A great spot for a tasty lunch. Very good value for money, the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Accommodating to requests, and friendly people. I also enjoyed the music! Good place to people watch when you sit at the window. They had info up about a ramen night, which I imagine would be equally as enjoyable if we were in the area. Thank you!

A cafe with an all-day breakfast menu is always going to tick boxes, but my partner and I were both really impressed with the friendly service and quality of the food. The ramen here really is worth checking out!

We are on holiday in Cornwall for the week, and Falmouth is one of our favourite places to visit, so we looked for somewhere to eat and stumbled across Cafe Strand, we was greeted when we walked in by a lovely man, we took our menus and sat down. The man walked passed with food and said ill be with you in a minute, which give us time to decide what we was having. You can adapt your fillings in toasties and they accommodate, its very much appreciated as both of them are fussy eaters. So my son and OH had cheese and bacon toasties and a portion of chips and i had the hot chicken,lettuce and mayo bap, The food was absolutly superb, and the prices were excellent.We will definatly return.

Cornish breakfast outstanding! All ingredients locally sourced and you could tell! Sausages were delicious. Vegetarian breakfast equally as good and filling. Excellent service from friendly welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

Arrived just after 9:30am and ordered 4 full breakfasts. The cafe is understated from the outside but beautifully modern bright and airy on the inside. It is very clean and they play music in the background. Food was delivered by the chefs after not much waiting. The standard was excellent, everything cooked to perfection with nice coffee and bread to accompany. The staff were very friendly and I would highly recommend.

Doesn't look much but offers a genuinely warm and friendly service and best of all great food! Served promptly and at the right temperature, unusual these days! Also, a great cup of coffee. Excellent value. Why go elsewhere?!

After going to DeWynns that has gone down hill. Then going to the Pier where we stood to 10 minutes waited to be seated and totally ignored by the staff there, we crossed the road to the Strand.Greated by a happy cheerful greeting by the waitress. We ordered within 10 minutes, coffee is very good, the breakfast was well cooked with lovely meaty sausages. We have been back twice now, so this is are now go to cafe when we are in Falmouth.

I’ve been going to Cafe strand for years . The guys are passionate about there food and take pride in cooking with good quality ingredients. Waiting staff always friendly .We go for breakfast and the team will always cater for any menu changes .It’s a great cafe to visit and I have no idea why a previous customer should rate at one star , it makes no sense when we’ve always had great food over many years .If you visit Falmouth , its well worth going for nice food at reasonable prices .

Returned to Falmouth again this year, and back to the Strand cafe. What another great breakfast, well cooked quality ingredients served with a smile. Best breakfast in Falmouth by far. Ignore the previous review, a one-time contributor so probably a competitor. Everything here is delicious, and the music playlist is awesome.

The £4 smoothies were just bland milk with berry seeds. My burger was dripping in grease. My girlfriend’s poached eggs were tiny with one being almost boiled, her salsa was chopped raw onion and tomato, her avocado was less than half of an avocado. They forgot our smoked salmon but that’s the best thing they did. Over-priced and terrible

Trying to find coffee beans on a Sunday afternoon in Falmouth recently. Supermarkets shut. The owner of Strand opened up and gave us some. What service. Then the coffee itself - rich, dark and delicious. Will be back to try it from a professional. Absolutely first class.

We met my nephew and his girlfriend here for lunch and it was just right. The communication to book beforehand was prompt and friendly, and the food seemed like good quality without having to pay the earth. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming too.

Came to Falmouth for a day trip and thought I'd try this little cafe just opposite the pier. The choices on the lunch menu range from sandwiches and toasties to the best Asian style food. We had the tacos with pulled pork instead of tofu and the chicken wontons. Both absolutely delicious and so much flavour. They also do takeaway as well as sit in! Go have a visit!

How I wish we were staying closer just popped in for lunch on a cold wet day I had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich proper ham not the plastic stuff many places serve my husband had the breakfast bap so full of bacon sausage and egg almost a full English and very good coffee. All served by a very nice young man. Even though this was just a snack it was the tastiest we have had this week

Cafe strand is a lovely, small cafe in Falmouth just opposite the pier. I would say it is more of a restaurant than a cafe as the quality of food is just amazing. I had a delicious pulled pork burger here. The flavours were so fresh. A perfect about of pork, (can't stand ordering a burger and there not being much filling!) But cafe strand didn't let me down. My partner had the double cheeseburger with fully loaded fries, with cheese, bacon and burger sauce! Just wow!! Such great flavours and so filling! The 2 gentleman who served me were friendly, attentive and were great to chat to! They were also actually the owners! Great to see their hard work going into the business. All covid restrictions were in place. Sanitising stations were available, the place was clean and spacious. If you check out their social media, it's always up to date with different variations of food nights. Raman, Chinese, Mexican! I will definitely go back here for sure! Keep up the hard work boys. Thought it was about time i gave this place a review ive been coming to cafe strand for a while now and the food and service are always amazing!! Keep up the good work guys!!

My wife and I stopped at this delightful establishment for breakfast on a cold winter morning. We were Covid secure with good social distancing and well stocked sanitiser dispensers available. A cheerful friendly member of the team welcomed us, showed us to our table, provided us with menus, took our order and served our drinks and food. The food was freshly cooked, was a generous portion and was very tasty. The team engaged with us and were keen to ensure we enjoyed our visit and to get our feed back on the food and our experience. A good local establishment, providing good Cornish hospitality and serving excellent food. Many thanks.We can heartily recommend the restaurant’s selection of cakes.

A late review but needed to be done. We stumbled across this by chance when visiting Falmouth on a day trip and what a find. Two Cornish breakfasts later and you had two very happy customers.A great little cafe with great food and service to match, which from other reviews, looks to be the same for everyone.Whatever you are doing or how you run the place then don't change as I reckon you've nailed it !If you're in Falmouth then give it a try, you won't be disappointed

I have been a couple of times for breakfast during lockdown, each time the food has been good quality and filling. Under new management the youngsters there are making a real go of it, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Bloody gorgeous little cafe. Freshly cooked food and excellent service. You can see the chefs actually putting the meals together , and they serve it to your table ! Nice touch . Definitely would recommend to anyone. Well done guys 👍

Went here for a quick lunch today, friendly chatty staff. Good prices and truly yummy food. When the waiting staff got busy the chef was walking by and took our order. I had the veggie Ramen and my husband had the ham, eggs and chips. Will defo go back and recommend it.

By far the best breakfast in Falmouth. Treat yourself to the Cornish breakfast it’s out of this world . All local produce .

Popped in there for just a coffee but couldn’t resist the menu. Had a great Huevos Rancheros and will be going back for their ramen signature dish! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it was a pleasure to eat there.

Had breakfast out a few times during a weeks holiday 1st week of September. Tried a few other places but the Strand is the best. Brekkies is a bit of a personal thing but for us the full English is perfect. Hot, properly cooked crispy bacon, Heinz beans, delicious sausages and fresh, tasty eggs that taste of..egg. Substantial, tasty beautifully cooked and served with a smile from the two guys running it. Don't go anywhere else. Top drawer!

Stumbled across Cafe Strand when looking for a breakfast in Falmouth. Well worth a visit. Had a traditional English, traditional Cornwall, vegan and vegetarian breakfast between the four of us and each one was superb. From the scrambled polenta to the cornish sausages, everything was perfect and presented well. Would return!

We had lunch on a grey day in August and both the food and the staff cheered us. They were very welcoming and the Huevos Rancheros tasted delicious and authentic. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and even the avocado was just the right amount of ripeness. Thank you

I've eaten in a lot of Falmouth cafes over the last couple of years and the stand out breakfast cafe in Falmouth is Cafe Strand. The welcome you get as you come in the door is outstanding, the staff are very friendly and the meals, cooked by professional chefs (I found out) are frankly exceptional. Can't wait to return next time I'm in town.

We were very close, and finally realized they served breakfast all day. We both had the half English breakfast and were full. We were only sad we discovered it on the last day. Staff very friendly.

Had a good breakfast in here.Very tasty good quality and all cooked fresh I had the traditional breakfast and was given the choice of 4 differs t types of bread.The coffee was good also not over priced for the amount of food you receive.A good way to start your day once the kids have been dropped off at school

Cafe was empty when we arrived after lunch. We decided on drinks and cake but felt that it was rather expensive (£2.25 for a can of Coke). Cake was also quite dry which was disappointing.

On holidays in Falmouth UK and we were starving and looking for a place to have a very late breakfast and found Cafe Strand. Had the best full English breakfast I think I have ever had and I fancy myself as a bit of a connoisseur of English Breakfasts. My wife chose the Pasta from the lunch Menu and was super happy. Why don't more Cafes have breakfast all day, lots of people sleep in, especially on holidays and want to eat late.The staff were super friendly and the coffee great. I see you have Japanese Ramen Noodles on Friday night will definitely pop back for that.

I hadn't eaten here for a while, and it's obviously under new ownership since the last time I did.Me and my husband ended up going here when we couldn't find anywhere else that did an all-day breakfast. And we were so glad we did! Honestly, this was one of the best Full English's that I've ever had (only beaten by a B&B on St Mary's 15 years ago!).Good quality products cooked to perfection and served by someone who actually seemed to care whether we liked it or not. We will be returning and we're recommending it to everyone we know who also likes their Full English!

I've travelled a lot and always seek out the best restaurants for ramen noodles wherever I travel. I stumbled on the most amazing cafe run by real chefs and they are running pop up ramen noodles and sushi every Friday night. We went there last Friday and I have to say this is THE best ramen noodles I have ever had! And they make their own noodles served in beautiful bowls made by a local artisan. As we'll be in Falmouth UK for a few more weeks we'll be back every Friday night for those amazing noodles.

Coffee is amazing we've had the cooked breakfast here and it was wonderful we've also had toasted sandwiches I must say it's restaurant quality food, very impressed. Staff are also great .

A tailor made breakfast to suit a vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Ample portions cooked to order. Friendly, dog-welcoming service and a great place to roll into as you leave the St Mawes ferry.

'Stranded'; get it? Had a lovely 'The Works' breakfast here for £7.20 Inc a decent coffee! And they let me off 20p as I didn't have the cash. Tasty bacon, not the cheap really salty rubbish, a couple nice sausages and decent hash browns. Not a greasy spoon in any way. Would defo recommend but Im the chef in a cafe down the road!

Nice welcome from the staff, service was prompt and we didn’t have to wait long before they took our order. Drinks came before the meal (which is what we wanted). I ordered a ham, cheese and mayonnaise sandwich with onion rings & my nan ordered the roast pork.

Had a fantastic breakfast here, great quality sausages, everything cooked as expected. Very good value for money, left feeling full and satisfied, will be using a lot more often in the future.

Only a small place but the prices are far lower than anywhere else and really good food with quick service from the friendly and helpful staff

Went in due to 5 scores on door but after sitting down found quite a few issues. Table cloths were left over from xmas, were ripped and grubby mug rings. Saw girl drying up in kitchen drop her towel, pick it up and continue to use it on plates. We ordered drinks and the mugs were very stained, one had a chip in the rim right where you drink from so asked politely for a different cup. 2 members of staff glared at us and gave filthy looks.

Properly made bacon butty. Lashings of delicious bacon, decent brown bread, good filter coffee. Awaiting the boat-trip to Helford and thinking The Strand is really well located and does an awesome job.

Was in Falmouth visiting with my cousin and she recommended Cafe Strand for a proper english breakfast.

Went here again this morning with my mum. Staff welcoming and friendly. Quite extensive menu and if your combination is not there just ask, Most places serve cheesy chips with just cheese put on the top but the ones here have cheese layered though them, delicious. Free WiFi available and large screen T.V. Colouring Books and Pencils for the kids. Specials board which usually has a roast. really worth a visit if you are in Falmouth

An excellent little place for stopping off for breakfast. The staff are exceptionally nice and the quality of food is very good.

Lovely breakfasts offered. Personally the smaller one is just right for me. Friendly staff, clean cafe and free wifi if you need it. A good local cafe. My husband says their burgers are the best.

This cafe was recommended to us by a Cornish local man and so glad we took his advice. Great home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and attentive.

My partner and I are becoming connoisseurs of the best breakfasts in Falmouth. The Strand offers the best value one that we have discovered so far, and it's nicely cooked. The owner substituted black pudding for the tinned tomatoes, which I dislike preferring fresh ones. The service is helpful and friendly. We visited on the recommendation of a friend as the exterior of the cafe had not tempted us in when walking by; flowers in the window and a blackboard instead of the paper menus would perhaps make it more enticing.

I have never noticed the Cafe Strand before and I have lived near Falmouth for 8 years. Popped in for lunch and a coffee. The place was buzzing just after 1pm. Most tables were occupied by older regulars who were chatting across tables, giving the restaurant a friendly feel. They even smiled and said hello to me. The staff were all out chatting to the customers when I entered, including the chef! That is how I would sum up this Cafe. If it has a lot of regulars and the staff know them all, then they must be doing something right.

We popped in and had the full breakfasts, tasty, cheap, friendly staff, nice scones. All in all good, not fancy at all but what it lack in decor it makes up for in food.

My husband and I decided we would go out every Sunday morning for breakfast and try somewhere different each time. After a summer of trying out different places we are now happy to visit Cafe Strand every Sunday. The staff are friendly and will do anything to make sure you enjoy whatever you have. The breakfast is fantastic all locally sourced food. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good meal at a reasonable price

Popped in for an impromptu cream tea whilst visiting the harbour and wasn't disappointed!

We popped in for something to eat after the Red Arrows display. It wasn't very busy and we were not that hungry so just wanted lite bites. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the full menu was still available including jacket spuds and soups. As we'd had a lot of chips and full-english breakfasts we thought we'd have something (relatively) healthy. We ordered soup and roll and it really was very hearty and filling. The price including drinks was very reasonable and the service was very good. Only downside is there's no WC and the nearest is public ones across the road so make sure if you have kids that you take them before your order arrives!

it was mid afternoon and we were looking for some liquid refreshment of the non-alcohol kind, there were endless coffee "Costa packet" type places.... but we are T drinkers, and struggled to find a good place to visit. after much searching found the Cafe strand, this place gave us a "Bostin cuppa"....sorry Mug! Oh the simple pleasures in life!!

popped in here one saturday morning after a few recommendations , as was not disappointed , lovely freshly cooked breakfast , no complaints , have also heard they do a mean pasty so going to have to check these bad boys out

We chose the Strand Cafe opposite Falmouth Post Office, because of the price and we weren't disappointed.

Heard great things about the new pastys so had to visit. The first one last week was superb, very well packed and brilliantly cooked/seasoned. Good meat to filling ratio, but with a surprise, LEAK ! I'm not moaning though as it was really very very good. Unexpected but it works well.

Been here several times since the new owner has taken over. Burgers very good quality. Breakfast great. Very affordable and friendly staff. Fine dining it isn't, but a lovely cafe nonetheless. Definitely worth a visit.

Saturday lunchtime, ordered jacket potatoes, took an age to arrive and then were very sad and sorry looking, salad accompaniment was a bit of wilted letter and 2 halves of a miniscule cherry tomato. Tuna mayo was lacking in the mayo department, waitress made a comment that 'Gavin doesn't like to add much mayo as it looks like cat food'. Nice.

breakfast was the best i have had, lovely staff, the cafe has just been refurbished and looking great, i will be back again.
