Food undercooked and arrived late. Doesn’t look like Chinese food!

Always very good. An update on my last review, about the fortune cookie. It was delivered completely flat & had no fortune in it. Chopstixs completely redeemed themselves. Our next order had 2 fortune cookies in, thank you. This also means they do read their feedback/reviews, well done Chopstixs, love your food

Arrived steaming hot which was lovely. Salt and pepper chips were great, chow mein bland, quality of the chicken quite poor, satay sauce very gloopy, schezwan sauce was nice, prawn toast very greasy with not much prawn. Bit mixed but we would order some of the dishes again.

Estimate delivery time before placing the order 15-30mins after the order this shot up to 30-70mins and delivered after 75mins. Be honest about delivery times upfront please.

The delivery driver was cracking. Pay him more. Food was good two.

Had hit and miss with this place recently. Good that the driver called for final directions but the contents of the bag was mixed up and there was fish that had leaked out and my wife has an allergy, and now not feeling well at all, Plus the chicken balls were pink on the inside and very stodgy…. A nice meal ruined… will probably look elsewhere for my next Chinese.

very rude driver. was swearing at me because is not his job to open a closed gate. had to walk 300 yards to collect it from him so we could swear at me. not recommended

Come in today with my family and was meet with a gay called Spencer he was very polite and passionate and helped me through my order as it got very complicated, was one of my best experiences ever.

My husband said it’s the best Chinese he has had in Basingstoke in years. The food was all delicious. Although the delivery charge seems a lot the quality of the food made up for it. This will be our new go to Chinese in the future

Food is good and the staff are friendly. Mia was brilliant she was helpful, patient and had a smile on her face the entire time.

Had to wait about 15 mins , because no noodles ready. Then, found they had run out of sweet and sour chicken, so had to choose alternative main. Server dumped the mains at the sides/ serving area & after that we were totally ignored. For some reason, they served later customers ahead of us & several takeaway (just eat type) customers. Occasionally, the young lady serving sides & drinks picked up our boxes & then puts them down again & seemed to deliberately avoid eye contact, to avoid serving us. Maybe some inter staff demarcation dispute?! Anyway food was obviously now cold & ,calling out ouldn't get response from anyone so left. Nobody attempted to stop us. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!! Went there last week (for first time). Again, did not have the side my wife wanted (spring rolls) & just proceeded to check out my order without letting me order a side (what is wrong with these people?). Would also point out that, on that first occasion, drinks were at least 59% ice. A lot of staff working very fast failing to serve a relatively small number of customers. Maybe they will get better over time but, until they can sort themselves out, twice was enough for us.

Food was supposed to be delivered by 8:05. App said it had been delivered. When called just kept saying driver on his way but with no time or information. Then got a message saying new delivery time was 45 minutes later. If they were busy as they suggested add more time on the delivery time originally. Terrible service

Not happy with the delivery time as set a specific time for delivery I ordered at 1730 and had delivery at 1950. Not very impressed

Whilst the staff were polite and doing the best they could, I did feel for those cooking as the kitchen layout doesn’t lend itself to helping the cooks having to keep walking behind those serving for ingredients! This made the service much slower than it really should be with such a small menu. The food really did feel like something you’d get at a motorway service station, heavy, and stodgy and very small portions. Won’t be heading back anytime soon.

Yummy food at a reasonable price. I'm glad a chopstix has opened in Basingstoke- I've not had it since I was a student at Cardiff University! My daughter enjoyed the caramel chicken with egg fried rice with some mini chicken balls too.

App indicated food was delivered on time yet it only got to ours at 19:07, when it was due, and the app stated 18:55 at the latest. How did the status get change before we got it?

Food delivered quickly, half an hour on NYE very impressive. Food hot and overall tasty. Only small negatives prawn toast small compared to other Chinese restaurants and quite expensive even for vegetarian dishes.

I was watching the delivery time so I could take medication but the app didn’t change then it suddenly arrived. I ordered extra hot noodles and veg spring rolls. Paid extra for it. But it arrived and all that was different was dried chilli flakes. Shame but everything else was good

Best Chinese around for delivery or takeaway the food is always hot and very tasty. Delivery is expensive and so are some of the dishes. Order early as delivery is a fair wait but trust me it is so worth it. I won’t go anywhere else. 😌

Foods been really great in the past, Singapore noodles this time tasted exactly the same as chow mein, not spicy. Beef in oyster sauce was chewy and not great. Other dishes were good. Would still order again because food has been better quality in the past.

Cancelled order after waiting over an hour (after delivery time). When I called to see where the food was I could hear the driver claiming he already knocked on our door. We have been in all day with nobody knocking on the door

Avoid at all costs!!! Absolutely terrible food and even worse service. That sent us the wrong food and it also had a toenail in it. Then when we called to complain the lady owner laughed at us and said good luck when I said I would write a review. We even gave this place the opportunity to just send us the correct food, regardless of the horrific object we found in the food! Our children were really looking forward to Chinese night but this takeaway has ruined it. I would strongly advise anybody to avoid this establishment, for your health and well-being. Lawyers for writing a review lol 😂

Food was delivered on time, hot, fresh and delicious.

We weren’t happy with the quality of the food and we asked for no onions in the chow mein and it was full of them.
