Felt like the best meal as a broke uni student.

Like your typical nandos, decent good, has two floors, toilets are several flights of stairs up with no disabled access. Gets extra points as they have bottomless rooibos tea unlike most other nandos branches.

As a South African I can confirm this branch does have a really good taste and the chicken is really juicy and moist. The disappointment was from the young tanned lady. I was served a beer with a hot empty glass, I assumed it just came out the dishwasher. So as we had a table for two there wasn’t enough space for the glass as we ordered the platter, drinks and had 2 plates for our meals so I politely put the unused glass on the table behind me. This young lady abruptly approached me and told me to not put the glass on the table and rather call them to remove it. I said, ok and she walked off mumbling to herself that the table is clean and I put a glass on the table. I whole heartedly recommend that she either undergo further training or be removed from a customer facing role as she comes across as quite rude and therefore spoiled my meal which otherwise would’ve been a good visit since it was our first visit after living in South Africa for the passed 8 years. The taste is similar to South Africa but the service is definitely not so!

Staff named Cecile is very kind and helpful. Shes making sure that our family is enjoying our food and always comforting us.

After being a regular at the Nando’s in Dubai, I was excited to finally try them out in Vancouver. The food was delicious as always and it was exciting to try out all the different sauce flavors. Our server, Cecile, was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back the next time we are in Vancouver!

Food is great, service is excellent. Cecile made sure we are taken care of. We will definitely be back for more yummy tasting peri peri chicken!

I had a great experience at Nando's! The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked, with the signature spice blend adding the right amount of kick. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, creating a fun and casual dining experience. My server, Abie, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this spot!

Love going to Guildford Nandos - polite and friendly staff. We are vegetarian and still find lots of options. Favourite is peri peri chips, pitta bread with hummus and chickpea wraps. Used to love bottomless yoghurt which is no longer there. Wish they bring it back. Will definitely visit again as it’s a family hang out place.

A fantastic taste experience marred by the service. Set over two floors the restaurant has plenty of seats and is very easy access from the centre. I would score this restaurant very highly had it not been for the frustrated door staff. I also witnessed a very heated exchange from another set of customers regarding the same staff member. Management should hopefully improve the situation by either redeploying or dealing with the cause of these confrontations. (The WiFi and app were both not working which also added to a negative experience. Staff said it’s common. So why not fix it?)

Chicken tastes like chicken and garlic bread tastes like garlic bread. An ordinary restaurant, nothing more or less.

The food came within 2 minutes of ordering and half of it was cold, not to mention the incredibley small portions. Very disappointing

After more than one year of being in Guildford, we finally managed to go there. We had heard of Nando's quite a lot, but just didn't go there due to various reasons There was a wait of 30 minutes, and we were pondering if we should go to some other outlet like before. Anyways, we decided to wait and finally made it to Nando's. The staff who attended us was surprised that it was our first time. He explained how it works, and where to get the sauces and cutlery. The menu is a limited one, focused on chicken. We ordered a boneless platter and grilled chicken wrap. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. The food was presented in an appealing manner, and the Sauces is what makes the food come to life. The first few bits were awesome with experiences of different flavours, after that it felt flat. I think the menu doesn't do justice to their core area, which is their sauces. They could add other items which elevates their food... Will I go their again, yes for the sauces. They could probably have a fixed menu, and a few other items to experiment with the sauces. Based on the feedback they could expand their menu.

What is the fuss about Nando's? The food was average, the service limited and we were squashed in like pilchards in a can. But my 12-year-old loved it. Not sure why and he wasn't either. But he was not alone: the place was heaving and there was a queue to get in when we left.

So I get its a 'eat it and get out' kinda place but sadly its how you are treated. I was told to sit on a stool that was very uncomfortable (Im 60). I wasnt asked if that was ok. So when i moved obviously an issue. Then it was my fault apparently that I should have said when booking. How should I know? Waitress continued to make out it was my fault and i was 'lucky' another table was available. Nandos 'especially Guildford' will be lucky to see me again. 2 of us so a table is potential loos of bums on seats right, forget comfort. I know im just one of thousands as you will always be busy right? Interestingly you share bad experiences more than the good ones! And I did share and got similar feedback. Shame. I visited my niece living in Surrey three weeks ago & we decided to go to Nando’s. We don’t have this in California. Rochie, our server was very good & helpful, explained what they had & he was very accommodating. Food was how I expected… their chicken was so tender & so savory. They have the best sauce. Peri peri sauce is our favorite. We are planning to ho back!

Had dinner on July 13, 2024 There was 30 minutes wait for chicken but in the end it’s arrived within 20 minutes. Food was as usual but condition of restaurant was very poor cleaning wise. There was garbage underneath our table, generally garbage seen on floor. Men’s washroom had such a small sink that most of the water was dropping on the floor when washing hands. Condition of bathroom cleaning as bad as dinning hall.

Very busy, long trek from downstairs up to the toilets, chicken was a little dry, it was an ok experience, nothing special but better than Horsham Nandos.

What’s not to love about Nando’s? The food is always good, reasonably priced and fast. The service is friendly and efficient, and it always delivers the 🔥 The Nando’s in Guildford is quite small in comparison to some I’ve been to before, so it does usually mean you have to put your name down for a table, but they turn tables around pretty quickly so it doesn’t take long. If you’re looking for a quick and fairly cheap bite to eat whilst out in Guildford - you can’t go wrong with Nando’s!

We were waiting for food for ages and there were very little people in the restaurant all of which already had their meals, there was so much food waiting on the counter and staff were just wondering around. Disappointed

Terrible service, took far too long for a simple meal I’m appalled and disgraced by the staff, our food was sat on the side getting cold as the staff were just wondering around looking clueless. Extremely overpriced for the bad quality of food the chicken was dry and bland the food felt very cheap but costs way too much. Disappointed and dissatisfied NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!

Food is just like every other Nando’s. Service however is very much sub par. Toilet not maintained so if you need to make a bowel movement, you’ll need to take a short walk to the canal to do your business.

This is my first time at any Nando’s and it was fantastic. The service is quite possibly the best I have ever had in a sit down semi-fast food style place. Abie and Jeff were absolutely amazing. Jeff walked me through what to order with excellent suggestions. The food came extremely fast and it was delicious. I am not in the area often but I’ll definitely be back!

First time Id ever been to Nando's but was a lovely experience. The food was well presented, tasted amazing, the atmosphere was chatty but relaxed and overall clean and the staff were polite and well presented.
