Cafe San Remo in South Bucks

I’m a regular and every time I order a coffee I get half a cup of coffee and half a cup of froth , seems it’s a regular thing and friends I’m with experience the same , coffee isn’t cheap here so if iv orders a cup of coffee then please give me a whole cup of coffee , train your staff to do their job properly .

The fries were fine, that’s the positive. The lasagna is truly awful, probably the worst I’ve ever had and at £8.50 with fries/salad, isn’t a cheap option. I have no idea how you get lasagna so wrong but it seems they don’t use sauce or filling, just layers of dry pasta with a sprinkling of grated cheese on top. Truly bizarre. Treat yourself to something else.

Lovely place for refreshments after a walk around Black Park. We normally have a bacon bap & coffee and never disappointed 😊

We brought 11 hungry pre-teens to the cafe for a 12th birthday lunch after a Go Ape activity in the park. We had a dedicated corner of the cafe. The team were helpful and efficient, food was freshly cooked and ready within a few minutes of our arrival (we had pre-ordered one of the party packages) and service was helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable too. Thank you for rounding off a great birthday celebration.

Decent breakfast - and more importantly cooked how we asked. Coffee was good - and thought it was fairly reasonably priced as well. I presume it was cost saving - but they had disabled the outside heaters and it really wasn’t the weather for it! Nonetheless a nice pit stop with the kids and dog.

Firstly the toilets have gone so now there is only one, resulting in long queues and unclean facilities. The bun for the hotdog was stale and the lattes we bought had a strange taste. They did replace them with americanos when I asked but they were tasteless and watered down. It used to be lovely spot, but we will not be returning after today.

Portion sizes are large and service is super quick considering the extensive lunch time queues. We always get nuggets and chips for the little ones and toasties for the adults. Nice fast food which is hot out the fryer. Great pick me up after a play in the forest.

Speciality of the day: 2 vegan burger with fries and two Pepsi. £19.40 for literally 2 slices of bread and one frozen patty. Picture attached because it’s hard to believe.

Great reasonably priced food. The dog loved the doggie sausage for his lunch. Ice cream great for pudding too. Lovely views of the lake from the cafe too. Plenty of shade and lots of picnic bences. Located next to a children's play area.

Poor, cold and not very fresh. Service was fast but it didn’t taste fresh. In fact the bacon tasted like it was cooked days before. Coffee also not very nice

I come here nearly every Saturday morning after the park run and just want to say that the atmosphere is very welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff complement the lovely latte. Thank you!

I travelled from Scotland to meet old pals and we enjoyed delicious cake, and an enormous choice of tea, in glorious sunshine over the beautiful lake. They even posted back to Scotland for free without me asking them to , the belongings I left behind on a bench because I was so relaxed, enjoying myself!

A nice pretty setting by the lake & a nice large terrace for when it's dry. BUT: my latte may as well been warm milk, virtually no coffee flavour at all. Also, cyclists are meant to walk from car park to cafe, which is going to damage cleats on shoes. I've previously asked if riding at walking pace ok, told no! As responsible adults that was an unwelcome response; so I then asked if access could be given via the car park that services the cafe (not the public car park), again negative response. They are potentially losing a lot of cycling customers through their poor attitude. ☹

The manager of this cafe should hang her head in shame, customer satisfaction is clearly not remotely a priority. The staff are very rude and unhelpful, they charge for food items you don't ask for and then lie about it, treat disabled people badly and shout at their customers. The food is overpriced and very poor quality and the toilets are a disgrace. A cynical, money making place to be avoided at all costs.

These were two separate visits, on the 2nd and the 6th of June 2021: 6/6/21: Despite the website saying that last orders for hot drinks is 15 minutes before closing, which is 6PM, I was refused coffee at around 5:20-5:25 and when I asked I was told that the coffee machine stops at 5:15: Also, 2/1/21: a few days prior to the coffee problem mentioned above we were sitting on their terrace finishing our drinks and were told at 5:50 that "the gates are closing now so we have to get out", these were the lady's exact words.

I visited black park for a morning out with my family, the gate to the lakeside cafe was open, with no clear signs as to when the place opened, we attempted to enter, only for an EXTREMELY rude and obnoxious staff member to angrily shout at me and my family (a toddler), for being 15 minutes early. I would seriously question the ability for them to deal with families as well as maintaining any standards on that showing. Safe to say I didnt go back and wont do going forwards. Pathetic showing from what should be a family friendly environment.

I have coeliacs disease and need gluten free food and this cafe have really tasty food, so imagine my excitement when I discover a falafel and spinach burger gluten free with gluten free bread! Presentation is beautiful, and the staff are amazing. They remembered my exact order from previous week, even toasting the bread! They even remembered what flavour syrup I like in my coffee! Well done to San Remo cafe and more importantly, well done to the super friendly staff

The takeaway cups have got smaller. The policy for a stamp on a loyalty card is one stamp per transaction. As there are often a group and it is usually busy we pay for a number of drinks individually to get the loyalty stamps. This is ridiculous they make enough money on Tea as it is with a 30p increase per cup last year. Bad customer service

My wife is an avid 5km runner, however rehabilitating at the moment due to a knee injury. So we decided to walk the 5km route today, which was great. This was followed up by a full English (don't have them often).Lovely girls behind the counter, friendly with smiles. The food was fine.

Very bad poor customer service. Staff rude and ignorant. They put chairs on table 40 min before closing time and spray chemical just next to You so You taste chemical instead of cafe. Shame as park is really nice but avoid this cafe

We (three adults, two small children) stopped for a snack and drink on a very busy Thursday lunchtime Service was friendly, quick and efficient. Food quite a surprise, Delicious burger and very authentic kebabs cooked to perfection. Generous portions Pleasant outdoor ambiance. Not cheap but not overpriced. A good overall experience! .

Bought seven double ice cream cones, one cone snapped clean in half after being handed to my son, I hadn’t even paid yet, they just stared at me and held out the pay pad I touched my card too it, waiting for them to do something. The girls behind the counter just stared at me as I asked about clearing it up could he have another as it was a problem with the cone it’s not like he dropped it I even showed the piece of cone left In his had. It was refused completly, he was holding it it was his fault.

My friend and I go to Black Park regularly as it is such a beautiful place and our dogs love it. We always stop for coffee or tea at this cafe but we find the staff miserable and unhelpful and the food is very basic. It's also very overpriced. We found out after overhearing another customer that they have loyalty cards so we asked for one as there were none in sight or on the counter. We were told by staff they kept them in the drawer of the till so no wonder we had not found out about it. We got one and when we used it the next time we bought our 2 drinks we got 1 stamp so I asked why just 1 stamp when we bought 2 coffees and they said it was per transaction! I have never been to a cafe that is this stingy. If you buy 1 drink or 6 you only get 1 stamp so pay separately for each drink and then you will get the right amount of stamps. We always pay separately now due to this. We decided to have lunch there recently and ordered sandwiches and when they came it was brown or white hovis bread that was used and very boring and basic not tasty at all grissly ham and frozen cold prawns so don't bother with the sandwiches which were very pricey for what they were.Yesterday we had 2 teas and bought the dogs their usual 2 doggy sausages and it cost £4.60. We were not given the sausages and when I went to get them I was stared at by staff as if I was stealing them and had not paid for them. We decided there and then we had had enough of this place and in future will bring our own food if we stay for lunch.The cafe has mainly outdoor picnic tables and a few tables inside but dogs are not welcome inside so during the winter months the tables inside are usually empty. The outside tables are never wiped down when it has rained so theres nowhere dry to sit so we get a takeaway drink and do not stay. What a waste of a lovely setting as it could be a thriving cafe. It should be dog friendly too in such a doggy friendly Park. Lots of cafes in towns welcome dogs on leads so this would be great during the winter as we could sit inside. The only good thing about this cafe are the cakes but they are as expensive as Windsor prices so take your credit card! Doggy sausages are a great idea too and the ice cream is nice but you cant have a single waffle cone just a double for £3.50. I thought this rule very odd. There is a kiosk near Go Ape and the lady there is so friendly and smiley we have decided to give her our business. The only problem there is she only takes cash. It's fine for drinks or snacks but not lunch but a smile goes a long way so she will get our custom from now on and not Cafe Remo.

Growing up with the lido being a place I’d often go on the weekends it’s great to see a cafe that finally offers cheap food!I have only had coffee from the cafe which was actually delicious but the menu is huge with lots of choices from paninis, pasta and burgers. There is also a huge range of ice creams for a nice sunny day. Offer take out and eat in services and accept credit card.

I love it here, great for a relaxed lunch overlooking the lake. I like to walk my dogs around the park and settle down on the decking outside for lovely food, good service and value for money. Highly recommended.

This lovely modern cafe sits nicely nestled midway around the lake next to the children's play area in Black Park.The cafe has seating mainly outside due to the stunning setting and a small amount of seating inside Food options range from a bacon or sausage in a roll to light lunches and daily specials. The cafe and facilities are very clean and well maintained .Staff are extremley helpful and friendly and service effecient Food is somewhat basic Sausage or bacon in a roll is literally just that - a sausage in a dry roll .Caesear salad was a plate of dark green dry lettuce sprinkled with grated cheddar cheese and a chopped tomatoBut hey its a cafe in a country park - what you see is what you get To sit with a cool can of soft drink on a warm afternoon in such beautiful surroundings is one of life's simple pleasures They also sell Dog sausages at 50p a sausage for hungry pooches at the end of their walks so something for everyone ,

Good coffee, good food, friendly staff. The vegetarian sausage baps are really good and it’s a really clean relaxing place to catch a bite.

Ideal refuelling station if you are enjoying some time in Black Park.

Very expensive for poor quality food and drink, the coffee is rank nearly un drinkable. Had 2 sausage rolls and one coffee £8.50 wasn’t the best at all wont bother again everything is well over priced

Having paid a whopping £3.70 to park at Black Park in the first place, we had a disappointing visit here yesterday. It was swarming with wasps outside, and as on various previous visits, it just wasn’t very clean, although I saw a few members of staff trying to clean the tables etc. It may just be too busy for them to cope with. The ice cream and hot chocolate are very good, though. Toilets again not very clean; in the ladies, one was out of order and the toilet roll holder fell off the wall on me when I was in there. Ugh! Won’t be rushing back.

Cycled here for breakfast , service was nice and efficent but the full english or the ommlets we had where nothing special .

My family and I went to black park for a dog walk and decided to grab an ice cream from the cafe. We were stood waiting for 5 minutes whilst staff were busy chatting to eachother, then once we were served the lady was unfriendly and miserable. She also served the ice cream in the cone with her bare hands without cleaning them first and handling previous payments of cash/ card which is highly unhygienic. The staff simply seemed like they wanted to get rid of people and couldn’t be bothered to do their job.. definitely not somewhere I would expect to have miserable service seeing as it’s supposed to be a friendly place where dog walkers and families are supposed to enjoy a nice day out.

Love the location. Lots of places to sit down and the service is relatively fast. Burgers not great but edible. Good ice cream in the summer.

The San Remo cafe do lots of things, all of them well. If you’re a meat eater the chicken kebabs are fabulous. If you’re a veggie try their greek salad.

Turning into the car park at Black Park I was greeted by a San Remo van who decided to take the right side ENTRANCE to exit the car park and nearly cause an accident. Please remind your drivers that they are to drive on the LEFT side and should they forget that there is a red DO NOT ENTER sign to remind them which they chose to ignore. Luckily I was fast enough to spot the van but it was close to a crash and this could have been a family with small children. If the drivers are unsure which side they should be driving on there are clear signs in Black Park indicating which side should be used to leave the car park. Shameless and irresponsible.

1) They have a metal plaque inside advertising hot dogs - But you won't find hot dogs anywhere on the actual menu.

Good value tasty midweek lunch very efficiently served at the San Remo lakeside café for a group of 17 walkers, following our walk around Black Park. The food we preordered at the start of our walk, ranged from Chicken Kebab, Lasagne and Vege Burger specials as well as meat burgers, various jacket potatoes, omelettes and scrambled eggs, tuna and sweetcorn baguette from the standard menu. Accompaniments were fries or salad. All commented on the good value tasty food and prompt efficient service, despite the fact that we had arrived half an hour earlier than arranged. We have not brought a group on a weekend which can become very crowded when the weather is sunny. There is a charge for parking in the Black Park Car Park.

What a fantastic cafe to take the family, after a great time in the park. We had a burger for me, home made soup of the day for the wife and beans for the little one. Clean plates all around. Cakes and ice cream to follow delicious. Highly recommend to all.

We visit this lovely little cafe whilst walking the dogs in Black Park. The food is wholesome and good value, and the service is always excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and it is great to see a team of young people with such enthusiasm and positive attitude. Today I was with five family members and we were a little slow making up our minds, but they were so patient. The big breakfast is exceptional value at just £6.50, and you can have it all day!!

I used San Remo for a party location for 24 boys. The food was as requested - requesting chicken nuggets with fries and baked beans, arriving on time. I opted for the party package which included their delicious ice--creams. The portions were extremely generous for both main and ice-cream. Staff were attentive and handled a large group extremely well. Thanks!

We always picked up a cafe latte half way through our walk! This time we had a breakfast as well! Very good value, very nice service.

A range of reasonably priced hot and cold food including a good selection of delicious cakes. Although it was very busy when I visited and I had to queue for a while, once I was served the food and drinks were provided promptly. The place was bright and clean. The staff I dealt with were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would recomend this cafe and will definitely go back.

This is a lovely clean friendly little cafe. Set next to the car park at Langley Park in Bucks. The food is beautifully cooked and presented. The vegetarian breakfasts are simply the best and are presented on the plate with style. Dog walkers can sit under cover and enjoy a cuppa whilst mans best friend can have a dog sausage. Lovely atmosphere and super staff. Never disappointed!

Soy un habitual en este café, y he visitado al menos una vez por semana durante los últimos 6. 5 años. El café es excelente, sándwiches muy sabroso, menú de lo contrario bueno, helado y torta de selección fantástica, y el personal es muy amable y servicial. El café está siempre limpio y brillante, y nunca deja de animarme. Aparte de eso, tiene precioso Lago - Vistas laterales. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

El café es grande con un montón de habitaciones limpias y luminosas. Me llega justo después de la apertura y ya tenía un flujo constante de clientes. No había cola porque todo el mundo fue atendida rápidamente. Pedí el desayuno grande como yo estaba en el parque durante el día. La comida fue traído a mí muy rápidamente y probado. Las raciones eran de buen tamaño y calidad mejor de lo esperado. La próxima vez que estoy en el parque sin duda el café de nuevo.

Black Park has a Great Lake and some wonderful walks as well as hosting the 'Go Ape' activity centre. At one side of the lake is this nice cafe serving breakfasts and lunches, the staff were very cheerful and very accommodating offering to have special off the menu snacks prepared, for vegetarians in our group. There are bathroom facilities on site, ample space to hold kids parties. It also sells some great ice creams and a nice stop whilst strolling the park.

Situated by the side of the lake in Black Park it offers a good variety of lunches for adults and children. There was plenty of seating outside which was kept clean and tidy by the café staff. We ended our lunch with a delicious ice-cream. The only downside to the café was the queue to order lunch although the staff did bring it quickly to the table.

This cafe does yummy cakes, ice creams, snacks and other treats. There is plenty of seating and toilets. Queues can be long. It's a good place to chill out in the middle of Black Park.

Be careful when you buy day fishing tickets here, they will happily sell them anytime, but when you are moved away by park rangers because it's out of season don't expect a simple cheque by way of refund, they've lied and been completely unhelpful and I've still to receive a refund

We booked a table for 8 children and 3 adults for my daughter's birthday party lunch after doing Go Ape on a Saturday morning. The party menu is really good value with a nice range of food and we were well looked after by the café staff. We pre-ordered the children's food and ordered the adults' food on the day. I would thoroughly recommend the cafe if you are doing a Go Ape party for your child.

Bumped into the San Remo cafe and decided to have lunch....Wife had tuna mayo which was ok I had a cheese burger that was dry and very very basicKids had nuggets and fish fingers both meal where left as they said they did not like them.Coffee & tea was good but small.Would not recommend this cafe sorry

Boy have cafe's change in the 30 years since I last walked Black Park with two of my Grand kids, San Remo's would be a welcome stop if on the high street. To have such a clean modern place in the middle of the park when no choice is available is fantastic.They serve fully cooked meals but we only wanted coffee to warm up but could not resist sausage & bacon rolls. The bacon roll is the choice. I had the sausage roll heated and it went very soggy once out of the micro wave, not good.The place though is open, very clean & modern. There's slates, chalks and kiddies stuff for the little ones. A very nice coffee or tea stop.

Very friendly staff always pleasant and helpful. Reasonably priced food. Very clean café with good facilities. Lovely outside seating area when weather permits.

Beautiful cafe in Langley park near the car park . Beautiful park to walk in . Lots to do for kids or dog walkers . Cafe is beautiful and luxury to find hot drinks and tasty snacks at reasonable prices in the park . Inside the cafe is beautifully decorated but lots of places outside for walkers who want to sit with their dogs or just enjoy the sunshine . Definitely wil be going back . Good clean toilets and all accesible for wheelchair users as well.

Third visit. The first time was for breakfast which was very good. Two other occasions, we asked for hot food. The first time, we were declined as the hour had changed on clocks. Visit today for lunch after a long hospital appointment. We asked for two sausage baps, was told no - no reason given, but offered a cheese and ham sandwich - err no thanks!! I think if we would have wanted one we would have asked for it! Just had hot drinks and then left to have food at home. Won't be returning, not impressed

I came here after a long walk with a friend in the middle of the week and was glad to find a welcoming warm friendly environment. We both had the burger meal deal which was again served quickly and with a smile. A perfectly cooked burger which I'm hoping was locally made? Certainly tasted like a very good quality burger. My only issue was the fact the burger did not come with cheese and it was an extra 50p for a small slice of nuclear plastic cheese! Looking forward to coming here again

Popular with folk of all ages especially dog owners and tots. Makes good stop at end of lovely walks around lake and woods. Recommended. Good to unwind inside or on terrace outside. Bit pricey but who cares?

Normally a really long queue but less people prob due to the fall weather so we didn't wait long to order food. Food appeared quickly and was enjoyed by children, I returned my panini to be warmed as i prefer my Brie more melted and a staff member was happy to oblige. The males in the group were disappointed by their burgers described as gourmet but with just the meat and bun was not really gourmet by their standards, maybe some lettuce, tomato etc? The chips were delicious and the ice cream was very nice. The hot chocolate was much nicer than the tea!

When it's very busy the food and service are not great which I know is common in England but it's so easy to predict - good weather means English people flock to outdoor parks so more staff recommended. It's ok but cam take forever snd the a is often out of the door !

Nice cafe overlooking the lake. Dog friendly, good choice of food but a little on the pricey side. Good to see they cater for children and also have high chairs.

This Café has lovely views of the lake and has a large paved patio area with picnic type benchs and some round tables and chairs. This is a Dog friendly café which allows you to bring your dog onto the main patio area where everyone sits or you can sit outside of this area on benchs with tables. This Cafe also does Dog sausages cut up for your best friend for 50p, Dog drinking bowls are just outside the patio area near the benchs. It does good food from sandwichs to meals inc breakfasts all at reasonable prices. It can get busy at peak season or on a good weather day so be prepared to wait for food. A nice place to eat / relax and have a chat.

The owner is rude and the coffee is expensive and not nice. She is greedy and only cares about profit. £1.80 for a small bottle of coke! She knows she has a monopoly and exploits that fact.

Took the pooch for a walk round black park which is always lovely. Stopped for a coffee and a slice of cake here and found it very reasonable value for a very nice coffee and cake. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a quick break in a lovely countryside setting

With the staff's help we were able to organise a special birthday treat for a family member. The team were extremely helpful by reserving us a table outside, pre ordering our food and serving it to the table which made the whole afternoon extremely enjoyable. The outside seating area is kid and dog friendly and you are able to look our over the lake, really lovely.

Thank you San Remo! We chose Black Park as part of the 60th birthday celebrations for my partner, her family and grandchildren. Plus our dogs of course! When we contacted San Remo we were immediately impressed by their helpfulness. We were not disappointed on the day! It was a very busy, sunny Sunday but the table was prepared for us at the allotted time and the staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive. Reasonably priced for really good, tasty meals. Can't recommend it strongly enough. Jim & family.

The price for the drink and food is extortionate and it appears San Remo is exploiting its monopoly position. I go regularly and have seen a deterioration in the service. On a busy day you can wait up to 20 minutes to be served which might be due to the turnover of staff. Leave this establishment well alone and bring a flask.

Lovely visit to black park on a cold day so we decided to stop for some lunch at the cafe. The inside is very well kept and was clean & warm. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad which was so tasty and a hot meal for my son which was good value for money. During our visit my son managed to cut his finger so I asked a member of staff (I think her name was Emma?) for their first aid box and she was more than happy to help. She provided me with a plaster and ensured my son was ok before we left. Overall a great experience made even better by friendly staff. We will be returning and recommending thanks!!

Cafe San Remo outside seating area is lovely. Food however is pretty average - sure, not expensive - but quite a let down. And loads and loads of wasps which was unpleasant.

This is the only place in Black Park if you wish to have some food or drinks. We only had coffee and it was fine.

Ok it was busy as it was a bank holiday but the staff need to be trained on customer service very sullen and could not careless attitude run out of trays, salt, ketchup and the list goes on even charging 40p for debit card transaction -take a picnic better value.

Busy Cafe with an everyone welcome policy.The food and coffee is a must I have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.

We went to go ape for my sons birthday party today and booked in advance at San remo cafe to cater for our party of ten children. We walked into the cafe at the time we specified and even tho the cafe was packed our table was ready for us. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was delivered hot and delicious. They were very quick and efficient and I cant praise them enough. The young girl serving us constantly had a smile and all our requests were delivered.We would like to thank you for making my sons birthday party even more special.Tina white

Black park is a fantastic place suitable for all ages and interests. Cafe San Remo provides a welcome stop for walkers when its freezing cold or boiling you as today. My wife and I met up with a young mum friend and we all enjoyed a well prepared although basic lunch. The sandwiches are probably the best bet although I was tempted by the all day breakfast.Staff are efficient and friendly.

Gets very busy at weekends but I guess thats because it good. You can get sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, cakes & Ice Cream. Cold drinks tea & coffee is available. Most of the seating is outside so if the weather is bad there is a rush inside. Overall very good and by the time you have walked there from the car park you are ready for refreshments.

We visited the cafe on a sultry Spring day, and had lunch at an outside table, overlooking the lake. The selection of dishes was good, and we both enjoyed a tasty veg. lasagne. My wife had salad with hers and I had chips. The cafe is popular with young families, not least for its separate ice cream counter. Prices are reasonable, it is open every day, and the toilets are clean. It is the place to go when visiting the park.

we regularly walk our dog in black park and always stop for a hot drink or a bite to eat in the cafe.the staff are friendly and service always good even during peak times.we would recommend the cafe to anyone who likes good food that is not over priced and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a coffee and a chat.

Café San Remo offers excellent facilities for those who use the park. Service is friendly and they offer a good variety of food and drink which can be consumed either inside or out on the large terrace overlooking the lake. I have eaten here many times and the food has always been good - they cater well for gluten and dairy free diet. This is a wonderful place to meet friends, bring the family or just have a quiet five minutes after enjoying the park. I will definitely be back.

We visit this restaurant quite often and we have always been very satisfied with the food and drinks. I am a veggie and the food has always been good and tasty, especially the daily specials which change frequently and the Aubergine Bake was the best I have ever tasted.Staff have always been helpful and friendly to me so I am surprised by other reviews I have read. The restaurant is quite often busy but this has never reflected in the service I have received (unlike some other restaurants which don't cope at all well in busy times!!) Food has always come out in a very acceptable time. I shall continue to visit this restaurant regularly.

Stopped here on a rather wet but very pleasant ramble. Had over 2 miles to go and a race against time to beat the dark!. Lovely lakeside setting with beautiful reflection of the autumn colours despite rather grey skies. Notice 3 other reviews decrying the hot food and staff attitude. Can't speak for the hot food as we had hot drinks and cake but they were great and the staff seemed friendly enough. Menu looked impressive - good choice for all tastes. Hope they buck up their ideas for veggies if it's really bad as some of these say. Good access for the disabled and buggies also.

visited this place after a nice walk around the country park., as was hungry. the staff seemed very depressed and not very enthusiastic. the venue is not bad. when our food was put out it was shocking to look at., my girl friend who ordered the veg lasauge got what looked like a plate of sloppy green sick. it was over water boiled pasta sheets with a few over cooked carrots and greens, Thats it., no cheese., no sauce. i had a cheese and ham omelette, it was ok at best., dry with no to little cheese., was shocked they could serve it without being embarrassed. my girlfriend said her hot chocolate was nice.

Just left the place....couldnt pay me enough to go back. Wouldn't even feed the food to the ducks! Chav run kitchen. I had veg lasagna, at least Thats what they claimed it was. It was actually over boiled lasagna sheets with over boiled carrots and, we think, cabbage...yes people that was It. Tasteless, unimaginative and looked like someone had thrown up on my plate.....just awful!!! Take a picnic!!!

Tasteless coffee, overcooked solid sausages. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service. Shame food and drinks let it down.

.....is not the word to describe the food here. While the service is great and ambience next to the lake is fantastic alas the food and drink spoils it. Wether you order coffee that tastes like nothing in particular(it could have been eggnog or tea for the lack of taste) or overcooked sausages, good luck to you. There is one saving grace, if there were to be a Zombie apocalypse, here is the place to make a stand due to the deadly pork based torpedo shaped products (sausage may be too generous a description) which are in abundance.
