Tried one time randomly as liked the menu and since then this one became my favourite place to order from, amazing food, delicious and prepared just the way I like it

Without looking at the menu I ordered a meze plate with olives and bread to take away, It tasted fresh and tasty. Will order again.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. Appalling quality for an overpriced meal. Not only were prices not on the menu, but charged us extra for sauce without telling us, we were the only people in the restaurant and yet they still repeatedly got both our orders wrong and brought them at different times. The room was freezing cold, we had to wear jackets. When my partner asked for a discount considering the numerous problems with our order, they refused, didn't apologise once, and aggressively insulted us many times, telling me my partner is difficult and that I should break up with him!!! Worst valentines day ever.

DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible food, hidden prices, owners are extremely rude. Would not recommend at all. My biggest regret is agreeing to pay for the awful experience.

I was looking forward to having this dinner with a group of friends but what a disappointment. The mixed starter was great, the mixed chicken shawarma was too salty. Both dishes arrived after a long time and the fries were slightly cold. Unfortunately the worst part was that when the bill came and I told the restaurant manager that the price shown on the menu for the starter was lower we had an argument and he eventually said that if I didn't pay the higher price someone else in my group would have to. I find that disrespectful considering that the error was on their menu (the price for the starter was not amended on the menu I got and even when I showed that to the manager the argument continued). Assuming I'm not going bankrupt for £5 extra charge and neither is the restaurant, a good customer service would have made a good impression on me and others. For this reason, the slow service and salt complaints within our group I won't recommend the place. There are other Lebanese restaurants nearby with fresh, tasty dishes and friendly staff.

No bread (it said it came with it) also said it came with dips (plural) there was one tiny dip between 2 and it was basically pure garlic, lamb was dry. Not very impressed there are much better options available in Leicester!!

Meet up with friends here tonight. Ambience was neutral. The could do with playing some upbeat music. The service wasn't great and waiter mixed up the order. They had only 3 types of cocktails, so not a lot of options. It appears that there might be only one chef on duty as the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen. The flavour was hit and miss. Many of the starters were tasty while the mains had issues with some. The lamb chops was overcooked and burnt. The fries were salty. Portion size was decent. Prices were reasonable. I think chef was overwhelmed with the orders from a large table, so food quality might be better if table was smaller.

Checked out Ceders, the Lebanese spot, and it’s quite the experience. They’ve got a mix of hard and soft drinks to choose from, hitting the spot. Now, fair warning, the bathrooms need a bit of extra care in the cleanliness department. Let’s dive into the good stuff – their chicken is a taste bud triumph, truly delicious. The hummus and falafel also hold their own in the flavor game. Downstairs has a few tables, but the real vibe is upstairs, creating a cozy atmosphere. Props to them for serving water in fancy bottles, adding a touch of class. Despite the bathroom situation, Ceders delivers a savory Lebanese feast with a charming ambiance.

I've been coming here for some time and the food never disappoints, great authentic Lebanese cuisine- staff are friendly and efficient and the place is very clean. Definitely recommend it!

It is a great local restaurant with fantastic food. Ordered a selection of hot and cold mezzes, 8 dishes between 6 of us. All were well presented and tasted wonderful. Thoroughly recommend this place, especially if you're going to the footie or rugby and fancy some decent food. Staff are friendly and very helpful in helping choose dishes. A definite must if you're up this neck of the woods.

Food was all very nice. Only slight disappointment was the Veg Mixed Mezzes Platter which only had 1 of each item, when you'd expect it to be enough for two sharing for £12. All items very enjoyable though.

Bread was dry food portions, really small, the falafel was not edible.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Food was excellent, service was fantastic and the price was superb. We went with the dish of the day, moussaka, and ice cream for desert. Thanks for making my 40th very memorable 😀

A lovely little restaurant, with nice decor and ambiance. First time for me and my family trying Lebanese cuisine which we all very much enjoyed particularly the lamb. Wide menu selection with generous portion sizes and friendly staff. Parking was the only issue as it took me about ten minutes to find a spot not to far. Will definitely be returning.

Always welcoming...tasty food, great choices with more then enough to eat....comfortably cosy and spacious at the same time. Great view out of big picture window as the evening darkens and lights sparkle !

We shared the mezze started and had baby chicken and the mixed shawarma and all were really tasty. Nice range of drinks, including the Lebanese wine and beer but most importantly the host was friendly, helpful with food recommendations and called a taxi for us when we were ill equipped in a downpour and with 2 dead mobile batteries. Had a really nice relaxed mid week meal and would certainly return and recommend, thank you!

*BEWARE* Every dish served here is a ready-made item found at Yours Supermarket. The Hummus, Kebbeh, Falafel, Labneh, Sabousek, Moutabal are all frozen/cold ready made food that the chef reheats. The chef further insults his customers by serving CANNED FOOD (sells them for £4-5). We were served CANNED vine leaves, they were disgusting, he didn't even bother to remove the fat surrounding them, he just cracked a can and placed it on a dish. The chef's "Foul Medames" is also canned.. you can go buy it now.. it's called ""California Garden Fava Beans Lebanese Recipe"".. costs 89p a can. Even the Kebabs are frozen! You can find them at yours Supermarket now. How is this guy still allowed to sell food I don't know.. but what I know is.. Cedars is a microwaving service for ready meals bought from Yours Supermarket, which they sell you for x10 of the retail price. This restaurant and its chef is an insult to middle eastern food. 0 Stars, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Food arrived on time but was cold. Calamari over cooked and hard and the king prawns schells were burnt black leaving a nasty smell over all the food. Will not be using again.

Lovely authentic food, great service and reasonable prices.

Actual delivery was 19:15 not 18:50 as the app said...that was when the order was out for delivery...It is the restaurant that usually takes a longer time to prepare food...we are kind of used to it...quality is good though

I ordered this as a surprise meal for my partner who had been working late, the idea was for it to be all laid out ready, I ordered the meal at 17.30 withe a delivery time of 20.00. The meal arrived at 20.30 stone cold had to microwave it which meant removing salad ect. I called the restraunt which went straight to answer machine and left a message for them to call me back and told them what the problem was. So far no call back. This meal was not cheap around £36. Needless to say its put me off now, which is a shame because the food was ok, customer service was awful, if they had called me back last night I wouldn't be writing this today. A big thumb down im afraid and will not be visiting or ordering again.

A total hidden gem in Leicester. We had dinner here on a Friday night very last minute and after dining here surprised the place isn’t packed! Great home cooked food. Very authentic. Garlic sauce was amazing. And the host very hospitable. This will be a new regular for us.

The food was cold, also missed humour of the order. Took 45 mins over the delivery time when I called after 25 mins the lady at the resturant said the driver should be with you any min, however this took another 25 mins. Food arrived cold.

The delivery driver was waiting for us when we got home, that was 30 minutes before our requested delivery time. What we didn’t know was he had been waiting 15 minutes. So yes, the food was cold. We tried microwaving it but it’s never tastes the same. So, shame the restaurant didn’t read the order correctly. Not a happy customer. It’s a shame because the food is usually great

Very unimpressed with the meal purchased, nearly 1 hour late with no update. Meat was stale and very chewy. The ribs were over cooked and inedible. Honestly tasted like last nights leftovers. Will have to eat elsewhere next time unfortunately

Very well presented food. We had a main course each, based on lovely quality of that would give their extensive and tempting meze menu a good looking at. Serve a really good IPA as well to help it down. Result

Food was stone cold and bland. My husbands chicken and cous cous had two measles pieces of chicken in it and had no flavour what so ever when it was supposed to taste of lemon and garlic. I found a bone in my schwarma and again no flavour. The garlic sauce had more flavour than the chicken. Will not be ordering from here again.

Unfortunately such an abysmal experience 1hr 45min late Food itself was nice but main issue is that had to chase the order 3 time’s - no updates to say it was late in face the opposite was told it was on time No insight by staff into this poor experience- really don’t like writing negative reviews as can understand that many things can go wrong but a simple apology and an update and a call would have been sufficient - however none of this happened

Ordered a Cedars Salad, a hot Mezze, and a chicken wrap, arrived in around 25-30 minutes, all at good temperatures. Very tasty overall, all freshMy cooked,... a perfect takeaway with great food, Deffo a recommendation.

No words the best Lebanese food

This is the second time I have ordered and the food is amazing, the however the delivery driver asked for an extra £2 cash for delivery, this doesn't seem right so I challenged the driver and he backed down, but other people may find this intemidating

This was my first Lebanese meal and it was excellent. We are quite a long way away but the food arrived quite hot. It was very well cooked and the was plenty of it. It was really nice and I will try more from here soon!

Food came only mildly warm and missing items. Was a shame as what was warm tasted nice but definitely wasn't worth it. Also came 30 minutes later than expected.

Food was tasty and of good quality. However, order came with chips instead of rice. I didn't mind but it would have been nice to be told. Also, baklava while edible wasn't the freshest. 8/10 for food.

Calamari was inedible, dry and hard no flavour at all. Lamb was chewy. But the other meat was ok. Nothing special and for the amount paid i expected better.

The food was varied but the sausages were delicious while the skewered lamb was a bit chewy but tender. Generous portions and well/presented. The falafel was not over/fried but crisp on the outside but fresh and herby on first bite. I would recommend this place to friends

We read the good reviews and had a delivery from here. Delivered close to the time expected....opened up and it all looked great.... ....but then the Halloumi sandwich....had a lump of meat *in* it :( Sorry, but that is unacceptable and immediately dropped a possible 4-5* for the lovely vine leaves & other bits - a restaurant simply cannot be serving meat to vegetarians :( That said, the lamb was a bit gristly and chewy. YMMV

Food absolutely amazing would definitely recommend.

The food was really tasty and delivery was good. Pleased overall. My only negative point is that the lamb couscous dish was mainly couscous. There were four small pieces of lamb, and three other chunks of veg. The rest was couscous. I serve my four year old daughter more meat and veg than the dish contained. Tasted good though.

Delicious and very tasty food. Good size portions. I ordered a takeaway for my partner’s birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Portion sizes were TINY. I paid £6 for a fish ratatouille starter and it arrived as a minuscule spoon size amount. 3 tiny cubes of of chopped pepper and 1 flake of white fish. Felt ripped off and really disappointed.
