Order placed at 07:30pm - Still waiting at 09:20pm. 2 hours for sausage & chips! I could have drove from Shepshed to the seaside in that time and had chips on the seafront!

I order and pay 2hours before the order was delivered and dry and cold.

Rather overpriced due to lack of local competition. Seems to have high turnover over of staff but they are always friendly. Another issue is portion sizes, there is no consistency. One week order is sufficient for family then another time totally lacking.

The WORST fish and chips ever! Should have taken them back really but we were starving. Fish tiny, and more like a Ramsdens frozen piece of fish, no decent batter. Chips anaemic. Yuk. Good service though. Can't comment on atmosphere as didn't eat in.

A happy place to get my chips. Can eat in but basic and clean. Lovely people, kind, friendly with the best curry sauce for my chips around here.

Oh my word is this THE saltiest fish and chips I have ever ordered. You could SEE the salt! It was unpleasant as a result even though the shop itself is very nice and modern. Not sure I am going back. If you go MAKE SURE to specify salt and vinegar amount!

Ordered at 4.20 on a Saturday night to receive it 20 minutes later, food was lovely and hot, great portion sizes and friendly delivery driver. Would recommend.

The cod was really terrible. Spent £22 on two pieces. They were the thinnest bits of cod I’ve ever seen. Really very poor.

Had a message wrote on my kebab box , only had cucumber and I only had a few bits so had a kebab basically meat in a pitta, no salad, very dry!!!!

Great fish and chip shop, friendly staff and a great selection of fish and kebab meat, plus all the extras you could think of. My only gripe is that I'd like them to reopen the seated area, as I believe it would be useful for elderly members of the community.

Come here quite a lot and always good and hot food and service is always top notch! Definitely recommend.

Gone down hill recently, Prices have gone up and quality has definitely gone down, Had large cod and chips and tbh I was very disappointed, almost all batter with a very thin slice of fish through the middle, Been a regular customer for years and I'm so so disappointed, wish I didn't have to write this as it seems a shame

Best fish and chips I have tasted in a very long time. Visiting family in Shepshed, and I placed an internet order on a busy Friday night. Easy-to -use website, and the order was delivered within 30 minutes in a very polite and friendly manner. Delicious “regular fish and chips and mushy peas” Excellent!

We had regular meal deal and paid £18 this is a crazy price,and one one which is unacceptable!! How can families afford this? They can't,you have outpriced yourself!! Oh and the chips were cold and the fish tasteless.No thanks!

Usually the food and portions are nice but this time I didn't get as much meat in the wrap.

Ordered regular fish which cost £7 the only options were regular or large. The fish was a peculiar rectangle shape so had obviously been cut but was no bigger than a large fish finger. Though the quality andvspeed was good it was way overpriced and poor value. Will return to the usual Batter Days at half the cost and twice the size.

One of the most reliably good chip shops in the area, food really tasty and great choice. Had a bit of an error with our order tonight however the lady I spoke to on the phone dealt with it really well and we still ended up happy with a delicious meal

First ever bad review. Sausages inedible. So under cooked but batter was so greasy! Have them to my dog. Burger was so sloppy and fell apart. Cheap burger. Chips was soggy too

What a disorganised bunch of people! I've waited for 15 min and nobody was happy to serve as two were busy packing one person order, the third one was just standing there and staring in a space. Shop was empty anyways so nilot like they couldn't cope with volume of clients. Disgusting!

Absolutely awful service, I ordered online for delivery, The food never turned up. apparently my phone number was wrong but my address was correct. But still they couldn’t deliver. After calling them they said they would resend it but again it didn’t arrive. I called them again and got a barrage of abuse. They then told that if I want a refund I would have to go there. I’ve ordered from them before in exactly the same way and they delivered. Don’t know why it was different this time but I definitely wouldn’t go there again after the way the guy spoke to me. Do not order from this place. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service.

Is by far the best doner meat I've ever had, always cooked great not too thin with some chunkier bits too and more well done. Great chips and always served by the pleasant and welcomeing staff. A very clean and modern chip shop with ample parking spaces at the front and also round the back.

Was never delivered when I rang Charnwood fish bar they refused to give me my money back and then said two days time I still haven’t received it

Excellent but they have changed the potatoes-different taste but fine.

My order was incorrect. Asked for a quarter pounder no salad and ketchup, and got loads of salad on it

On the last visit I was welcomed by a lovely girl who was pleasant and efficient the fish chips and peas are the best round here

When I ordered it was supposed to be a 20-40 minute delivery time. The food arrived almost two hours after ordering. The food was nice but the portion sizes were very small. I ordered a large tray and what arrived was certainly not a large tray. Overall a very disappointing experience

A bit dissapointed tonight, its usually very good, but tonights food was lukewarm, the chips weren't the best and the fish batter wasn't crispy and fresh, it was very greasy and a bit spongey.

Food great but 1 item was missing. Afraid to say I usually have something wrong with orders.

Only been to this place once and I am sure they are much better then my experience. Price wise expensive, which I don't mind if the food is nice... The chips were tasteless and full of grease. The savaloy was cold and full of water and tasteless too. Won't be returning to this chip shop to find out if it was a one off.

Order the chicken tikka and chips meal deal, confirmed, around half an hour later, they rang to say they had ran out of tikka. Lovely on the phone charged the order food was very nice a lots of it to. Many thanks PC Order again soon.

Very disappointed with fish £6.90 and was smaller than a chunky fish finger very overpriced was meant to be regular but have had larger mini fish.

Nothing is cheap as chips anymore including chips aha this is a great chippy with good quality chips and no frozen foods. Although it sells kebabs it’s not a kebab shop. We visit here for take out regular. Lovely quality.
