Despite the sign outside saying the last order for food from the kitchen was 1.45pm, we were told at 1.32pm that the kitchen was closed and no longer serving food. This was very disappointing and surely not the way to run a business. This was our first visit and probably the last.

Breakfast visit with my husband, who had been a number of times before and rated it highly. Lovely little village farm cafe with a cute outside seating area. We both had the large cooked breakfasts, containing the usual products and black pudding. Breakfasts came with sour dough toast. I personally prefer thicker cut sourdough, this was cut so thin it was like eating crackers!!!!! Breakfasts were lovely, although on the expensive side. We also came away with sausage rolls and they were lovely! Thick sausage meat and plenty of pastry. I was disappointed on this visit they had none of the famous cruffins which my husband has brought home on a few occasions ☹️ All in all definitely worth a visit 🙂

A hidden gem of a coffee shop, tucked away in Childrey village & serving drinks, cakes & brunch/lunch dishes in a beautiful location. The interior of the barn has several large tables (some with bench seating, which can be shared if needed) & there is also plenty of seating outside in the spacious, pretty garden area. We visited on a sunny Sunday morning & it was busy & clearly popular with local community. However, service was quick & we were impressed with the coffee & real chocolate flakes on top of the cappuccino. Good quality coffee in a lovely setting.

Have been here 3 times recently. Excellent every time. Warm friendly service & the best brunch menu in the area. It’s in a barn & has outdoor seating too so popular with cyclists, walkers & last time there were even horses tethered while owners sat outside for lunch. We’ll be back again for brunch this Sunday too.

Been a few times now and consistently good food and friendly service. Characterful building and garden. Only criticism is the food is served on cold plates and things like eggs royale are not that hot to start with because of the way they are prepared.

Served straight away and had a delicious Eggs Royale and my friend a juicy BLT - which she claimed was very good. Sat outside in a very pleasant garden. A lovely setting, lovely people. Will go again.

What an amazing find. Local cafe/coffee shop with lots of character, amazing food and fantastic staff. Prices are reasonable and selection is great. Added bonus they sell fresh homemade bread, cakes, savouries, eggs, ready meals and meat. A muse place to visit

Good to see the Fox back open, New manager/Chef is very welcoming. Food was really good, tasty hot and large portions. We had burgers and steak. Pub is kept much cleaner than previously, tables wipes and cleared quickly. We'll be back. We could see more staff were required before they really market the place again. It would benefit from a few smaller tables in the restaurant area.

Lovely food and excellent service as usual. Great place for an evening meal with friends.

I went today to purchase a coffee which I did. My purchase was based on the fact that they would be closed a 9 pm as advertised on Google Places(Map). As I was sitting a gentleman I approached me telling me that they are closing in 10mins that was at 19:45pm. The gentleman didn't provide an explanation or neither apologises for the inconvenience caused. Avoid when you'are planning to sit down relying on their opening times.

Amazing time at Pablo’s, we went after the Abingdon fire works and they happily greeted us even tho they where closing the kitchen 3 minutes when we got that, that was on us, my partner had I believe the bacon burger and ginger beer. I had the butter chicken with a Oreo milkshake it was lovely the only downside was the onion rings being undercooked but again our fault coming three minutes before the kitchen closed. Amazing service left a tip :)

The drive through is quite good, never really have to queue for long. The helpfulness of the staff is a bit hit and miss though. There's a lad who works there some evenings, who is the proverbial chocolate teapot.
