Local arts and crafts on sale. Plenty of eateries to choose from. service in specialist coffee shop however not very professional. Asked for a takeaway coffee and got frowns from staff, talking amongst themselves and looking back at myself. Not very professional!!

Some really lovely shops and food stalls. There are high quality pizzas, pan-asian, and European food stalls as well as gorgeous coffee roasted on the premises. There's also a pets corner for the little 'uns. Lovely artwork, artisan jewellery, a watch maker, glass work and chocolatier. Well worth a mooch around

My friends and I were turned away because we only wanted cake and coffee .( Not good )maybe one day you will want business and wonder why no one visits you

We have been twice. There is a good selection of shops and food. Our main reason to visit was a bite to eat. The main food hall is very good. With fabulous choice of food and drinks. We have also visited to smaller café. This experience was not the best. We were looking for breakfast. We were giving an extremely small choice with no traditional choices, no real selection of coffee. It was obvious why we were the only ones in When the carpark was full. Hence, the low rating.

Always a great experience- and even better that we can take our little dog with us whilst we have a coffee . Lovely cakes too !

Have been a few times before, and I'm always happy, but today, i had eaten my food before my coffee even arived. Coffee ordered before food.

The food was good and different! This review focuses on one gripe only. Should dogs be allowed into a dining room? One small dog was present at a table of five adults. They tried to keep it under control! It barked at any other dog that came near their table. The owner eventually sat it on the chair next to themselves so they could eat and hold the leash. The dog urinated on the chair, the owner pushed it under the table. It continued to urinate for an awfully long time for such a small dog. The party finished abruptly and brazenly left. Their precious pet barked at every dog it could find before exiting. We retired to the coffee shop for desert.

Cafe is quite bohemian as was the gentleman who served us coffee which unfortunately turned out to be bitter and a little disappointing after such an interesting start to our visit. Still worth a visit though, some great artwork both for sale and by creation of budding local artists. Tutoring available in certain artwork, glass, ceramics and painting plus studios to hire. Shops abundant in all things aesthetically pleasing and the best bit a farm complete with a animals to keep the kids, large and small, entertained. Reasonably wheelchair accessible. Restrooms (or lavatory to you and me) fair.

Tuesday walk in. Warm welcome and great service from Becky. Great menu and lovely selection of desserts with the pear and cinnamon sponge cake gorgeous. Highly recommended. Thanks from Marc and Joanne.

Lovely cafe, we sat outside and had a very pleasant lunch. It looked to be quite expensive, but the portions are value for money. My wife had a ham salad. The only downside was curried chickpeas, and she hates curry. Bonus, I got them instead. I had pate and cheese. The pate was Mackerel and was delicious. There was cheddar and Brie cheeses. I had to share some Brie as there was too much. Could have done with more bread and a choice as I don't like brown bread, but wasn't asked.

Nice new eating area in The Barn. Clean and food we ate (Italian) was very nice. Could possibly do with a wider range

Stopped for a drink and snack. Service was quick and helpful, and there was a variety of foods available.

Really quaint countryside cafe. We sat in a garden-like courtyard with the sun shinning. Friendly staff served us quickly and pleasantly. Fresh ingredient food arrived with care and attention paid to its presentation. Despite being full from lunch we all had to have a desert. I had the famous brown sugar meringue and it did not disappoint. To add to the experience, the cafe is surrounded by a number of little shops and some farm animals to visit and feed in well maintained areas. A great afternoon out.

Had the vegan breakfast. Excellent toast, beans, bacon and hast brown. Greens & peppers and falafel not as good but sure others may like them. Oat milk an option so also had a pot of tea. A lovely treat!

Lovely cafe that does really well because it always seems nearly full,and the coffee shop on the same complex is a nice place to relax and have a nice coffee ( or tea if you prefer).

Visited today, lovely and cosy with great staff. Had eyes too big for our belly’s and ordered too much! At such a great price. It was also lovely and warm on quite a miserable day. Will definitely be returning!

We visit this cafe regularly and are never disappointed. The specials menu changes daily and they serve the most amazing pasta's. Anything served with a salad is a good choice. The salad may have 6 different elements such as potato salad, couscous and the best curried chickpeas ever! Don't miss desserts, yesterdays choice included sticky gingerbread with caramelised pears and a honeycomb ice cream, just delicious. They always offer the meringue with fruit which is beautiful and a very generous size. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed, service is efficient and nothing too much trouble. We will be back next week.

First time been here the place was so clean the staff where so polite . Only had a sausage sandwich and a coffee which was so tasty most definitely come here again excellent place

I went on Tuesday lunch with my cousin and we had a fabulous lunch, soup followed by prawn open sandwich for myself and a tuna wrap for my cousin, the cafe was so busy but they coped brilliantly especially our waitress Becky. Thank you so much we will be back soon.

Nice place, just not my style of food

I wasn't expecting such a great meal when we arrived at Cedar Farm. I had the Cedar Farm lunch and didn't have any room left for much else. Great coffee which was roasted on site.

Big choice of food here. Worth a visit if you want something different.

Great for families, especially with young children..

You can buy the special teas and coffees that they sell. Although I'm not fond of the coffee they sell the tea is fantastic especially the Russian Caravan house blend

Really nice! Bit pricey but lots of choice and a comfortable 'food court' style to it.

We had hot drinks and scones with jam and cream in the new barn. Tasty and decent value, nice place to sit.

So disappointing. Staff are unprofessional, sat listening to one openly complaining about a table of customers sat outside in blatant ear width of surrounding customers. Refused to take our order at the counter yet had to wait so long for them to come to the table. Staff looked genuinely miserable to be there. Had to remind ourselves never to go back. 😣

Ready nice cafe & lunch spot. Nestled within a teeny country garden style courtyard with ample indoor seating too. Delicious menu choices, seasonal and to suit all. Lunch was a delightful elderflower gin fizz spritz that accompanied my choice of a mixed antipasto platter & Welsh rarebit for hubby. Fabulous!

Nice cafe but small menu. I had coffee and banana cake and it was good. Surrounded by various shops leaning towards the female visitor though. Nice animal selection as well. I would return but I'm not sure where it was.

Nice roastery, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere inside and out when not busy. Noisy inside when the big grinder is going! Nice cakes. They do takeout coffee too.

Lunch was lovely I had croissant with prawns and the most delicious salad would have given 5 stars but they didn't have my first choice try it you won't be disappointed

Love the place, it's so different from a normal cafe. Nice staff , coffe and cake.

Second visit and really like this relaxed country cafe. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for no butter on my open prawn sandwich. I don't understand why butter is needed when there is mayonnaise or marie rose dressing on sandwiches but apparently some people prefer butter as well. Lots of lovely crisp salad. My daughter had the tomato and mozzarella bruschetta which she said was delicious. Prices are reasonable too and Cedar Farm has some lovely shops.

We called in for lunch on Saturday 29/1 and despite being busy they found us a table quickly. The food was obviously freshly prepared and there was plenty of it . We did have a problem with one of our dishes and when we pointed it out the team were apologetic and replaced the meal straight away. Despite this we’d definitely go again and would recommend the cafe to anyone else.

What a cracking place, superb food and drinks. Very very friendly. Dogs welcome too.

Lovely little cafe with friendly staff, we only had cakes and drinks but they were all really nice. A nice small size hot chocolate perfect for the children and when we ordered they advised there was no cream for the hot chocolate which was not a problem but then a very pleasant server came and he explained they had found some and brought my daughter her own little tub of it which I thought was very kind.

I came for lunch on a visit to the printers. The food is absolutely excellent, very well presented and very tasty. The service was excellent and the owner made a conscious effort to be visable and did the check backs herself. Thank you!

Met up with my friend to Cedar farm last week been in the past before covid . We had toast n marmalade and hot chocolate the chocolate looked lovely but cold 🥶 and so was the toasted tea coffee ..(the butter wouldn't even melt on the toast it was so cold we asked could have some hot water to warm the drinks up but was brought warm water .Sorry will not return to cedar farm café

Nice little cafe, staff were lovely. A limited menu and a little overpriced, but then it's cedar farm! I wouldn't let it stop me going back :)

Really, really very pleasant lunch today. Peasant salad for my wife - lots of things thick cut bacon, mushrooms, chunky bread, and I had the smoked mackerel salad. Very tasty, good sized portions, pleasant setting.

Service and food fantastic as always. A busy cafe well run. I can only comment from adult view as I've never seen what they offer for children.

A good, quirky place to meet up. Coffee sacks, comfy chairs, the noise and smell of freshly roasted and ground coffee. Good value drinks and cakes plus plenty of coffees to choose from

Fantastic service, friendly staff and a BLT Croissant to die for.

We took our parents that are 88 and 85 on their first trip out (other than to doctors) in 18 mths… only to be refused service as we only wanted a cold drink… elderly father in law, shaky on his legs and suffering general confusion… loads of empty tables and no queues but they couldn’t bring themselves to allow us a drink! Awful service..

Really stunning quaint cafe in a lovely location and relaxing setting. Suitable for anyone. Really fantastic personal customer service and I just absolutely love this place for a cosy afternoon coffee and cake / lunch. Family friendly. If they added comer Wi-fi, I could sit and work here all day ❤️

Fabulous food. Quiche of the day and salad doesn't really describe what we had. instead of a few sprigs of salad leaves we had potato salad, coleslaw, couscous salad, and it was all delicious. Had to go for a wander and come back later for pudding which was equally delicious

Puppy sitting for my sister at her house. Went for lunch Tuesday and Thursday with my cousin and both times we had fabulous food, so fresh and the staff were lovely.

This hidden little gem is the perfect place if you want to shop locally and help local & small businesses, the shops here are unique and are different to most places.

They couldn't have been anymore accommodating, my husband enquired about a table on short notice, he misunderstood that afternoon tea was available. So when I requested it the chef came to speak me to explaining they hadn't had all the ingredients available so hadn't been offering it but was happy to put something together for me...it was incredible and you would never have known anything was missing. Perfection. It wasn't just for us this level of service was offered to others with them catering specifically for a youngster with some toast rather than a small meal. Would definitely recommend, hidden gem. Lovely outdoor courtyard.

Looks OK but from 12 til 2:30 they will only serve lunch and despite having two thirds of tables vacant they wouldn't seat my wife and I for coffee and cake at 2:10 which lost them a few brownie points

Visited Cedar Farm for a specific reason but didn't turn out as we thought. The weather was fine and we therefore decided to make the trip worthwhile by having lunch at The Cafe @ Cedar Farm. What an excellent idea it turned out to be. Only a short wait for a table in the courtyard, the whole family was delighted by the food and service. Must remember to do this more often!

It was so good to visit Cedar Farm again after lockdown,how I've missed that fantastic cappuccino & delicious cakes!

Went today for first time and what a delightful treat. As this wasn’t a planned visit we will go back and explore some of the other areas but cafe was ideal and provided a box for lovely meringue that couldn’t finish, staff friendly and gave a great insight into this upgraded Pig Farm and what it has to offer. We will definitely revisit for the cafe alone though. Have just looked at some reviews and find it hard to understand why people moan about coffee prices surely you must take into account the setting and available facilities, If you want to pay £1 go to a greasy spoon, yet I guess the same folk are happy to spend over the odds on a Costa/bucks and wander the streets sipping from a paper cup?Thank you Cedar Farm.

Enjoyable breakfast and very reasonably priced. Beautiful scenery. Only thing missing from the full English was Black Pudding.

Absolutley lovely little cafe, I adore this place the staff make you feel like family and the food is amazing. My favourite dish is the Peasant Salad, it is delicious. Cant wait until #lockdown2.0 is over as this little gem of a place will be one of the first places I visit.

Visited last week & whilst the food was ‘ok’ as it should be for the rather price we paid, the service certainly lets them down Surly teenagers & snarly middle aged ladies are not a winning combination in our opinion
