What a lovely little cafe. Although some might consider the menu to be a little basic, we found there was something for everyone! The toasties/wraps we ordered were very tasty and all arrived with wonderful side salads containing a variety of fruits too - not something you usually see. Great value for money with attentive and friendly service, we will definitely return when next in Cornwall!

We visited a couple of times and enjoyed lattes, hot chocolate, pecan pie with clotted cream, home-made quiche with salad, etc. All the food and drinks were excellent. All the food is locally sourced and home-made (except for baked beans). There is a very comfortable ambience, and excellent personal service. Can't wait to return for more.

Ordered the lunch special of the day - ham quiche with salad. The quiche was not just burnt, it had been incinerated. When we remonstrated with the owner/manager(?), his response was " yes I knew it was burnt, but no one else has complained." No apology. There is a wide choice of eateries in Wadebridge, so suggest unless you love burnt food and unapologetic service, you seek out the competition to the Craraway Cafe.

We were recommended this cafe by a lovely lady in a charity shop who said Andrew made the most scrummy cakes. We were not disappointed. The upside down apple cake was truly the best apple cake I have ever tasted. We went back the next day to try a lunch there and both of us only had a jacket potato but it was delicious and not just a jacket potato but a super salad with fruit as well. Of course I had to have another piece of cake just to make sure it was as good as I thought. Heavenly. So when in Wadebridge we have always been to the same cafe but today the cafe had no seating so thought we would see what else there was. We stubbled across Carraways Cafe down the shopping arcade by the Air Ambulance Shop and browsed the menu. We went inside and sat down and were warmly greeted by the waitress who took out order. I ordered the Bacon Bree Cranberry Wholemeal Toastie and my guest had Bacon Jacket Potato. We also ordered pot of tea and strawberry milkshake. My guest asked the waiter for water and he asked if we wanted one each, he got it straight away. The music in the background was very relaxing and the cafe was in a peaceful area - not too close to the busy roads. The drinks came first and I was very impressed with the milkshake it tasted fresh and even had the little seeded bits you have on strawberries - not like the powdered milkshakes you can get that don’t taste like strawberries. The food arrived about 5 minutes after, my guests jacket had lots of bacon and a lovely salad on the side. My toastie came and was well filled. My guest loved the salad and said the bacon was delicious and thick. My toastie was fantastic and too came with a salad. The service and food were fabulous and been local I will definitely be going back again with guests.Well worth a visit .

We had a jacket potato with a very generous portion of topping. I am unable to eat tomato, onion or pepper and ask for this not to be included with the side salad, the owner asked if I would like fruit instead. The presentation was lovely and the variety, including watermelon, quite exotic. How refreshing to be offered an alternative, shows real interest in the customer. The only criticism would be to provide additional shading, parasols etc as it was a baking hot day and only two tables were in the shade, fortunately we did manage to move to a cooler spot half way through the meal when a shaded spot became free.

The cream tea came with one fruit and one plain scone so had to share with my husband, lashing of clotted cream and a lovely pot of tea. We stumbled across Caraways Cafe whilst on a day out in Wadebridge. It looks unassuming from the street and the menu is similar to many cafes you would find around England (sandwiches, bagels, jacket potatoes, soup, salad etc.). The difference here is the care taken over the quality and preparation of food. We ordered sandwiches and bagels, just expecting a quick snack, each came with a delicious, fresh side salad with cut pineapple, peach, watermelon and oranges (I think you can tell a lot about a place by the care they take over a side salad!). The portions were really generous, the food very tasty and the service friendly and swift. We were really impressed, the perfect place for a quick lunch.

My husband and I visited for breakfast a couple of days ago, we both had toasties. The food was great and it was great value. The two guys behind the counter were so friendly and polite and the place had a really nice vibe, with some jazz playing quietly in the background and some amazing stuff on the walls to look at.

Found this in a small side street. Excellent coffee and wide selection of cold drinks. Appetising sandwiches and homemade cakes. Owners very considerate and place is clearly a favourite with locals. Excellent value for money and would definitely go again.

We have visited a few times. Outstanding cake and soup and owner so friendly. A bit of a find in an unlikely looking shopping precinct.

I'm so happy I found this little place. Tucked away from the main street in a sunny courtyard, I was welcomed as I came in through the door. Many of the locals (greeted often by name) asked for coffee and chowder, so I thought I'd give it a go and wasn't disappointed. Great, fresh coffee and the vegetable and cheese chowder was a bowl of wholesome loveliness. I rarely easy alone but the welcoming, friendly atmosphere was delightful. There's also a subtle, American feel to the place but it's still very Cornish. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Lunchtime stop here, after cycling part of the camel trail from Padstow. Plenty of choice, friendly service and we even stayed for a dessert which was definitely worth it! I would recommend the lemon cake all day long, great little cafe!

Menu choice, and service very good, we visited on a couple of occasions and were very happy with the food and service, however on our second visit we decided to sit in doors, only complaint was the the choice and volume of the background music,
