and straight away the ambience was amazing and we could hear ourselves think. We looked at the menu and decided to give it a shot. What a brilliant choice that turned out to be. The service was spectacular, all staff were chatty and friendly and nothing was 2 much trouble. I had 3 Tapas plates and my wife had the chicken and avocado burger, and casually mentioned afterwards that it was the best burger she had eaten in years. Couldn't fault this place. It was that good we went back the following night and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with 'it is nice to see you again'. Again fantastic foods but best of all is by far the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the owners should be proud of each and everyone of you.

Always have the best food and service here. They always go above and beyond. Today I accidentally forgot to put that I couldn't have sauce on the wings and Kyra happily changed this for me even though it was my mistake. Great staff. Lovely atmosphere and stellar food

Friendly, helpful staff. Timely service and tasty food. Not a fan of dogs in eateries which is why only 4 stars for atmosphere but it appeared there was designated seating. One well behaved dog while we were there and one where the owner allowed it to be jumping all over the table.

toilets smell awful, ordering system is extremely difficult especially if you’re elderly and don’t know how to work the internet , took 45 minutes for some chips to come.

Breakfast and dinner is amazing here, and the staff are extremely friendly especially a lady called Jade who has served us on previous occasions, lovely smile, tasty food and a great vibe. 10/10

We planned to go to a nearby establishment but when we got to where thought we wanted to go it was rather crowded, VERY loud and a bit intimidating… so we voted with our feet and stumbled across Concho Lounge- Oh! What a delight! I’ve never been happier with a last minute change of plan- amazing friendly service, fantastic ambiance and the food- absolutely divine! We will be back, every time we come to Newquay!

I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. A special mention goes to Juliana, who truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The staff are friendly and attentive service made all the difference, ensuring we were well looked after throughout our experience. It's always a pleasure to encounter staff who genuinely care about their customers! I highly recommend, its fantastic food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Really good place and amazing staff. Specially Juliana, she was really happy to help us. It was a really nice time, the place is beautiful and the food was great.

Just had a fantastic meal here. The staff were really friendly, especially Kyra and the service was quick. We loved the huge gluten free menu and the care our sever took to check on our allergies. Highly recommend Concho Lounge.

Have visited on quite a few occasions and it has been a delight every time. This place offers a great selection of drinks including some brilliant non-alcoholic ones. The food here is always really good. Everything from the breakfast to the burgers to the steaks. There’s always a really nice relaxed vibe and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The client can leave a little to be desired at times, but this does not reflect badly on the place itself. Whether you’re a local like me or you’re just here for a visit, it’s certainly worth a visit.

Came in after a dog walk for a spot of lunch, ordered tapas thinking it would be quick and easy, we waiting over 45 mins for the food to come out after having to ask how long, the restaurant wasn’t busy and there were plenty of staff around. The staff were really young and miserable it’s as if they have just employed anyone needing a job in Newquay regardless to there skill and attitude. We won’t be returning and won’t be recommend the lounge.

Quirky environment but a bit scruffy and tired now, which was disappointing. Decent tea and coffee presented quite nicely but everything looks a little neglected.

A tad on the pricey side. But the lounge was a great place to eat. Loved that doggo can be there too. Food was of a high quality. Very tasty 😋.

I visited a lounge bar in Newquay today and was really impressed by the staff. Despite being short-staffed and clearly overworked, they stayed calm and gave great service with a smile. It’s not easy in those conditions, but they handled it all really well!

Great place food is brill Sorry but tables are SO uncomfortable they don't need the skirting on it makes it difficult to move your legs under them

Popped out for lunch with the family and as town was busy we went into The Concho Lounge. Unsurprisingly it was busy inside too but when we ordered there was no mention of the wait on food. After waiting nearly an hour our food finally arrived and sadly it was completely underwhelming at best. We had ordered a panini, a flatbread and a Buddha bowl with some fries - nothing too complicated. However when the food finally arrived not only was it barely warm but there was hardly anything of it either. The Buddha bowl was both greasy and watery and the flatbread dry.

Extremely rude staff, cold food and bad management. In stark contrast to Central bar and Sailors where you will find far superior food and a more welcoming atmosphere. Avoid

Me and my father came in today around 1-2 ish and the tuna melt Panini was great but the service was especially excellent. I'm not afraid to admit I immediately fell in love with the waitress with the black dress serving our table, tell her from the chap with the sheeps fur jacket and the bad hair that she's mesmerizingly beautiful. Thank you ;)

Comprehensive menu (including a few gluten free options), some great daily specials (I especially like the Tuesday tapas and wine deal). Some really different cocktails. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient.

I don’t have any words to explain how happy I am with the food, service and the people who work there. I went in to Concho after being dismissed by 2 pubs since the kitchen was closed. The burger was on point, the brisket chilly was so good and the tapas was top notch. It was an impromptu visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff has helped a lot in choosing the right dishes And even helped clocking some beautiful pics of me & ms. 100% recommend , quality food and time.

We often go in the Lounge establishments.. We expected a wait for food as it was super busy... However, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious and piping hot. Service was great also and the atmosphere was great as it was full of people enjoying their time in newquay.

Really lovely place that is surprisingly bigger on the inside than it looks. The food was really good and easy to order via the website that was scanned on the menu.

Rustic restaurant with a diverse selection. Nice, helpful service. Unfortunately the table stuck quite nicely, otherwise recommended. Lounge burgers and halloumi burgers were very tasty and fries were crispy and good.

A really relaxed atmosphere for either just having a drink or enjoying lovely food. Prices average for cornwall around £15 but really lovely food. Also dog friendly

Popped in for food when passing and ordered the tapas. Food was amazing and well presented. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were going to stay for cocktails but someone's dog kept barking so made a hasty exit to somewhere a bit quieter.

Went for my brothers birthday and was met with a stressed staff even though it was fairly quiet. When we stated an allergy was in our group the man left to get someone and ended up coming back and getting someone else to do the order as the supervisor didn’t want to come down. The order process was anything but painful, they were out of caramel syrup and oreo milkshakes as well as brown bread and they did apologise but it felt like everything we were trying to order there was an issue!! When the food arrived one of our groups food took an extra 10 mins and there was no apologies at all. Also my friend ordered the salad with avocado on the side and when it came with avocado inside, the lady who served us said “well they left the avocado in there hope that’s okay” when she should of just taken it back to fix it before even coming to the table !! The food was okay, I ordered the breakfast and asked for runny eggs, she said it’s automatically runny and when it came it was hard. They took 20 minutes to do a check back and at that point, 2 had finished their meals and we couldn’t really complain as the food was already mainly done.. also they didn’t even clear our plates even though we had it all stacked at the end, it was only as we were getting ready to leave they collected, the lady who was assisting us all lunch kept seeing it and making no effort to clean. Kinda expect better from concho, the staff were all nice and apologetic but didn’t really seem to care enough to offer us any compensation or even a smile..

We stopped here during a leisurely walk through the town. The minute we entered we were met with hostility. One of the waitresses came over to us straight away. We requested a table for 7. At this moment another lady joined her and overtook the conversation and just shut down any option of trying to find us a table. We offered to split our group into a 4 and a 3, and whilst the first lady looked like she was trying to accommodate us, the blonde one just told us point blank...NO! There were plenty of tables available. We strongly believe we were treated this way due to the colour of our skin! Having read through the some of the other reviews on this page, this is noted by another person who visited here. I am British Asian and my husband is white. I can honestly say that I have not experienced such blatant racism in all my life. To the owners of Concho, is this the image you want to portray? The lady with blonde hair and glasses in her late 40s early 50s who met us is representing your business. Sadly for you, all this has done is lost you business and damaged your reputation. Would not return and allow my children to be subject to this kind of hate.

Went in for a late lunch staff were brilliant and great service

Went inside with my family for lunch. There was 7 of us. Was met immediately with we have no tables available when it was clear they had. We said we can split 4 and 3, and was told no room. Another lady came and just blatantly told us no room no space. Very rude. My wife and family are British born Asians. I am white. We were met with a wall of negativity in this place, like we were alien. My kids were shocked and do not need to grow up in a world where they are met with such distane. Disgraceful behaviour. We went on to find Paulines Creamery a few hundred yards further down the same street. This place was full, but the workers explained to us the waiting time and were extremely accommodating for a group our size, and colour! HAD A LOVELY MEAL staff were amazing.

NB ensure you match the preferred clientele as we were turned away purely for the colour of our skin! Racist and rude! Plenty of tables were available but we were told point blank that there was nothing they could do. We had 4 children with us. Absolutely shocking behaviour especially from the lady with the bifocal glasses and blonde hair! Owners need to recognise that this is what your staff are portraying! Have a word!

Every time we drop into Newquay we stop by for food and drinks. Staff are always cooler than a fridge full of Fonzies in many ways and the food is the quality you'd expect from the chain. No faults from me.

Been here twice now once other day with family and we all enjoyed the food which was beautiful but the atmosphere and how comfortable the whole dining experience is. Today I had a meal with my partner and we again was blown away with the food which was absolutely stunning 100% would visit again

This was our first visit and it lived up to The Lounges usual standard. Great food, friendly service and beautiful views sat outside. We will definitely be back

Used this as a late night coffee bar and it was great. Used the online ordering service.whoch worked brilliantly. One thing to note is that the toilets are a magical mystery tour up two flights of stairs! This place has a really great feel with absolutely loads of places to sit - bar stools to arm chairs.

Absolutely love this place, called in a couple of times for morning coffee while we stayed in Newquay, ordered the coffee at the bar, they brought it in the upstairs lounge area where there was an outside garden, was lovely and we ate tapas one night and was delicious. Great atmosphere and wonderful, helpful staff, will definitely come back.

Great efficient and friendly service, affordable prices and fab location in the centre of town. Delicious and vast array of food choices for all. Board games and colouring for kids available. Plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Awesome place with lots of delicious things. Shrimp, patatas bravas and quesadilla are great. Everything there was delicious and I will definitely go back when I'm in Cornwall.

The food was very tasty and a large range of options so perfect for almost everybody. Wouldn't recommend bang bang chicken as it is slightly bland but all other food very flavourful. The staff were polite and food arrived at a good speed. Relatively cheaply priced and deals on Monday's with free deserts or drinks when you order mains and burgers. Part of a chain and has many locations across the country.

We always call in here when we are in Newquay. Comfortable place with comfy seating. Dog friendly. Staff friendly and attentive. We didn't eat on this occasion, but we have eaten here many times and the food is good.

Affordable and many good and healthier options on the menu. Went here 3 times during our week long stay. Would recommend! Some dishes were a bit on the smaller side so if you want to make sure to get full take at least one tapas or side dish + a main course.

We went to the concho lounge after spending time at Newquay Pride. We ordered from the bar, where the very helpful server (sorry, I didn't get her name) helped me choose a lager, as I'd never heard of any of them on tap. Our drinks were brought to the table where our food order was taken. One friend chose the burger and the other, vegetarian tapas. My wife and I chose 6 tapas to share. Our order was brought out by Sophie, a very helpful and friendly server. (She is a great asset to the serving team). The tapas choices were delicious, our friends also said their food was very tasty. We will certainly recommend this place to our friends. We shall definitely return.

Nice outside seating area up the stairs, access through the Concho lounge main entrance. Serves great cocktails and serves vegan dishes. We had lovely Bacon & Egg Breakfast Muffin and coffees.

Welcomed by happy faces. Kiran, Mitchell, chloe and Sophie are very good at their jobs nothing is to much trouble for they are always really helpful and will go above and beyond to help you.

We were in Newquay last year and had lunch at this place, so decided to return as we liked the excellent varied menu. It didn’t disappoint - my partner had Macaroni Cheese and I had the Aubergine on flatbread. Both dishes were really really tasty, service was quick and the chap behind the bar, Cameron was welcoming and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the place has a nice vibe. Would definately recommend and we will definately visit again.

The best spot for breakfast! The only place that knows how to follow simple direction like how you want your egg, and they get it right every. Time.! Love love love. Definitely the best spot for a good breakfast!!!!!🍳
