Really nice food, flavourful and delicious. Dawood served us, what an amazing person he made sure we are looked after and overall very good service.

I've ordered a meal but I haven't got any drink

I'm somewhat of a chicken connoisseur, having eaten at countless different establishments and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Get down here! That's all that needs to be said 🍗

Ordered what I assumed a meal would normally consist off with chips especially at nearly £15..all i got was the chicken,corn on the cob and can of drink..better off going elsewhere at that price

wasn't impressed by the description on menu as I'd ordered mine as a meal (inc chips) apparently not. won't be ordering again and will be leaving a review on socials as 99% of places have a meal inc chips

Me and my partner had chicken strip meal and both ended up with food poisoning, we have never had a problem with eating here before, but we both are poorly with sickness 🤢

Ordered through Just Eat and it's one of the best grill chicken n peri peri wings I had.

Really nice food and dare I say, better than a more well known peri peri chain.

Absolutely love this place. Been a Nandos chicken liver fan for 20 years but Manzanos you beat that to be honest. The liver you make is super solid delicious. Masala Fish is to die for. Wow And also the chicken wings. Love your food guys. Keep it going. All the best.

Food taste have improved from the last time, however portions is still not adequate, so I wouldn't call it value for money.

Visited this place after a long time recently. The food was still good but current staff were unwelcoming and had poor customer service skills. Shame as this place used to be very good before.

A friend introduced me to this place and when I tell you that Manzano’s is the best food place in Reading I truly mean it !! Everytime I go the staff is attentive , fast, and food comes quick. I go in with my friend who orders the vegi burger and I personally get the buffalo burger every time. It’s the best burger in Reading so juicy chicken is never dry, drowning in buffalo sauce with a yummy salad which doesn’t involve tomatoes which is a plus for me as I don’t enjoy tomatoes as much. The side of chips are so perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside making for a perfect combination with the burger which is so very juicy and flavourful. They have many sauce options I personally go for hot which has a perfect level of spice for me ! I get Peri chips with my burger and they are so generous with the peri salt which makes me so happy. Lovely atmosphere and spacious dining area , toilets downstairs if you’re concerned. My fav part by far is the great variety of sauce bottles they have which you can take to your table. I take one of every single sauce and I made a flavourful mix for my chips and burger the main base being the garlic sauce . So much flavour variety with the sauces. Lovely dining experience great for family , friend, kids , anyone !! Everyone always has a smile on their face the female waitress is particularly attentive and smiley with a great attitude. I love this place and go whenever I can ❤️! Great job I hope they remain their amazing reputation and quality food over the years .

I never received the the order, contacted Manzano , and they said is justeat problem, and when i tried to contact justeat , there is no contact Very disappointed, this is a frode , they took my money for nothing !!!!!!!!

Rude, illiterate customer service. I went to collect my food the lady in the front counter ask her colleague to deal with my order; her colleague told her back that she needed to serve me they started arguing between themselves about whom should serve me, and in this way, I felt very unwelcome. I asked the lady to put the receipt in my bag it was £30 for the food, she refused to put the receipt in my bag and told me that this is not her job. This is very shameful but with zero Customer Service, zero manners with zero management I could easily dump the £ed the £30 food but I didn’t choose to do so because I know the owner owner is a good person they can easily find out about this in CCTV on 22nd of February around 9 pm. I will never shop there again.

I am diabetic so ordered a sugar free Pepsi max instead I was delivered a regular Pepsi which I could not drink due to the sugar level

The wings were banging. Perfectly cooked with the nice blend of sauce, amazing taste. You can have your own choice of sauces . I’ll suggest you to give it a try an amazing place at hight street in Reading.

I have been a returning customer ever since it opened but recently the place went down hill. I walked in to an empty floor and all tables were dirty, staff clearly had enough time on their hands to clean them but chose not too. Received a burger with a funny amount of chips on the side. So dissapointed.

Our regular go to place for great food. Excellent value too. Family friendly. The mango chilli sauce is the best!

The best burgers and peri peri chicken in town

Chicken was burnt, dry and lacked flavour/sauce. Chips were standard but requested peri salt which was barely noticeable and I had to pay extra for the pleasure! Just moved in across the road which is a shame as I would’ve been a regular- although I may have just caught them on an off day.

Ordered from here a bunch of times, sometimes they forgot the dips wasn't biggest deal in the world so don't mention it but then they forgot the chips however said they sent them out and blamed Deliveroo driver, wich we do believe may of been the case however never offered to send a replacement seeing as that's half of my meal, wasn't too happy. Was told to go Deliveroo and only got 50p for half a meal missing, and now today they forgot the peri peri salt on one of the chips wich makes me wonder wether they forgot the chips last time, however don't feel like calling up as he will probably tell me they did infact put the peri salt on, overall attitude on the phone isn't great not the friendliest and seems like he wants to get rid of you as quick as possible. Food wasn't too great this time round either so won't be going back.

ive been here for a couple of years now and it never lets me down the food here is fantastic. the wraps are juicy and flavourful the food is way better then Nandos as its more cheap and genrally better highly recommend

Chicken wings very small, not very good.

Popped in for a quick takeaway. Had half chicken and the Tikka & rice. Mega impressed. 10 times better than their nearest competitor and cheaper. Only come to reading once a week, but will definitely be returning. Highly recommend

Decided to try this place after being highly recommended by family and they did not disappoint. The restaurant is colourful, vibrant and the food was exquisite. The mango spice flavour is to die for and the tikka combo mix was full of flavour. Our visit was especially pleasant due to the staff. Lots of friendly smiles and banter from the staff. The young man at the till was so pleasant and well mannered, he made us feel like regular customers on our first visit going above and beyond to give us a good experience. Highly recommend. And make sure to try the mango spice sauce!! :)

I am a regular and usually rave about this place, not anymore I guess. After a long day at the office I got a tikka wrap delivered at home for dinner and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was so over cooked and hard, couldn’t even bite it. Oh and they forgot to send the sauce that I paid extra for :)

Best burger shop I've ever been too

I drop in here whenever I can. The food is top notch and service fast and friendly. The restaurant is a little tired (which is disappointing given it’s relatively young) but don’t worry about that. Highly recommend the peri peri.

My favourite place for mango and spice chicken wrap and wings...I love the chicken liver too...during the week you can go in and eat in peace ( even with toddler ) however I usually make order for collection ( approximately 10 minutes waiting time) . Sauces are super tasty. Overall , delicious , clean , nice customer service and they do remember regular customers :) . Reasonable pricing.

The food was REALLY nice but due to the lack of people it wasn't a fun atmosphere to eat in (although we did go there around 10PM so wasnt a suprise). They gave the food quickly too which is a bonus. Tastes very similar to Nandos to!

From being a fan of this place to 0 in one foul order. I raved about this shop before, only ever having a rap before. Thought I’d go crazy and order a burger and I’m so insulted with what they served me. For a chicken shop to serve this monstrosity they should be ashamed. Not only an unnatural shaped patty but the taste was that of 1990s primary school standards. Will not part money with them again. They should be ashamed. Mcchicken sandwich would have been less of a failure at 1/4 the price
