This place will take some beating, never ever had a bad meal. Staff lovely as always and portion sizes are huge. I used to go here 15 / 16 years ago and its always been great.

Absolutely amazing to see that cod n all are back to what they used to be. Staff are brilliant, can’t remember the owners name but he is back and seriously making a massive difference. Hope other feel the same we will be to our regular weekend chippy now one very happy girl 🥰

Not like you used to be portion gone smaller prize very expensive I understand but the put less chips it's not understanding I won't go thier anymore

Would give a better review if the lady with glasses was more pleasant, very bad attitude and very rude. Always nice food though.

Always go here but last three visits have seen smaller portions and poorer quality . The chips are full of eyes or are black.

If you like big portions then this is the place to go for fish and chips Nice fresh food to but we usually use it as I'm disabled and they deliver. There are not many choosy in crewe that do but out if the ones that do this is the best ,by far. Fast free delivery and trust me 1 portion of chips is more than enough for 2 adults and a large chips will easily do a family of 4 good size fish to

After ordering from justeat our food arrived minus the chips, after calling the shop the driver swiftly returned with our complete order which was no fault of the shop I must say anyway after the confusion I would definitely call the shop rather than justeat, the staff are very friendly and will endeavour to sort out any issues, now to the food we had the large fish, chips and curry sauce I really can't fault it in any way except that we both struggled to finish our meals value for money definitely, really large portions, and extremely tasty we will order again but through the shop great experience and as a chef I couldn't do any better well done all and looking forward to our next meal but maybe just a normal fish next time 😂 😂 😂

Use this place now and again for a treat and it never disappoints so thought it time to give a review. My family usually have fish, chips peas and curry and it is always freshly cooked, hot never greasy food or too much batter on fish. Reasonably priced good quality food. Highly recommended

Always had full value here! Anyone who moans is either at the wrong one or got no patience,dont 4get covid restrictions!!!

The fish was the worst. Thick deep dark brown batter, the fish was shrivelled and dry. I literally cut the fish in half and the grease was dripping, the fish was like rubber. It was 100% re fried. From working in a chippy when fish is re friend it dries abs shrivels. Upon taking it back I was accused of “eating half of it” I literally tasted a corner of the batter and it was like burnt dirty grease. No apology, nothing, the woman just walked up to the till and out the money on the counter. Working customer facing myself I’m always the most polite I can be with people! But definitely did not get that back. Avoid this chippy, don’t waste your money, go a decent chippy. I usually go Wathall Street and stick to there from now on.

Basic great fish and chips! Lovely staff, great meal deals a must go on a Friday night! My only recommendation is spice the batter up, maybe a Cajun batter as a alternative?

Portions of chips are huge and really good - even more so when they are just out of the fryer. I always scoff a load whilst I am plating everyone's food. Curry sauce is really good too. You know they must be doing something right when the queues are frequently out of the door

Staff love to talk nonsense to their favourites whilst making others wait in line for mediocre, greasy tosh. If you want poor food and your ears to be equally insulted, this is definately the eatery for you.

Very large portions, such a waste of food when it is so much more than one person can eat. Had battered sausage and chips, drippping with grease and not at all pleasant to eat.

Just been to Cod n all in Crew and the fish and chips were absolutely superb and all the family really enjoyed them. We ordered a large cod and chips, kebab, veggie burger & chips (for me) and 2 mini fillet fish. Something for all the family!! We were served efficiently and the staff are really friendly. The owner was frying which was great, a nice small family business. Will definitely be back.

My dad stopped by here on the way home and i ordered a sausage and chips. My dad ended up ordering a battered sausage instead but I thought it was fine. It wasn’t until an hour after eating I became violently ill. All night I was kept up while my stomach thought there was more to expel. I could not eat much for a week. I can’t smell a fish and chips now without remembering this.The rest of my family was fine though.

I have been a customer to the Cod'N'All for the past 15-20 years and in that time I can honestly say I have never had a bad one! The staff are so polite and always have been. Two ladies that work there, Tracy and Olwyn have worked there for as long as I can remember, and they always smile and say hello - manners cost nothing remember.As for the food, its divine. The chips are always cooked perfectly, light and fluffy on the inside and a little bit crispy on the outside and the fish always taste so fresh. As for the portion sizes, bloody hell, a large for £2.40 will feed a family of 6 and then some! Me and my partner had one between some and the dog even ended up with a bowl full! You can tell that a place is valued by its locals when the queue is forming out of the door every night and whenever I drive past this is the case. One of the best, if not the best chippies in Crewe.

This has been our family chippy for many years, the portions are absolutely massive! The price is cheap for the amount of food you come out with. Never had a problem with the food, always top standards!

Well where can i start...... oak island is brilant as long as you love snakes and silly make up curses. But suppose thats oat island for YOU. My advice would be dont go into to tree area the green snakes are very toxic infact my gf got bit by 1 and for rest of the holiday sent in hospital because the anti venom is very dangerous and nearly killed her. Dont get me wrong they wouldnt just attack no no reason my gf put her hand on a branch. So they said it was her own fault. On land snakes everywhere. And theres no tteasure no mstter how much they tell you there is. Its a track and a half but i think they shoulf be more trained. Anyway have a good holiday but there 2 different kinds of green snake. One will always be in the trees. And other on ground. And that just 2 of them there around 25 species not all are toxic but can ypu trust the guilds. There's really nice prople but to be honest i knew more than them.

Had e large fish, large portion of chips and a large portion of peas. Habe to say portions were huge but not portion sizes didn't distract from quality. Fish was lovely with gorgeously light batter and big flakes of fish. Chips were very moreish and peas very tasty. Can't wait to tr the Donner meat and chips which the customer before me was having and looked lush!! Very nice indeed

Went on Friday for chippy tea, very nice portion size is good, their fish cakes are so tasty best one I've had 😊 and their mushy peas, I don't normally eat mushy peas but cod n all are so good!! Would deff recommend 👍

We have always enjoyed our meal from there. Generous portions and nicely cooked fish make it a must have every time we fancy fish and chips. The downside are the massive queues but that say something about how good the chippie is. A small chips...

Great value, great size portions and good quality. You will have to queue depending on the time you go but I always find it is worth it

Certainly the best chippy in Crewe. Portions are amazing and cheap to boot. Good work cod n all. Staff are brilliant and very quick to serve. Gets super busy around 6 pm but well worth the 15 minute wait. Try the chicken meat, you will not regret it.

HUGE portions, great value. Always a queue into the road when i drive past. Usually get the mini fish and chips deal as you get a good amount of chips and half a fish.

Well, you can't say you don't get value for money here!!We had large chips for 2 of us... there was way too much! There were enough left to feed at least another couple!The next time we went, we had a small portion... and we still had left overs.I guess some people can mange to polish off both sizes, but we couldn't.The Staff are always friendly. I've been using this chippy on & off since I was old enough to go out on my own, during all its different name & owner changes.

I went here the other night and I knew that it was going to be a wait as it always is but I'm usually very happy with the results. unfortunately this time I have to say that the service was poor with the assistants too busy talking between themselves had to ask me twice what is was I wanted as they had forgotten. Fair enough these things happen and to be honest not just here. The food when I arrived home did not taste like their usual standard from big lumps in the gravy to very very gritty chips although their portion size is always fantastic I really didn't want to finish it. I am a regular customer or should I say was and I am by no means telling them how to do their job but I think they need to sample the food before making someone pay for unsatisfactory gritty food. It may be a while until I visit again.

Never getting my custom again!! I don't mind waiting for my food, but when one of the women serving is nattering to her friend for 10 minutes while there is a queue out of the door then it's not acceptable! I am then served by a woman that looked as though she didn't want to be there! She didn't mange to crack a smile the entire time I was in there. It seems the words "thank you" were also too hard to muster. I got home and was even more annoyed to feel what tasted like a hand full of sand on mine and my partners chips. I am still finding hard grains in my teeth as I write this. "Cod n All".....more like "Not at All"!

Been loads of times and can never fault this chippy, have a local chippy 100yds from me and is nowhere near as good as this one so would rather travel from the other side of town to get a decent portion of quality fish and chips.

Never been let down by Cod'N'All. Whenever we are having chips (work/friends or family) we always come here. The portions are massive and taste great as well as reasonably priced. Best chippy in the area by a mile

The one and only place to purchase a good classic chips. The portion size are incredible. A small chips was about 2.00 something however was more then enough to feed a family of 6. Best place to go

Always have an amazing take away from here, best chip shop in crewe in my opinion! Not too expensive, very low in price actually! However my only criticism would be that the staff chat amongst themselves and at times it does make you feel like you're interrupting them. Great overall though

Big portions and reasonable price are biggest draw to this popular chip shop. The staff do natter a lot which adds to the wait time and can be frustrating.

Great value for money chip shop, always receive huge portions for a reasonable price compared to most other chip shops. Gets extremely busy so expect a wait. Only criticism is staff chatting amongst themselves literally whilst serving, I think this is very rude when you feel like your interrupting them. Also, the car park is awful, pot holes is an under statement. besides this all round goof chips shop one of the best in crewe.
