We have been going to the Charcoal Grill forever! The best food and lovely owners and family. Our favourites are the chicken shish amazing quality and love the halloumi, salad is always so fresh. Excellent kebabs, nice charcoal taste. I wouldn’t recommend going here in person though as the local youths hang out front and abuse you and the local delivery drivers. They’re just kids so not intimidating just plain rude. Swearing at complete strangers just to get some attention as their parents don’t give them any. Society and Police left to pick up the pieces of minor crime they commit throughout the night. Unpleasant. Owners know it’s a battle not worth fighting mentally so ignore them.

Ordered chicken. Lamb arrived. I don't eat lamb. Ridiculous and not the first time

VOID! Very slow, blamed it on uber then i called up and they gave my food to someone else and made me wait even longer. Also he lied on the phone and said my order was ready

Since 2006 when we moved to Woldingham my family have always used charcoal grill, it is still the best tasting kebab in the whole of Surrey in my opinion. I now live in Eastbourne but everytime I am up in caterham I make sure to get a kebab. I’m ordering one tonight and thought it’s finally time to leave them a review after throughly enjoying their food since I was 6 years old.

How did I just get charged £5 for 4 pots of sauce. Is that how you treat good customers?

I work away and (sadly) have takeaway food 4 nights a week. This is the best kebab shop I have visited in this area - go for the grilled kebabs and lots of salad, and it's not only tasty, but also quite healthy

Chicken Doner banged hard. The owner said he makes it himself. Bit dated inside but who cares really. Tempted to knock 4* for the cash-only policy, but the food was good enough for 5*

Kebab never came in a box, was in paper and was quite greasy, poor salad variety, no cucumber or green chillies. Expensive for what it is. Chips where not nice. Not woth the money!

Glad I stumbled on this place, I’ve been trying to find a decent kebab shop that delivers to me for a while. I have now used this place a couple of times. The kebabs are tasty, hot, and not greasy, the salad crisp and fresh, and the chips are brilliant with a nice crunch. Portion size is generous and so is the price. The guy that delivers is friendly. This place ticks all the boxes. Finally after 3 years I’ve found the go to kebab shop when I fancy one.

Every time I get a Chicken and Lamb Shesh combination. The Lamb is medium rarer. They have papers on the skiers. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend. 👌

This was by far the worst food I’ve ever ordered from a kebab shop! We paid £36 for a load of disgusting meat! I normally order from sofra and what a regret I have ordering from this place. Do not waste your money

Absolutely shocking service. Tried to place an order over the phone and the man just grunted at me. Didn’t say hi this is Caterham kebab, just grunted and said ‘what’. 1 star service and will be avoiding at all costs. Terrible business.

Have orderd regularly for more than sixteen years. Allways fresh delicious, and brilliant staff. I have tried kebabs all over London and consider myself lucky to have the best on my doorstep. Prices may seem expensive to new customers but please understand that this is quality food and the guys do not understand the word small.

Fast service despite everything being cooked fresh. Burgers are not great quality and chips can sometimes be a bit too greasy. Kebabs are great quality and portion sizes are generous.

Just moved into the area and thought I’d try after reading good reviews. Came down about half hour ago, food was very good but the miserable faces from the staff ! Does it not hurt to say hello or maybe even smile at a new customer who potentially could return again ? Just don’t understand it . Would have got 5 stars if someone smiled in there. Tried it for 2nd time. No chillies in salad no tomato just pile of onion and green stuff. Chips absolutely awful like they been fried hours earlier. Very expensive too. Tried third time No chillies ! Place is a joke

Highly recommend the charcoal grill, they may have gone up in price, but the kebabs, infact all there food is beautifully cooked, all I can say is give it a try to have your own view.

Best in the local area, however…. Redhill kebab shop is a country mile ahead.

Lovely guys. Best food. They don’t use that horrible styrofoam packaging which is nice but the paper often rips off and gets in the food where it’s been soggy by the time it gets home. But other than that, really is delicious

I don't know what kind of town wide delusion we got here with these positive reviews but this kebab was NOT it. I have been to many kebab shops, this was disappointing. Had a bad feeling when I could barely smell the meat cooking, low and behold it lacked taste. It was somehow very dry but oily and even the bread was tough. Also where are the peppers? Even the sauces were bland...

This place was shortlisted for an award for best Kebab in the region and it's pretty clear why. Great place.

Just had a mixed kebab £11.30 it was extremely succulent and tasty. It was large enough to share between me and my wife. Also £3.70 cheaper than everywhere in the area. Googled b4 i bought so i know the prices.
