Premier Inn Reading South (Reading Gateway, M4/J11) hotel in Reading

Staff in the restaurant were very nice and playful with our twin girls

Service was not great, but the room and location was perfect

The location was spot on for what I needed. The room was OK. However, the paint was peeling on the wall, the room key to switch electric on in room had to be gentle, as it was coming away from the wall. Had dinner deal... chips, chips or chips seemed to be the majority of the choices. Had the lasagne just to try and get away from the chips... tasted very clinical.

Had a nice room, and for the first time in a while I had a good night sleep :)

Very nice room, only stayed for a night but can't complain the staff are very good and extremely helpful, great place to stay if you're knackered like I was, restaurant on site , food a little pricey but very good, we paid for a breakfast on booking cheaper than paying as you go, we were very impressed and we will use it again if we need to.

If you stay here DO NOT buy the meal deal. Impossible to get a table we were left standing at the entrance for 20 mins only to be told to come back in an hour. Not because there were no tables but because there weren't enough staff, to cook or serve our food . We ended up eating at Burger King opposite, even though we had already paid for food that was seemingly unavailable. Totally unacceptable.

We've stayed here a few times whilst visiting family, it's a great place in an easy postion.

Stayed here many times visiting my son in university, grate location just off m4 staff so friendly especially Louise always made to feel welcome

Reception staff were not attentive and didn’t even smile when he served us on arrival. The room was standard and didn’t feel like a family room, just two small beds pushed up against the double bed. This was less room than a lot of the other premier inn hotels we have stayed at. The hotel bar and restaurant closed at 9:30pm without any notice, so if you want to stay up late then maybe choose another hotel nearby. Positives were the lovely host / cleaning staff in the restaurant at breakfast time and the free parking.

This is a good clean hotel. My wife and I've used it a couple of times when we've had an early flight from Heathrow

Staff didn't know the rules with regard to the food area and were contradicting each other.

Rooms are adequate, need cleaning. DO NOT EAT IN THE EVENING. Service was absolutely shocking and the new member of staff was treated so disrespectfully but the others. Wrong orders, waiting 30 minutes for drinks, another 20 minutes for the food order to me taken and then had to send all the food back

Stayed at the hotel for 10 days the staff was consistent with good customer service Thank you Adelein for always helping with a smile

We're able to checkin early as event times were midday to midnight. Very pleased, back again and just brilliant. Thank you

Didn't even manage to get into any room as the accessible room that was booked and email confirmation received was was cancelled by the venue after driving 5 hours to get to it !!!!

Edit: for the first time I ordered breakfast at this hotel today. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I will leave the overall review for the hotel at 5 stars as the breakfast is technically via the attached Beefeater. Breakfast was absolutely terrible across the board. A really convenient Premier Inn. Close to the motorway, and sharing a car park with several restaurants - both fast food and otherwise. The rooms are exactly what you expect from Premier Inn - clean, comfortable, straightforward

What a souless place this was, 5 floors of rooms, 2 lifts only one working. Issued key card made my way to floor 4 to find it didn't work, back down then back up. The beefeater attached was dreadful both food wise and service, 2 young people taking orders ( or not), stood at host desk for 10 minutes but no one came to take me to a table, I finally sorted, and sat down to a cold breaded mushrooms starter, followed by a dreadful grilled chicken (parts) main. The following night even though I had a meal deal I went over to burger King. Avoid if you possibly can.

Great place! Always clean, quiet, comfortable. Beafeater restairant has great food downstairs!
