We went for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff. We were very impressed with the selection of vegetarian food available and look forward to coming back soon!

We are delighted we selected Chelsea Brasserie to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a family dinner for 20. Sammy guided us through the options for the room layout and menus, making the arrangements were hassle free. It was a wonderful evening. You can't go wrong here - good food, extremely pleasant staff and value for money. Only downside was they started sweeping the floor as we finished our meal - no big deal, still worth 5 stars and we'll be back there soon

Excellent meal with very attentive and friendly service at good prices. Asked for a window table on reservation and were given one with a nice view over the top area of Montpelier. It was a Sunday evening and by 8:00pm we were the only diners, we hadn’t realised they closed early that day, we will return when we next visit Cheltenham but on a Friday or Saturday

Booked the Chelsea brasserie for a birthday lunch with friends and were delighted with our choice. The food, atmosphere and service were all great and we really felt we'd been treated to a special occasion without breaking the bank.

Great service , staff extremely friendly making sure we were happy and comfortable. Drinks and food served quickly. Food was superb! I had the fish pasta which was the best I have had and my husband had the slow cooked beef which was excellent ! We both had beautiful puddings too ( can recommend the sticky toffee!) Sammy particularly professional and extremely accommodating ! Restaurant is in an ideal location and has a high end ambience. Will definitely be back .

What a lovely find! This is a lovely restaurant- really friendly, polite, attentive staff, who couldnt do enough for you. Great ambience - very relaxing & classy restaurant. Menu choice was really good & both the presentation & quality of the food & pairings of tastes was excellent - we had the crab Bruschetta, mushroom arancini to start with & then the venison & Pork loin. Finished with chocolate fondant & sticky toffee pudding. We also had a really lovely Malbec Bonardo & liquer coffees to end with - all excellent. Amazing meal as always at Chelsea Brasserie.The staff are always so attentive and go out their way to make sure you have a wonderful evening. The food is always to a high standard and the cocktails are the best in town. They have such a great range of vegetarian, fish and meat. Don't hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed.

This gem of a restaurant in Montpellier is friendly, fairly priced and the food is delicious! We were a party of 3 for lunch - nothing was too much trouble and our meals arrived on hot plates and never disappointed on flavour, quantity and looked eye wateringly good! Enjoy everyone!

A large group of family and friends came here a few weeks ago for my sister’s 40th and it was fantastic. We had the function room upstairs and what a lovely addition this is to the restaurant for private gatherings. From booking through to the evening itself Sammy couldn’t do enough for us. She met with us when booking to check our needs, we were able to go in and decorate the room on the day and Sammy was so organised when it came to pre-ordering and sorting the bill and drinks for such a large group on the night. Sammy created name place cards for everyone with their pre-orders and how much their bill was so there was no messing around trying to sort what everyone owed at the end of the night. She was also very patient with all the changes we had to make. The food was delicious and everyone had a lovely time. I’d highly recommend.

This was my first time at Chelsea Brassiere catching up with friends. The menu selection is varied and caters for most people's taste including allergy options (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and nut free). I had the following on the lunch menu, 2 courses for £17.95 which is excellent value: Warm goat cheese, apple, walnut salad, balsamic oil dressing (gf) Chicken & mushroom risotto, finished with truffle oil, garlic crisps (nf) The staff are very attentive and the service was excellent. I will definitely return!

Had a lovely lunch here (maybe my third visit - previously with a friend, and with my son, and this time my “partner”). Said partner was annoyingly late but the team didn’t make me feel awkward. The food was very nice, ably brought to us by the laid-back, friendly, but very efficient and professional woman who was in charge. Will certainly revisit.

What a delight little gem 💎 we arranged an evening meal for our friends 60th birthday. Having read the reviews you are never sure about these things until you have the experience yourself. The Chelsea Brasserie did not disappoint from the time we arrived until the time we left the restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted and very well looked after without over bearing us too much. We love to dine out but it has been a very long time since we can honestly say that we had an exceptional meal and this is the place to visit if you are visiting Cheltenham. We have been to the Chelsea on several occasions, including Christmas Day and my sister's 70th Birthday in March. The food has been outstanding on every visit. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very professional and friendly, making you feel very welcome.

Finding this restaurant by chance we were glad we'd not gone anywhere else. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing. The steak was perfect and the desserts were delicious. We enjoyed not only a lovely meal and drinks (cocktails at this restaurant are a must) we had a lovely chat with Ash the owner. Here we felt welcome and relaxed and it definitely felt as though nothing was too much trouble. You receive a warm welcome and a friendly set of faces. Definitely when visiting Cheltenham again this restaurant will become our go to place. Absolutely awesome!

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch.......I had cheese soufflé and sea bream. My friend had prawns on bruschetta and salmon. All cooked to perfection. It's a lovely, stylish restaurant - excellent service. Friendly yet professional. Definitely the best place to eat!

What a perfect combination; lovely atmosphere, perfect food and amiable service. The lovely barman made a cocktail not on the menu and the chef visited the tables after service to meet her customers....unheard of confidence in their food. Absolutely will return.

Not to many restaurants to choose from at present on a Sunday night in Cheltenham! However we got lucky here.Great food and service .First course was the beetroot infused smoked salmon which was a delight , and main courses of duck leg and salmon risotto - both highly recommended.All round great experience- thank you and hope to return

Sometimes you just know when you walk into a restaurant if it’s going to be good or not. From the first greeting, I knew this would be good and I wasn’t let down. We were warmly welcomed on our first visit to this little gem. It was quiet for a Friday night which was no bad thing. Chose drinks from an extensive cocktail and beer menu and they were brought swiftly. The menu is a classic European bistro style but many of the dishes have a South Asian twist which I absolutely loved. Throughout, service was friendly and cheerful. A really lovely evening all round. The only thing I’m disappointed in is it has taken so long to try this place. It won’t be the last.

Decided to have dinner out and I am so glad we decided to come here. From the moment we arrived to when we left, I cannot fault this place. The staff are so friendly, the perfect level of attentive, the food and drinks arrived promptly, the presentation of the food was perfect and was absolutely delicious. I had the scallops to start, then the venison and pannacotta for dessert. My husband had the king prawns, the chicken and the New York cheesecake. All the dishes were so good. My compliments to the Chef, this was good. We will be going back - which in Cheltenham where we are not short of good restaurants, that is a massive compliment. Thank you so much to all the staff.

We arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday night. Ashley (front of house) greeted us and found us one of the only spare tables. The warmth of his welcome was matched by the quality of the food that followed. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the team.

We visited Chelsea Brasserie for a hen do on Friday night. The staff were really friendly and welcomIng. The cocktail making was great fun and our host Ash was a good laugh. The 3 course meal was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We had a fab night and would definitely recommend Chelsea Brasserie!

I booked the Brasserie for my sisters hen party and I couldn’t have been happier that I found this incredible place. Sammy was super helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond to make our party feel special. We had such a fun time at the cocktail masterclass with Ash, he instantly made us all feel comfortable and looked after us really well. After the masterclass we moved to the dining area where our table had been decorated - this was such a lovely touch. The food was beautifully presented and everyone was impressed with how delicious all 3 courses were. Would 100% recommend visiting this place, I would love to come again!

Went for lunch on a Saturday. The atmosphere inside was very inviting, busy tables chatting away. Ash the manager was amazing, so friendly & knowledgeable. For someone who has allergies eating out can be tricky, Ash knew his menu inside and out. The menu clearly stated what allergies it contained which is always helpful plus if you need something adapted they will do their best to accommodate where they can. We had 2 courses for £12.95. Our starters were Fish Tempura & my husband had Chicken Skewers, the batter of the tempura was as light as a cloud and the flavour was beautiful. The chicken skewers had an Asian flare, such a nice depth of flavour, so nice that we ended up sharing our starters as we both didn’t want to miss out. For our main we both had pork loin, again so tasty. We will definitely be returning, we would highly recommend going here, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Ash for making us feel so welcome, keep up the good work.

We came after The Ivy mixed up our booking but we are glad we did. The staff very friendly and accommodating fitting us in at no notice despite being busy. Food was fantastic, good choice of drinks and cocktails and loved every mouthful of food, can't fault the place. I would recommend 100%

My wife and I, along with my father in law and his wife visited the Brasserie to celebrate my wife's birthday and I must say, celebrate we did!The food was amazing, the wine was delicious and the staff were both attentive and discreet, even the place itself was welcoming and inviting.The only disappointment was that we failed to get the ingredient list for the jus which accompanied my venison, it must be a closely guarded secret like the recipe for Coke!The icing on the cake was the cake brought out for my wife to celebrate her birthday, great touch.We intend to revisit the next time we are in Cheltenham very soon.Thanks to all the staff for making a great day better

Visited this evening and i must say the food was absolutely gorgeous I as salmon risotto while my partner had the marinated chicken breast (I also tried this because it looked so delicious) there was so much flavour in the food full of colour and the presentation felt like I was eating in a high end restaurant in London but at a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend it was gorgeous we will definitely visit again

Not wanting a traditional Sunday roast, we went on-line to find somewhere different that wasn’t a rip-off.We pre-booked a table for 4 covers and our choice was perfection itself. From the moment we stepped inside, meeting Ash, the Manager, to the moment we left (somewhat reluctantly) our visit and experience was idyllic. Quaint and cosy seating areas despite COVID. The menu was enticing, varied and we were spoilt for choice, with our gluten free and veggie family members. I had to control my wish to say “one of each please!”Each of the 12 courses selected were different, tasty and beautifully presented, There was perfect spacing between courses and the drinks menu was comprehensive. Service was impeccable without being intrusive and Ash was knowledgeable and passionate about his business throughout our stay. Will definitely re-visit and recommend to family and friends.

We dived in here by chance to avoid a sudden thunderstorm but were extremely glad we did. We went for the 2 courses for £12.95 option choosing starters and mains rather than puddings. There were 6 varied options for each course, 2 meat 2 fish and 2 veggie for the mains. For starters we had a delicious broccoli and stilton soup plus a delicate tempura fish. Both were superb. For mains we had avocado on a risotto base and chicken breast in a mushroom sauce. Again both went down well and portions were a good size, although we shared a portion of chips, since be aware side dishes are not included. The head waiter (Ash I believe) was absolutely excellent and kept the atmosphere light and welcoming but very professional. We will most definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere, light airy brasserie. Everything was of a very high standard. Staff were extremely professional and courteous. Food really delicious and beautifully presented. We lingered for ages over our coffee and did not feel as if we had to rush. Set menu good value - nice range of options using good quality ingredients - I could have had any of the dishes. Highly recommended.

I recently went to Chelsea brasserie for dinner with my family. There was 6 of us and I was really impressed with how they did considering the COVID regulations. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back

This is my second time visiting and the food was absolutely beautiful. I had a well presented mackerel bruschetta, there was a burst of flavour with every bite. I proceeded on. to have a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. I then ended with a slice of cheesecake. My night was outstanding what a night to remember

Coming back to chelsea brasserie after a period of lockdown seemed surreal, you would expect for the immaculate standards to not be replicated after a month of being shut, but I can gladly say those standards have been maintained if not exceeded.

Loved my evening at the Chelsea, great service from Ashley, Paula and Ricardo. The food was amazing and they were happy to meet food requirements for myself. Also do lovely cocktails. Would fully recommend and Will be returning soon.

We had takeaway from chelsea brasserie tonight.all the dishes was very good.but one criticism sweet potato fry was oily. I understand by the time we received the order by deliveroo it was 45 minutes later. Next time we will pickup our self

During the second lockdown I ordered a takeaway from Chelsea Brasserie. I never thought fine dining standard would be able to be maintained though a takeaway, I am delighted to say Chelsea brasserie proved me wrong. I was incredibly impressed by being able to have an amazing 3 course meal through a takeaway. If you want a high quality of food during lockdown then Chelsea brasserie is the place to go. highly recommend.

First of many lockdown takeaways. Today we enjoyed tempura fish pate Seabass. Risotto. Cheesecake. All was beautiful cooked and very hot which i was not expecting for takeaway food. Highly recommend

This is our 'go to' place to eat in Cheltenham. We go at least fortnightly - and also used the takeaway option during lockdown.

My partner and I visited the chelsea brasserie on the weekend and it was an incredible experience. The staff were extremely attentive and so eager to help with any queries. I felt the price for the quality of food was incredible. If we ever return to Cheltenham we will definitely be returning. Thank you it was a lovely experience.

What a delightful restaurant! Lunch was incredibly delicious and the menu catered for a meat eater and vegan diner. Service excellent. Would definitely recommend a visit. Lovely view of Cheltenham town and convenient spot for a stroll among the shops to work off lunch.

The Food was excellent, the service was really friendly and the meal was great value.The glass of champagne each at the end to was an unexpected bonus but very welcome bonusIn summary we’d arrived as strangers but left treated as if long term regulars and friends!
