I called 10 minutes after it was supposed to be here and they said it will be with us shortly and it was enroute. it then showed up another 50 minutes after that call, making it an hour late overall.

The quality of the curry wasn’t as we’d hoped. The sauces were very watery and there wasn’t as much chicken as we’re used to. The rice and bread were perfect although I suppose these are hard to get wrong. The delivery and service was second to none.

Fantastic food and service. We loved it here and will be back again soon.

Butter lamb had very little flavour and the bhuna was watery but tasted ok. Not overly impressed.

We've been rotating round the 20 or so curry houses in the hastings area over the last 3 years and this was one of the worst. Multiple people said it was the worst curry they'd ever had. Totally, completely tasteless with no redeeming qualities.

I have ordered from here 3 times, the food is always good. Never had any issues with orders and is always delivered on time.

Missed part of the order. Rang up the store to correct it they said they'd send the rest but never did

We ordered from here and the service was really friendly and warm. However the food was poor in quality the meat in our curries tasted very old and reheated, rubbery and bland. Same for the nan bread. Very dry and bland. The vegetarian dishes were tasty. But I think they could really improve especially as they seem like lovely people. They should put that energy into the food!

food was late cold and missing items

Food was hot and earlier than quoted but not much flavour in a few items compared to previous indetical orders a few months ago. Ordered a drink but didn’t receive and peshwari naan tasted plain with no coconut inside. Been brilliant in past but not great this time unfortunately

Lamb was chewy, the curry had barely any taste, garlic and cheese naan had no taste, popadoms were soft. Don’t recommend

Me and my partner went to Kurry King for Valentine’s Day. The man who took our order was very friendly and explained different dishes to us. The food was also delicious. Honestly the best Indian I have had.

The order was missing the drink we ordered to come with it and the curry was the least flavourful thing I have ever eaten, very disappointing.

Just received a delivery which was an hour late and quite frankly one of the worst curries we’ve had.

Have ordered a few times but Absolutely vile meal today, the fish bhuna had massive clumpy bits of what was a sauce at some point who knows when!! Certainly not fresh, not what I would expect from a restaurant! It was cold too to top it off..

Stuffed paratha was so completely uncooked and was too thick. Other dishes are either too sweet or flavourless.

Walked in to order at 5:50, greeted with a smile. Order taken told it would be 15 minutes. Had 2 grandchildren with us, they were asked if they would like a drink, very friendly. Went for a 10 minute walk so that the children didn't get bored, got back and meal was ready. This is not our usual Indian,but we were pleasantly surprised with the meal. Very tasty and big portions. We will be visiting again when we are at our caravan.

Hi this place has changed owners and the food is now aweful..bland no seasoning soft popadoms and over an hour late I sent the food back and they delivered again really fast but the food was terrible I had to add salt to it and it was very watery I dont know what has happened to this place it used to be one of the best curries in the area

Just disappointed that they advertise £28.95 set meal for two on the menu leaflet. But on the Just app I paid £36.95. Now that's just not right 😕 Can't complain about the food was spot on 10/10

Having spent a short break in Hastings what better way than to finish with an Indian, well that was the plan never have I had such a bland meal no smell no taste dry chicken might as well brought a Vesta frozen meal!!! Chose this take away because of the reviews what a big mistake can't wait to get home and have a decent curry.

My children and I had dinner there. We all enjoyed it very much, the Rogan Josh and Kormas were excellent and there were even chicken nuggets for the one who doesn't like spice, also very good. Definitely would go again.

Absolutely shameful staff. I ordered a meal for me and my daughter and delivery time was shown as 30-45 minutes. After numerous calls in which the staff said "the driver has just left" then "he's on your street" followed by "they're just round the corner" and "oh, he's at the wrong house number" (all of which were demonstrably false as I live on a small close and was standing in the street) it arrived after 2 hours and 20 minutes. I live a 6 minute drive from the restaurant. Won't be using again because the service was so awful and the staff member took no issue with repeatedly lying - about delivery times, about where the driver was and in terms of promising to call back and not doing so. And, to top it off, after all the lies they simply responded "sometimes these things happen".

It was supposed to be a jalfrezi, what turned up was more like a spicy vegetarian gravy, no tomamoes used, very dissapointed tonight guys.

Had many Indian take aways from this place and they have always been amazing if you want to try Indian food would defo recommend cinnamon spice St lennords 10 out 10

Just had a delivery I'm not one to complain but I must say it's the worst takeaway I've ever had, chicken was tuff, watery no flavor, the nann bread was like eating leather, very disappointed

Placed order here as regular Indian we use was closed on the Monday. Used uber to eats to place the order but then phoned and spoke to restaurant directly. Was told order would be delivered around 5:30, 6pm at the latest. Phoned again at 6:10 to be told it would be another 20 minutes! Order finally arrived at 6:40pm! Food was over salty and only warm. Very disappointed with attitude of staff on the phone, delivery driver was apologetic. My advice is to avoid if u want a reasonable timed delivery, even on a Monday!

The curries were lovely and so was the nan bread and rice The starters could do with improving especially the onion bhagis I hate seeing fat on plate it could of being drained better Overall I would go back but not order starters from there We are from Bradford and theirs are always good

We've used this place numerous times and been really happy but tonight the food was luke warm, took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive and the driver had a bad attitude. We won't be using them again!

Went here to celebrate my niece's GCSE results, we had a fabulous time, food was excellent, staff were lovely and we all had a very good time, would recommend.

Food at this restaurant is fab but they forgot my order and it took over an hour and a half to arrive on a Tuesday evening. Ordered it at 5.30 before the rush and it did not arrive until 7.15. Besides saying that the delivery driver was 5 mins away the whole time nothing was actually done to really fix the problem. That's not really very good. If you screw up own it and offer some redress.

Food bland but worse still, my husband and I have been up all night with food poisoning. Can only be the take away we bought from here. Never again.

I have never been a curry person until I met my English husband. What a world, what a food I've been missing! Couldn't be more grateful for his patience; he introduced me to this amazing food first with with chicken tikka masala and mushroom rice but because we were so stranded indoor in the last 2 years we actually got through the whole variety of dishes that Cinnamon Spice in St.Leonards offers and became regulars, together with friends and family. The food is absolutely delicious and the very generous portions are coming perfectly packed in a hot take away (never spilled, always hot and ready to serve). The variety of dishes can satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. It's a great option when cooking dinner at home would take too long or when we want to indulge ourselves with something good. The place has been rated for food hygiene as Very Good (5) as well that makes us trust it even more. Thank you Cinnamon Spice!

Brilliant little spot. Food is so nice and the service is excellent. If you enjoy your food with some heat then this is the place. I normally order a Phal but this place I have a vindaloo as the phal blows my head off! Really good for proper spicy food!

Arrived in good time but bhaji raw and really greasy inside, tikka red and swimming in oil and no flavouring at all, coconut rice was horrible, no flavour in tarka Dahl, and almost no meat in the Nan either. Really disappointed as previously has been good. went in bin won't order again.

Avoid this place like the plague, if you actually want your food to turn up at the original time quoted when ordering.

Food was amazing.2 tikka masala 1 Rogan 2 vindaloo. Asked for vindaloo to be jazzed up and oh boy wasn't they just. Highly recommended

I ordered the takeaway at around 8pm and received it at 10.30pm. We were really looking forward to a nice Saturday night in but it was unfortunately ruined. Honestly it would have been quicker if I cooked it myself! I am so disappointed with their service and will never order from this place again.

What has happened to this lovely restaurant? Looking very sad and dilapidated service very slow, one person at front of house on a busy Saturday evening. Took an hour for main course to arrive, although very good poppadoms etc had been enjoyed first. 3 of us had ok food, although one was the wrong dish, one disgusting butter chicken, way to much red sauce poured over what appeared to be tandoori chicken? Also no social distancing between table and staff not wearing masks. Not an issue to me particularly but my guests were a little uncomfortable. Sadly this restaurant will no longer be my 'go to' Indian Restaurant.

I ordered takeaway from this restaurant and I'm sorry to say it wasn't very good - which was surprising considering it has a high score on the reviews. Very average curry, my chicken was tough, which is pretty hard to do and the poppadoms were stone cold - not even crispy any more. I got the distinct impression no pride was taken in the preparation of my food. I would not go back.

Great food, great service. Avoid the Hastings throng and take a quick jaunt to this little gem. BYO also, do not miss!

Really bad experience! Me and my partner ordered about 2hours ago and have finally received it! However it was the completely the wrong order! Tried to call them several times to let them know it was wrong and no answer! Won’t be ordering from them again

Food was good, however, they do not serve alcohol, you can bring your own or buy some from across the road. The establishment itself was pretty dirty, the floor was very messy we had to step around lots of food all over the floor. Don’t think I’d come back unfortunately.
