Caster's Restaurant (Alsager) in Cheshire East

Impulse stop, only intended to get a coffee but had breakfast. Lovely food and excellent service. Two lattes, one tea, Casters breakfast and Casters double one which was huge, inc toast was £42.Would return if in the area again. Small blondie sample given with the coffee was absolutely delicious, wish they sold them to take home.

Food- not to same standard as previous visits, under cooked scrambled eggs, lukewarm food and new pancake recipe nowhere near as good as the old, also under cooked and doughy in places. Service- a bit lack lustre and nearly an hour before the food arrived from ordering despite it being quiet. Very different to other weekends in terms of overall experience. Overall felt it was an expensive brunch for the quality of the food and service we received. We like to support local business rather than travel elsewhere so hopefully just a momentary blip.

A warm welcome, nice choice on the Sunday lunch menu. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

We visited Casters after seeing their “breakfast platter” that they are offering through out May. We booked our table online where we were able to select that we were coming for the breakfast platter. The restaurant is located in the centre of Alsager, we parked just across the road in a small car park. We had a very warm welcome from the team and our drinks order was taken immediately. As we had selected the breakfast platter online, it was double checked that’s what we wanted. The breakfast platter was BIG. At £50, I think it’s well worth its value. With two different types of beans, two poached eggs, eggs benedict, eggs royale, two types of bacon and much more, it certainly can be justified as a platter. We opted to sit inside however; there were tables out the front. We really want to visit again for their Sunday roasts as we saw enormous yorkshire puddings stacked up ready for the roasts. Fantastic place, great service.

Booked a table for brunch, food was great as always. We sat right in front of the kitchen area, watching all the wonderful food being prepared. Fantastic to see the place vibrant and busy.

Returned to Casters today after not visiting for a few months and WOW! The Sunday lunch was even better than I remember. Definitely the best around! Delicious 😋

We went to casters on Saturday 13th January for my 60th birthday lunch with my family, there were 9 of us at the table. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff I felt truly looked after. So a big thankyou to all the staff at casters for making my birthday extra special. We will definitely be going back

Sort rib was melting in your mouth with the smoothest of mash potatoes and excellent coffee they apparently just open as a brunch venue so everything is light an full of favour

We came here for husbands birthday, it was throwing it down with rain on our day and we got wet running to the entrance it was lovely to walk into a nice warm restaurant. We were greeted by really friendly staff and taken to our reserved table. We could see the kitchen and food being prepared and could see massive Yorkshire puddings waiting to be served, there was a great choice of meets to have with your roast I had lamb and my husband had beef. For starters my husband had mushrooms and I had Cajun potatoes which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside delish! The mains came and Wow the Yorkshire covered the plate! Underneath was lovely cooked lamb, veg and roast potatoes next time we must remember to order a side of mash!! It was all cooked perfectly!! For dessert I had brownie with cornflake ice cream what a genius idea the ice cream was amazing and went perfectly with the brownie although I was full from the roast there was no way I was leaving any of the dessert and managed all of it!! The bill was so reasonable for a thoroughly lovely 3 course of meal it’s the best meal out we’ve had in a long time

Came in for a quick bite after a friend's recommendation after they rave about the Sunday lunch they recently had, personally I had the set lunch menu which has plenty of choices which would look out of place in a fancey city restaurant, the service was top notch relaxing and professional to match the decor , will have to try this place out on a weekend for the breakfast menu
