Great service - great food! Popped in for a quick lunch - sandwiches, jacket potatoes, coffee and cakes - all fab.

Those who run the cafe are very friendly and courteous to the customers . My friends and myself meet there every Wednesday and there is always a friendly welcome,plus it is run by local churches which is a bonus to us

Lovely friendly atmosphere, it's run by church people, who are polite, helpful, patient, nothing is to much trouble. Always get service with a smile 😁 it's a place you could quite easily go to on your own or if you felt lonely and the food is excellent.

I had a really good experience here today where the manager was very attentive to my needs, would go back again because of this.

Friendly community cafe, good value and with outside seating. At the moment there are also socially distanced hearts painted on the grass outside. Also visit the small museum on the Square while you are passing.

Missed popping in for a coffee while we've been in lockdown so pleased the cafe has opened 10 til 3 for takeaway & there are seats outside.

Best caff in Britain and ive been to most, prices fantastic, four toast and mug of tea with butter and jam for under £3!! I go here for breckers most days

Not the sort of venue you go out of your way to visit. But if you are in the area one worth popping by. Drinks and (a limited amount of) food are just what is needed. And good value for money. And all service comes with a smile.

Great choice of panini's +++ jacket potatoes and so much more. Super home made cake and plenty of drinks choices. Great service thank you very much, very therapeutic.

I went here the other day, went by myself, bacon sandwich was absolutely amazing, oh and the tiffin too! Proper coffee (which you don't expect from such a small place). Lovely atmosphere everyone was so chatty and welcoming, even the other customers. Staff were lovely and friendly, I was enjoying reading my book, they made me feel very welcome and in no rush to get rid of me. Great prices, great staff, lively atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Converted loo opened as a community cafe by Princess Anne a few years ago!! Now a very friendly cafe serving excellent coffee and cake. It is small and can get cramped on a wet miserable day - but in the sunshine it overspills on to surrounding pavement and is difficult to fault. If you are in the area and need a break - call in - you will not be disappointed.

I've popped into Cafe on the Square a few times. Constantly amazed at how wonderful it is - lovely food and cakes at great prices. I've only drunk tea before but today I had a coffee. It's was good as,or better than, any from the more 'hip' coffee shops in the city. I'd really recommend stopping here on your way into Bristol if you've had a motorway drive and come off at the M5 Avonmouth exit. It's set in a green space on the main road with a children's play area next to it.

We all live in Bristol and come over here often for the friendly atmosphere and good well priced food . The staff are great and very kind it makes the place for us .
