We visit this cafe regularly. Today we were served by Leanne, she was a very positive professional, warm and lovely person with excellent communication skills and patience to explain everything thoroughly with details. She made us fantastic coffees. We’re looking to seeing her again. Very happy customers.

I like caffe Nero ,the only problem is they always run out of my favourite pastry,buck up on your stock control

Head upstairs for comfy chairs and a great view. One of my favourite places to take a book and have a brew.

Friendly staff and nice and atmosphere

They supoused to open at 6.30 am everyday and was 07.40 when i come to pick up an order and they've said they are not open yet, you should switch the tablets off on deliveroo, uber eats and just eat in the moment that you still not open 1 hour after your opening times and not to say to the driver that you are not open and you cant make the food, this is customers ordering from your store and you failed to inform the delivery partners and this is resulting in loss of customers, unacesarry trip done by the delivery drivers and not getting paid... Resolve your issues well before the opening times at 6.30 , not one hour after you supoused to be open you still not open.... What kind of store you are running here? Why you are on delivery if you are not able to do the orders that the customers are placing...

Lovely coffee with pleasant surroundings

It was agonizingly slow. I could see one guy was training but there was a long queue and in 20 minutes there were around 3 drinks served. It would put me off returning to this branch and probably other branches in future. All that said, the lemon meringue cheese cake was gorgeous

Great location, just popped in for coffee at this visit which was very good indeed.

My favourite Caffè Nero. Probably their best site in the UK. Great views of Harrogate from upstairs windows. Lowered rating as this place needs sorting out now.

This place is disgustingly filthy, there are dog hairs everywhere, i can't stand coffee shops that allow dogs in them where food and drink is being served but that's just my opinion, it isn't kept clean or hygienic and they should review their policies on animals being allowed into places like, not good. 🤨👎

Upstairs is good and quiet Constant queue for service There's iced water available at the stand for sugar and milk an lots of glasses There is a combined toilet the back of the ground floor The seating available includes assorted tables and chairs and booths Overall a good experience

Always a queue. It took 20 minutes to get served. 26 minutes to get my coffee from entering. I don't want to spend my lunchbreak doing this.

Comfortable surroundings and nice views from the windows

Very dirty and tired looking ! I went to go to the toilet but in the corridor where the toilet was it was very dirty. Staff are fine but definitely the worst cafe Nero I’ve been in. Needs totally refurbished and deep cleansed !!!

Ordered on app 4.36pm 2 hours later still waiting. Just said order been prepared. Shop shut at 6.30 still saying it’s going to be delivered. 7.10 pm Uber finally refunded my money. Won’t use again. 2 disappointed kids waiting that long

Ordered through the app for collection, my drink was ready almost as soon as I'd walked through the door, regardless of there being only one Barista on what seemed to be a busier morning with a queue reaching the door, and it looked like nobody was waiting long at all. Employee always seems to enjoy what she does, and it shows! The coffee was great too!

Lovely coffee and atmosphere, however the female server was rude and wanted to give my wife a lesson on what a reusable cup was. All we were doing was trying to use a cafe Nero branded cup for re use. Totally unnecessary and ruined the experience. Shame as we are regulars to Cafe Nero, we wouldn’t come back here again though if this particular lady was serving. We use the same cups in all Cafe Nero cafes.

Genuinely surprised at the poor customer service today. I was sat enjoying a quiet coffee with my family when a barista came over and shouted at us for being in his way. There was about 4 1/2 foot between our seats and the staff only door (plenty of other staff had been coming and going through the door with no problems), but he started shouting that he needed at least 5 feet of space to be able to work. He then made us get up and, even after we stood up, he was having a go at us for putting our children's bags on the floor next to our seats, tucked away in the corner of the room. He's clearly got some serious issues and I hope that he manages to find a happier place in his life but shouting at customers for no reason is not ok. Coffee and ambience was ok until his outburst.

Very busy and vibrant place. Average prices. Bit disappointed as cutlery not clean so had to ask for replacement.

Tasty food but the Chai Latte tasted like only milk.

I probably spend to much money here, will grab a coffee most mornings, really relaxed and cozy, better than other Nero venues I've tried. Great staff.

I love a Caffé Nero haul where always possible and one of the most awesome UK coffee joints I've visited. Cute, quaint and homey laid back joint with a great vibe and very welcoming cosy seats with a great drinks menu and phenomenal plant based non-dairy milk alternatives at great fare. Dont forget your Nero rewards stamps! Earn an extra stamp by saving our beautiful planet and bringing your own reusable thermos. I reached the peak of ten and can't wait to redeem my next tasty treat! The single origin Brazil Espresso is a knockout and 100% worth the upgrade for sure. I love how Caffé Nero is a low fuss and down to earth coffee joint and never charges extra for non dairy milk options and has fantastic yummy vegan pastries! This location is definitely the preferred branch around Harrogate and has an extremely aesthetically pleasing old School, relaxed coffee joint vibe.

Due to 'staff shortages' all drinks served in takeaway cups! At these prices! No cash taken, only card payments! And I asked for a blueberry muffin and was given a lemon drizzle one! It was very moist and tasty though. Lattes were tasty too, but should be served in crockery if sitting in. This isn't a motorway service station, it's Harrogate. Plenty of seating available, and relatively clean.

Possibly the worst cafe I have ever been to.. Absolutely filthy, coffee served in a paper cup because they didn't have a clean cup, glasses filthy, staff with dirty nails.. Tea spoon given with our soup... A dreadful experience!!!

We had been there in Christmas market. Very busy and not well stuffed. Hence the tables were not cleaned. Otherwise good food and good coffee. We really like to The special coffee or mocha served for Christmas.

despite the longer waiting time than usually used to in a cafe, the gents that were working Sunday evening (11/12/22) could not have been more helpful and lovely. the till froze during the transaction and instead of holding everything up he ensured we were enjoying our food and drinks whilst waiting for the till to reboot. the pressure these guys were in was understandably difficult for them but props to the two of them for still being upbeat and serving every customer to the best of their ability with what they had available to them. thanks guys.

Slow service and NO normal cups available. We ended up being served in take-out cups. The girl clearing tables had no go about her at all. Took 20 mins to get seen to at the counter.

Good coffee for take away. I wouldn't order food or eat/drink in though as it isn't very clean. the food counters are particularly grubby.

Hot food was completely cold. Staff took it to reheat. Waited 20 mins by which time I'd finished my coffee and was getting ready to leave. Asked for a refund.

Always was our favourite morning stop unfortunately a lack of staff has left it looking slightly shabby. Signs are up apologising but after clearing & cleaning our table 5 consecutive early mornings we have come across a new 'happy' place in Harrogate

The tea and coffee we ordered was fine, the cafe was not! Cluttered, dirty tables & a grubby floor - most of the empty tables still had cups/saucers/trays on them and no attempt to clear or wipe down by the 2 members of "trainee barista" staff. To be fair to them it was quite busy and no manager in sight but as a paying customer this is not acceptable. The toilets were of the same standard in fact the whole place appeared to require a deep clean. So disappointing in a town like Harrogate I won't be returning :(

Walked in , plenty of empty seats. Tables however had not been cleared. Place looked shabby and not clean. St. Bernard? Taking up half the window. My wife and I didn't stay went elsewhere.

Went in, saw the state of the floor which was strewn with crumbs and sticky and disgusting. Walked straight back out. Used to be so different.

If you are going to display the toilet cleaning schedule then showing that it hasn't been cleaned for two days is brave if somewhat foolhardy, but then just looking at the floor told you the truth. Maybe a few lessons in restaurant management and general cleanliness wouldn't go amiss, and it was only 11am so no excuses.

As a regular visitor to this store I’m staggered at how bad its become over recent months. Apart from the coffee which is good, there’s little to commend it for. The issue that really bugs me is the ‘miserable’ staff. With the exception of one or two, they really don’t look as if they want to be there and clearly resent customers interfering with either their chats or looking at their phones. Nero, you need to be better than this and you also need to respond to complaints from customers as mine remain unanswered from 2 months ago! Poor.

The original intention was to experience Betty's but the long queue deterred us so we went to Caffè Nero across the road instead. The coffee was very good and we enjoyed a hot snack.

The main reason we came here is that they are open till after 5pm. The two members of staff making coffees were both trainees and didn't seem to know what they were doing and weren't being supervised. They were very slow as well. In the end we got our drinks and they were ok.

Called here for morning coffee after travelling to Harrogate on the bus. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Excellent strong coffee as always and a lovely fresh Danish pastry. Service good by a young trainee barista and excellent value. Cafe nice and clean as was the toilet.

Staff are slow 25 mins to make 2 coffee's, no care in the world. Avoid using, the plenty of other local coffee shops!

The service can be rather slow, so be prepared for a long queue at peak times, but for the resulting relaxing time it’s worth it. Been there a few times now and the coffee and service is shocking. Will not be returning, such a shame as stunning location.

Dirty isn't really strong enough to describe the state of this cafe!!! It's filthy in need of a deep clean and staff that engage with the paying public. I would advise anyone in need of a coffee to find somewhere else. I didn't order coffee after seeing the state of the place. See photo for filth on sofa!!

Dirty. Tables left with dirty cups for ages. And 3 wet, smelly big dogs. Never again.

Liam is a new Barista member and he is absolutely brilliant! I am a regular customer and can confirm Liam is very efficient yet really polite, cheerful and friendly - a real find for Caffe Nero!!It is often very busy and the queues can take a long time to reduce however when Liam is serving you're never waiting very long!

Good café latte every time, service quite slow

Only popped in to grab a takeaway coffee and some sweet treats. Staff were great at changing the drink to cater to my intolerances without any complaints (which I usually face from other cafes). The lady who served us was friendly and talkative and the food and drinks were just as we wanted.

Can't beat Caffe Nero wherever I go...

I’m a regular at Neros and use wherever I am in the country. Harrogate is my home town and I have used Cambridge Crescent for a while now. However, recently it looks and feels unclean. The wooden floors are particularly dirty. In addition, since dogs are allowed in Nero, there is often a smell of wet dog in the coffee shop. Not the most favourable conditions to enjoy a morning coffee. Again, perhaps better and regular cleaning would help here. Caffè Nero please get this place back up to scratch.

This is a very well positioned Cafe Nero with good staff. Great variety of seating and pleasant views of Harrogate. I would add that cues can be disconcerting during busy periods and recommend click and collect.

Was a nice little barista, queueing to get served, not too long a wait, could do with a pot wash on, to keep on top of used pots and tables
