Camberwell Tandoori in Southwark

Order was 40 minutes late. Driver did not wish to come to my flat to deliver the food. Driver was arguing and rude. Curry box was barely filled. It was basically halfway empty. Curry had very few chicken pieces. Food arrived cold. Tasted average. Horrible experience!

My only real issue is ever ‘Camberwell Tabdoori or New Dewanium?’ Tonight it was Camberwell Tandoori and these guys never ever ever disappoint!

Second time ordering from here. Delicious food, this place needs a higher rating. Would recommend the korma with tika chicken, creamy with a very small kick. Very nice

All the dishes we received were delicious, very well flavoured, and not the run-of-the-mill Indian menu. And although it took a little longer to arrive than expected, they did send me a message and were genuinely apologetic - as was their delivery driver. Excellent service. This was the first order I placed with Camberwell Tandoori, and I shall definitely be returning to them again!

Very bland- not spicy at all. The meat was tough and chewy. The nan had a strange synthetic sweet taste

The poppadoms were in the paper bag for too long and tasted disgusting, so were not eaten. The naan wasn't cooked properly, so wasn't eaten. The rice, chicken korma, potatoes and chicken side dish were cold, I don't own a microwave, so had to create more mess to reheat on hob and in oven. I live with a disability and at home alone with 2 children while my husband is away. The whole point of the takeaway was so I could rest. This obviously wasn't the case. The restaurant was well aware my food was running late because I called them to complain about them updating the app to say my food had arrived when it hadn't. And have only been offered a partial refund from Just Eat. Not a happy customer.

Ordered 2 naans and 4 poppodoms, took over 1 hour and naan was cold

This is probably the worst curry we have ever had. Especially one dish over cooked Chicken another dish under cooked chicken.

The mango ice cream was amazing! The food was yum. I already miss it xx

Really disappointing experience with my 1st time ordering from this takeaway. The food was over an hour late and when i called he told me the driver is only 2 minutes away, and that took more than 15-20 minutes. When I requested money back, they rejected that. Never wasting my money here again!

The food was really poor. Ordered chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and garlic naan and only the masala was edible. Won't be ordering from here again

Took ages to get a delivery driver over 40 mins. The food was disgusting and very oily and watery. 16 pound down the drain. Won’t be ordering from here ever again. Will only getting one start as the gentleman was very nice to me on the phone.

I called the restaurant and they confirmed that Häagen -Dazs Ice Cream (500ml), Baileys was discontinued a long time ago and that I would get a refund. Please remove it from their menu

The lamb meat was very tough and cannot distinguish between the taste of lamb curry and lamb Rogan Josh. A bit disappointing.

It was not the drivers fault, it was 40 minutes late due to heavy traffic on the roads.

Food was good. Lamb was soft. Flavours were good. Bhuna was different but also good. Chicken was soft no dry. Overall satisfied. Would definitely order again.

Everything outstanding except I gave a “great” star rating for the food. Only because disappointingly both papadums were soft and not crispy. Couldn’t eat them! The rest of the food was outstanding as always.

Not happy food came pretty much cold and almost 30 minutes longer then it estimated to had to call the restaurant multiple times.

It was arful and barely warm. No flavour fatty meat, disgusting paneer cheese and only 3 bits, whole thing was horrible, the worst Indian I've ever had.

I ordered an Indian via their official website however upon calling they could not find the order. The manager quickly wrote down my order and even delivered to my door since I was 2 minutes walk away. Delicious food and would certainly order again. Thank you for fantastic service

It’s a shame I did ask for extra curry sauce because the sauce portion they give in the curry is very small I Virtually was eating a dry curry not nice at all it went in the bin plus I did state I would pay for the extra sauce but no joy

Orderee Chicken and lamb biryani. Wasnt filled to the top and chicken biryani wasn't the same portion as lamb biryani. Too much meat in both, we were short of rice, not a good balance of meat and rice.m, we eating the meat on its own with the veg sauce. Maybe they didn't bother boiling extra rice and just dumped more meat. Food was tasty but not worth it.

Was ok I guess. But paying an extra 65 pence for ‘mint sauce’ when I’m 90% sure it was just creme de menthe mixed with yoghurt, was a bit insulting.

My order was late, tried to call the restaurant but they marked my order as delivered 45 minutes before i received it so I couldn’t place a complaint about it, contacted the just eat team they weren’t able to refund or credit my account for it therefore I’m deleting this just eat app and i’ll never order from this restaurant again.

Food took 2 hours from order to arrive. When it arrived the food waa nice, but it wasn't even warm, which is the reason for the mark down.

My food was late above 45 minutes and it was food for my guest. All food is cold. Your delivery guy was telling me it’s better all guest left, so I can eat them by myself. Very unprofessional and disappointing, seriously bad. I’m disposing food , not eatable . Refund required!!

Tasty food, but only lukewarm by the time it arrived. At 30 minutes after the promised delivery time I called the restaurant and they just said it wouldn't be long (it was another 10 minutes), didn't offer a discount or anything. The driver just dumped the food bag on my doorstep and was nowhere in sight by the time I got there.

Food was good, delivered on time with good friendly service, the price was fair. I am really happy with the service.

the food was late by half an hour. the restaurant didnt even bother to pick up the phone when i tried calling 3 times for an update. they also marked the delivery as delivered even though they didnt. and to top it all off the food was cold as well. very upset as i wasnt informed about a delay otherwise i wouldve understood the situation. will not order from here again unfortunately

I am a requesting a refund because not only did my delivery arrive late, the state it was in was terrible and was left by the chute of the bin with all food spilt inside with an additional lidl's bag. It was disgusting and unappealing, it looked like trash and the delivery driver didn't even wait for to at least reach the food before leaving. I couldn't eat the food and ended up ordering off of uber eats because of this. I want an immediate refund ASAP because this was highly unprofessional of the restaurant and such terrible service. Please respond to me via email as soon as possible about what will be done about this.

Not only did my food arrive late (nearly 1 hour late!) but it was not hot enough despite being promised it would arrive hot. Food was okay but not enough for me to order from here again. They did include a free drink for the delay however.

I've canceled the order after 1 hour delay. If you are not able to deliver orders on time stop accepting them.

They have the worst customer service and delivery. I placed an order and after 1 hour, being 5 minutes late they called me and telling me that they can't send the food now because my house is too far from their restaurant, and if i want the delivery now then i have to pay the driver for the delivery, although, they did not have any delivery charge on Just Eat. And when i called the customer service, they just said Sorry. People should avoid ordering from this restaurant.

The food did not arrive for an hour but when called the restaurant the guy told me that they cant deliver, as it was too far. Why do you accept order if you cant deliver?? Very disappointing, never going to order from this restaurant.

Food was just ok, I ordered cans of diet coke, what was delivered was the cheaper foreign version coke light, which tastes vile, please do not advertise diet coke when that is not what you are selling, false advertising!
