Service good but no tables were cleared and the toilet was disgusting.

Great staff , great coffee and value for money . I would rather have a fresh coffee than a machine coffee . I consume min 2-3 coffee a day . Addiction hey ho .

Run down, like most Costas these days to be honest; DIrty worn out chairs. The window was filthy, so was not pleasant to look outside. Coffee was bland. Had to clean my own table. There were plates and mugs scattered everywhere for a while until a waitress came around. Was very depressing sitting there so it wasn't long until I left. The only nice thing was that staff was attentive and friendly.

I’m not sure if the delivery guy was the same person who delivered one of my other orders (which was also missing food), but one of the main items were missing again, and, once more, I was still charged. Please fix this because it’s getting tiring.

A great outlet at a very convenient location in Reading town centre. Food and drinks are of good quality and service fast. The female barista at the till was with a clinical attitude - no smile, stern look, and not so welcoming style!

Overall, it was great! I asked for it to be delivered to the staff at the front door, and it was! The food was perfect and it was just a good experience in general.

I ordered a large drink and it was short of that!!!

After collecting my coconut flat white here today, I proceeded to (unintentionally) throw it on the floor. Despite being very embarrassed, I was keen to clean up the mess, but the lovely staff insisted that they do it - and my drink was promptly replaced without fuss. Top service.

Very poor service. Went to get my free birthday slice of cake , service was awful. Language and communication issues.

I use this Costa often and always get the same level of service. The staff at this outlet are at the top of there game and have customer service down to a fine art. The drive through is never congested and the restaurant is clean and comfortable.

This is a lovely, and big Cafe with plenty of seating both inside and out. There are enough power sockets, so that people such as myself, can do some laptop work. There are plenty of choice of food and drink, however all the food is finger food no meals. The good thing is that Costa will make the drink in your own takeaway mug if requested, as i have done on several visits here. This branch is located three quarters the way up broad street and is a 2 mins walk from the oracle shopping centre and still in the hart of reading town centre

Every time I go here the service is very high tier all of them are lovely, the drinks are always high standard I often get iced drinks but when I have the hot drinks they are still of top quality. Could not recommend this place more

Busy location, lots of customers and children who were a little loud. Not good for a quiet conversation or relax. Coffee was good however and staff are friendly and professional.

Unfortunately the person serving me used the meat knife to cut my vegetarian food, which I didn't realise until I found ham stuck to it half way through. Was very disappointed as I am strictly vegetarian and felt that I had eaten contaminated food.

Cozy atmosphere and amazing hot drinks. Highly recommend the chai latte. The staff members are always cheerful and friendly all the time. Can never go wrong with costa! ♡

Lovely café to spend time with friends or alone. Also, it is a good place to work with your laptop (if you don't get easily distracted by other people ☺️).

Visiting the coffee ☕️ today I had very bad experience when a staff member very bully people around asking about what are you looking at for no reason I was shocked really, never seen eny think like that before,

I visited before 9am and was surprised at how busy it was. There was a mix of people in the store, some sitting in and others just passing through. There was only 1 person working but he kept up with the orders so no one had to wait long. There is plenty of seating and the toilets at the back of the store are kept clean. This is a well kept Costa with friendly staff in the centre of Reading.

Toilets are disgusting, a common theme for COSTA. Really dislike the fact the people making and serving are responsible for cleaning the toilet. Surely COSTA could have a mobile cleaning team moving from one COSTA to the next in a small area then go back round again?

Such a friendly branch...so good for escaping and catching up on work or reading a good book!

Poor - cappuccino served scalding hot. Almond croissant was stale. Overall not to be recommended.

Sandi was the one serving me and she made excellent recommendation. She was very patient yet very fast when making the drink and made me feel valued as a customer. Although there were a lot of children crying and making all kind of noises, once they left it was a very pleasant experience.

Popped in for breakfast on way to an appointment, time was early so nice and peaceful to enjoy my flat white and toast, store was clean and tidy, the lady that served me was very friendly and pleasant ( new how to do a good cup of coffee)

We had a wonderful coffee after shopping and the staff were efficient and friendly. I loved my coconut latte and I would always recommend this place to everyone who loves coffee. They just need to tell you about the speciality blends they have on offer.

We had a really nice mocha here on New Year's day. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. We sat by the window and watched the world go by.

Too much syrup in the coffee, to the point of being undrinkable

We ordered 2 pieces of cake which were not part of the order…. And you have charged us for it..

Poor service specially if you serve by sandi and chandra ,missed order twice ,you will get only take away cup if you are there 20 min before the closing time .if you order a cake you wont get cutlery and a plate just in a bag,because you are visiting near to the closing hours.

Visited late on a weekday morning just as the lunchtime rush was beginning. We managed to get a table for 5 by clearing a table for ourselves. Good drinks. Standard Costa offering. We didn't eat.

more than half of our coffee was spilled delivery driver said he was sorry about it for a while it's ok but the packaging wasn't done well, we couldn't drink our coffee !

Nice to chill out for a coffee with friends

Just seen a woman CHANGE HER BABY’S DIAPER ON A COSTA TABLE. She used a Costa tray and staff didn’t say a word just let her crack on wiping her baby’s bum in front of mortified customers. People actually walked out open-mouthed. The table wasn’t wiped down and another woman went and sat at the diaper table. Never mind c*vid this poor woman has diaper germs all over her coffee. 0 stars

Busy. Staff unattentive. Didn't get the drink I asked for, staff simply not listening to customers or each other. On this occasion they lacked leadership, and direction. Lots of dirty crockery building up on tables where people wanted to sit, so made piles on the tabled in order to sit down and use the tables. There are better stores of Costa, butter Market and the station are far superior branches.

Absolutely gutted and disappointed that their hot chocolate isn't vegan, one very sad 6yr old who couldn't simply have a hot chocolate. All this hype for non dairy milk yet the hot chocolate has milk in🤦🏼‍♀️
