Tea was shit only thing good about it was that it was warm Wouldn’t recommend

Staff was rude and when asked to use the bathroom they said it was out of order when there was no sign to state this? Walked out really disappointed as I usually do enjoy the food

Went here...for a cuppa ...they had toilets but said they were blocked...no assistance at all ..told me to go to a near by takeaway ....what a joke

I have not received my order, I asked the driver to call me when he was outside. Am very poorly and my husband was waiting outside for the driver. Very disappointed

Have to say that this is the best karak chai in Bradford by some distance! I have sampled chaii from a few places now both in Bradford and Birmingham and nothing compares to the taste and freshness of the karak chaii from chaiiwala. I visited both Bradford branches and on this occasion it was the Leeds Road one. Their customer service is both friendly and efficient! Highly recommend folks!

I ordered an iced coffee but they literally put ice in hot coffee and make it iced coffee and it taste disgusting. waste of money.

This place gives me childhood memories when I was like 7 or 8. I went with my cousins to eat the Nutella wrap. Also came here to eat keema with crunch paratha. Nothing beats a good ol' desi breakfast shop! 5/5

Lot of this options were not available, Karak Chai sugar free (Not available) Karak Chai 50/50 (Not Available) They chai what we order was not hot as it should be, only one staff was there working and seems very inexperience and confused. We have been other Chaiwala’s and never felt that disappointed. Please sort it out 🤦🏽‍♂️

The best Chaiiwala cafe in Bradford. The best atmosphere. The best seatings and tables. Always looking clean to perfection. Staff are nice, friendly and always deliver the best service. Food and chai are always made fresh at the best temperature. Best service ever and everything!

As with all Chaiwala establishments. Only get the tea. The food is nothing special personally speaking.

Kadak chai, bombay sandwich and masala fries, bun omelette is good too. Halwa poori is a must try. Friendly and caring service.

A bright morning to have a fantastic start. Had a wonderful breakfast on 5th March 24, Tuesday morning. Indeed the one I often love to have and do recommend. The staff were so nice and lovely and is a nice place to visit again.

The food is awful, just microwaved to hell and take like 40 mins to cool down, even the tea is microwaved, no nuts added to pink tea, really bad quality, Person behind the counter can't understand the word samosa I had to draw a triangle ona piece of paper for them to understand

Would not let me give 0 rating, with no Choi of mine had to give 1 star. Food is burnt both the chana and omelette, can taste nothing but burnt onions in the chana and the omelette is burnt and extremely greasy. Called the takeaway to inform of the situation and was told the chef didn’t burn the onions or the food, I explained I’m sat here with burnt food that is only got for the bin. Extremely disappointed and will never order from there again. I would like a full refund

Had no choice but to give 1star otherwise I would give an 0. Order desi breakfast, arrived burnt both the chana and omelette, chana can taste nothing but burnt tarka the egg is the same. Rang to inform and was told the chef said they haven’t burnt the onions in chana,but yet im sat with burnt taste in food, no quality checks done! Absolutely disgusting service will never order anything from this place again and do not recommend. Food was only got for the bin!!!

Doughnuts were saturated in oil, tasted soggy. Chicken and sweet corn pastry was thin, minimal filling and not very warm. Hot chocolate drinks were nice and so was the chai drink. Would not recommend for food.

Ordered through Justeat and I ALWAYS leave order notes as everyone there knows who I am and that I’m very particular. Today the inept store manager decided to put someone called ‘Suman’ from GHR branch in at this store and she missed a drink of mine. Shameful considering I’m Leeds road most regular customer and the staff know that. Another thing that was missed: I specified that I wanted extra crushed almonds & pistachio in both chais and the one that came had none in. ‘Suman’ must be spoken to and retrained until she can follow order notes properly. I want both ‘Suman’ and the store manager to be fined £10 for their incompetence. There’s no excuse for not following order notes let alone messing up the order of a regular customer. To make matters worse I went into the store after to take this up with ‘Suman’ and her behaviour was pathetic, I had photo evidence of the missing item and the receipt and she didn’t say sorry once and instead said ‘are you sure it wasn’t the driver’. Then she decided to tell me they ran out of the sugar free chai which I got a taxi and came all the way to get because she couldn’t fulfil her duty properly and pack all items ready for delivery! Leave her at GHR branch and do not bring her in for anymore shifts at the Leeds rd branch as she’s utterly incompetent. What’s worse the store manager was hiding in the kitchen instead of coming and taking accountability, I expect swift action to be taken, as this is unacceptable and I want it taking further. .

In last months this branch i mean leeds road, this branch changed from zero to hero , this branch makes changed My opinion about Chaiwala, the customer service there more than 5 star !! I really mean it , i asked the top man there his name is Abu baker, I came from gulf we have very high standards there and i found with this gentle man + its helped a lot that he SPEAKING ARABIC.. thank you so much

Went for breakfast this morning and it was amazing. The parratha and omlette was spot on and customer service from the lad abubakar was brilliant. Will defenently be back. Highly recommended

I visited with my family earlier today and honestly chaiwala has the best breakfast in Bradford. The service was as good as the food especially from Abu Bakr. Very very polite gentleman with brilliant customer service skills. Its a 10/10 from me and we will be visiting soon again In Shaa Allah.

We had the Shakshuka and Paratha, amazing taste and flaky textured paratha perfect for chai dipping. Highly recommend it. Sundas was very helpful and provided a good service

Brunch with family. Quick service. Food was warm. Tried Loaded fries for the first time. Kids enjoyed there meal. We enjoyed our meal. Nice quite seating area.

The place had a good ambiance and the food was worth the hype. I tried desi breakfast, which had omlette, chickpea and two rotis. The taste was so good and and had a good serving portion too. The kadak chai was spot on. Lemonade tasted natural, it had no added sugar.

Purchased 2 omelette rolls both with 3 extra toppings at 30p each. 2 aloo parathas, 2 sausages and 2 lamb bacon rashers to take away. Order was repeated back to me to confirm. Waited 25 mins for my order which Is fair enough as its a que service. There are orders before me to be completed. Finally take my order home and there's only 1 omelette roll. Tried calling and kept on hold on automated system for over 40 minutes with still no answer looks like there were alot of others waiting on line to complain. Its a shambles. You trust these businesses to give you what you PAID for. First time in Chai Wala and definitely my last. Their aloo parathas are basically frozen shana parathas. I could've bought a pack of 5 for the price they sell for 1. Nothing authentic about this place. Charge ridiculous prices for defrosting items. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

rip off prices and rip off portions - if I wasn’t hungry and wasn’t taught to respect my food it would’ve gone in the bin - almost £7 for pani puri with 6 stale puris and smallest keema portion (sheep meat) naans was one of them shaan nans you get from Tescos 50 for a fiver or something - my advice to anyone stick to your chais that’s what they are good for unless you want get ripped off for some cheap bad tasting food.

A little on the pricey side but other than that I always have a nice experience here, and I get my order exactly like I want. Very impressed with the veg and kabab rolls, they were delicious.

The service is atrocious. Got my order wrong, told me after paying that they didn’t have any channa. Charged me extra for chillies and tomatoes in my wrap and didn’t put them in. Asked for a tea and coffee, gave me 2 pink teas instead. Wouldn’t go again. Don’t deserve even 1 star and not reviewing out of spite.

Smelly place. Need cleaning especially after customers eat. Food is not up to standards. Bad customer service asked the girl behind counter to clear the tables but she said 10mins then wasnt happy to clean or tidy also tables were dirty. 👎

Overall, it was okay. The chickpeas were cooked in tin tomatoes and had a very bitter taste. Service with a bit of smile would be brilliant.

Missed order for Garam Choclate on 22 May 2023, as also missed an item Aloo Tikki in the past on 18 May @ 1843, where I was asked to request for refund and am asked to request for refund today again for the missed item. I had a guest at home who wanted Garam choclate, so I placed order for the large Garam Choclate. Had to order it from elsewhere paying for delivery charges again. It's so convenient for the staff at Chaiiwala to say oh, just request for refund where I have to go through the hassle. It's happened twice in a row. I wish the manager or owner takes some action and responds to my query. Am thinking of taking the complaint to the compliance team who are responsible for monitoring conduct of food business in the UK, and on other platforms for feedback accessible to general public across the UK. Even the Uber driver who delivered the order today stated that ChaiiWala Leeds Road has been missing over items in delivery constantly, and that he has come across this situation while delivering around 7 to 8 times in the month of May 2023. And this is the feedback from just one Uber driver alone.

So very disappointed with both the Bradford Chaiwalas! Called in at the Great Horton branch on Saturday 20th and ordered a karak chai frappe as part of our order only to be told that they ‘didn’t have the mixture’ for it. Popped into the Leeds Road branch on Sunday for a standard rose falooda to be told again ‘ we don’t have any’!! Why on earth wouldn’t you have milk and rose syrup as a given?! Very annoyed as I constantly recommend Chaiwala especially for its East African mogo chips vibe! 😠

Great Horton branch extremely poor. I got a dhaal for breakfast during ramadhan and it tasted disgusting as it had a very sour after taste When you travel out of bradford as a regular customer, this level of service is extremely disappointing. Please do not go there.

Ive been calling them since 9am and no one’s bothered to pick up the phone i dont think you’ll gain customers like that, ive also been ringing great hortan road!!!!

I gave chaiwala a 1star because they are never consistent in the taste. It's either warm, too much sugar, watered down. The staff are great I have no issues with them. I'm just fed up with companies like these pretending to be professional and failing. I was buying 2 cups a tea a day but have now took my business to Karak chai.

I ordered chana and Halwa puri. Unfortunately the puri's were horrible, they tasted like rubber, they were tasteless, just like plain rubber eith no taste. My son said the same thing. Please use a different flour for puri's. The chana and Halwa was fine.

Definitely one of the worst experiences trying to call these guys. They have serious phone issues that don’t bd addressed. I’ve told them over and over and they say nobody else has issues calling them but as you’re waiting for your food because you’ve had to wait because you were unable to place a phone order you’ll hear the girl repeatedly say hello hello on the phone so it’s obviously not just me with the phone issue here. They are always understaffed and when are they seem very flustered when handling more than two or three orders. The omelette wraps are never consistent depending on who made it. I use to enjoy this for breakfast as I passed in the morning but now I don’t bother.

Visited after a meal on the recommendation of a fried and was surprised to find a long black hair embedded into my milk cake. Lovely staff members but landing some basic hygiene. Disappointed and won’t be returning again.

Enjoyable desi breakfast, sausage roll, chips, Karachi bun kebab. Bit of confusion regarding my coffee. I am a long black drinker, so the very sweet creamy coffee was a little confusing. Good price.

There tea is just on another level when comparing to other tea shops in Bradford. The quality is just there.

Ordered omelette wrap the pratha was frozen packs one and was cooked in a panini machine you could tell as had the machine lines in the pratha and so dry from outside not cooked on the inside cooked in a rush by probably a teenager who can't be bothered the omelette had too much haldi no onions or peppers got told pay extra for toppings lol £2.90 for a dead omelette wrap cooked quickly no effort put into it at all rather make it at home 10 times better

Chaiiwala is a hidden gem with an iceberg of a menu. On the top level you go there to have a caramel chai latte and an omelette wrap... Tasty By the third time there you're ordering Chicken Naan wrap with Masala Cheesy Chips

Went in to the store on sunday 9th Oct a young girl was serving me tea when I seen a big cockroach in front of where she was going to poor the tea. I was absolutely disgusted by this considering I have previously eaten from here in the past !!!

My wife ordered from here recently - I would never tell anyone to order the masala chips. They don't put enough sauce on, and we had not even a single spring onion which is stated on the description of the item. The chips came soggy, very dry, flavourless, cold.. I had cheese added on it also for an extra 50p which isn't even worth it.. thats £4 straight in the bin! Never order the masala chips! I will never order from this restaurant either again, as if this is what one of the items is like, wonder what the rest would be like!

Good, been here twice and the food and drink has been better than the other two I have been to both times so they're doing something better than those branches. Tables need clearing a bit more often however to be fair it looks like the staff have a fair few things to keep an eye on all at once. Aloo tiki burger was good.

Chaii was overly sweet and food mediocre. Seating area wasn't clean and there were no customer loos.

Had the halwa puri brekkie with channa and a karak chai. It was all below par, I ate in. The puri was plastic in appearance and texture, I asked the guy if this is what it's always like and he responded with a nod. The halwa had no flavour to it texture was okay. The channa looked a few days old and tasted worse.

First time visiting this place in Bradford, prices are ok, staff is nice, order aaloo paratha and cheese omelette roll. Aaloo paratha was very small seems like a joke but omelette roll was really good. Got 2 karak chai as well they were good as well. Taste was nice, atmosphere is good. Will surely visit again.

Absolutely wonderful..the menu is so inviting and tastes even more divine..I had on a (cheat day) a spicy chip butty and nimbu pani..wow! Wow! Wow! The place is small but definitely worth a visit!

Great and friendly staff who helped us giving free samples of different beautiful chai. Absolutely loved it and would definitely go again. The food was great too with great seating and atmosphere inside. I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you went looking for a quick coffee or a place to sit and eat with friends.
