Brewdog Cheltenham in Cheltenham

Very pleasant lunchtime experience today at Brewdog Cheltenham. Cam was an attentive and helpful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. My wife tried the Cluck Norris Burger & Fries and I had the Patriot Burger & Fries and the craft beers that we also enjoyed were the Punk IPA, Black Heart, Hazy Jane & Wingman. The varied generally Rock music was very much to our taste too.

Sadly the food was not up to expectations and some frankly inedible. Usually a fan of spicy food but this was just terrible, all spice no flavour or quality. Staff were mostly helpful although overly defensive of the food quality. I think you either need to drink far more beer to enjoy it or hopefully this was just a bad day for them.

It was a great, all the staff were really attentive and they talked to us it was fabulous thank you!

Service slow, we reserved a table yet was kept waiting with staff walking past oblivious, til I had to go to the bar to ask re our reservation. Then when we went up to order, to be told the draft beer we wanted was only at warm room temp as staff had left the door open so it was going to take 2 hours to get up to chilled temp. Not the standard you expect with a company who specialise in beer & brewing. None the less. Food was nice, hassleback potatoes were divine.

Spending our hard earned money on warm beer. Not good. The staff did mention the temperature before pouring but the whole draft section should have just been closed OR they charge a much cheaper rate. Shame as I love Brewdog

We didn't eat, had drinks on a Monday evening after the literature festival. The wingman is a favourite of mine.

First time visit and food was amazing unfortunately the service wasn’t as good although it was quite busy. The one thing that has put me off is that you have to go to the bar to order your drinks rather than table service which I found unusual.

We went on Friday night so expected it to be busy but they were so understaffed. One man serving all of the tables, he was very nice to but so stretched. One man behind the bar and another clearing glasses so being served at the bar was also difficult. The toilets were absolutely gross massive leaking puddles you had to avoid, so grim need to be sorted. And the chicken burger was okay but a bit over fried so rather solid. But main issue was lack of staff on a busy Friday night.

Really good experience last night at Brewdog, great food, great music, great service and great beer.

Mostly good bottomless wings, there was a long wait for someone to come round and take an order for more wings, then another long wait for the wings, I understand that it’s a popular thing but it kind of undermines the bottomless part.

Came for bottomless brunch. Had a voucher not sure if that made a difference. We managed 4 drinks in the 90 minutes. Only 1 of which we were asked what we wanted (the first one). Every time after my husband had to go to the bar to ask for another drink. No one came and told us our time was nearly up. Food choice very limited on the brunch. Didn’t get asked if we wanted sides or how if we enjoyed it. Menu has biscuits for dogs. Asked for some gold they no longer did them. Has to go get out own die water even though there’s pictures everywhere of visiting dogs. Asked to do the rock paper scissors challenge to be told they don’t do that for brunch. Didn’t feel very welcome.

I could live off the buffalo wings.

Friday afternoon visit. Staff were really attentive and patient. Deliciuos beers and tasty burgers for food. Was able to sample a couple of beers before deciding which to buy. Food was amazing.

Nice sharing plater and power protein salad. Hit the spot! All washed down with a bottle of Merlot.

My husband and I wanted a quick bite to eat after a late lunch. We were able to easily slip into a table. Very quickly a waiter appeared for a drink orders but was happy to take our food order instead. Brewdog’s menu is always delicious and the night we came in was no exception. My husband had bacon and cheese fries while I had cauliflower wings in the Korean barbecue sauce. It was a little loud for us, like we couldn’t hear each other when we tried to talk to each other, but I don’t hold it against them as it was a Saturday evening at 7:30. And We really appreciated how efficient it was. From sitting down to leaving it was an hour which is exactly what we wanted! Thanks Brewdog (esp your wonderful staff) for a fantastic evening snack.

It was ok. But for the price it was bad if that makes sense. It was £86 for 3 adult meals and 1 child and no alcohol. Atmosphere was nice. Staff was friendly but service was slow. Death by chocolate dessert was dry. Patriot burger was good. Mac and cheese was great last time we went here but bland and just just not good this time. Blue cheese side salad was the best thing we had. Fries had a weird taste and were dry and cold.

Did wings Wednesdays with my mate loved it . Wings were very tasty very impressed. I’m a chef and would 100% recommend

I've visited this brewdog before with a friend for breakfast so was keen to take my husband for dinner. Food was great, service was fab and the vibes were good. We both really enjoyed our visit and will be glad to return. Great experience all round. The deep fried oreos are a thing of beauty!

One my favourite pints so that helps, Food was very nice and cooked correctly. The side of potato’s was amazing The kids got chicken nuggets and one got hopbox which was a little disappointing as basically it cost £2 for some crayons in the box.

My son and i had a great evening at Brewdog Cheltenham. The service and food was excellent, the staff are always friendly and can’t do enough for you! We had a great time celebrating his degree success. See you again soon!

Food and drink was very good. Nice atmosphere and service from the guy working on Sunday AM behind bar was first class.

Brilliant venue, service and food. We had the bottomless brunch. Possibly the best breakfast we have had. The brunch burger was mouthwatering! Husband tried a good selection of drinks whilst I enjoyed lots of Prosecco.

Awesome, the staff we so friendly and a pleasure to talk too. I’ve been to a lot of Brewdog Bars and I feel this is the best by far!

BrewDog Cheltenham offers a solid experience, living up to the brand’s reputation with a good selection of BrewDog beers and well-chosen guest ales. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are generally attentive. It's a decent spot for a drink, especially if you’re a fan of the BrewDog range.

Went for Wings Wednesday. Place is understaffed and very difficult to get their attention. Actively avoid you. Wings were good but each batch tasted a bit different to the last, either spicier or more sauce than previous.

i came in the other day and the girl with blue hair served me, she was super friendly and met our requests to a high standard. Evey time I have come in she never fails to accommodate with a smile :)

I am not the biggest fan of BrewDog as an organisation. However, their bars are perfectly acceptable if run well. This was one such bar. The staff had time for a chat and banter over my favourite beer styles. It turned out that the man serving me was involved in a brew that I had had before and that I rated highly. I bought a couple of bottles to take away as well as two halves.

Great place to have a drink. We were nicely welcomed.

Our server was just straight rude, took 25mins for the drinks to arrive. When I said I was an equity owner and offered my EFP ‘card’ from my phone, he visibly rolled his eyes and inspected my phone for ages before he reluctantly handed it back. He would leave before we finished order more food or drinks and again rolled his eyes when we tried to call him back. Food was great and came out in good time. Other tables were equally upset by his attitude with one couple leaving after taking their order but ignoring them when they hadn’t received anything at all for 30mins.

Came here for some lunch a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the food was!

Has a couple of pinballs, but there is no way of obtaining the £1 coins needed to play them as the bar is cashless. Pointless.

Food was absolutely amazing.cocktails were so good.

We all had a great time at BrewDog yesterday, Dave was brilliant and kept us all fed and watered, some of my friends hadn’t been there before but are big fans of the beers, lost and elvis juice particularly, I will definitely be back soon

We love coming to celebrate different things. Its atmosphere is relaxed. The food is always amazing and the children love it here. Xx

Buffalo flavor is tangy, we didn't like it for second time, suggest changing it. Korean BBQ flavor is very good.

I came in and was immediately greeted by a girl called hailey and she was absolutely amazing! She had knowledge on all the drinks and recommended one she thought I would like and oh was she right! The drink I had was amazing and I couldn’t stop buying more! Who ever hired her was a smart person she is absolutely great!!!

Would avoid for food. We came as a group for lunch and ordered online with not all orders coming to the table. Chicken burger was pink in places but was given a refund. Prices as high and not the biggest. Would advise not to go for food.

Re Wings Wednesday. Waiting way too long to be served more wings to the point where we were unable to do so as the kitchen was then closed. Not enough staff and the staff that were there were either too busy or not really on the ball. Disappointing.

Overly greasy onion rings and burger and all the other food smelled like oil. Portions really small especially kids mac n cheese. Atmosphere and beer defo worth the visit. Better food down the road for allot less.

Refused to offer me a rock paper scissors even though it states it on the menu

Deliveroo rider here - staff told me it would take 5 minutes. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes. This is with atleast a 15-20min lead time. Staff looked unbothered and actually quite scruffy with dirty shoes.

Very average experience all round from service to food quality. Service staff not in uniform and communication lacking. Disappointing.

First night going to Brew dog and we really enjoyed it the food and the atmosphere 😁☺️

It was busy due to wings Wednesday but due to lack of staffing, the place was chaos. The couple next to us had been waiting 20 minutes just for a menu. The first plate of wings looked like they’d been sat on the side for a while. Bit disappointed.

Prices are good and the food is great, the staff though, not so much. Beware of Ellon the manager, his attitude is quite randomly thrown at you. Not a single smile for the 1.5 hours we were in there and when our food arrived he gave us just a few seconds to find out who ordered what before he blurts out ‘Well I’m not telepathic guys you’ve got to tell me where to go’. I look up ready for a laugh because that has to be banter right? No, he was deadpan. Maybe it was because we didn’t order any drinks? Regardless, it was just completely bizarre that of all the staff the manager was the rude one.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Great visit. I popped down Thursday booked a table for 1830 Saturday. We ended up going Friday as well which was for the beers. Which we enjoyed. Saturday we had some late night burgers after plenty of beers and they were outstanding. For sure going again.

Great place in a great location with a fantastic selection of craft beer (their own plus guest beers) Dogs are always welcome at ALL BrewDog locations! Beer to go fridge where you can select cans/bottles to take home

I’ve been here twice and always liked the service. I appreciate that the staff will let you try samples before you commit to buying a pint. I like the mini Mac and cheese portions as they’re a very reasonable price for what’s essentially a full meal. I find the buffalo sauce wings a tad overwhelming though!

Chicken was dry and the fries were a bit cold. Our waiter was very nice however we waited quite a long time for food with no updates given.

The wings were very poor not a lot of meat and some bits were so hard I couldn’t bite it

Didn’t eat here but the drinks options are amazing, each beer has its own matching glass and beer mat, thought that was cool!

Food was very tasty. Maybe a little expensive for what it was as you have to pay for every extra such as chips or coleslaw with the burger. The service started off good with burgers being brought quickly and staff were really friendly. However the desserts took about an hour to arrive and were not great. I would probably stick to just a main if I went back. Paying the bill seemed a lot harder than it needed to be. Because the serving staff were busy, they asked us to pay at the bar so we had to queue for about 15 mins. When we wanted to use club card vouchers, nobody seemed to know what to do, so the manager had to be called which caused a further delay. Desserts were removed from the bill for the wait without needing to complain, so they knew the service had been poor. I know things are increasing in cost and we eat out a lot so things are more expensive but this was not really worth the cost. There are plenty of other burger restaurants that would be cleaner and cheaper . It’s a shame because from the outside it looks like a nice place and the burgers did taste good. I think the staff want to serve well but are just too busy. Maybe it was an off day!

The reason why I rated 3 was that there wasn’t a lot of people on service. Admittedly we went on a Sunday evening but he had to wait occasionally to be able to order drinks at the bar. The thing which lowered the food rating to a 3 instead of a 5 was that two peoples burgers got mixed up. I think what caused confusion was the sides were put with the wrong burgers so they assumed they had the correct burgers until someone mad the comment they didn’t have their chorizo. It turned out the chorizo burger was with the 2 sides the other person had ordered who hadn’t started their burger yet so didn’t realise they had the wrong one. Unfortunately that person did not like chorizo or black pudding so had to dismantle the burger. We do take some type of responsibility and didn’t say anything at the time as we had somewhere to be so couple wait around but they were all separate orders so you would expect the correct sides with the correct burger. Thee ones that got the correct orders really enjoyed their burgers/wings. We have been previously and think the burgers are amazing. It’s just a shame with those couple of orders that got muddled that a couple were disappointed.

Wings were ok, though having to pay for dip after the first round is delivered is a bit tight.

Love the brewdog vibe inside. Food is good and the IPAs are great. Only issue with food is I don't think the chicken is freshly deep fried but maybe just oven cooked from frozen as a little tough. But still would highly recommend the buffalo sauce range!

The food was good as always however very disappointed in the cleanliness. The floor was sticky it was so dirty and the fabric on the benches at the table was disgusting. I didn't want sit on the bench it was so stained and covered in filth. The whole place needs a good scrub!

We really enjoyed it! Used our Clubcard vouchers and that was for drinks too! Great atmosphere in there and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Good selection of beers obvs, but plenty of other options available. The two kids loved their burgers and the apple juice, and I had the wings with 2 sides. All delicious. Only quibble is 7 wings (single!) for £11.45 is very steep! Lovely nonetheless. Thanks. We recommend it and would return for sure 👌

Loved it!!! When I ordered the side of onion rings I was expecting three or four tiny ones, nope huge crispy ones about six or seven of them. The macaroni cheese was delicious as were the hasselback potatoes. My friends all enjoyed their meals too! Brilliant food at brilliant prices.

If this was our first time visiting, then it would probably be our last. We booked a table for food, when we arrived we were told to pick a table. No one came over to take our order (nor were we told we had to order at the bar or via the qr code). Last time we visited the server was very attentive, asked how our food was, if we wanted more drinks etc, not this time though. When we went to pay, using Tesco vouchers, the server wasn’t sure what to do and then proceeded to say how much she hated the Tesco vouchers! We did try and order via the qr code at the table, but you can’t put Tesco vouchers in with it. Love the place if you’re just having drinks, but wouldn’t rush back for food.

The guy who works here (long hair, cool T-shirts) is a great guy! Really helpful in finding a beer I’d enjoy on my first visit that fit my dietary requirements. Let me sample it too and was absolutely dead on with what he thought I’d like from what I said I normally drank, which isn’t beer. I don’t go in daily or even weekly but when I do, as soon as I approach the bar he’s there with a friendly greeting and my order remembered. 10/10 customer service in a really genuine way. A nice place for a swift half on the way home from work for sure.

Slightly disappointing... We had the vegan burgers - very unimpressive in appearance, £14 for a modest fairly plain burger on a platter - paying extra for chips and whatever. Tasty enough, but we were left disappointed. We came early afternoon so it was nice and peaceful but not completely empty Good beer - which is perhaps what you come for rather than the food?

Visited a fair few Brewdogs around the country and this one ranks near the top. Quality service from Cam & Harvey, and went the extra mile for my lactose intolerance checking all milk on any non-vegan food or drink I had. My kids loved it with the board games, especially Jenga! My daughter's kids chicken nuggets were a very generous portion being a kids meal - also fantastic it was kids eat free! My lad had a Death by Chocolate dessert - not for faint hearted! I enjoyed Return of the Veg Burger, with smashed cucumbers and coleslaw - all 3 vegan. Cheers Cam & Harvey - we will stop again when we are next passing Cheltenham 👍

It was interesting. Limited interaction with a server. Sometimes this is good. Sometimes its bad - like if you have a question, want another beer, or need the bill. All points that were valid in our experience. Food pricey - chips/sides extra.

I booked wings Wednesday with a mate and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere when I arrived and was busy which was good to see. The wings selection was immense and had the buffalo and Korean wings and my mate had the vegetarian options. Good selection of beers from brewdog and guest beers. The brewdog kolsch and Vienna lagers were good and went well with the wings. Had 3 of the guest beers as well which were all really good from mad scientist and boundary brewing.

Service as always was slow and hard to catch any if the staffs eye!

Good atmosphere. Very good service. Very good beer. Food? The kitchen staff are letting the place down. There is absolutely no excuse for the ‘chef’ sending out chicken breast in a buttermilk batter that is so over cooked that the batter is very dark brown and the outsides of the chicken are as dry as mother Theresa’s gear box. Such a shame when one member of the team is letting the side down.

The wings are good, but could be better if you had less batter on them or offered them without batter.

We had been given a voucher as a Christmas present but were told we could not use it as it was only for online purchases. The person who gave us the voucher had called into the restaurant and was told it could be used for food. We now have a £50 voucher that is of no use to us as we are pensioners and don’t really drink

P****OPHILE'S PARADISE We were in Brew Dog when an older man started staring and leching at my children with no remorse. His friend said that he couldn't look at kids, but he carried on until I got up and caused chaos and told him not to look at my kids. The staff told me that because they hadn't seen him staring that they couldn't ask him to leave. My children and myself were all witnesses of this man making us feel uncomfortable, but the staff just moved him across the restaurant where he kept looking over. They basically said that they didn't believe this as they hadn't seen him do it, despite 7 witnesses. I am shocked and appalled at the staff in here turning a blind eye. If you're a n0**ce it is the place to go!

Nice modern position, fitting in well with the bars and restaurants around. I enjoyed the beer offerings and the wine was also good. The food however - cauliflower wings weren’t hot - just warm. I normally love BrewDog. Maybe it’s just me and Jane but we like our food piping hot.

I've visited a few times on the off chance as I hadn't booked anywhere and managed to get in. The staff are all super friendly and helpful with suggestions of beers. The food is well presented and really tasty. The only thing I could say bad is that most of the burgers came with bbq sauce in which im not a massive fan of, but im sure if I had asked, they would have changed it. The atmosphere is layed back with a side of rock and indie music which I really enjoyed.

The staff were really friendly and helpful when they came by, but we did have to ask them to take our dessert order and then to bring the bill (it wasn’t busy when we visited). The burgers were fantastic and the kids loved playing rock/paper/scissors for their pudding, but one of our party ordered a main salad that was poor for the price. Flight of beers was fun and discovered a new fave. Would visit again but would not advise ordering a salad.

stood at bar for about 5 minutes doesn’t sound that unreasonable on a saturday night, but while 4(!!) staff stand around gum flapping & lol-ing with each other, with ZERO acknowledgement, its kinda grating that i cant get them to TAKE MY MONEY 🤡 went to Brewhouse & Kitchen, staff much more customer focused

It may have been our lack of understanding but it wasn't made clear to us on how the bottomless wings worked. When I asked about the leaderboard I was told I had to hit 35 I said that doesn't seem difficult but when I asked about how quickly wings would be delivered I was made to believe the service wasn't great and there was a point where we waited a long time for a plate but then 2 game along very soon afterwards. I'm not sure it's something we will do again but glad we tried it and the wings did taste good.

Great burgers and good beer. Good service from friendly, knowledgeable staff who are always keen to help. A little quite on a Sunday afternoon but made for a very enjoyable late lunch.

Chose Brewdog for the buy one burger get one for £1 promotion which made it a great value meal out. It took half an hour to get drinks, and after chasing found out there was an issue with the order getting lost due to a change in till roll. Food was good though, and the kids enjoyed playing rock paper scissors with our waiter to get a free desert - which we won, but then had to ask for the cost to be removed from our bill!

We had a great night, food was fab, beer was strong ;-)
