Very good food and nice atmosphere. If it wasn't for Italy I would definitely come back!

Food taste was Ok but not thrilled at all, I had high hopes with Lebanese restaurant but was disappointed, I would say bit on the expensive side as well and the portion didn't justify the cost at all. Had a mezze platter and the portion was kind of rip off. Probably won't be going again. Ambience and service was nice.

It is a nice restaurant. The location is great too. A stream flows nearby . The Mall is also opposite to it. You can park in the Mall which have lots of parking. Do remember to check the timings as they close early in the evening. But the food is great .

Please include photos of your meals on the menu. Just from the names, it's hard to determine what is being ordered and how the food and portion sizes would look.

Went with my mum, girlfriend and niece. Dominic our waiter was brilliant, very professional and very good communicator. We had 2 mezze platters and sat outside. Great place for a family lunch looking over the water!

I had the best experience today, i loved the decorations, the north african songs who ever choose the playlist has an excellent musical sense ; it really makes me feel home , the team is very professional and polite and not forgetting the delicious food the chefs clearly know what they are doing. it is the first time and it won't be the last 10/10 .

I booked Iftar dinner with few office colleagues in the Reading branch (24/03/2025). The ambience, the food, and the service were all superb. True value for money. Keep up the good standard and especially don't compromise on the quality of food.

Pedimos una mezcla de diferentes platos. La comida era bastante sabrosa. Las porciones eran pequeñas y los precios eran grandes. Las porciones de tagine eran cuencos del tamaño de niños, bastante ridículos. El cambio de servicio del 12 % se aplicó automáticamente, ni siquiera nos dio la opción de recompensar el servicio nosotros mismos, y el servicio no fue muy atento.

We liked the surroundings and the siting of the restaurant. The fake flowers and decorative baskets are very jolly. We had a meze platter to share which is a starter for 2 and costs £27. The food was nice but you don't get much. The portion size was really small for the money. The baclava dessert was amusing. You get a single bite sized (2x2 inch) piece. Our drinks came after our food and cost £10.80 each for a large glass of wine. Service got added onto the bill automatically but we had to fight for service. The server was very friendly but seemed to be serving the whole restaurant by herself. Some positives but, overall, we thought the whole thing was a bit of a rip off and we would not go back.

This is the second time I’ve requested napkins and a spoon for soup and it wasn’t included. I’m on travel and do not have utensils to use. I’ve ordered twice now with a note included and it hasn’t been delivered.

I gave a 3 for the food. I had lamb tagine. I Was not expecting lamb minced balls with hardly any flavour. I was expecting pieces of lamb meat. Disappointing.

First in a Lebanese Restaurant and I could say the food was tremendously tasty! We ordered The feast that comes with a Platter of starters, a burst of flavour to my mouth! The Mixed grill large plate was really good and very filling! I love the chicken wings! And of course, the baklawa, oh my gosh, if I wasn’t full, I’d order more! Don’t forget the mint tea, it’s refreshing! My friend who celebrated her birthday was really happy with the restaurant! Will definitely come back!

Amazing food!! As a veggie, I would recommend the halloumi open wrap, great flavour and can tell that care goes into the preparation of the food. Price is on the more expensive side but definitely worth it.

Too much salad, not enough chicken. It didn’t taste of Chicken Taouk Wrap, it didn’t taste of much more than pickles.

Had lunch at Comptoir Libanais with my husband and the food was very, very good. We were served by the lovely Ermiona who was fast and efficient. All in all, a good place for a meal.

Fantastic meal from start to finish. Went for the festive menu with mezze selection starters - very tasty dips, fresh breads, all excellent. Then the lamb kebab main was delicious, perfect charring but still super juicy, a first-class Lebanese feast finished off with fab mint tea and baklava. Service was excellent throughout as well, very friendly welcome and looked after by Karina and Yusef.

Have been multiple times to the Reading restaurant- every time the food is cooked perfectly and tasty. The menu has plenty of meat-free options. The staff are always friendly and attentive- shout out to Karina for constant high-level service. Karina

Amazing and outstanding atmosphere. For a vegetarian/vegan there is no other choice in Reading. Tables 8 and 9 overlooking the riverside are also the best in house.

Así que la primera vez a este restaurante de cadena. ¡Nos gustó! Comida recién sabrosa - nada elaborado pero una calidad decente entregado por un equipo bien perforado de cocineros y servidores. Si tienes un plato con proteína como ingrediente, las porciones son bastante pequeñas. El servicio era muy bueno. Un par de puntos negativos ... es un poco caro para lo que se obtiene . . si usted tiene 3 platos y una bebida sin alcohol o dos, es alrededor de las £ 50 por cabeza. Además, si te sientas en la mitad de la sala de estar más cercana a la puerta, entonces sientes una explosión de hielo cada vez que se abre la puerta, ya que no hay vestíbulo o entrada de chicane solo un calentador de puerta que no gestiona el trabajo. No es algo que quieras en un restaurante decente. Quizá hagan que los repartidores usen una entrada diferente... ¿Está en mi top 10 de Reading - probablemente no - pero no es malo.

Food quality and taste was average. Kebab was burnt. Service was not very good. Location is very good but table for two is very small. If you order more than two dishes no space on table.

Recieved a warm welcome, service was ok- a little slow but ok. Food was tasty. The mezze feast deal seemed like a good offer and although the food was lovely, personally I feel like the offer was overpriced. White sangria again overpriced and tasted like orange juice.

Delicious food, but service left a very bitter taste Went to comptoir tonight with 3 friends, we all had tagines, there were soooo tasty! One friend ordered an elderflower spritz which was really unpleasant/bitter, when she told the waiter he essentially shrugged his shoulders, she’d had at best 2 sips. I ordered soda and fresh lime and received the tiniest slice of bear dried lime in my soda. We all ordered fresh mint tea after our meal, getting the drinks/dessert menu was no mean feat as waiters were hard to get the attention of. We made a point of saying just mint tea, not the fancier one, even pointed to it on the menu. We were served the fancier, bitter one with tea in it rather than just leaves and told that’s how they did it when clearly they did fresh mint on the menu. Rather than listening to us we were shut down by the wait staff. I left feeling really very angry, and disappointed. We usually go to Comptoir in London, and not sure i’d rush back to Reading branch again after our experience.

Friendly staff and hard work in everything they do. A relaxed and amazing atmosphere for everyone. Great food at a great price, would recommend if you want something new and exciting.Swift booking process, great ambiance, tasty food and excellent service.
