Was excellant service and the food arrived hot and was very tasty . The staff was very good and place was clean. would give it 9/10. .

Family run cafe/restaurant simple dishes caters to all. Just had drinks and desserts and all was great. I love the owners nothing is a problem for them good hard working people 👍👍 Update went for dinner last night, everything as good as ever Lovely Rib-Eye Steak and Kleftico for my wife

I ordered a 'fresh pasta' from the menu and was served noodles! Price was extremely high, in fact the most expensive pasta I ever had (£20).

The food was ok but the lady at front of the house was quite sneaky. Came to the table towards the end of the meal to ask whether I’d like a refill of my coffee, and before I could answer, just took my cup away. I ended up paying twice (£8.50) for chai latte from a poorly mixed instant powder!

Was at the restuarant yesterday for my birthday they know me and my family well as we are in their alot for birthday meals and things and will hopefully be returning for new years eve this year the birthday belly dancing and music is fun and makes the atmosphere more lively and entertaining its certainly very unique love chambers and i totally recommend it

very underwhelming. Ordered lamb kofta and Mediterranean rice which was basically just boiled rice. First restaurant i have been to where a) had to ask for some water and b) was charged 9 pounds for it!!!!!. Apparently was a mistake when we queried it, was only 4 pounds 50!

Excellent neighbourhood spot that falls somewhere between restaurant and fancy cafe. The menu is long & full of choices, drink options fair, pricey but fair for a spoil 💕👑 Staff is helpful and nice, and ensured we were happy and food was satisfying. I have been here yesterday with my friends and the food is lovely. I ordered chicken skewers which was very tasty. My friend ordered moussaka and she said it was also good. The owner is a very friendly lady, felt like being in a Mediterranean country! Will definitely come back again!

A great little restaurant on the edge of Victoria Park. Fantastic wide selection of mediterranean food at reasonable prices. Most food is home made and they make the best tzatziki ever! I've been there a number of times and have never had a bad meal. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. Would recommend it!!

I just want to thank the lady manager from Chambers who comforted me & tried to help me find my mobile phone which I left on a bench just near them , I left my partner's phone number with her then went over to the Ice cream parlour and got it back , some wonderful person handed it in to them, she was so lovely to me , I will get her name and add it to this soon ok? Went to eat at Il Parco today (25th March 2023) and the owner of chambers (part owner of Il Parco) came to my table once i had paid for my meal i had with my son and told us that we were banned from Chambers and Il Parco due to writting reviews about my experience at Chambers. Thought that was rude and not a valid reason for banning me. Anyway, will be sad not to go back to Il Parco and personally think the owner of Chambers has some serious issues. Lets just say I won't miss Chambers!!!! Previous review: Ordered some food over the phone for collection. When going to collect the food a nice lady behind the bar was ready to take payment as our food was ready upon our arrival. Whilst standing at the bar whilst the lady entered the amount into the card machine, a blond waitress approached the till area saying move! Go sit down! The lady that was about to take the payment from us explained this to the blond girl, however the blonde girl was adimit that we sat down and "moved" out her way. VERY RUDE BLOND GIRL!!! NO RESPECT FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!! another waitress approached me as I was leaving and apologised for the blond girls disrectful behaviour and attitude! Food was good though 👍👍

Such a shame that the price of the food now really doesn’t match the quality at all. I’m sorry to say that the Sunday roast is no better than a cheap local cafe, frozen potatoes, awful pre packaged meat, terrible thick tasteless gravy, hard vegetables. Been coming here for many years but not any more. Last dinner I had I had to complain as potatoes were brown in the middle and tasted awful. Was offered a free dessert!? The prices are in my opinion extortionate for the quality you receive. I don’t mind paying if it’s decent. I’m afraid the “Victoria Village “ rubbish has clouded some local businesses mindset into thinking oh we can charge what we want. Ok well at least serve decent quality food? Also very hit and miss, maybe there’s a problem with the chefs? Very disappointing as it could be so much better.

You can always find me in this restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff really are amazing. They have a family vibe and always welcome us in with big smiles. They even bring lots of toys/ crayons for our little boy which keeps him entertained. Love it here and would really recommend.

Sunday lunch after a walk round Victoria Park. Excellent food & warm, friendly service.

Went here for a Valentine's Day meal. Very friendly staff and the food was really tasty. It's not the cheapest place so it will only be for special occasions for us but it's definitely worth it if you want a nice quality Italian meal. The image provided was just starters as I must've been enjoying the main of Wild Boar Ragu so much I forgot to take a picture.

The food is of worse quality but much more expensive than McDonald’s. Sorry this is not at all Mediterranean cuisine. £15 burger is basically a small bun with beef meat and slice of cheese. No pickled cucumber, no tomato, no salad, no onion and no sauce. Come on! The service seemed OK though.

Went in January, been many times, food is always good, service is good, wine is good, but on this visit we sat inside because it was cold outside, sadly it was too cold inside, everyone had to keep coats on. Spoiled at nice meal

Fabulous food served here. We were delighted with our choices. Pleased with our choices. Food was superb and plentiful, very tasty, well presented, great prices and the quality of ingredients was fantastic. Pleasant surroundings, warm, friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend

Had my first ever Sunday roast here, and it was delicious! I got the lamb Sunday roast. Meat was tender and flavorful. For dessert I had the banoffee pie, which was really good as well. Will be back for sure!

Lovely place to eat for a Saturday brunch with the family - who would have thought you could eat outside in November ! As the weather was perfect Friendly staff, good service, we all had a full English and what an amazing Full English with perfect poached eggs. Hope to visit again

We had a wonderful lunch at Chambers yesterday. A rare family get together to spend quality time! Our host (the loveliest lady!) made it so relaxing and couldn't do enough for us. We felt so chilled and my little boy could walk/crawl around no problem... The food was delicious and cooked perfectly and the service was everything we could have asked for. They even cleaned up my little boys bib and spoons. ❤️ Thank you for making our afternoon one to remember!

I come here once evey two weeks at least to eat or even just yo have a drink very friendly staff the owner is amazing, looking forward yo my Christmas Dinner with my family here this year ❤️

Of the dozen or so Michelin distinction restaurants we've been to in the last few months this was one of the best. The black sea bass, ricotta cavatelli, even the cauliflower were all excellent. The two cocktails, Continental Baths and Forsyth were very good. The service was very good, but we had too many different people attending to our table all rushing around. The sommelier was very competent and made a nice suggestion on the wine. The room that the restaurant is in was pleasant, modern but comfortable, and the tables nicely spaced apart. There is limited seating so, reservations are hard to come by.

Vegan breakfast and tea, just over priced very low standard of ingredients 1 small mushroom, uncooked tomatoes and low grade olives with tiny portion of canned baked beans 1 hash brown and 2 small veggie sausages for just under £12, breakfast tea £3 Service… just note the response lol. I don’t mind paying but I don’t want McDonald’s quality for £12 price ticket.

Disappointing to say the least. It was our first visit for breakfast and the owner (it may have been) was sitting outside and barely acknowledged us and made a face when we asked about breakfast times. Very unfriendly. Food was okay, nothing special. Pancakes had a weird burnt metal taste. Overpriced for the quality. Shame as it’s in such a lovely location. Won’t be going back.

Lovely position with great service & food

have eaten here a few times in the past with the family. Usually a good experience hence the 3 stars, but on this recent occasion i got a bad stomach shortly after eating here. I had a pizza with beef and a small bowl of chilli sauce on the side. i suspect the chilli sauce was off here, possibly left out or re-served.

Really lovely restaurant just next to Victoria Park. We sat outside and shared greek salad, tzatziki, bread and kings prawns with house rosé, all were delicious. Only small thing was for prawns we only got 4 on the dish which wasn’t many for £8.50 it cost and given they were so tasty! However this wouldn’t put me off returning and trying more of their dishes.

Visited yesterday for the first time and was very impressed. Lovely friendly service. Ordered a mix of dishes and all came promptly and fresh. Then was surprised with a birthday song and complementary slice of the most delicious chocolate cake I’ve ever tasted. A definite winner and we’ll certainly be returning! Complements to all and thanks for making the end of my birthday a lovely one 😊🥂

Came across this restaurant by accident & stopped off for an afternoon drink. Ended up staying a few hours & ordering a mixed meze to share which was delicious. The staff were so friendly & 1 lady chatted to us for ages about Istanbul as my friend is visiting there soon. Would love to revisit this lovely restaurant another time

Lovely food and friendly staff..atmosphere is nice too..the reason im giving chambers 3 stars is that the amount of food you get for your money , they need to give more food on the plate...they really have got so expensive here..although if you eat at lunch they have cheap menu..just expensive in late afternoon and evening.

Absolutely fantastic. Been in London about ten days and have eaten there twice with my wife. Got the lunch special and appetizer that came with it. Every bit of it was really great. Had two different servers, unfortunately I can’t remember there names😔 but both very very nice ladies. One was from Latina and one Turkey. They were fantastic also. I highly recommend this place Especially for the lunch menu. I have not tried the main menu yet no need to.

The hummus and the cold aubergine were delicious! Would come again, a perfect spot for a summer evening.

Went for a friend’s birthday lunch, the staff are really friendly and attentive. They came out with belly dancing music and got 2 of us up, it was hilarious! The food is very good and we were not rushed at all.

We had the all day breakfast which was really nice, the atmosphere is very relaxed with a shabby chic vibe to be it and the service was good. Will definitely be going back there and will go for dinner next time.

Food is lovely, especially the hummus, very fresh. Perhaps ask for the salad to be seasoned, as it was served plain - but easy to fix.

Service was great and owner/ chef very agreeable! Food was however lacking in my opinion. Very average and rather overpriced for the pasta and mixed grill we got.

Visited Chambers for a Sunday roast for two, both the lamb and beef were succulent and plentiful, roast potatoes crispy and soft in the middle, Yorkshire puds light and tasty, veg cooked to perfection and gravey rich and smooth, went for a cheesecake for desert, beautifully presented, so moreish , served with sauce and cream just right, good selection of drinks available, Staff were friendly, new the menu and make you feel welcome, recommend and will be a regular. Update. Yes became a regular and definitely not disappointed with my new venue, perfectly positioned in Hackney/lauriston village, a stones throw from Victoria Park, how ideal. Loved the Scilian sea bass, cooked to perfection, lovely depth of flavours in the sauce. Lamb kleftiko melted in the mouth and the lamb kofte was one of the most succulent I've tried in a long time. All served with great well cooked sides. Don't miss out, quality food served by friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, Well worth a visit, inside and outside seating, good children's menu.

OK cafe food - the options are fine, but the quality is only OK.

It was quiete when my husband and I went on 22nd December 2021 for a late lunch. 2 people were already there then 3 people came after about 45 minutes. Food was OK. I had the tuna it was covered in the tomato sauce which I would have preferred to put on myself. I like to see my fish. My husband had the fillet of seabass which he really enjoyed. The food came quickly. We were offered liquer drinks on the house which was very nice. We declined as not out type of drink!.

Popped in unplanned. Owner seated us straight away and OMG the food is outstanding, service was amazing. The whole experience was first class.

Friendly staff but highly priced considering the quality of the food in my opinion. But it definitely is a hub for people of different age groups which is great!

My flatmate loved the 90s playlist (is think I can say the same). I had a superbe Mediterranean breakfast full of flavours and very filling! Also added on a top a fantastic orange and carrot juice. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Price is right on spot in particular compared to overpriced places that we can find nearby. I can't wait to go back to taste more of their Mediterranean selection.

Great food run by lovely people good for celebrating a birthday

Lovely restaurant, great staff along with very good quality of service, food very nice indeed although 'like most others now' the meal portions are cuisine size 'Less for More' business approach. Eaten there many times & will continue to do so, great atmosphere inside & out when busy which is most of the time. Manage under pressure really well, Sunday Roasts very nice, the menu has a large choice for all tastes but I think requires a refresh an update with some new choices. If I'm not wrong it hasn't changed for a very long time, so when as a regular have had virtually everything on menu throughout the many visits & so always look & hope when opening the menu for change, something new but never seems to happen. I don't think I'm wrong in saying this & do eat there on a regular basis now for? 6 - 8 years maybe even longer.....

After walking around the area, came back to this restaurant/cafe as it had a great original menu. Had a great Chambers breakfast and a savoury pancake. The service was very attentive. The staff brought some water for our dog too!

Nice and smiling when you arrive, but how quick it changes waited 20 minutes for my breakfast to arrive, nothing special, and then staff make you feel like you are still here eating taking up a space. Every time staff walk by they are eye balling your table to search for items to clear, felt extremely uncomfortable from the moment our food eventually arrived till we left. Won't be eating here again EVER AGAIN true definition of wolf in sheep clothing, over priced medicoa food avoid with avengace.
