Cafe Nero, 46 Regent St in Bristol, City of

Llamé esta mañana para un café y un dulce. En el mostrador había un pastel de mousse de pistacho y chocolate. Se veía bien, así que pensé en comprar una porción. Pedí un macchiato de caramelo de dos tragos. Ambos artículos llegaron a £ 7. 30 y aquí está la parte que me enojó... la rebanada de pastel que recibí no era la rebanada que estaba en el mostrador... cuando llegué a casa y abrí la caja... sabía que me habían tomado. Este era un desliz de la porción que estaba en el mostrador. Un poco de juego de manos continuó. Estaba observando al tipo y era tan hábil para completar el engaño que ni siquiera me di cuenta. El tipo realmente cortó la porción por la mitad por el medio. Malas y exiguas... 4 cucharaditas y eso se había ido... el café... dos bocados y toda la experiencia duró 1. 6 minutos. ¿Es esto lo que deberíamos esperar? ¿Deberíamos estar preparados para preguntar “eso es lo que obtendré?” ¿O deberíamos esperar que esto suceda? En ninguna parte decía que el pastel se sirve por peso y esta rebanada pesa X. No espere obtener una buena relación calidad-precio. Hablando de una estafa flagrante. La próxima vez seguiré caminando y me haré un café medio decente cuando llegue a casa. Robo a la luz del día.

Demasiado pequeña y pokey. Estudiante tomando las mesas con un café para las edades que trabajan en su ordenador portátil (que está bien, pero no suficiente espacio para una familia). Los baños son una broma completa. Apenas puedes abrir la puerta lo suficiente para entrar y si alguien tuviera una emergencia médica en una, nunca abrirías la puerta para ayudarlo, ¡incluso podría ser ilegal!

The most amazing place to have a drink staff are absolutely amazing and very welcoming just need to repair the air conditioning as we are all roasting like the lovely coffee

Don’t bother going as there are so many other and much better places in Clifton. Not huge inside but still you always see one person sitting at a table for a long while with one coffee and a laptop using this as a workplace. So infuriating. A very small area of seating downstairs which is horrible. Toilets not that great either.

Yeah, I was only buying a few coffees but the girl who served us was an incredible example of good customer service. I wish I clocked her name on her name badge as she really was excellent and better than you'd expect in a coffee shop. I ordered five coffees, a bit of a complicated order, and rather than punching at the screen in front of her while I spoke, she made I contact, listened and took it all in. It was a refreshing change from the normal ordering process. Maybe most people won't even notice and to be honest it's not something I realised was missing in a coffee shop until I experienced it. She was just excellent.

Absolutely filthy from the upholstery to the floors and then in to the toilets which were rank. Needs a good bottoming and a refurb including some decent lighting in the basement

What a miserable place. Doesn’t deserve to open. Dirty, grotty and unkempt. Feels like a waiting room in a bus station.

Friendly staff, coffee exactly as I asked and, most importantly, open when I needed it to be unlike the coffee shops I walked past on the way.

Was a Sunday they close at 6pm went in at 5:47pm and was told they are shut already, I belive the doors shut at 6pm and then you clean down not that you walk out the door at 6, rude Italian girl ! And another time iv asked for a frappe but got a milk coffee when asked why it's milky and not like slush they said the machine is broken so I've asked for my money back but refused, avoid this shop and the rude Italian staff ! Much better places to get coffee around the corner

There are tables inside and outside here, right in the heart of Clifton. A really pleasant spot on a very buzzy corner. The usual top quality Nero products were as good as always.

Always busy with people using their laotops, young mums and babies. Goid selection cakes. Very good game spot to watch people passing by on busy zebra crossing and near us stop.

We love going to Clifton Village & whilst there we always go to this coffee house as they can prepare some great coffee for you all for a very reasonable price.

Why go to a fast food coffee chain like this when you can choose from so many other similar places nearby , some independent and that serve a greater selection of non boring fare. Do something different for a change

This place is ok, If you fancy a chilled out drink to yourself then i'd recommend this. However, if you're after something a bit more special then there are numerous other options in Clifton. They also seem to make the mocha with barely any chocolate.

....(IMHO). Two lovely ladies looked after us, gave us coupons for free coffee with app download and some loyalty stamps.

Disgusted by the way we were treated today at Bristol Clifton. Not sure what’s the waiter’s name, but on my receipt it says ‘6769 MiroslavP’. We’re not local, here on a holiday and always heard good reviews about cafe Nero. Because we’re not local, my friend were trying to take selfies, and the waiter thought that we were trying to take his picture. He looked at us, with a very stern and unpleasent face, and told us in a very condescending way ‘that’s not nice’. Even before that when we were placing our orders he did not smile nor acknowledge us, even the way he spoke and acted were very condescending towards us. We explained to him that we were not trying to take his photo and even said sorry. Because he had prepared our order, I decided to pay and asked for the receipt. Again he was not happy, and actually took his phone out and reenacted what we did. Again I explained to him we were not taking his pictures, we are sensible people. I found it to be very disrespectful; He could have told us nicely, after all we are paying customers! We were not there to ask for free drinks!! Appaling! Just no respect, even though I’ve said sorry and explained to him that we didn’t do what he thought we did. We talked to his colleagues who were there, the other guy (I assume his good friend) was sort of defending him; but the other lady was actually listening attentively to what I say. The other guy just told me ‘fair enough,you can put a review on google.’ Appaled! No acknowledgment or apologies. Well, okay, so here’s the review. Will never come back!

Three coffees to take away- two flat whites one with almond milk (vegan) and an Americano with milk. Perfect and quickly served in time to catch the bus!

A pesar de que estaba agregando a mi orden, sentí que los estaba molestando. Y no me ofrecieron un recibo, ni le dieron la oportunidad de preguntar; ya había pasado al siguiente cliente. Entonces, la primera vez que compre algo de Caffe Nero y definitivamente el último. Tuve una porción de pastel de capuccino para llevar y fue STALE. No solo estaba la esponja seca, la capa externa de la esponja era casi crujiente y el sabor era a cartón o rancio. Fue absolutamente desagradable. Lamentablemente no pude devolverlo ya que me lo llevé a casa y mi casa está en Wotton Under Edge (a 32 kilómetros de distancia). Enormemente decepcionado.

Best coffee and pastry and you can watch a lot of nice cars go by. there is an area outside to sit and watch the world go by. Good spot to stop on your cycle ride too.

Por haber sido regular durante aproximadamente 6 años, las cosas habían ido un poco rancio, pero últimamente estoy tan contenta al decir que el nuevo gerente NAOMI, ha se animaba las cosas. Una señora atractiva y capaz joven con una sonrisa preciosa. Recomiendo una visita a reunirse con ella y los nuevos miembros del personal.

Having been regular clients at this establishment for over 6 years due to numerous staff changes over the past 3 months we could be seeking a new venue. Coffee great - service great , but something is missing during the recent months.

I paid a visit while I have time to kill in Clifton and I have to say that the place was most welcoming and the staff very friendly. I had a delicious sandwich and a brilliant latte. I'll be back as soon as I can.

El personal es muy amable y el café está hecho como se pide en esta casa transitada de café. Esquina de la calle pero lejos del bullicio de la billage. Los periódicos y a veces las butacas son gratis!

We don't drink coffee so came here to try their new tea collection by Te. The tea is fine and comes in large mugs which is a nice change to the often mini cups of tea on offer at so many venues. My daughter had hot chocolate which she rated as good. Nothing special really just an average chain café.

The cafe Nero in Clifton village has to be one of their most treasured locations. Would go daily if we could afford it, but usually manage 2 or 3 times per week. Atmosphere is divine - staff are superb - coffee is top quality - price is right and the loyalty scheme ensures that a free cup is supplied every couple of weeks. GREAT!

My mother came to stay and we decided to walk over to Clifton to look at the suspension bridge, to enjoy the autumn colour on the trees. We decided to have coffee and cake and saw Cafe Nero. We had great service; the coffee was delicious and there was a wonderful choice of cakes. Lots of seating both upstairs, outside and downstairs. There are toilets on site.

The coffee was its usual high standard. The tea was awful so my wife says, the toilets were absolutely disgusting. I hope the hygiene elsewhere is far better

Lovely indulgent family breakfast. Mocha and pain au chocolat for me. Friendly staff. Lovely decor and surroundings.

Lo bueno de tomarse un cafe aqui es que ,al margen de lo que se paga por un simple cafe, que ya es bastante, es que te da la opcion de registrarte en su wifi gratuita y ya tienes wifi en casi toda la ciudad. Al margen de eso.....los cafes, tés y bolleria son igual de calidad y precio que en cjalquier otra cafeteria inglesa

As with all Nero Cafes you know what you are going to get. But what Makes this Nero different is the feel of being in a village / district that has regulars that go to the cafe and know each other. And the staff are fantastic they know all the regulars names and their drinks, its impressive. Very friendly - eager to ensure you have a pleasant experience and that you will come back. Its lively and upbeat and has a great feel to it. Quite out of the ordinary. As is their Espresso over Ice.

Enjoy coming here in good weather as its one of the few places in Clifton that have outside seating. It's an old road that they have partitioned off but it's great to sit outside when the weather is good. Coffee and cakes are fairly typical cafe Nero stuff and the service is quick and efficient. It can get dusty when the buses go past but the bus does stop right by the cafe so that's a bonus if you're carrying your shopping!

Great coffee..great service.Highly recommended. Have used both cafe Nero in the centre and have always been impressed with the friendly greeting..A great place to relax and unwind.
