Cafe Plaza in Tonbridge and Malling

Staff are alway smiling and on the ball, offering fast service to your table inside or out. Always willing to get extra sauces etc, good value for money my only request would be to change the sausages, nobody I know rates them much

The OWVC would like to express our thanks to Chelsea and her colleagues for providing us help and space at relatively short-notice (24hrs) to accommodate all 16 of us, dropping in for a coffee and some cake for the first stop on our Challenge-75 bike ride to Sandwich in support of the Whizz Kidz charity. We visit this cafe once a month when we are local for an appointment. We usually arrive about 8.15 and have always managed to get a table. Service is always friendly,prompt and patient. We generally have breakfast and have always been able to change our orders around a bit from what's on offer on the menu although the menu has a vast option of foods. The food is always delivered piping hot straight from being cooked, we've never recieved the wrong food and the food is delicious and the portion sizes are more than adequate. Condiments are on the table ready to use. Soft drinks are available from a fridge and so have always been chilled and they do a vast range of hot drinks. We are always happy with the service, food, friendliness and cleanliness of this cafe and we would use more often if we were closer.

This local cafe is good value and the staff are very lovely. The food is what you'd expect from a local cafe but is well preseted

Firstly, lovely staff, lovely coffee, but very pricey for what you get. Very low quality sausages, bread and butter is actually bread and margarine. Two breakfasts, two coffees, £21! If this was quality food I wouldn’t mind the price. It wasn’t.

Really lovely homely cafe. The waitresses are lovely, helpful and place is lovely and clean and food very nice too. Going back very soon.

Visited with my husband and grandson, coffee lovely, and great bacon sandwich, my only criticism is they do not have high chairs so my two year old grandson had to stay sitting in his pushchair as he was to little to sit up at the table, friendly staff and very reasonable prices

The pie, mash and liquor the cafe supplies is definitely very tasty and was a much enjoyed meal throughout the family. The only thing that does put me off slightly however is that the prices aren't exactly cheap! It's around £9.50 for a double pie and double mash! But other than that, the meal was very nice!

Often come here for lunch or late breakfast. Can get quite busy. They also do take away foods. Panini are excellent.

I can recommend this eating place, never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly and efficient. The service you get from this establishment is excellent.

We use Cafe Plaza quite a lot, we are always greeted with smiles and are made to always feel very welcome, all the staff are amazing. The food is always cooked fresh and there isn't a long wait to get your order. Cannot recommend Cafe Plaza highly enough and if you haven't been then you need to go.

had a walk about the area and went into this cafe for coffee and muffin,the weather was nice so i sat outside,BRILLIANT COFFEE thanks will deffinately visit again and eat too ,id also recomend you to friends

Nice early stop for breakfast which was well cooked and delivered quickly. Reasonably priced. Pleasant and clean cafe in good location with ample free parking. Worth a try

We arived here by chance after a long and emotionally demanding trip. Greeted by young smiley waitress who remained cheerful and helpful throughout - a great credit to this cafe. Standard selection as expected for a cafe of this type but very reasonably priced and of good quality. A proper mug of tea and I would recommend the fried egg bagguette - done to perfection and served with an interesting side salad. Just the job.

Popped in on the spur of the moment and was pleasently surprised. A cheery good morning from the staff and after a few moments a pleasent young lass came over to take our order. A great mug of tea arrived first and shortly after our Veggie breaky, wasn't sure if I was going to be able to eat it all as there was loads. Really tasty, will visit again, thank you team.Kris

I was looking everywhere for a breakfast and i was recommended to this place. It is what it is a nice English breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Not a bad cafe nice and clean but food quality could be better ie sausages are crap no flavor very basic other than that it's an average establishment

First time dining here the other week. went for the plaza special....really looking forward to it but then out it comes...broken egg (seriously, everyone loves a runny egg). the sausages...was there any meat in them? everything else was brilliant, plentiful but not great. the staff were friendly and kind. just need to change the sausages and sort the eggs out and it'll be the perfect breakfast you could ask for.

Came here for a quick bite to eat at lunch time. Pleasant service from the ladies in the cafe. Good range of menu. Had 2 panini's and 2 cups of tea for under £10. Very quick and lovely food. Would be nice to see more vegetarian sandwich / panini options.

Usually stop at cafe plaza couple of times a month for breakfast when we finish work early. Food and service are always great.

My favourite cafe of all time! Love the traditional breakfast and they even let you substitute bits and pieces! Only £7 for massive fry up and a drink! Lovely staff even remember my order when I go in! (Not sure if that's a good thing!!) also there baguettes are lovely! I recommend bacon baguette they come with a lovely little salad too! All in all my favourite cafe!

I love this cafe, staff really friendly, food always nice, lots of variety, good for kids, their omelets are the best i"ve ever had

Having looked for somewhere for breakfast found we were just up the road from this café by looking on trip advisor. We were delighted to find that the breakfast they served was perfect for my wife and myself. My wife had the traditional and I had the larger option both were delicious and just the right amount at the right price.

My first day off for a while - so I decided on a lazy breakfast after I'd been to the Post Office. Full English, freshly prepared, good portions, and very tasty with a good mug of tea to wash it down - Perfect! Good service and great value too. What's not to like? Take cash though - they don't take plastic.

I live in Larkfield and the cafe is the only place I go back to regularly in Martins Square. The traditional breakfast is always cooked really well, and having chips is a bit different but works! The staff are very friendly and the service is quick. It's also a great place to pop in if you want a quick take away baguette. I would highly recommend here for a breakfast or lunch, I just wish it was also open on a Sunday!

Good good,nice friendly staff,free newspapers, normally plenty of tables available but obviously busiest at lunchtime outdoor seating available and take a way available.good clean toilet facilities.

I have visited Cafe Plaza (with friends/family) for lunch so many times since it was opened a few years ago and each time was a satisfying experience. The decor is in typical cafe style, bright and airy with various pictures on the wall and an open kitchen. The tables/chairs are functional and comfortable. The menu has a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and choice of drinks. The daily special is chalked up on the board. The staff is friendly, the food was always freshly prepared and cooked. The quality of the food is good, it is a great watering hole for lunch/coffee.The only downside is that during busy times (around 12 noon) it can get filled up quickly and there had been a few occasions that we couldn't get in. I think it's a nice place to have lunch and will continue to visit.

The Cafe Plaza is a small neighbourhood cafe in a shopping precinct in a suburb of Maidstone. You could easily walk past it. Yesterday, I was taking a short break from a local assignment and I spotted it after walking through the back of Morrisons' car park. I ordered a chicken and bacon mayo salad sandwich and a mug of tea. The tea, strong and hot, came almost immediately I sat down, followed shortly by a well presented sandwich on good granary bread.The tea was good - I ordered a refill - and so was the food. The staff were friendly and efficient. The price wasn't bad either: just over £4.Why review a simple cafe? Well, most of us find ourselves looking for a pleasant place for a simple lunch now and then. I certainly do. It's always helpful if someone else ticks the box for you.If you're looking for that place in Larkfield, try the Plaza Cafe. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
