Lengthy delivery time and the wrong item delivered. Disappointing unfortunately.

very small for a large fish. Luke warm. dripping in grease in fact the whole brown bag was dripping in grease. Batter totally soggy and fish barely covered in it. not good value for over £20. not up to usual standard at all. was also late and took well over 90 minutes to deliver.

I'm a truck driver so have had my fair share of chips from around the country and have to say these are in my top 3. I'd have to say the price was pretty average but didn't have fish nor did I look at the price so take my opinion as you will! Bright clean place with pleasant staff, I will Absolutely be back when in the area

Been using them since moving to Shepshed 5 years ago. By far the best chippy around. Never had a bad meal. Always piping hot, food is really well cooked. Delivery always on time if not early. Our regular delivery driver(older chap) is so lovely always has a smile very polite. Portion sizes very very good. Thank you to all the staff.

Fish was overcooked, had been sitting for too long in Bain marie so dry and rubbery. Chips were fantastic as usual. Super fast collection.

The food arrived late even tho the chip shop is 10 minutes around the corner, with no apology from delivery driver. The sausages, beans and gravy were warm however the chips were cold. I was quite surprised by this as the food and delivery is normally spot on from here.

Lovely clean chippy, been probably about 6 times in 4 years and always absolutely beautiful food. Portion sizes do depend on who makes your order but have always been good.

Awful service, it took 2 hours from placing the order, to our food arriving - which was cold. This was despite 2 phone calls to find out where the food was and twice being told "it's just been sent out" We ended up going to the shop and having the order remade - a 20 minute round trip, which doesn't explain the 2 hour wait for our food. Hopeless, abysmal service

Was given a delivery of time of 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes... Not a big issue, but was hungry and looking forward to receiving my food. 2 hours later, still no delivery... Phone the restaurant... Rsstaurant closed... Pretty annoyed

absolutely idiotic delivery drivers. unable to deliver to the correct house and instead of checking the address gave my food away. Had a delivery code so driver was too lazy to do job properly. We had to call the restaurant to find out where our order was. ordered at 6:30, now 8:10 and now having to wait for another order👍🏻

Just back from holiday popped in for a bit of local food ,we both feel dogey this morning the fish smelt a bit off to me , my kebab went to the bin after 3 bites. Not sure what is going on there. But previously everything was okay, yes prices are going up but thinking twice about going back,.sad that I have to post this

Order placed at 07:30pm - Still waiting at 09:20pm. 2 hours for sausage & chips! I could have drove from Shepshed to the seaside in that time and had chips on the seafront!

I order and pay 2hours before the order was delivered and dry and cold.

Rather overpriced due to lack of local competition. Seems to have high turnover over of staff but they are always friendly. Another issue is portion sizes, there is no consistency. One week order is sufficient for family then another time totally lacking.

The WORST fish and chips ever! Should have taken them back really but we were starving. Fish tiny, and more like a Ramsdens frozen piece of fish, no decent batter. Chips anaemic. Yuk. Good service though. Can't comment on atmosphere as didn't eat in.

Oh my word is this THE saltiest fish and chips I have ever ordered. You could SEE the salt! It was unpleasant as a result even though the shop itself is very nice and modern. Not sure I am going back. If you go MAKE SURE to specify salt and vinegar amount!

Ordered at 4.20 on a Saturday night to receive it 20 minutes later, food was lovely and hot, great portion sizes and friendly delivery driver. Would recommend.

Had a message wrote on my kebab box , only had cucumber and I only had a few bits so had a kebab basically meat in a pitta, no salad, very dry!!!!

The cod was really terrible. Spent £22 on two pieces. They were the thinnest bits of cod I’ve ever seen. Really very poor.

Great fish and chip shop, friendly staff and a great selection of fish and kebab meat, plus all the extras you could think of. My only gripe is that I'd like them to reopen the seated area, as I believe it would be useful for elderly members of the community.

Gone down hill recently, Prices have gone up and quality has definitely gone down, Had large cod and chips and tbh I was very disappointed, almost all batter with a very thin slice of fish through the middle, Been a regular customer for years and I'm so so disappointed, wish I didn't have to write this as it seems a shame

Best fish and chips I have tasted in a very long time. Visiting family in Shepshed, and I placed an internet order on a busy Friday night. Easy-to -use website, and the order was delivered within 30 minutes in a very polite and friendly manner. Delicious “regular fish and chips and mushy peas” Excellent!

We had regular meal deal and paid £18 this is a crazy price,and one one which is unacceptable!! How can families afford this? They can't,you have outpriced yourself!! Usually the food and portions are nice but this time I didn't get as much meat in the wrap.

Ordered regular fish which cost £7 the only options were regular or large. The fish was a peculiar rectangle shape so had obviously been cut but was no bigger than a large fish finger. Though the quality andvspeed was good it was way overpriced and poor value. Will return to the usual Batter Days at half the cost and twice the size.

One of the most reliably good chip shops in the area, food really tasty and great choice. Had a bit of an error with our order tonight however the lady I spoke to on the phone dealt with it really well and we still ended up happy with a delicious meal

First ever bad review. Sausages inedible. So under cooked but batter was so greasy! Have them to my dog. Burger was so sloppy and fell apart. Cheap burger. Chips was soggy too

What a disorganised bunch of people! I've waited for 15 min and nobody was happy to serve as two were busy packing one person order, the third one was just standing there and staring in a space. Shop was empty anyways so nilot like they couldn't cope with volume of clients. Disgusting!
