Honestly the worse meal I’ve had in years. Please do not get the fajita rice bowl, chicken had no seasoning, not even salt and pepper. The girl who brought my food just slammed it down and walked of like a did something to her. I got some chips and cheese 🤣🤣 which was described as sweet chilli chicken fries, (it had no chicken) just chips with a whole bunch of cheese which was evidently left to the side for ages because it was like having a chips pizza! I was having a good day before I came here to watch the football! So yeah I had a rant now let me go grab myself another drink. The one decent thing about this place. I wish I took photos 🤣🤣

Our waitress was saff, she was friendly and the service was fast and the food was great

George was a great host he was extremely support when my support when my friend wasn’t feeling down he offered her water and made sure she got home safe, thanks George! Would recommend the boundary :)

Great place for a night out in Reading as they offer different events throughout the week. Staff knowledgeable and very polite, service quick and food just what you need with a few drinks. Prices are decent and it's located right next to other well-known venues. Will be back!

We brought some customers out for dinner here since they want to see a football game. Even though the game was not initially available, staff (George) went out his way to ensure they be got us the channel. Very helpful, nice food and good friendly service - would definitely recommend.

Having returned here for the first time in a while I found the staff unhelpful, untrained and the overall visit ruined. Buying at the bar, I was charged £12.90 for a single vodka red bull. Despite querying this price the staff where adamant. I then showed the staff there online menu prices, if ordering from the app with table service, this costs just £4.50, most of the time but does show it is discounted from £9.10..still less than the bar and making this the most expensive single shot with half a can of red bull in reading. Staff did not care, said the price is the price and if the till says it then it's right and then walked off.

Booked for the Super Bowl. One of a few places where you didn’t have to pay a deposit which was nice. Good selection of beers and ciders. Would’ve been nice if it was more busy but was good to watch it there anyway. Staff friendly too.

Loaded fries were amazing! Service was okay, having to search for your own reserved table is a bit annoying as you’re looking at other people’s tables in case they took it by accident. Although, food and drinks did come quick. Regardless had a great night for the Super Bowl.

Great place to meet friends and watch sports

Mia was an a amazing waitress when we came in for our bottomless brunch. She always made sure we didn't go thirsty or hungry and the vibes were great. TT

This is a decent town centre pub with pool table and good drinks selection. Shows live sports in booths with tvs fitted. I have been here loads of times and never tried the food. I did this time and I’m warning everyone don’t waste your money it’s shocking!

If you've booked your Christmas meal here, ditch your deposit and go elsewhere. McDonalds will offer you better food, better service and some consistency, at least. The worst Christmas meal I've had out by far. Buddha bowls here are not Buddha bowls here. Gravy is served over ice. Roast potatoes look exactly like skinny fries. Chef Mike(rowave) did an appalling job, and presented the inverse of the menu descriptions. AI would do a Christmas party meal better.

Whatever you do don't eat here. Terrible food, terrible service. Staff xmas meal, most peoples food was inedible staff offered no discount or apology.

Me and my friend went to the bottomless brunch or just ‘brunch’ you could call it as it was not bottomless at all. We were only allowed 1 drink every 15 minutes and had to finish our drinks before getting a new one. We would not have come if it said that online. But it doesn’t say that anywhere. Overall definitely won’t be going again. Not worth the money or the hassle.

I previously visited the camberley branch to have bottomless brunch with my friends which we really enjoyed. Therefore, we thought we would come to your Reading branch for a change of scenery to enjoy the same brunch we knew and loved. Unfortunately, upon booking in which we had a muslim friend who cannot drink, we were informed that they could not sit with us unless they wanted to partake in the brunch. After requesting the price of the non alcoholic alternative brunch we were told it was the same. Obviously our friend did not want to pay that much money for one brunch dish and soft drinks. We arrived at the venue and came in 10 minutes late as I was waiting right outside the venue for my friend who was stuck in traffic. The server came outside and asked if we were there for bottomless brunch. To which I responded “yes”, she said “do you know you’re ten minutes late” I said “yes sorry, I was just waiting outside for my friend.” she said “okay im just having a fag break but you’ve forfeited your deposit as you didn’t call or email to let me know you’ll be late, go inside you’re the second table on the left, i’ll have a conversation with you guys when i come in”. To which we did and sat down. The sever came in and explained the menu to us and that she would come over once every 15 minutes to take our order. We had a glass of Prosecco to start. Once we drank we sat waiting and then asked for the next one, she said “i won’t forget about you, i’ll monitor and come up to you every minutes for drinks so you don’t get double parked”. We completely understood however not having two drinks at a time, however, we were waiting without drinks for some periods of time. When we went to the Camberley branch, they brought out drinks once we finished ours. This “15 minute rule” is also not advertised on the menu or online. I requested for the manger to send it to me after the meal however I haven’t received anything. I would like to see where it says this. I don’t understand why it’s advertised as a “bottomless brunch” if you’re only allowed drinks every 15 minutes. I also do not understand where in the terms and conditions it states that you’re only allowed to have one drink every 15 minutes. I completely understand being refused service if too drunk however, being denied service for a deal that’s supposedly “bottomless” is absurd. You need to change the terms and conditions and state “one drink every 15 minutes” so it is a maximum 8 drinks per 2 hours offer, not a “bottomless” brunch as you had to wait with empty glasses until the next 15 minute increment. Perhaps, you have updated the terms and conditions however, upon checking the menu in person and website online we could not see this stated. Upon asking for the Bill we requested if we could have another drink as we were asked to pay at 2:45 pm. Our booking was 1 pm to 3:30 pm we were asked to pay at 2:45 pm we were refused another drink and our server asked if we would like to speak to the manager to responded “Yes”, we waited for around 10 minutes, when the server came back with no manager explained the situation to us whilst tapping rhythmically on the table. I explained how firstly, we could not speak to our muslim friends on the same table and they would not drink the alcohol as it was haram. The server responded, “that’s brilliant i loved that you used haram”, said sarcastically, “my sister is a muslim”. We were infuriated after this comment and left your establishment with no plans of coming back and very displeased. Additionally, we asked for a copy of a receipt so which our server crossed her name off of. Therefore, please could we be emailed a copy of this receipt for our records.

Very disappointed with our meal. Awful burger using cheap ingredients. It arrived very quickly and was just about warm so I wondered how long it had been sat in their kitchen. Chips and lager were ok. When the staff asked how our meal was I told them it was bad and they never made any effort for a refund or to even offer anything else. I won’t be returning here.

I wanted fish and chips but they had no fish. My sister and I both had burger and chips with cheese and bacon. Burger very poor, terrible quality. Chips were good. I told the girl when she asked about our food. She said hope it's better on your next visit. No offer of any sort of refund. Definitely would never go back.

went here for a night out and had a decent night, Abi was really cool to talk to while she was serving us. good atmosphere and service overall which made the night so much better

Myself and some friends came in for a brunch recently, we were a little unsure as we hadn't been here before but we really enjoyed our visit, our server, abi, was really attentive and explained how it all worked. Thanyou for a lovely time.

Been here a couple of times and had really good experiences. The service is great, Abi always has a smile on her face and is easy to have a nice conversation with making it an all around better experience. Always a good atmosphere too! Never really eaten here before but I hear the food is great.

Went for a bottomless brunch. Food was amazing but spent most of our time going between feeling under pressure to down our drinks, or sitting for up to 20 mins with empty glasses as we could only have a refill every 15 mins ,if our drink wasn't finished we missed that round had to wait another 15 minutes before having another one. Didn't get our first drink until 1.15 then our last drink was offered at 2.45 but because we still had a drink we missed that round at 3 we were told that was it . Had a total of 4 drinks each not bottomless, not relaxing , not worth the money . Much better bottomless brunches around Reading . Service was friendly and I get they were just following the rules but the rules are a bit silly . Basically down your drink every 15 minutes or sit with an empty glass .would not recommend

Nice enough time and staff were great but lots of the options on the brunch/drinks menu were actually unavailable on the day. Also drinks not truly bottomless as there is an un-advertised 15 min rule, we "missed" out on a last drink as were told by staff pub got too busy to attend us. Drinks and food that we did have were good.

Noodles (the staff member, not food (Zoe)) She gave me great conversation while ordering and even for longer while she had some time. I will be back for that alone. Handled everything perfectly and couldn't ask for anything more. This is what is missing nowadays, actual communication with customers.

The food was amazing. Very tasty and the bar tenders were amazing too. Overall, the experience was very positive.

Worst pub meal for a very long time. I should have been alerted by there being no other customers. Had mac’n’cheese which was very mediocre, but the doughballs had clearly been lying around for several weeks as they were rock solid and thus inedible. The supposed “dressed” salad didn’t look to have ever seen a dressing. A disgrace although they boast on their website that they are the best.

23/07/24 - Had a good time for a couple hours, used the toilet at 8:15 and seeming they had 2 large loo roll canisters both were empty even though they were required. On exiting saw nobody had signed the sheet for 4 hours spoke to the manager who laughed when I explained the situation. He explained he checked the toilets every time he went to the office being every half an hour but didnt have a pen to sign. I explained how 2 whole large rolls can't have gone in the space of half an hour seeming 6 people in. He explained his colleague checked and put 2 rolls in. All lies just him trying to say he did his job. He said he didn't pull the paper to see, yet there is an indication on the side, bad management and poor accountability. Poor the laughing in my face when actually he was just awful at managing a pub

The drink options are great, but the food was pretty awful. We had dough balls, wings, and the vegan Italian job burger. Why on earth was the pizza sauce on the top of the whole burger? The menu does not make even a slight suggestion that this would be the case. It’s near impossible to eat, but when you bite into it the pizza sauce bursts through the holes in the melted cheese and covers your face/goes up your nose. The fries were lukewarm on arrival. And the dough balls were so solid I thought my friend had cracked their tooth on one! They ended up just leaving them. Very disappointing visit. The bartender seemed lovely though- I didn’t catch her name but she was short with dark hair.

Really cool sports bar in town. One of the few which have a pool table, came on Thursday and there was a deal on craft beers, nice spot in Reading to come to.

It's super nice in there. The vibe is good, too, and the outside bit is really nice. They had really good selections on ciders and gins and some vodkas that I hadn't seen before. Definitely going back.

Visited the bar on the 14th of March for a quick drink after work, tapped my phone to make payment but was told it didn't go through, even though I had a payment confirmation. Was asked to tap again so I obliged but asked what would I do if I was indeed charged twice and the server at the time said just to pop back in and it would get sorted. When I saw I had indeed been double charged I was went back to the bar two days later to be informed I needed to contact my bank... This has nothing to do with my bank and is incredibly bad customer service. Told there was nothing they can do at their level, this is clearly incorrect and frankly lazy making this the customers issue. I want someone to contact me ASAP with a resolution to this.

I had a really lovely evening here last week. Adam was charming and really knew his stuff and took great care of me and my friend. This is a new regular spot for me and I will be recommending it to all my friends! See you soon!

Horrible service staff were so rude and quite disrespectful when just asking some questions about coming in to the facility and got met with degenerate behaviour!

One of the best pubs I go to in Reading. Staff are always in a good mood and never have a bad day with any of them. Food always prompt and cooked to perfection every time. If I could give a better score, it would be done. <3
