The owner jacob armani, and his wife are insane, completely mad, I've never met a couple like them before, resort to verbal and physical violence when told things they don't like to hear, very dangerous people. AVOID this place as these poisonous excuse for humans should not be welcomed in ANY community.

Friendly little cafe behind the main shops in Guildford. Lovely to get a friendly greeting which didn’t come from any of the other cafes we stopped at. The food was really tasty and presented well.

I asked if a cake contains nuts and the owner could not tell me if it did or not. Some of the labels did not look correct and I would be very worried choosing something here if I had an allergy. I also asked where his coffee blend originates from - he didn’t know that either.

I’ve been a regular customer of Cocco since Jacob (owner) started the business. The coffee and the cakes are superb. It’s a quiet environment so it’s great to take friends and chat while enjoying fantastic coffee and cakes! I highly recommend you go ASAP!

We had a bit of a rollercoaster time at the Seahorse. We arrived early so asked to sit in the bar area (with our dog) but informed them we had a booking for dinner. We had lovely cocktails that were delicious and well presented. At the time of our booking, we asked to move to our table for dinner but were told to stay in the bar area as the restaurant was not dog friendly - however, the booking we had made on the website was specifically for “The Restaurant Area (dog friendly)”. The bar area has a few dining tables (rather than bar tables) and so we asked to move there to eat. We presume this is the area our booking was actually for but are not certain. From there we had to order food at the bar which was not a problem however the gentleman behind the bar came across very rude and we felt like an inconvenience despite disclosing that we had a dog when making the booking and booking a specific dog friendly dining area. There was a great singer playing during our stay but as we were in the bar area it was very loud for a dinner. We had delicious starters (scallops and prawns). For mains, I ordered the Duck and Pineapple salad which had NOTHING on the menu to imply it was spicy, however the pineapple was incredibly spicy and I was unable to eat it. I mentioned this to the restaurant staff who promptly and kindly offered me an alternative. It was slightly frustrating as I had to wait for my food whilst my partner ate and visa-versa, however the alternative meal was very tasty (rotisserie chicken). I would like to say that Narren our server was a lovely man, extremely helpful and dealt with the issues very well!

Great restaurant, tasty food and good customer service. Got seated quickly and didn't wait long for the food.

Much of the food tasted like it was removed from the freezer and chucked into the oven. Orders were forgotten about, made wrong, or extremely late. Venue very nicely situated.
