10/10 Outstanding Every Time! I've been to Yaadgaar several times, and I can honestly say it's one of the best food experiences I've ever had! The staff are absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The food is nothing short of incredible, whether you're dining in or ordering in large quantities. Every dish is full of flavor and beautifully prepared, and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend Yaadgaar to anyone looking for top-quality food and service. This place is a gem!

I been here and i am very disappointed with the food i came all the way from London to Reading for breakfast and no service sense they have we have to go to tell that we need water or anything else they never put basic things on table and i found hair in my saag paratha and they didn’t apologise or done any discount or anything. In short they just don’t care about their customers. Will recommend you guys to never go their its just wastage of money.

The food we ordered was a heavenly experience! I always look forward to trying the different dishes on the menu. It was absolutely delicious.

Rubbish customer service staff doesn't know how to speak with customers politely friendly and treat customer with respect.i bought a cake for our special occasion this sunday 04.8.2024 & lady who served me was a east European she was working everywhere in shop picking the used dieshes from customer table people who were eating food in shop. before she served me she haven't washed her hand didn't wear any disposable gloves for hygiene purpose.she went to kitchen bring a old cake box for cake didn't packed cake properly when I ask her to put tape on box face at least cake doesn't move in box she was very rude and shouting on me in presence of other customers I was extremely shocked to see her behaviour with me as customer. I would strongly recommend please avoid to go this place .

It was a Saturday evening, all other restaurants were shut so went to Yadgaar for some naan and chicken. Unfortunately it was a waste of money and so expensive. The naan was not naan it was roti and mostly burnt. The chicken tikka roast was the most tasteless I’ve eaten no flavour not even salt. Never liked Yadgaar but was forced to go there as all other very good places were shut. Never again.

My first order was not delivered which wasn’t the restaurants fault! Placed an order again and it was delivered very quickly, food was delicious and even received a sweet treat from the restaurant!

Yaadgaar is such a nice place to grab a few bits when your on road.

If you know yaadgaar from Bradford and Birmingham, don’t even think the service or food matches or is same quality. Customers are spending money and need to be treated well and they don’t need to spend money at your shop they don’t realise this. Really need some training from branches midlands/upnorth. Very disappointed coming here spent money but don’t.

Restaurant is very clean and tables are set out nicely we enjoyed all our food the staff. It's way too salty and one dimensional flavour, not at all what I would expect.

A good Pakistani breakfast , takeaway type and sweet shop with dining facility , service and staff is nice , they have other special Pakistani famous items like jellies chilli milli , cocomo , cake rusk , dhoodh jalebi , slanty, patisa , rabri dhoodh and roohafza etc along with traditional sweets and hot food . Overall recommanded place

I've been here many times. The food is good and the people polite. I would recommend chicken and lamb biryani.

The lamb curry with bones was delicious, full of spices. The peshwari naan and roti were lovely, thank you so much.

It's an ok place for desi food.

Most horrible manager, food, staff you name it. They warm up leftover food in the microwave as well and have no absolute manners. We politely asked them and confronted them about the food but the manager! Absolutely horrible attitude towards his customers and don’t even want to give a star to this restaurant he started threatening to call the police and half the restaurant was against him about how disgusting his behaviour is and the poor staff was trying their best to break it up. Other people eating even agreed as when we went to confront them about the uncooked prat-a and how we’ve been waiting for nearly a hour for the food and he just started talking nonsense and saying he won’t serve us again if we come to the restaurant. Horrible food, manager, and how slow the food was is absolutely shocking. They don’t even deserve a one star. The way they treated us and the horrible food they served us. My god.

Yaadgaar is a lovely restaurant from lovely Pakistan. Located in a great location on the lovely Oxford road the best place in Reading. The menu is packed with variety. And there are a selection of hot drinks including desi tea and pink tea. The decor is a nice green colour. I can’t partake in the food due to slimming world but I’m reliably told that chicken byriani is a speciality. I really hope I can go to Pakistan one day but I’m scared of flying so I might not be able to go. Also you can order by uber eats from here . Overall I would definitely recommend. Shukria.p.s I think the Pakistani language is lovely. It sounds so nice. Shurkria.there are a selection of sweets and salted delicacies. I also really like the neon lights. They are cool.

Yaadgaar’s haleem is best. Also their desi karak chai is authentic Pakistani taste not like sugary stuff we get in Chaiiwala etc. Thank you team Yaadgaar. Enjoy nice fresh haleem then a nice cup of tea with ladoo or jaleebi.

The food here is very good this place is very underrated and deffently try their tea aswell hits the spot after the food and matai normally is majority of time fresh would recommend to try it

I have bought the Rabri milk from the fridge at Yaadgaar at least five separate times, and each time the Rabri milk has been off. It was sour, rotten and even slimy. Even before the sell-by date. Please fix this.

I hate to say this but this place gave me the worst food poisoning ever. I am currently pregnant and have been extremely unwell since eating their food. It’s very strange because when I previously came the food did not give me any sort of food poisoning. I think this was due to me arriving for breakfast when the food was fresh. However I came at around 8PM and ordered alu paratas, and could not stop puking and had severe stomach problems. I ended up at the A&E.

Today Biriyani was completely different and doest look like the resturant one as it was too oily and spicy unusual of their Biriyani with all solid chicken small stuff. Also i didn't recieved the yaadgar bill or was not in yaadgar packet as well.

This Pakistani curry house makes fabulous food and have been coming here weekly for my curry fix. They have all sorts of different flavours to try with a small selection of meats. They also have a wide variety of traditional sweets

Disgusting vegetable curry..potatoes were rock hard. Would not recommend.

We visited Yaadgaar for brunch last weekend. It was my first time. My friend recommended it so I was looking forward to enjoying a different kind of breakfast/brunch. We had halwa puri, aloo parantha, bhindi subzi, masala omelette (they are happy to make simple ones for kids too) and samosa. All the food we ordered tasted yum. This is not pretentious food. Just simple home cooked style deliciousness. It was busy for a Sunday morning as we saw a lot of families dine in too. The staff were really kind and provided good service. Highly recommend!

We discovered this little gem by chance. It’s very simple homemade style delicious Pakistani cuisine which the little ones can enjoy too. We ordered Aloo paratha with omlette and Halwa puri which was the showstopper!! Chicken samosa was also very nice. Must try bakery goods next time. Staff are very helpful and friendly and cater to requests to make a non spicy omelette. Con: no high chairs for babies. Parking: a short walk from Kensington road car park (2hrs free)

Was recommended Yaadgaar by a friend. I was advised to place the order over the phone and give some notice as they were always very busy. A few of us ordered lunch to take away. I had chicken tikka with salad, chilli sauce and mayo in a naan. It tasted very fresh and it was delicious.

Nice saag experience…. Chicken pakoras were best.. Nice breakfast spot.

I ordered food to be delivered from this place and it was horrible the chicken curry is like soup so watery and the naan bread was burn. I do not recommend this place to anyone please check review before ordering.

Our family of 4 just had a delicious dinner here. Samosa, aloo parata, chicken curry, biryani. Very nice and clean from inside too. We will always be coming here.

Apart from their great service, the food is amazing. Good quality. And the chai is delicious, especially during this cold winter.

This restaurant is best for desi food like traditional breakfast of pak & ind . They make awesome halwa puri !!

It's been a consistent experience now . Dine in experience is terrible. They take ages to serve food because they don't have enough staff. I feel sorry for counter staff as they have to handle upset customers all the time because owners are not bothered hiring an additional person for kitchen esp on weekends. Not going back again.

Worst restaurant ever visit in my life order for 2 aloo paratha and it will take 50 minutes and after 50 minutes cancel the order and no recommended to anyone wish to give 0 star .

Hi I came here for breakfast and ordered just two Aloo paratha and tea which almost took 50 minutes. Isn’t it insane??? The staff is so unprofessional. Dirty tables and 0 customer service. I won’t recommend it to anyone else. Bad experience !

The best authentic Pakistani food in Reading. Very reasonably priced. I recommend their Haleem and Chicken Biryani.

I absolutely love all of the food from Yaadgar. It is a very hygienic restaurant and I have never had an issue with any of the fresh food items I've purchased from here. Their chicken madras and garlic chilli chicken is my top favourite. I used to drive all the way to Southall for Jelebi but Yaadgaar's jelebi has saved me a lot of time! :D Their gulab jamun is very very tasty, the best I've found in the UK so far! I wish more options were available on Deliveroo, that is the only thing lacking. The options are very limited compared to what you can get.

Good food, nice staff but can do better with cake rusk, they aren’t make to be that hard to bite.

Very tasty food, although the naan bread could be improved. The order arrived on time. The restaurant did not disappoint!

This is a little gem. Not fancy, but the food is fantastic. They are famous for their biryani. Chicken, mutton or veg, all great. They also have a variety of vegetable dishes you don't see in restaurants but in homes. The naan, and other sides are all perfect. Highly recommended and very reasonable price for dinner or a snack.

Always generous portions and great value for food, enough for 3 meals! Great quality food and always hot on delivery. Highly recommended.

Cannot appreciate enough them being so close to us. we can now have halwa poori and paratha breakfast whenever we want (well a 25 min journey still). Huge portions even for tea. the Desi tea is best. I always have custom made Omelete without any fretting. Halwa Poori exceeded expectation and this is a huge bakery with everything you can think of.

Such a pathetic service and very rude staff. I ordered chicken boneless and 2 Naan And waiting almost 22 minutes and the guy come after me he got his order so I ask them how long I have to wait. And I am surprise when they asking me what is my order I told them again and then I have to wait again, finally my order is ready I go to counter to collect and give feedback that I was thinking to get my order tomorrow so the lady with black glasses answer me we want to give you day after tomorrow but unfortunately they make it ready today. The moment I decide it’s my last day to come Yadgaar not anymore.

Food is nice and very convenient to order if you have guests. However, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The female customer service assistant (wears glasses, without the headscarf) is rude and arrogant to put it politely. Therefore, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Amazing food quality, apart from food i would really appreciate all the staff I have met they did an extremely excellent job, their dealing with the customers is mind blowing. Food is amazing, delivery driver was sweet and order time was amazing. Definitely ordering from here again.

They have good variety of things but quality is ok and could be improved a lot. Service definitely needs lot of improvement. On few occasions I have noticed they are too slow in serving with one lady running around and NOT serving as per the queue order. After waiting for good 15 minutes I had to leave due to one person coming out of kitchen at random to call a lady behind the queue to serve just because he knew her. She happily jumped the queue. I went to Noon Sweets who are polite efficient and respectful.

Food was due for 21:30, driver arrived at 21:25 - Very good food, tasty, healthy, and nutritious - Portions were generous and well sized. - Yaadgar Restaurant kindly supports vulnerable people within the community such as the homeless. I saw them helping people out in lockdown and was really moved. - A true local gem, will buy from you again and again!

Really good quality food for really good value. Only complaint is naan is really bland.

Tried their Halwa poori breakfast and aalu paratha for the first time, decent taste and generous portions for reasonable prices. The only thing I wasn’t happy was the chai, it could have been better though and it didn’t feel like it was large serving. Might go again and try more of their food when in Reading again.

They send something else instead of garlic chilli chicken. Special fried rice was just a egg fried rice. Money shoukd be refunded

The food is bang on point...the service a little slow...the seating area has recently been updated and I liked it.

Special celebration in our office and we had heard good things about Yaadgarr so placed an order for lunch which we collected. Oh my word ! - Food was amazing, still lovely and hot when back into our office in Theale. Every member of the hubba team loved the food, portions were very generous and quality ingredients. Vegetarians catered for very well from the extensive menu. The staff were so lovely to deal with and the team at hubba will be back. Thank you so much Team Yaadgaar

Decent place for take out. Taste, portion sizes and taste all seems right for curries. Starters are ok. Biryanis ok ok.

I'm a regular customer of this restaurant because it never fails to disappoint. Most recent order was amazing chicken biryani, bombay potatoes and samosas. Yum yum yum.

very disappointing chicken karahi was more like chicken salan from yesterday, peshwari naan was coconut naan and kebabs were stone cold, rubbish customer service, both of the ladies looked as if they were having a bad day.

The sweets are usually not as fresh as some competitors , the fried items are also very soggy & oily. They also have a food section, which is most busy. vast asian menu & fair priced. Seems the management is more focused to run this place as an Asian restaurant but a sweets shop.

Very disappointed got a cake for my son and daughter in law for a party I was hosting. Bought it home, it was crumbling, not fresh. Embarrassing in from of guests!! The owner was rude and didn't care when I informed him. Very disappointed never coming again!!!!!!

I always come to Yaadgaar and have been a regular customer since it opened. The staff who serve are really lovely, however the owner is RUDE, disrespectful and unprofessional in his approach. My sister bought a cake for her anniversary celebration. The cake was not fresh as all, it was crumbly, dry and smelled. The cream frosting was rock hard. The owner was informed and didn't care, he was so disrespectful, went to the back of the kitchen when I was still speaking to him and embarrassed the staff member infront of everyone present in the store. The audacity of the owner to tell me theres nothing wrong with the cake. When clearly the staff member even knew it was'nt fresh. First learn to respect your staff and customers!! I wouldn't even give a 1 star rating !!

Absolutely disgusted, this is the 4th time getting a expired cake now! I brought a cake for my anniversary and had all visitors over for a party, whrn we cut the cake it was expired. All the cream was rock solid and when I called the shop back to get it exchanged as had vistirs over waiting they said come in and get cake replaced. When I went back with the cake the owner took the back back and refused to give us a replacement cake. I live 40 mins away and they told me i would get replacement. I explained i had vistors waiting and they didnt care. The owner was so rude and misbehaved with us. Really upset with this service. Feel sorry for the lovely workers as they get shouted and treated badly by the owner. Don't recommend at all!

Cakes used to be amazing back in the day when they were fresh. Brought one today and it was awful. Rock hard as im sure others have mentioned too before me. Ps the staff are so friendly but the manager is rude. We as a family have been using them for years and the last couple of times its been atrocious.
