Chiquito - Cheshire Oaks in Cheshire West and Chester

Not the best, usually come here all the time and it's flawless but had to return my food twice as asked for my steak to be very well done and come out still pink in the middle 🤢 also asked for no egg and came with egg . Kerry working behind the bar absolutely lovely 🙂

Food was really lovely and came out quickly. 5 star service from the female member of staff that welcomed us in and took orders, younger male colleagues didn't seem to be as interested in their job.. the woman seemed to be doing the job for all of them, but a great job she was doing. We would visit again as food good and very affordable , good place to take children with wide range of things available on menu, also plenty of free parking right outside.

Lovely visit. Mains were nice and hot the chicken new yorkers were very tasty. However the desserts were actually out of this world. I visit a lot but tonight they were outstanding. Really beautifully done. Great staff atmosphere but maybe need more staff on as very busy

Went there on Sunday for a birthday celebration for our granddaughter meals were ordered ,meals arrived very basic Over cooked and tasteless we spoke to staff they didn't appear interested not impressed will not bother going here again

I don't know if the cook was off today or if a trainee was pulled off the bar to cook, but the roast dinner was truly abysmal. The roast potatoes were tiny and looked overdone to the point where some were mush inside. The mashed potato is not mash, it's SMASH! The carrots and green beans were dry despite being crunchy, so I can only assume that they had sat under a heat lamp for too long. We got the added pigs in in blankets, yorkie and roast potatoes trio. It's not pigS in blankets, it is one thin sausage with one end wrapped in the tiniest amount of bacon. Didn't look very appetising in the slightest. We only ate it because we were hungry. Staff didn't check back with us re how our food was (usually they are back as soon as you put food in your mouth so all you can do is nod wide eyed at them) which made us think that they knew how bad the food was

Was served by a really lovely gentleman was checking we got the right food for my daughter s food allergy was extremely helpful and it was a really good service by bob made use feel like all our requests were no problem it's the second time we have been to the hungry horse Cheshire oaks and been served by bob and he definitely makes your visit a lovely experience

We where celebrating our sons 21st at the Cheshire Oaks restaurant. the server we had was called Matta and he was excellent, he went above and beyond and we all had an amazing time. Food was fabulous too. Thanks Matt for a great evening.

Me and my partner ordered the Cluckin Mac cheese stack burger. It was very nice, different with it being Texas toast. Enjoyed it. Service was good. Place is nice although some of the upholstery could be cleaner.

Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly, good was delicious. Served by Sue at the till, who was very helpful in describing a meal to me and helping me to make some adjustments based off my taste. Staff were attentive, food arrived fresh, hot and delicious.

This pub should be busy as it in a good location but when you walk through the tired looking doors you are met with enthusiastic! Staff. They are more interested in serving people on the app than anyone stood in front of them. The beer was good but the food was a let down. A simple stake over cooked and a lamb kofta flatbread that needs a steak knife to cut. There wasn't even the obligatory check that everything was ok.

We booked for breakfast, with the Easter Bunny. Honestly, it was incredible value for money. At Just 8.99. All the staff were so attentive. The Easter Bunny was very generous with his time and surprises. The little one had the best morning with him. And doing the activities. The table was all set up. With activities and crafts. There was a gorgeous little area for Pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with little ones. It really has been a lovely time 🐰 Extra shout out to our waitress, Cristina, she’s been spot on with her hosting. Absolutely lovely lady!

Booked last minute for the Easter bunny, it was fantastic, lots of little gifts for the kids as well as an Easter egg off the Easter bunny. Well worth the £8.99. Christina was great as well making it fun for the kids. Great start to our busy day. THANK YOU ❤️

Cheap and cheerful meal after a day at the zoo! We shared a big meal and a sharing pudding between 3 of us it was more then enough food

Imagine having to wait 20 minutes to be served by Rebecca on 18/4/25 when the restaurant is less than half full. On trying to catch eyes with anyone over this period and no one wanting to serve us. On a Friday, this is pathetic and as we passed many colleagues including 'our server' Rebecca, she ignored us and looking through the window collected our menus so clearly had no intention of serving us. I have loved frankie and bennie's for years but I would truly never go back after terrible front of house service. I have gone to las iguanas instead which offer significant better service.

Wouldn't go back here after a bad experience. Waited until they brought the food out to tell us they couldn't fulfill the order on a kids meal as they didn't have pasta sauce. They offered gravy with pasta as an alternative!!

Thank you Hungry Horse Cheshire Oaks. Hot, tasty food and a varied menu to pick from! We all had a great meal that was of a reasonable price - it’s a shame we don’t have more companies these days that don’t offer good food and service for a decent price without feeling ripped off! We will be back!

We had a brilliant service for our son's 2nd birthday meal. Christina was absolutely amazing and very attentive during our meal. Even took photos of us all for our son' s special day. The food was really good quality and good value for money. We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely place , enjoyed a Monday meal here with my son. Very quiet , but it was a Monday. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Service is so bad nowadays everywhere that when staff go out of their way they deserve recognition. All the staff were very pleasant today, but Mia gave fantastic service, she was absolutely run off her feet and we believe pregnant, but this didn’t stop her giving us amazing service. Well done mia.

We called in Chiquito Cheshire oaks to be greeted at the door by a lovely young man Matt. He was very attentive and professional. Carried more than two plates at a time which is a miracle with today’s waitress and Waiters.

My family of three children and I in a effort to give my wonderful wife some time for herself decided to dine alone last night My 14 year old daughter is addicted to either sickle sweet dishes or Fajitas We set off on a journey and Ella protestations at every suggestion was beginning to grate Ultimately despite protestations I decided to take us to this restaurant Ella unsurprisingly chose Chicken Fajitas, Angelo a full rack of ribs , Shirley Chicken Strips and Chips from the children’s menu and myself a tasty salad with chicken and chorizo All were served and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. We finished with Churros and left replete and contented I would offer a 5* review other than one point , the service was slow and I could see Angelo’s ribs on the pass for around 5 minutes before it was served We will definitely return this time with our beloved Queen Evie

Came this morning got a cheeky breakfast, we were greeted by a very friendly young man Lincoln, he was what hospitality is all about, friendly, and knowledgeable about menu We decided on the eggs benny, came piping hot with plenty of creamy hollandaise sauce, took a side of the delicious cornflake chicken dippers served with maple syrup, absolutely amazing

A bit cold when we arrived at 10am, but soon warmed up. Breakfast wrap was amazing.

When my friend asked for a table to be cleaned the waitress came and complained to the barmaid about it so I cleaned it instead. I had a chicken and bacon and cheese wrap with chips. The chicken wasn't cooked properly. I did bring this to their attention and they refunded me for the full meal. I did notice that no one wore hairnets or hats and considering this is a place that has food then these things should be worn.

We have eaten here a few times before and have never had any issues but our meal tonight really ruined our evening. We entered the pub and the TV was extremely loud. We ordered food via the app which took about 30 minutes which we did not mind. A burger that we ordered was listed as a double on the menu but a single was given to us. I brought this to the attention of a staff member who brought another patty out for us. We then finished our main course and ordered dessert. At this point the pub was not busy, only a few other tables and the football game had finished so a lot of people had left. We waited for 35 minutes for our dessert before I asked a member of staff to check our order for us as it was taking a long time. She did not return to our table to say “they’re preparing it now” or apologise for how long we were waiting. 45 minutes after we had ordered, our dessert was brought out and there were things missing, such as strawberries on the horseshoe donut, which was the reason we chose to eat at Hungry horse as we had tried the donut before and loved it. We are very reluctant to eat here again after this experience.

Went there today for food and we were extremely disappointed to the point I couldn't be bothered complaining! I had a mixed grill woth peppercorn sauce. No peppercorn saucy appeared! I asked for a medium steak and it was really rare. And the chicken was horrible. My partner had a burger and salt and pepper chips and didn't get the salt and pepper chips. The chips wernt freshly cooked either. The kids meals were ok. Truly disappointed

Not the gluten free haven I hoped for. Tacos are known for being gluten free, traditionally made from corn. When I ordered them I received lettuce as a replacement. Whilst my daughter received cheese I also did not, what on earth is going in the cheese?? Service was great and staff very friendly.
