Totally great for what it is! It's a members club with a slightly excited barman but does what it says on the tin! Was made better by the company of the locals. 3.5/5

Been visiting St Mawes as a child and now annually as a middle aged person for the last 15 years and this was the first time I visited/ Great location to sit on the terrace, but insied is very nice, looks like recently refurbished. Very good service and I will definitely go back on the next visit

The barman was extremely rude and arrogant. I won’t be returning and would recommend anyone to avoid this place.

Extremely rude bar manager, my friend ordered a drink and got told “that’s a tramps order”. So insanely, unnecessarily rude. Also bought the same drink three times and every time, it cost something different. Won’t be returning :-)

Went with the family on Saturday after spending the day in Falmouth. Our visit ended early due to extreme aggression and violence from staff. Although this wasn’t directed at any of us - it definitely created an uncomfortable atmosphere to be in. At first it was shouting from inside but then the final straw was a member of staff physically kicking a boy down their ramp for being intoxicated although they had clearly served him a drink as he was sat with a pint of larger on our arrival. And as this was our first visit I’m not sure about the place as a whole… but the one staff member who was causing the shouting and becoming physical with young customers was definitely the reason we decided to leave early. I didn’t feel it was safe to get a name as the only other employee working was making a lot of convocation with him but he was fairly short and bald headed (sorry for the poor description I didn’t see him up close). If you decide to visit this place, stay clear of this particular person as from what I saw their temper is unsafe and short. We will definitely not be visiting again!

Welcoming and great to mingle with locals. Accommodate teens with darts, pool, table tennis. Show live sports and you can take your own food

We love visiting Bohella, the staff are so friendly, prices so reasonable, and they do the most delicious mezze plate. Definitely worth a visit if you’re visiting the roseland. Great meat raffle on a Sunday too!

Don't judge a book by its cover. This bar, found right on the car park, may not look much from the outside but inside is a clean , tidy and light around the bar area and toilets. Also a substantial patio. Very friendly staff and locals. A pool table, dart board, television and low music provides entertainment. A limited menu that will satisfactorily soak up the alcohol. Spent over 4 hrs here waiting for the RAC and was made to feel very welcome.

The staff were rude and incoherent but that's nothing compared to their pizza and they served alcohol to an under 18 customer.

Good size bar with pool table and outside seating area. Easy parking as its on the edge of the car park. Has wheel chair ramp access although a little steep. Limited range of food when we visited, various choice of pizza's or Cornish pasty. 2 of us had pizza and 2 had pasties, all were good and hot. Nice cold skinners ale went down well. Staff were friendly and table service was good.

It's easy to dismiss this place as just another social club with all the connotations that brings, but it would be very wrong. With a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour, friendly staff and reasonable pricing it's a place not to be missed - give it a try next time you're here on holiday.

This is a strange place. Nice staff and prices reasonable but it was like going through a time warp. Inside was like an old working man's club. Outdated furniture and a dartboard that was very distressed. But saying that good for a pint.

No seats outside at the pub round the corner and we spotted this one was open. Patio in the sun, cheaper drinks (for St Mawes) ... and you can spot when the bus comes in if you don't want to walk back... Friendly staff and we will be visiting again.

I visited this place with my father in law in August 2016.Bohella is a pub off the main car park in St Mawes. Access is via steps or a ramp. What drew us to the place was that the other local pubs were rammed with yachties and Bohella seemed to be a bit off the beaten track, so avoided them. The inside of the bar is large with ample seating. We sat outside on the terrace, which had a few tables and a view of the harbour (as well as the aforementioned car park). The beers was local, excellent and good value. Service was friendly and the loos were fine.My final observation is that the terrace overlooks the bus stop and is close enough that you can run to the bus when it arrives.Big recommendation. Love it!

Ended up here with family as it was Dad's favourite pub when he was with us. Great fish and chips with a lovely atmosphere and service. And the HSD was good as well. A shame that dogs are no longer allowed in the front bar (but as it's so small it's understandable) but they are allowed in the back. Mind you, didn't bring mine so that wasn't a problem. I will be going again.

We didn't eat, but what a great pub on a winter's walk. Very friendly. The beer choice is narrow as you've only got a choice of Coors beers, but Sharps ales aren't bad.
