Went to order a dessert from the “pudding” parlour at 19:05 on a Saturday, to be told they only sell ice cream and stop selling puddings at 7pm. Seems strange when the rest of the market is open until 10

Delicious vegan vanilla and honey comb ice creams along with 3 different vegan cakes, all fabulous, especially the Bakewell cheesecake. Didn't have to ask for vegan cones, she knew straight away which ones were appropriate.

We visited Cheshire Farm Ice to buy an ice cream. We have been doing so on and off since they first opened many years ago. It was 2.30pm on a a quiet midweek day with Approx. 6 cars in their huge car park. We were advised we would have to pay a £2.50 entry fee each just to buy an ice cream RIP OFF! We were told one of us could pay and go in and get the 3 ice creams - and bring back the said dripping ice creams to stand in a car par to eat them NO THANK YOU, we could use the Drive through to sit in the car to eat dripping ice creams NO THANK YOU! As pensioners who have brought family and friends over the years I can only assume you no longer wish to have our custom without children. As pensioners we are not going to use the play facilities on offer to children and object to an entrance fee just to buy an ice cream, therefore doubling the cost of the ice cream. Paying numerous staff to stand idle during the week when you’re empty is not good business sense (we wouldn’t dream of going at the weekend when it’s busy with children). They have now lost our custom and presumably that of many of the older generation who have supported them since their conception. There are plenty of other places to enjoy ice cream.

I came in at 4pm with a friend and chose a bottle that was almost £50....we chose a table in the empty bar/restaurant however as soon as we sat down were asked if we were eating....as we weren't we were asked to move....when we left at 6:40pm there were probably 40+ empty tables.....why ask us to move ??? Jobsworth and ridiculous... Also bar staff training need....when there are guests standing at the bar please at least acknowledge their presence...we were invisible for probably 10 minutes before we were served despite there being 4 staff working the bar....

we have had a few days staying in the hotel on site, wanted something different for breakfast there's not really much to choose from there and then we decided to try here the food was hot and was delivered to the table, it was expensive for what we actually had but cooked well and enjoyable the coffee was the best one I had in days so much better than McDonalds one and costa the man who served us was so pleasant and chatty he was brilliant made us feel really welcome and couldn't enough for us

Awful! We booked a feature suite as it was a special occasion, and it was awful. Dirty room, cracked sink, woodwork was all chipped and dirty. Hotel bar wasn’t open for guests, we couldn’t even get any ice for the room.. the breakfast was awful. The continental part of the breakfast was literally plain yogurt which was warm, a few different muesli choices, no fruit. Stale bread for toast. Warm milk as nothing was being kept cool. The cooked breakfast was a single slice of over cooked cheap bacon, half a mushroom, hard eggs. And a slice of greasy so called potato scone.. One good point was that the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was in the heart of the city which was great, although no parking so need to park in the shopping centre which was fine.

The staff are always fantastic here. Food is all fresh and really tasty especially the pizzas and the chunky chips
