Finding this restaurant by chance we were glad we'd not gone anywhere else. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing. The steak was perfect and the desserts were delicious. We enjoyed not only a lovely meal and drinks (cocktails at this restaurant are a must) we had a lovely chat with Ash the owner. Here we felt welcome and relaxed and it definitely felt as though nothing was too much trouble. You receive a warm welcome and a friendly set of faces. Definitely when visiting Cheltenham again this restaurant will become our go to place. Absolutely awesome!

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch.......I had cheese soufflé and sea bream. My friend had prawns on bruschetta and salmon. All cooked to perfection. It's a lovely, stylish restaurant - excellent service. Friendly yet professional. Definitely the best place to eat!

What a perfect combination; lovely atmosphere, perfect food and amiable service. The lovely barman made a cocktail not on the menu and the chef visited the tables after service to meet her customers....unheard of confidence in their food. Absolutely will return.

Not to many restaurants to choose from at present on a Sunday night in Cheltenham! However we got lucky here.Great food and service .First course was the beetroot infused smoked salmon which was a delight , and main courses of duck leg and salmon risotto - both highly recommended.All round great experience- thank you and hope to return

Sometimes you just know when you walk into a restaurant if it’s going to be good or not. From the first greeting, I knew this would be good and I wasn’t let down. We were warmly welcomed on our first visit to this little gem. It was quiet for a Friday night which was no bad thing. Chose drinks from an extensive cocktail and beer menu and they were brought swiftly. The menu is a classic European bistro style but many of the dishes have a South Asian twist which I absolutely loved. Throughout, service was friendly and cheerful. A really lovely evening all round. The only thing I’m disappointed in is it has taken so long to try this place. It won’t be the last.

Decided to have dinner out and I am so glad we decided to come here. From the moment we arrived to when we left, I cannot fault this place. The staff are so friendly, the perfect level of attentive, the food and drinks arrived promptly, the presentation of the food was perfect and was absolutely delicious. I had the scallops to start, then the venison and pannacotta for dessert. My husband had the king prawns, the chicken and the New York cheesecake. All the dishes were so good. My compliments to the Chef, this was good. We will be going back - which in Cheltenham where we are not short of good restaurants, that is a massive compliment. Thank you so much to all the staff.

We arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday night. Ashley (front of house) greeted us and found us one of the only spare tables. The warmth of his welcome was matched by the quality of the food that followed. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the team.

Our visit to the Chelsea Brassiere did not disappoint!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail masterclass that we did and the three course meal was delicious! The service was excellent and all of the staff were very helpful and attentive! Would recommend booking the Chelsea Brassiere for a special occasion!

We visited Chelsea Brasserie for a hen do on Friday night. The staff were really friendly and welcomIng. The cocktail making was great fun and our host Ash was a good laugh. The 3 course meal was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We had a fab night and would definitely recommend Chelsea Brasserie!

I booked the Brasserie for my sisters hen party and I couldn’t have been happier that I found this incredible place. Sammy was super helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond to make our party feel special. We had such a fun time at the cocktail masterclass with Ash, he instantly made us all feel comfortable and looked after us really well. After the masterclass we moved to the dining area where our table had been decorated - this was such a lovely touch. The food was beautifully presented and everyone was impressed with how delicious all 3 courses were. Would 100% recommend visiting this place, I would love to come again!

Went for lunch on a Saturday. The atmosphere inside was very inviting, busy tables chatting away. Ash the manager was amazing, so friendly & knowledgeable. For someone who has allergies eating out can be tricky, Ash knew his menu inside and out. The menu clearly stated what allergies it contained which is always helpful plus if you need something adapted they will do their best to accommodate where they can. We had 2 courses for £12.95. Our starters were Fish Tempura & my husband had Chicken Skewers, the batter of the tempura was as light as a cloud and the flavour was beautiful. The chicken skewers had an Asian flare, such a nice depth of flavour, so nice that we ended up sharing our starters as we both didn’t want to miss out. For our main we both had pork loin, again so tasty. We will definitely be returning, we would highly recommend going here, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Ash for making us feel so welcome, keep up the good work.

We came after The Ivy mixed up our booking but we are glad we did. The staff very friendly and accommodating fitting us in at no notice despite being busy. Food was fantastic, good choice of drinks and cocktails and loved every mouthful of food, can't fault the place. I would recommend 100%

We had a great evening at the Chelsea Brasserie, which could become out new local. Delicious food, really attentive service and good value - definitely an improvement on 131! We'll be back......

My wife and I, along with my father in law and his wife visited the Brasserie to celebrate my wife's birthday and I must say, celebrate we did!The food was amazing, the wine was delicious and the staff were both attentive and discreet, even the place itself was welcoming and inviting.The only disappointment was that we failed to get the ingredient list for the jus which accompanied my venison, it must be a closely guarded secret like the recipe for Coke!The icing on the cake was the cake brought out for my wife to celebrate her birthday, great touch.We intend to revisit the next time we are in Cheltenham very soon.Thanks to all the staff for making a great day better

Visited this evening and i must say the food was absolutely gorgeous I as salmon risotto while my partner had the marinated chicken breast (I also tried this because it looked so delicious) there was so much flavour in the food full of colour and the presentation felt like I was eating in a high end restaurant in London but at a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend it was gorgeous we will definitely visit again

Not wanting a traditional Sunday roast, we went on-line to find somewhere different that wasn’t a rip-off.We pre-booked a table for 4 covers and our choice was perfection itself. From the moment we stepped inside, meeting Ash, the Manager, to the moment we left (somewhat reluctantly) our visit and experience was idyllic. Quaint and cosy seating areas despite COVID. The menu was enticing, varied and we were spoilt for choice, with our gluten free and veggie family members. I had to control my wish to say “one of each please!”Each of the 12 courses selected were different, tasty and beautifully presented, There was perfect spacing between courses and the drinks menu was comprehensive. Service was impeccable without being intrusive and Ash was knowledgeable and passionate about his business throughout our stay. Will definitely re-visit and recommend to family and friends.

We dived in here by chance to avoid a sudden thunderstorm but were extremely glad we did. We went for the 2 courses for £12.95 option choosing starters and mains rather than puddings. There were 6 varied options for each course, 2 meat 2 fish and 2 veggie for the mains. For starters we had a delicious broccoli and stilton soup plus a delicate tempura fish. Both were superb. For mains we had avocado on a risotto base and chicken breast in a mushroom sauce. Again both went down well and portions were a good size, although we shared a portion of chips, since be aware side dishes are not included. The head waiter (Ash I believe) was absolutely excellent and kept the atmosphere light and welcoming but very professional. We will most definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere, light airy brasserie. Everything was of a very high standard. Staff were extremely professional and courteous. Food really delicious and beautifully presented. We lingered for ages over our coffee and did not feel as if we had to rush. Set menu good value - nice range of options using good quality ingredients - I could have had any of the dishes. Highly recommended.

This is my second time visiting and the food was absolutely beautiful. I had a well presented mackerel bruschetta, there was a burst of flavour with every bite. I proceeded on. to have a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. I then ended with a slice of cheesecake. My night was outstanding what a night to remember

Coming back to chelsea brasserie after a period of lockdown seemed surreal, you would expect for the immaculate standards to not be replicated after a month of being shut, but I can gladly say those standards have been maintained if not exceeded.

Loved my evening at the Chelsea, great service from Ashley, Paula and Ricardo. The food was amazing and they were happy to meet food requirements for myself. Also do lovely cocktails. Would fully recommend and Will be returning soon.

Enjoyed a lovely takeaway tonight. Tempura fish. Pear salad. Tiger prawn linguini. Grilled chicken. Grilled veg and new potatoes. For a takeaway food cooked to perfection. Piping hot and service with a smile from the chef. Will be back for dinning in soon

We had takeaway from chelsea brasserie tonight.all the dishes was very good.but one criticism sweet potato fry was oily. I understand by the time we received the order by deliveroo it was 45 minutes later. Next time we will pickup our self

despite the lockdown we ordered a takeaway and it was amazing. the food was magnificent. cant wait for lockdown to be over so we can come here and get the full experience. 10/10 highly recommend

During the second lockdown I ordered a takeaway from Chelsea Brasserie. I never thought fine dining standard would be able to be maintained though a takeaway, I am delighted to say Chelsea brasserie proved me wrong. I was incredibly impressed by being able to have an amazing 3 course meal through a takeaway. If you want a high quality of food during lockdown then Chelsea brasserie is the place to go. highly recommend.

First of many lockdown takeaways. Today we enjoyed tempura fish pate Seabass. Risotto. Cheesecake. All was beautiful cooked and very hot which i was not expecting for takeaway food. Highly recommend

This is our 'go to' place to eat in Cheltenham. We go at least fortnightly - and also used the takeaway option during lockdown.

My partner and I visited the chelsea brasserie on the weekend and it was an incredible experience. The staff were extremely attentive and so eager to help with any queries. I felt the price for the quality of food was incredible. If we ever return to Cheltenham we will definitely be returning. Thank you it was a lovely experience.

Chelsea Brasserie has to be one of the best restaurants in Cheltenham for value for money it did not fail to disappoint

Friendly staff, excellent service, lovely ambience and a delicious meal. The complimentary glass of fizz started off our anniversary meal perfectly and the evening was superb in every way. Would highly recommend.

What a delightful restaurant! Lunch was incredibly delicious and the menu catered for a meat eater and vegan diner. Service excellent. Would definitely recommend a visit. Lovely view of Cheltenham town and convenient spot for a stroll among the shops to work off lunch.

Amazing food and service. I went to chelsea brasserie with my partner last night, we were welcomed by Sammy, who was incredibly hospitable. We proceeded to have drinks but we were stuck for choice with all the amazing options, we asked Mun who was working at the bar, he was like an alcohol connoisseur and incredibly talented and knowledgable individual. What stood out about Chelsea brasserie was the passion of the staff who seemed like perfectionists and ensured there was high quality throughout our experience, this was foreshadowed through the incredible presentation and exceptionally cooked food. My partner had a linguini were as I opted for the chicken breast. On behalf of my partner and i we want to thank Chelsea Brasserie and we hope to come back soon.

I attended Chelsea brasserie recently after previously visiting in 2017, I must say they have maintained and if not improved their high standards, in addition to this it was amazing to see familiar friendly faces as well as highly welcoming new ones. Arranging a suitable reunion for old friends is always a bit pressurised, but I certainly made the right choice last month in booking a table at the Chelsea Brasserie. From the moment I spoke to Sammy on the telephone to enquire about my booking, I was made to feel that I was in experienced hands. One of my friends is in a wheelchair and Sammy reassured me that there would be suitable access. On the evening itself, we were given a warm welcome by Sammy and were made to feel special by her attention to detail, her professional manner and her friendly personality. The food was delicious, and that was the view of all of my friends. Special thanks to the chef! I had the apple, pear and walnut salad to start with, followed by the lamb shank. Both were tastefully presented. Sammy was attentive to our needs, and the drinks suitably flowed. I could not fault the food, setting or staff, and I will definitely be returning before long. Thank you Chelsea Brasserie.

I went to chelsea brasserie today with my family and it was amazing. It is an incredibly nice and relaxing restaurant and not to mention the welcoming staff. The food was top quality and amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant and my personal favourite dish would be the sticky toffee pudding.

My husband and me went to the Chelsea Brasserie last night and were thoroughly spoilt both by the staff and the food. I had the scallops to start with and they were perfectly cooked. The lamb I had for my main fell off the bone and both the meat and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Husband had the prawns as a starter and the steak for mains - they were both delicious, the steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I can’t recommend the Chelsea Brasserie enough, also because of their very attentive staff - we will be back there and bring friends very soon!

Montpellier Cheltenham, the ideal location after a day of walking around the Cotswolds. But little did I know that avoiding the usual high street staples (like Cote, Ivy etc etc) would land us in a fantastic little gem of a restaurant, the Chelsea Brasserie. The welcome from Sammy was warm, as was the elegant decor and eclectic atmosphere. We were on day two of birthday celebrations for my (better) other half so I was hoping the food would be as good as friends had told us it would be. And we were not disappointed! Starters set the tone, with us arguing who’s was better - my succulent tiger prawns or her perfectly seasoned sweet scallops. She won!But the best was yet to come. While she enjoyed some braised lamb that literally fell off the bone, my boneless ribs went perfectly with potato and mushrooms complimented with a flavoursome peppercorn sauce. But the real winner was the fillet steak I ordered instead of desert! Just ....wow :) Cooked to total perfection with a sauce recommended by Sammy that hit the all the right notes. Of course my partners desert, a very satisfying salted caramel and dark chocolate tarte looked amazing, so two spoons were requested!From the friendly and professional staff to the amazing food and atmosphere, this is one restaurant we will definitely be coming back to. Absolute 5 star dining, meals arrived really fast, service was amazing and food was absolutely perfect. Would come again and again.

We booked online prior to leaving home. On arrival we knew we had made a mistake when we realised we were the only customers. Staff were pleasant but not very interested. I had the Lamb shank which was not hot and greasy , my wife had the sea bass which was very dry . We chose a bottle of Shiraz which was nice enough. The two restaurants next to it were very busy, which tells a story

Thank you to the team at Chelsea Brasserie, went there to celebrate my Birthday as it’s my daughters favourite restaurant and once again the food and service did not disappoint. The grilled chicken and the cheese soufflé still their favourites. Thank you.

Fantastic food , attentive staff and a wonderful ambience. Set right in the heart of Montpellier. We originally had a party of 24 booked but due to pandemic all changed. Sammy still catered for us making our evening wonderful .Sammy has a lovely restaurant here and we are looking forward to returning soon. Highly Reccomended

Have visited this lovely restaurant several times this year for lunch. Each time the food and service has been excellent. The menus have never been the same but the food has been consistently good and excellent value for money. The staff are very efficient and attentive. We will certainly be going back again soon.
