Caffѐ Nero in Crawley

We had breakfast hear while we waited for our plane. We had croissants with cheese and ham and they where very tasty. We also had a cup of coffee and a tea. It was a nice place to sit and chill while we waited and it was nice seeing the people walking round the airport.

I used to be a regular here pre covid and staff were efficient and friendly, now there are long queues with slow service and staff that do not care about customer service run by amateurs

Called in quickly for a takeaway nightcap. Really nice server and the best hot chocolate I've had. Would definitely come again.

In Inghilterra ci sono molti "Caffè Nero", il caffè, come il cappuccino e le delizie che offrono non sono male, per noi Italiani è difficile fare un paragone con i nostri Bar, ma nel complesso devo dire che non è niente male. Personale gentile, diversi Italiani. Alcuni locali sono aperti 24 ore su 24. Molto comodo!

I used to spend a lot of time at the cafe, visiting on many occasions. I thought their coffee was great - quite strong and the people working there were friendly. There's plenty of space for luggage and comfy sofas and quiet piped jazz music. It's almost beside the upper floor departure barriers and there are screen showing which planes are leaving. They also have some food, including muffins and pastries. The only downside is that there's often a queue at the till and loads of passengers walk past the cafe all the time.

I come here quite a lot as I do a lot of travelling for work, the coffee is hit and miss.. sometimes my latte can be too strong and sometimes it can be way too weak and I have previously gone up to the counter to get a new one. Staff are very friendly and engaging though, even though the problems I’ve had in the past I will still come here when I’m passing.

We stayed overnight at the Bloc Hotel situated just across the hall so we chose this Cafe to have our morning coffee before going to the departure loungevfor our flight. The service was fast and efficient and the coffee very good. We will return.

After coming off my flight and clearing immigration I headed out to get a cappuccino. The service was fast and pleasant. The cappuccino was good

This is our café of choice to sit and have a coffee or light snack while waiting on our train out of the airport. It’s on the upper level like the other eateries and it’s convenient being just steps to the elevator to take our luggage down to the lower concourse and train station. This café is always busy and finding a seat is a matter of luck really. But we like that there’s space for cases which some of the other establishments lack. Nothing special here - just a simple café where you can grab a hot drink and something light to eat from the shelf or fridge.

Being a chain, there is not too much more to say than the chain is decent is and this location was just as good as their others.

Always a chilled place to go when at the airport , good coffee and cakes , find a comfy chair and chill and look forward to your holiday

Italian chain. Coffee, brioches, snacks. Good taste. The best place to be before going to Turkey. Nice design.

Just needed a quick coffee whilst we waited for the train at Gatwick, the service was swift but the coffee was poor, not for me this one

Caffe Nero is usually an excellent chain. The coffee is consistently good and the staff are pleasant. The coffee was still good in the airport, although quite cool - maybe they're worried about litigation from scalded clients? The atmosphere was dreadful, but that's what you get at airports - crowded, noisy, uncleared tables and not enough seats.

Here you can get a nice flat white at a reasonable price, but there are better places after security to get a drink.

Arrived at the south terminal by train and found this Caffè Nero prior to departures. It's a quieter area of the airport and offers some comfy leather armchairs. The Latte was very good. Recommended to avoid the hustle and bustle once through security.

It's just before check in area so if you have time to kill before your flight it's convenient. Cappuccino good. I always ask for 1 shot as caffe Nero is always strong

Having just returned from two weeks in Italy and spoiled by good Italian coffee, Cafe Nero was a welcome surprise at Gatwick airport. Their Expresso coffees are excellent and reminiscent of Italy.

We arrived at Gatwick well before I flight was due - I need to have dairy free ( coeliac- needing gluten & dairy free) luckily the staff are knowledgeable and double checked the ingredients on the chocolate powder sprinkled on the top of the coffee .

Arrived at Gatwick South a bit too early to check our bags in, so settled on Cafe Nero for a coffee & pass some time.

A nice range of wraps and sandwiches as well, of course, as coffees. It is a good alternative to the Hilton itself.

Lots of choice buy Nero always is wuick and good. It’s costs a tad more than costa but it’s worth it. App works well too to pay and collect points.

Sono stato in diversi shop della catena Caffè Nero, un po' come il grosso dei miei connazionali non ne sono un gran fan, anche se lo preferisco a buona parte dei suoi "diretti concorrenti". L'ultima volta ho preso un caffè e un dolce in aeroporto, da solo mentre aspettavo che passasse la nottata che si preannunciava davvero lunga al terminal...devo dire che, complice la stanchezza e il bisogno di caffè, stavolta non è stato tanto male...

Good coffee options here and the prices reflect airport prices. Tables and seating available. Service is good. At the time of our visit some tables were full of rubbish and dirty cups.

This is our café of choice upon arrival into Gatwick while awaiting our train. It’s always convenient for a sit down and our first proper cup of real coffee upon arrival. We’ve patronized here a few times now and each time it has always been busy. No doubt it caters to guests of Bloc hotel located obliquely opposite.

In transito in aeroporto mi sono fermato per concedermi un momento di relax e prendere un caffè. Di già conosco la compagnia Caffè Nero. Il personale è gentile e cortese mentre il servizio è veloce. Il Caffè discreto.

I was not in any hurry. It was late and there was one member of staff and one other customer in front of me in the queue. The two spent a good few minutes talking while I waited. It was just rude. The coffee was good, shame about the poor customer service.

Típica cafetería de aeropuerto, todo precocinado. Evidentemente no hay alternativas y si quieres tomar algo es una correcta opción. Atención de los empleados mejorable y precio exagerado.

Gatwick no tiene un montón de opciones antes de la seguridad, así que debes tomar lo que puedes conseguir. Mientras que el café y bocadillos están muy bien, son un poco caros. Caffe Nero es mi elección favorita de café en Londres. Me pareció que el servicio en la sucursal de la terminal norte a ser muy rápido. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaría para turistas y viajeros de negocios. Su café es realmente delicioso y el personal fue muy rápido y atento.

Yo estaba en Gatwick la semana pasada con mi hija y dos nietos bebé que estaban volviendo a Chipre después de una visita. Mi hijo menor nieto estaba cansado, dos años irritable y murmurar una clase. Esperé con este nieto mientras mi hija ordenados nuestros cafés. Mi hija fue atacado por otro cliente verbalmente también en espera en la cola ofreciendo su opinión (no deseado) en mis hijas habilidades de crianza. Mi hija se volvió bastante desgastadas. He sugerido al personal que debería haber pedido este cliente ya sea para estar tranquilo o salir. Su respuesta fue que "no son de seguridad. Lo siento, eso no es lo suficientemente buena, uno no debe esperar a ser maltratados verbalmente y enfadada y no poder hacer nada o esperar asistencia del personal.

Visitamos Caffe Nero para el desayuno después de pasar la noche en Bloque hotel Gatwick, tenía un gran café de desayuno era muy bueno y los pasteles muy sabrosa, a hacer sin pensarlo dos veces.

Pero en realidad ... Lejos de agradable. Un servicio pobre, café por debajo de la media, sin sabor tartas, desgastados sofás. He probado este café unas cuantas veces, y cada vez me arrepentí. Parece muy agradable cuando vas andando, pero la lección importante es seguir caminando.

Usé el cupón de descuento de alojarse en el hotel erigido en Gatwick y nos fuimos directamente a Caffe Nero en la mañana para el desayuno, ya que está enfrente. Bonito apartamento White (fuerte) y he comido que era perfecta. Empiece bien el día!

Si sabes Caffe Nero, entonces sabes lo que te vas a encontrar. Un buen café y excelentes pasteles de pasteles. Bien situado en el corazón de South Terminal.

Nero belongs to a coffee chain, as we all know, but the peculiarity of the Nero cafe, it is that, coffee is very strong there.For coffee lovers is perfect.Nero cafe is situated at the top part upstairs of the south terminal landside, that means before departures.Staff is good and friendly as well as very attentive.I think coffee there is over priced, as it can be in Costa or Starbucks. Just water with coffee it is nearly £3... golie... but that is everywhere... it would be good if there was a price war on coffees.I hope that helpsDanXX

I am already a fan of Nero. I was delighted to find this just outside my hotel. I had Mocha and a sandwich on my arrival and orange juice, a breakfast muffin and espresso in the morning. All really good and fresh and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Had breakfast at Nero's as we were staying in the near by Bloc Hotel. Their porridge and honey is made from oats and milk. A great start to a long travelling day.

Slow queue despite it not being busy. Totally disengaged member of staff at my till point. Sullen and zero personality. Tables littered with dirty cups and mess. I would have walked and not bothered if I didn't have luggage. I used to love this brand so today was a real disappointment. No up sell or loyalty card offered.

Coffee fine. Plenty of empty seats. But when was the last time this place was cleaned? Properly? The dust on the dado rail suggests sometime ago. Fortunately we had eaten our food before noticing ..

All the staff were very pleasant to our toddler but the vouchers from the BLOC Hotel were no good as the menu selection was limited, so we ended up paying for the food ourselves

Conveniently located just before departures a great place for a meeting or to say goodbye to friends, family and loved ones!

I visited here for a coffee and was surprised how nice it was and how much I enjoyed it. Reasonably priced also.

Good friendly staff willing to customize your drinks no mater what. Slightly stronger coffee than costa as it offers a double shot but you can ask for one shot if you want.

The coffee and tea is all right and the food is good but my God, how shabby this place is. There were some comfortable seats, meant to give it a more relaxed impression but the chairs really were to dirty to sit on. With holes in it. Also the staff does not often enough removes used trays from the tables, nor do they clean the tables often enough.

There are few places to choose from to get a coffee before you go through security but there is no need to emphasise the captive audience effect. When I visited, every table had dirty cups and trays of empty packaging which had obviously been there a while as previous customers had begun to pile trays on chairs to make room. The staff were more interested in social media and made us feel like an inconvenience when we placed our order. Visited 7th July 19:20

I can always rely on Caffe Nero for a lovely frothy Soya, decaffinated, cappuccino. Their oat and raisin cookies are delicious too.

The cafe Nero is known for few years, so there is no doubt about good coffee and always something nice to accompany it. But why would you make such a huge sitting area of you don't have enough staff? Long queue to be served and then the rubbish on the table everywhere - so even if there is loads of table you basically have to clean it yourself otherwise there is no space to sit and enjoy the goodies.

Estávamos com pouco tempo para tomar café e fomos surpreendidos pela agilidade do lugar! A fila era grande, mas andava muito rápido porque um atendente recolhia os pedidos e preparava, então no final da fila era só pagar e pegar a bebida com o acompanhamento prontos! Então descobri que a fila continuava grande porque o café é muito bom e o lugar é muito procurado!

There was flies all over the walls where we were sitting, flies on the muffins and flies hovering around in general.. I never would of thought an airport can contain so many flies. I was so upset because I actually visit caffe nero on a daily at where I live and this actually brings down the standards of not just caffe Nero but the whole airport itself, I just don't know what else to say.

Три большие чашки вкуснейшего каппучино, чашка горячего густого шоколада для дочери, пара маффинов (реально огромные и, хотя и не такие вкусные, как в США, но вполне), круассан и даниш обошлись нам в 9 фунтов. Считаю, что очень доступная цена для Лондона, аэропорта и, в сравнении с ценой за завтрак в отелях рядом.

We noticed on several visits at different times, the constant queues, including airport staff, and this gives a good clue that this is indeed the best choice in Gatwick airport for breakfast, a snack or simply a drink. There is enough staff on hand to keep the waiting to a minimum, they are friendly and keep the place clean. The coffee is very good, and there is a good range of sandwiches, paninis, even bircher muesli. It is located on the first floor of the South Terminal.
